1741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Go home with a profit and come back to end up losing a lot. on: September 24, 2022, 06:56:24 AM
When this happens in a casino it becomes a laughable incident. When it happens online none knows, and it creates loud cry within them. I've experienced it many times, most of the time I spend little by little and make a small wager. My ultimate was to have winning momentum till the weekend, but this never happens with me. Most of the time I end up empty wallet by Friday or Saturday. This week this has happened too earlier during Monday.
1742  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Things to keep in mind before accumulation of Bitcoin on: September 24, 2022, 04:38:19 AM
As OP mentioned there is a common understanding about the term accumulate. When we get into the discussion about investments, this have got varied meaning. When the price have reached the bottom it is the right time to accumulate. Whales does it when the bottom is reached. Common people doesn't have the mind to invest buy and invest at the low bottom.

When a person knows to make an investment at the bottom, there is no need of such complications on watching different applications to keep track of the market. Accumulation is preferred for long term and for people users who get into trading practice buying at the bottom can benefit out of the Whales Alert, Clank App, WhaleMap, Whale Watchers, WhaleBot Alerts and all.
1743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: September 23, 2022, 08:11:30 AM
I would advise people to give the Indian women cricket team some more time, and not burden them with unnecessary expectations because they’ll need more exposure to perform or even outperform their male counterparts. Furthermore I feel that WIPL will be a huge success, and it’ll totally change Indian woman's cricket team performance’s and I hope that BCCI will not delay it now and launch it soon.

When you see the men's cricket team getting defeated in every tournament and suddenly the women's team starts winning international series obviously the expectation from them would go high. I never expected them to play so well in this international ODI series after their defeat in the T20 series. WIPL success largely depends on the performance of this women's team and at the moment they are flying high.
The Women team is making themselves strong against the top cricketing nations. The ODI series win is a big thing, even in the T20 series India women lost at a small margin. WIPL could've been started long back, but BCCI isn't showing interest for different reasons. The major thing, it might make people loss interest over IPL. Second thing, the board isn't ready to spend on women which is a bad attitude.

Ater more voice out of the people, often we get information that WIPL will be launched soon. Just think, no men cricketer have opened their mouth stating the need of WIPL. This means there is something hidden.
1744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chinese version of Metaverse will be great for meta casinos. on: September 23, 2022, 08:05:33 AM
Going through the VR/AR and the meta, what percentage of the people are using it. This is beyond a common man's need. It can be praised as a big innovation that have made far better things that human mind cannot think about. At the same time it also need to provide some real life usage for the common man. Everything is just a hype, and we've got everything on place. Now in the name of innovation we can't come up with realistic products and that is why everyone moved to meta which isn't needed for human survival.
1745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: September 23, 2022, 07:58:24 AM
Croatia did well... I thought Denmark would win, but Croatia showed a good level, although the game stats were the same, with the same number of shots on target... Now Croatia have swapped with Denmark in the standings and are in first place... France also finally managed to win but is still deep in the relegation zone...
France have won against Austria 2-0. Even after the win it is placed at the third position. France won the 2021 UEFA Nations League and this time the win have made its players refreshed and boosted. Netherlands have won against Poland and Poland is in a difficult position to move to the top two places of the group.
1746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch To Ban Gambling Streaming By October 18th. on: September 23, 2022, 07:41:02 AM
This isn't really a big deal considering the fact that there are several popular alternatives to shift to if they actually go through with the ban.

Streamers will most likely shift to platforms like YouTube etc and their followers will shift there too. The silver lining here is that this ban will make it more difficult for scammers to scam naive, gullible gamblers around the world.
For some reason Twitch seems to be most preferred for streamers. Finding an alternative to Twitch is not a big deal. Knowing this more applications might've got developed.

