2621  Economy / Speculation / Re: What kind of price movement do you want for Bitcoin? on: June 20, 2018, 06:47:16 AM
I prefer A) small weekly increase, because this kind of movement is more stable than the others making it the best choice (I think so). C and D sounds good but could be a disatrous one, remember what happened last December? It's just like that. Btc soar higher and higher that time and then suddenly collapse like a roller coaster which reach the peak of the rail and fall down rapidly. With this situation, you only have one shot to earn profits (lots of profits possibly) but if you missed then I'm so sorry you'll have to wait a lot of time before the trend recovers again Grin.
2622  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Countries with No Bitcoin Taxes on: June 20, 2018, 04:02:42 AM
I'm from the Philippines and I'm proud to say that I can enjoy all of my bitcoin earnings (all crypto as well) here without having tax deductions Smiley. Our government didn't state any law concerning about crypto regulations so we can conclude that we can be able to use it freely without facing rule violations. Cryptocurrency is not illegal here and not legitimate as well ~ just in the middle but much more on the positive side.

Just to be clear, this doesn't mean that our government don't care about us (crypto holders) actually they do. They never fail to give us tips and a friendly warning on how risky this kind of business is.
2623  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your recommended crypto allocation? on: June 20, 2018, 01:57:11 AM
Each one of us has a different strategy on investing so a particular investor could consider all of our recommendations. There are no bad suggestions at all so his choice will just depends on his preference.

But if I were ask, I always go to Bitcoin and Ethereum with 50% allocation each.
2624  Other / Meta / Re: Separate thread for meta and merit on: June 19, 2018, 11:46:03 PM
Do you mean a board or really a thread? Whether which one you are pertaining, one thing is for sure - making any of the two is not necessary anymore. Lots of threads already existed here and Merit System is not a broad topic that's why it is not qualified to have a board.
I support merit system, but every day i came on meta threard  and again and again same question about merit and half of them are clear spam.
That happened before when Merit System was recently implemented, there's a time when almost the whole first page of meta was all about merit discussions (so ridiculous, right?). But now, can't you see that our Meta already came back to normal? We get over this already and you should too.
What!?

Hirap sila maging adaptive sa fluctuations ng coins nila kaya ang resulta eh wrong decisions which may result in two things only: might face losses or missed a great opportunity.
2626  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: “Asset with Measurable Value”: South Korea Supreme Court Recognizes Crypto on: June 19, 2018, 06:59:45 AM
Quote
For the past few months, South Korea has taken a stricter stance towards cryptocurrencies and ICOs. But it looks like with the latest developments the country is in for crypto legalization.

It's surprising to know that a government could still be able to change their bad point of view into good when it comes to discussions about cryptocurrency. Though South Korea's government opposed unto this concept, at least they now realized what they might missed a gret opportunity if they choose to ignore it. This news only prove that it is not too late to embrace the power of crypto, maybe governments are just scared because this can be a threat but if they will harness its potentials properly I'm sure they're country will become more productive. I hope South Korea will become an inspiration for others Smiley.

The decision came when a previous appellate court ordered to confiscate 191 bitcoins from an individual named Ahn. These bitcoins (BTC) are worth 2.4 billion won or $2.3 million that are earned from running an online pornography website. This was reportedly the first time a cryptocurrency has been “subject to confiscation."

