2621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: EBAY might accept BITCOIN on: March 02, 2022, 10:37:58 PM
Hey guys theres a news article stating that ebay might be accepting Bitcoin and other cryptos, if this happens then I believe itll be a game changer for the crypto world. Not sure how credible the article is , has anyone else heard anything similar. Also there was mention of an announcement on march 10 to confirm this. If positive,  We could see a new high even in these times uncertainty .

As long there would be no confirmations from Ebay itself then it would just still remain as a rumor.
Just like on Amazon
https://www.reuters.com/business/retail-consumer/amazon-denies-report-accepting-bitcoin-payment-2021-07-26/

It was been on the talk that they had been accepting bitcoin but it was denied.I dont know on what would be the situation
here on Ebay.
2622  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: PROFIT must not be top priority in trading, instead of LEARNING first. on: March 02, 2022, 09:28:00 PM
I certainly agree with this because based on my experience, our funds would be nothing no matter how big it is if we aren't knowledgeable about trading. We have to invest knowledge first so we'll be able to create the right decisions and we'll know how to deal with every market situation. Trading is a long process of learning but it's an edge because we couldn't gain the profit that we want if we lack knowledge.
It's the first step.

Take it from those professional traders that they've been through several ups and downs before they've reached themselves into that peak of their trading career.

Learn in all aspects that you should as you trade like in experience, trial and errors, risk management, emotional management and as in almost everything.
You would need to learn everything and having a good control of it because if one of those factors are lacking then you wouldnt really be that much a good trader or sustainable ones.

Ex. Emotional aspect on which if you do fail on this one alone then you would really be having a problem on sustaining yourself into this career yet this one
would create some problems which would really be hard for you to fix it out if you arent that good on handling your emotions.
This is one of the example and there are lots of rest which you do need to learn and need to control of.
2623  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake charging $3.09 on a $1.69 withdraw on: March 02, 2022, 08:19:31 PM
it is one of their ways of earning money. if you think the amount is too much, better use a gambling site that don't charge anything when withdrawing.
This is true and this is how business works on which they do earn profit out of those fee extra aside on getting from house edge alone. If you dont like their fee structure then you could always opt out

They could just tell the truth about it that they are charging withdrawal fee, though I think that $1 is nothing for most of us. I think this user is disappointed and feel he is deceived by the Stake because the fee is different from the blockchain than what he paid for but to tell the truth it doesn't bother me, I withdraw small amount yesterday and it came to my wallet in less than 5 mins I didn't notice about the fee by the way.

What telling the truth? Withdrawal fee is visible when you visit the wallet of Stake and also it was indicated on there TOS under Withdrawal category("Note that some payment methods may include an additional fee. In this case, the fee will be clearly visible for you in the cashier." -https://stake.com/policies/terms). It's the player responsibility to inspect carefully the Casino before he will play on it because once he click the agree button on the ToS part, You agree already on what is written there and you should follow which in this case was the fee is visible by the time he withdraw and accepts it as is.
Dont know about that telling the truth yet it is clear as day on what they are charging and dont tend to hide anything which its a non sense kind of word that had been said.

It is how things been set out so as a player then there's nothing we can do but to deal with it yet they dont have any internal exchange where you could really make out some conversions
but i do remember that you could sent out some funds on using Dinabot.. I havent experience it for myself but this might able to help out.

on other casinos as well which do only deduct dynamic network fees which i could say that it is really not that a headache but only seldom players do make out some small withdrawal thats why