I don't think people will shift to YouTube, and there is a question why Dice is in the list. To my understanding, it is the one that is being much watched and preferred by streamers as well as the viewers.
1747  Economy / Gambling / Re: Euphoriabet.io NO KYC Crypto Esports Betting and Roulette on: September 23, 2022, 07:11:15 AM
Very few platforms emergency for the purpose of eSports betting. In recent days it is the second one to operate dedicatedly for eSports. Earlier it was thunderpick.com which has got eSports along with sports betting and casino. KYC free access is a big attraction and many users find this welcoming. It is good to go through the conditions before making a deposit, because when some issue arises there is need of KYC.
1748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 23, 2022, 05:34:16 AM

Any of the cricket team who play against Pakistan always consider Pakistan as storm especially when they are in form and some times their 2-3 wickets are enough to finish the entire match which is often seen. Again, if they are not in the form, its different image is also seen. Their poor performance against Sri Lanka in the last Asia Cup had a negative impact but they covered it up with an excellent win in the last T20 match ‍against England.
Pakistan have given an unexpected comeback with the win against England, but this doens't mean their performance will continue to be the same in the upcoming matches. There is consistency in performance with few players. Even in the match against England, if the first wicket have fallen they might've lost the match which is the truth.
1749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will digital dollar be a threat to bitcoin? on: September 23, 2022, 03:19:41 AM
The government have got broad plans, but on execution it won't get the expected results. The digital dollar from US is planned to function on the decentralised network eliminating the middleman and other bank process. The government fear of its financial situation.

For now dollar is considered the reserve and countries valuate their national currencies based on dollar holdings. This benefits the US government financially. If countries leave and starts holding their own digital currency, this will affect America's financial progress. For that purpose digital dollar is being developed and this doens't make any impact over bitcoin.
1750  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the future of Bitcoin uncertain? on: September 22, 2022, 11:29:16 PM
Not the future, the present itself uncertain for various reasons.

  • It is hard to predict the price movements, sudden transition of market trend happens in no time
  • The market is subject to manipulation by the Whales
  • Influencers have got the ability to drive the market upward/downward with their statements connective to crypto
  • Governments and banks fear of cryptocurrency as a source of money laundering and terrorism funding
  • More scams in the name of cryptocurrency creates negativity around the market
1751  Economy / Economics / Re: Iranian launching Crypto Rial on: September 22, 2022, 11:20:44 PM
Iran is trying the other option for their currency and this one might be their way to avoid sanctions from other countries especially with US. This can be good for their own people but in general, this might not affect that much especially it is a centralized crypto where the government have a full control of it. This is still a good news though, you just need to have more research though before adopting, just to be sure that your money can be safe.
For a country to stay against the sanctions, it is a good choice. The usage is limited and it serves to be something as the digital form of banking. For the government it will be really good, because everything can be kept in their control. Even with fiat this isn't possible. A positive approach for a cause. Lets see what change crypto Rial making within the country.
1752  Other / Archival / Re: Why has bitcoin adoption failed in El Salvador? on: September 22, 2022, 11:15:49 PM
El Salvador faced hard criticism as it postponed the launch of bitcoin bonds. But, they've been working on it amidst the market trend. Finally this have come for the public usage. The president believes in the future progress and as a result this have been launched at the present market situation. They're quite confident in the progress as well as have things planned in the right way. For all who stated the adoption as failure, will now realise the reality.
1753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Choices: Gamble or Help the poor ? on: September 21, 2022, 01:12:34 PM
In order to understand the psychology of gamblers, i have decided to come up few questions for discussions, and here is the first one.

Suppose that you are a responsible gambler who have allocated a certain portion of money to gamble each month. Now you came across a poor person/family who is in urgent need of money. Will you quit the gambling for that month and give the allocated money to the poor family or will you prefer to gamble as you can't live without gambling ?

If it's very urgent and really an emergency then why not there are times for gambling and a time to do good deeds, you see good deeds go a long long way, and it's only one month and you can always find a way to get money if you have a good job or a business, I can live without gambling for a month because I am not that addicted to gambling that I will let other people suffer in exchange for my gambling activity.
Everyone have the same thought, but when it comes to reality we don't do it. We won't mind losing on gambling, but we find it hard to support a person in need. I remember few threads that have been created to support the flood affected countries. Very few have contributed to it. Even I didn't support, but for the past few weeks I've lost my payments gambling. If we all can support with a week's payment that could've made a big change. So, reality and discussion completely differs.
1754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invitation to teach Bitcoin in a school on: September 21, 2022, 01:08:07 PM
In Africa the adoption is taking place in a much faster way than the other part of the world. It shows, this part of the world is in much need of bitcoin against the inflated currencies. Many African countries have good resources, but the corruption and the worst management makes survival difficulties.