I wonder where's the confiscated btc now and what they will do with a very large of money like that? Huh
2627  Other / Meta / Re: Captcha on: June 19, 2018, 03:35:38 AM
Just want the admin to know that this "security feature" is a real pain in the ass. It sometimes takes up to 5 minutes to finally pass.  Angry
5 minutes? Why too long? I know that solving captchas before logging in here changed in order to provide additional security, as far as I remembered it was only 3 - 4 captchas before but now it goes up to 5 - 6 . But despite the changes, it's still hassle-free for me simply because it's easy for a human to solve it. Maybe you are experiencing "reconnecting to captcha" that's why it took you 5 min. (probably due to slow internet). Just a tip, check the "always logged in" and do not delete the "forms" in the settings of your browser.
2628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your biggest mistake up to now on: June 19, 2018, 12:20:13 AM
Thats biggest mistake done recently. Share your ones ?
I've already done so many mistakes too as of being a crypto holder but I'm not considering them big, for me they are just minor compare to the ones you experienced. As of now, the worst thing I've done is to cash out even though it's not the best time for it. Take note, I'm aware that it was an impractical move but I still did because I don't have any choice — I really need some money that time. Honestly, I'm having a regeret 'til now Sad.
2629  Economy / Economics / Re: Germany recognized the bitcoin on: June 18, 2018, 02:41:19 PM
As what I've understand regarding this news, Germany already legalize bitcoin in their country because they believe that banning of it must be done on a worldwide scale. Furthermore, their government could be able to get benefited by means of collecting tax on commercial profits made through bitcoin transactions. So this is gonna be a win-to-win for German citizens and their government Smiley (link:  https://www.reuters.com/article/us-bitcoin-regulations-germany/any-rule-on-bitcoin-must-be-global-germanys-central-bank-says-idUSKBN1F420E) (Willing to be corrected if I'm wrong).
2630  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Digital currencies tinuturo sa paaralan on: June 18, 2018, 01:29:58 PM

Of course, maganda na tularan natin sila.

Also, conducting seminars for crypto awareness could be a big a help.
2631  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Adoption of crypto-payments in buses on: June 18, 2018, 11:18:23 AM
I just came across this news about a Brazilian company that now accepts 3 cryptocurrencies (BTC, BCH and LTC) to book their tickets. The payment method is quite simple, just with a code in a screen, no complex technologies nor terminals. It is unclear how they handle network congestion and how many confirmations are required.
Great move by those Brazilian bus companies but I just want clear something, Is this only applicable in travel booking? If so then it would be much better if they'll also add a system where they can do the transaction already inside the bus, I'm sure that the busy bee ones who don't have time for booking will be benefited by this. Though my suggestion seems hard to achieve but if they will succed then their country will be benefited a lot.
I also seem to recall that there is an airport in Australia accepting crypto and at least one airline, but I don´t remember which one.
Maybe you are pertaining to Brisbane airport, it accepts Btc also Eth, Ltca and Dash.
2632  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Have you ever exchanged BTC face to face? on: June 18, 2018, 07:15:34 AM
That was a great experience dude! Atually that's one of my dreams with btc - to use it in my actual daily transactions. Honestly, I feel a little bit jealous to you because you are now able to apply the the concept of cryptocurrency in real-life situations while me, I can't still find a store/establishment that accepts btc here in my province Sad. I'm really trying hard to find one, everytime I buy something I ask first the vendor if he receives btc but I'm always ending like a weirdo in their eyes because they don't have any idea on what I am talking about.
2633  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Do you own a shitcoin? lol Find out. on: June 18, 2018, 05:22:17 AM
The program says that ZAP is a shitcoin. Well I'm not surprised because I already knew that fact very long time ago that's why I just gave up on it. But saying ETN, EOS and NEO are shitcoins? I barely disagree. I believe those coins have a bright future (I hope I'm not wrong in picking ETN) Well, I don't take this seriously because it's very obvious that the program has no strong basis of what it says. Grin

Anyway, I noticed that there is no constant comments on some coins, though it has same negative feedback but still different in words which makes me wonder if the system of the program only make random comments for each coin. I searched Etn and it says "Hodl that shit" then I next xrp, eos and neo; and when I searched etn again it's now "Good job! You selected a top-tier shitcoin, not a shit-tier shitcoin". Is this an error?
2634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin for future on: June 18, 2018, 01:04:27 AM
Since you prefer hodling or a long term investment, my advice for you is to choose within the top 10 coins in the market because those coins performed better and has a greater stability compare to other coins. If I were you I'll pick eth as my primary option where I invest a large portion of my money and I will disseminate the remaining part into XRP, EOS and IOTA.
2635  Other / Meta / Re: This is why merit sources shouldn't be known publicly. on: June 17, 2018, 03:18:37 PM

Thiis is bad from a number of aspects. If he doesn't know what to do, then he isn't reading the threads, or supporting the forum. A lazy poster like that shouldn't be getting merits anyway. I was in a good mood, so I just put him on ignore, but I usually report the begging spam.