these fees could really make you doubt on making one but much sure you do already have the idea.Stake does have high btc withdrawal fee based on my past experience.
2625  Economy / Economics / Re: Sanctions left and right, Can the Russian economy survive? on: March 01, 2022, 11:27:59 PM
They probably would, but it isn't to say that it would be easy, especially on the lower class. The rich are probably prepared for it, there were some early signs that they could've used to stash their savings safely, plus they have the connections to make it happen. They'd survive alright, but it'd be pretty hard. I hardly doubt Putin wasn't prepared enough to experience this much sanctions when he started this, he probably expected more tbh. He wouldn't start this issue if he wasn't prepared thoroughly for it imo.
The Russian economy is without a doubt going to receive a huge hit with all the actions that we are seeing being implemented against it, however it will survive, after all the major exports of Russia are natural resources that other countries cannot really afford to not buy, however the internal economy of Russia could receive a strong hit as all the imports are going to become incredibly expensive and the general population will have to learn to live without them, reducing even further the strength of the Russian economy, which like all other economies still had not recovered from the hit of the pandemic.
This is just new.
Russia faces financial meltdown as sanctions slam its economy
https://edition.cnn.com/2022/02/28/business/russia-ruble-banks-sanctions/index.html

So the effects are been seen now and speaking on sustaining would be still in question whether those sanctions would be removed immediately
or would be permanent.
2626  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|✍️Signature Campaign|🎮Free-to-Play|🔋Rakeback & Recharge bonuses on: March 01, 2022, 10:26:41 PM
I opened an account a few days ago and made about $2000 profit, and then after withdrawing got some really weird messages asking for KYC docs.

I am not doing anything suspicious - just betting on a few football matches that seem like they are profitable, and I am betting from Ireland where it is legal.

Has anyone experienced this before - really don't want to have to give my personal details across to a gambling company!!

Did you carefully read the ToS before registering on the platform? There is a rule that they reserve the right to ask KYC at any time, and I'm assuming they asked KYC from you because of a rollover requirement. This means that each user must wager at least 3 times the deposit (for sports betting), and only after that, the withdrawal may be approved. Anyway, if you didn't break the rules, you should not have any problems with KYC because Betfury can be trusted.
In most cases, you wont really able to push through withdrawal if you havent able to wager up your deposit on that particular requirement because it would show up some warning or alerts that you needed to do that.

In his case, he do able to make out some withdrawal and later on it do ask out some KYC which do really sucks because some of known popular gambling  sites on this market doesnt really have
any requirement even if you do withdraw much more bigger amounts or without having those strings attached.

Therefore, theres something wrong with the user and if there's none then there might be some security trigger or some sort.
2627  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: PROFIT must not be top priority in trading, instead of LEARNING first. on: March 01, 2022, 09:11:50 PM
I understand how bad if we lose money on our first trade but I think we have to understand as well that not all went too easily. There is something we need to change and instead of focusing on how to earn money, it supposes we have to focus on how to enhance our knowledge and skills first. For the moment that we have all of these things, it can be easy for us to make a profit in the market...it guarantees nothing but nobody was able to succeed in the absence of these things.
SUSTAIN!

This should really be your first priority and next would be making profits because once you do able to sustain yourself then profits will be flowing through because you do able to make money
on longer runs. This is why surviving is the first or mindset you do have when you are dealing on this market and not just hurrying up yourself on making money because this would really
just give out those kind of desperation which might result into mistakes. Learn things first and when you do able to handle up yourself well on this market then making money
wouldnt really be hard.

Yeah, i have read that but it would take up some time but having some exemptions would be good for those who dont have any plans on depositing.
Thanks for the heads up.

Unfortunately my IP is blocked due to location.  I wish there was the option available to still play the demo so that when I am in other locations I would know if I like the site or not.

They had some response to this about VPN.

Is VPN use allowed?

VPN in general is for user protection and security in internet but if domain blackjack.fun is blocked in your country then unfortunately we have to say NO to you.

So its not allowed and if its blocked into your country then theres nothing you can do.
2629  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun | 0.28% House edge | Live tables | Baccarat |Slots| InstantWithraw on: March 01, 2022, 07:11:09 PM
This might be a little off topic yet i would be asking about withdrawal.

If you are a signature campaign participant and with the current security system of blackjack.fun on which to those people who dont make out deposits
will be having those withdrawals would be processed manually. So the question is, if you do play with your signature pay inside the site it would solve out the
problem or you would really be needing to deposit the minimum at least?
I am an example of such a participant. My deposit consists entirely of the reward for participating in the signature campaign. I don't know the answer to your question yet, but I'll look into it in the coming days and let you know. I'm just as interested in this as you are. I hope this doesn't turn into a little quest that I had to go through: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5239387.msg59358747#msg59358747 Smiley.
My email verification has arrived in my email account but it is placed in my Spam folder. So I think you can start to check the email verification on your Spam folder as I am.