Suzan needs to be given credit, because she had the mind to accept technology. If not, she could've just ignored and left. The need of students is well understood and the needful is done through people who are good in it.
1755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 21, 2022, 01:00:28 PM
Hardik Pandiya was outstanding. 71 runs from 30 balls and still Not Out. Shuryakumar Yadav and Rahul also batted really well. I agree with you guys that Indian Bowlers was too expensive, except for Axar Patel. Axar Patel bowled four overs, and he conceded only 17 runs. 4.20 is a dream economy for T20 bowlers. Bhuvneshwar Kumar took four wickets, but he was too expensive as well. If you cannot get wickets, at least you have made some dot balls. That's all you should care about in T20Is.
Bowlers turn to be expensive when there is midfield and drops. Yesterday India could've gained good momentum on the match if the wickets missed weren't happened. First thing a wrong prediction on a wicket, if it was reviewed it could've been a wicket. Later after every drop there used to have a six/four which turned the overs to be expensive.
1756  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nobel prize for Satoshi. on: September 21, 2022, 08:39:31 AM
Satoshi deserve Nobel Prize, even after a decade no one is able to find the identity. Even if the organisers and jury take this into consideration the prize won't be received by the respective person. Each and every member of the forum will have the same thought and wish he gets Nobel Prize.

For now we can't do anything more to get him Nobel Prize. For now we can add a Nobel Prize badge to his Bitcointalk account through which he made his discussions. Maybe in future if the identity gets revealed, community can work for the real Nobel Prize.
1757  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Singapore is the second country to follow in El Salvador's footsteps, do you agr on: September 21, 2022, 07:27:56 AM
Singapore made the crypto regulatory framework during the year 2020. Singapore is open to all sort of business and creates the best support system for business opportunities. In all means Singapore still haven't made a decision similar to El Salvador. As Singapore doesn't have capital gains tax, cryptocurrency investment for long term investment doesn't have taxation.

The government have close observation over the cryptocurrency businesses and a result of the same, this year Singapore government banned lot of cryptocurrency products from marketing. The adoption looks to be happening slow, but in a well planned manner.
1758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 20, 2022, 01:30:45 PM
First T20 match between India and Australia have begun. Australia won the toss and decided to field. Only in India it is possible to see the ground filled with audience. In this match it looks like the ground haven't got full. Rohit Sharma and K.L.Rahul have opened the innings for India and Hazlewood have opened the bowling for Australia.

Atleast 200+ runs is a must to win the match. Both the team is with the best squad, and this makes the match to be so close.
1759  Economy / Gambling / Re: Will duelbits pay 20k bet? on: September 20, 2022, 11:52:38 AM
It is upto the game on which the wagering is done. Every game have got the highest bet value as well as the payout. At some caisnos gamblers have experienced such issues of account ban and not allowing users to withdraw the funds from the account. Duelbits is among the trusted list and I believe there is no scam acquisition on them.

When we've risked and won big out of the same, we have the rights to withdraw the amount and use it. Already several users have made big win out of these casinos and withdrawn it.
1760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Casinos vs money laundering. on: September 20, 2022, 09:04:34 AM
Majority of Money laundering is taking place through Smurfs, Mules and Shell Corporations. Gambling is on the list, but it isn't used much. The digital economy have given space for the money laundering to be done in with ease. Even with KYC people were able to make the money legal. It is quite hard to limit people from money laundering and gambling is just a small percentile against the big volume of money being laundered all around.

Gambling being a big market, there is misunderstanding that gambling is contributing big to money laundering compared to the rest of the ways followed.