A senior member knowing nothing about the merit system sounds like a bought account to me. Nevertheless, that's going to happen again, I'm afraid. Reporting them or ignoring them maybe depend on how they approach you, but, from my perspective, reporting them may be useful, just in case they are bought or hacked accounts.

I agree with you because there's a big chance that you are right sir. It is very hard to believe (IMO) that a high-ranked member which also means being old here in the forum doesn't aware that merit begging is strictly prohibited knowing also the fact that the issue regarding this was already been discussed here in Meta so many times before so there is no excuses for him.

That account should be reported and let the mods hear his alibi (I bet it won't be valid Grin). But if ever this is not a bought account then he still did a mistake and liable of what he did.
2636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At what price will you panic and start selling coins? on: June 17, 2018, 01:56:14 PM
If ever btc drops very hard assuming it reached an ATL then I will panic of course simply because it's a normal response by an investor but in the endI foresee that I'll remain hodling. I'm not 100% sure if I can achieved this but I believe I can do it. I've already witnessed a lot of major dips of btc especially the one happened after China ban ICOs (that was a crucial one to be honest) and I can confidently say that I'm less scared now and much stronger emotionally when it comes to risking.

Furthermore, if ever btc nearly drop into 0 and shows no recovery (though impossible) then it's time for me to move on but I still refuse to withdraw my coins, I'll just let it stocked on my wallet because the chance that it will suddenly recover cannot be abolish, who knows? Smiley
2637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Successful ICO Experiences on: June 16, 2018, 03:36:10 PM
Though I analyzed the first ICO where I invested, I still considered myself as lucky because I didn't experienced getting scammed or face money losses like others do Smiley. I'm just happy that I made the right choice — investing in Electroneum. I know this is still not booming in the market but at least it was a competitive coin compare to others. Actually, I'm not yet able to get profits from it because I prefer to hodl first and wait for it to skyrocket before cashing out. I know that my plan takes so much time before earning but I'm willing to wait nevertheless.

I stop dealing with ICOs as for now and invest most of my money into btc because I want to make the most out of it's drop. But as soon as I see an ICO that is good and has a potential then I'm willing to take risks.
2638  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: NAGING TOP 11 NA ANG PILIPINAS!! on: June 16, 2018, 02:11:18 PM
Latest Update: June 9, 2018 - June 16, 2018

TOP 10 HIGHEST MERIT GIVERS IN LOCAL BOARDS

1. Russia - they accumulated 6828 merits and the highest local board with 2643 merit transactions.

3. Indonesian -  they accumulated 3389 merits with 1665 merit transactions.
4. German -  they accumulated 3217 merits with 1775 merit transactions.
5. French -  they accumulated 2183 merits with 550 merit transactions.
6. Chinese - they accumulated 1460 merits with 371 merit transactions.

10. Phillipines Crotian - they accumulated 906 with 602 merit transactions.
11. Philippines - they accumulated 757 with 307 merit transactions.

Anything could happen in a glimpse of an eye and besides konti lang naman ang lamang sa atin ng Croatia (sa tingin ko) so we should work harder and keep our posts qualitative. There's nothing wrong of seeking more improvements, right? Smiley
Nakadepende ang Give and take method if both sides ay kamerit merit~ Gusto ko na din maging aware kayo, Hindi namin sagot if someone accused you na nagmemerit farm ka, like i said it's super risky.
Di mo rin naman ako masisisi, I'm prerty sure that some of you also know what I feel.
2639  Economy / Services / Re: MB8Coin Signature & Avatar Campaign(FULL) on: June 16, 2018, 09:13:42 AM
Payments have been sent to those who qualified, there are 4 open slots
Payment received. Thank you sir Smiley.
2640  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you spend less bitcoin/alts now? on: June 15, 2018, 04:05:40 PM
Yup dude, I feel the same way also but in my case we're different. Though I want to remain hodling, I still cannot because I need to fulfill my daily necessities. I'm now on my OJT and I'm not yet getting support coming from my companions so I have to cash out some of my money every time I needed. I know that this is not the proper time for dumping but I don't have any choice. Well, it's alright (despite the losses I get) as long as my money will go to things that are good and has a purpose.