I do not know how it could be, but I see that my email has already been confirmed, so I hope there is no other problem in the future. But if I need to deposit the minimum to release the payment, I think that will not be a problem Wink

But I see there is no minimum or maximum deposit, so that great to us Grin
In regarding on playing out something with my balance then i have just tested out some bets on blackjack but not really much (6-10 bets) as far as i remember. So i do assume out that
signature payment wagering doesnt count or i havent able to reach up possible threshold for possible wager requirement.

Well, its better to make out some deposits and solve that pending withdrawal yet i do miss out that instant thing.  Grin
2630  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Only invest an amount you can afford to lose" on: February 28, 2022, 11:40:02 PM
I think people who "only invest an amount you can afford to lose" still end up losing their money. Because after all is said and done, the human psychology will view any investment amount that took convincing yourself that it was "ok to invest" as a risky amount.

And they will fall for FUD and FOMO almost just as hard as if they invested an amount that they couldn't afford to lose.

The right saying should be: "invest an amount you are comfortable with losing". That way, you won't keep looking at charts every 2 minutes with your finger on the sell button.

Yeah but the difference here is.... they will lose a small amount as against losing a huge amount if they would have invested more than what they can afford to loss, one way or another if you are not careful, you will lose money, to me, i think they interpreter the same thing, nobody wants to actually lose any money no matter how small, if it happens, the impact won't be to hard because the invested amount is withing what you can afford.
Losing something which you hadnt anticipated will surely create that kind of emotion or mindset on being that impulsive which would cause even more problems if you dont have that kind of good

self control and you should really realize that investing or spending the money that you could afford to lose is a must whether you are investing or doing gambling or something in related to it.

You wouldnt really be that stressful in case you do lose those money, what matter most here is to sustain despite of that condition.
2631  Economy / Gambling / Re: How To Access Sportsbet.io or any kind of gambling without VPN on: February 28, 2022, 10:46:06 PM
We are all advising not to follow what OP is recommending he did not post that the method is effective and just inviting you to cheat he is already banned for a reason that he did not mention, you don't want to hear instruction from a guy who got banned you will just jeopardize your account so don't follow this method on a casino that you're playing if they don't allow the use of VPN.

You know what makes some people hook onto some things and later regret, that is because they love doing things they shouldn't have done in the first place. Your country ban something, doing it at your own will is a crime and there is a reward for any crime committed, then why risk it in the first place?
The earlier thread was complicated due to religious settings and of course, you know what happens if a country is ruled by a theocracy, their Yes is yes and No is remains unchangeable. I will leave to gambling if it goes against my country's objection not to talk of the KYC by casino
People would never ever learn until they would be experiencing those unfortunate things to happen later on.If you do know that your country is really prohibiting or restrict something then why do go

ahead and trying to force out on what you do have in mind.If you havent caught yet then good but dont be that too confident that things wont really be discovered in the end of the line.

Using up VPN on your own risk and if you arent ready for possible problems then avoid it on the first place.
2632  Economy / Gambling / Re: Hashwars.games | Blockhash based Rolls/Verification | No KYC | up to 0.01% edge on: February 28, 2022, 09:57:56 PM
So, mostly it means that the OP decided to drop this site. May be he has not enough skill to improve it or he spent all his money for site design(it strange if it costs some money but it is possible), hosting and some other expenses - we don`t know but it doesn`t matter, we can forget this casino i think.
Just heard about this site and decided to check it out and it feels like a kid designed this site since it doesn't seem professional at all. Looks more like a indie game site to be honest.

This is why I am not surprised that he isn't active in this thread and that the site itself isn't receiving high traffic. Overall, I agree with your opinion about forgetting this site.

The owner seems not in a hurry to build this site. Because from his site itself, he said that he built many websites already.
And upon checking in whois, it is up for sale according to this below snapshot (check the upper right hand corner) -
~

So maybe, the OP already put up this site for sale?
Buying a new domain is easy and cheap these days. So no wonder, he may put this site to sale already and move on to the next.
Even if he do tends to sell it up but im much sure that no one would intend to pay up for something like this.Site design is indeed like been created by a kid and even that chatbox
wasnt placed correctly.

It isnt surprising that it would just simply ignored and die afterwards if they would not really get such attention.Just like into those casual poorly made gambling
sites. Only the good ones would really be having the chance to survive.
2633  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A few key points distinguishing traders from gamblers on: February 28, 2022, 08:55:30 PM
Gamblers take advantage of everything they believe would provide them with quick cash, and when it fails, they become furious, and the same way they take crypto trading. They assume that they can just invest in a coin and receive a 10X return right away; nevertheless, they are frequently discovered to lack fundamental knowledge of cryptocurrency trading, and they are frequently the false investors that dump new projects in the name of gambling.
Unfortunately many newbies  have that kind of mentality, which is sad because that means they are going to lose a huge amount of money to the markets as it is very difficult to predict not only which coin will go through a 10x growth but when it will happen, after all stories of people that held a coin for years and the coin experimented no movement only for them to sell their coins and then the coin skyrockets shortly after are not rare at all.
Cant really deny that we are once having this kind of mentality when we are still a newbie on which it isnt that surprising on having that kind of thing in mind that we do make out decisions on a rush manner on which we dont even apply proper analysis into it.

You are the ones who do able to realized on what you are doing and if you do experience out losses then this is the time you would really make out some adjustments since you are aware that
proper risk management is the key.

Dont think like a gambler because you would not sustain into this market if you do have that kind of behavior which isnt really that suggested at all.

Im bit excited for this as well on which blackjack.fun does really hear out peoples/communities suggestion which is really great and just like those top tier popular sites on which they do really
hear out with their players demand or simply the current trend now on which most casinos are really like on one stop shop for their players which offering all sorts of games from casino into
sports book all in one which does really give out big convenience into  those who do tend to play on the site. We are eyeing for this one!

But we will not see this in the near future, because there are still some updates that have not been finished in blackjack.fun like VIP status
When offering more products then everything must be prepared one of them is live support service I see Blackjack.fun still lacking the team there
Live support is preferred but we've seen some gambling sites does have their chatbox which do have bot to answer up all of those possible common questions asked by its players

which means that it isnt really that necessary for them to put up but it would be good if there would be some staffs which would really be that focused on some queries which is unusual.
Also, integration of new games wont really be that hard but of course they would need still to see if there's soo much demand to it.
2637  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Richlist Identity on: February 26, 2022, 09:40:35 PM

one of the reasons many people are trooping into crypto-currency is because it's decentralized, and protects ones privacy I think it would go against that value revealing the identity of those rich lost holders except the owners do it by themselves, regardless we really don't have any need to find out who they are if they legitimately got the funds there into their wallet in the first place.
Even if you do know the owner of such wallet address then what would you do next? Its true that one of the things or factors on why crypto is been loved that much because of its characteristics

which is decentralized and anonymous. We are seeing lots of wallets which are dormant but we dont know if those are totally lost in void or still intact into its owners which do owns lots of
coins which we couldnt really tell in the first place.

Anonymity wouldnt fit out on crypto space if you could easily trace up on whose the owner of those coins or wallets.
2638  Economy / Economics / Re: Your opinion on side jobs on: February 26, 2022, 08:35:28 PM
As long as it doesn't hinder your main line of work then you're good to go and if it doesn't consume a lot of time and it doesn't feel like another job at all then you're probably alright continuing that said side job but if those are the opposite of my criteria then it's probably time for you to stop doing it or if it's paying really well then you need to quit your main work and focus your efforts in that side job and work your way to making it your new career.
Nowadays, where people are already used in multi tasking, we can engage in two or three jobs aside from our own main job. As long as you get to manage your time and you are able to make a good income out of those jobs, that will be very fine. In some cases, side jobs even create a better opportunity to give us a bigger compensation compared to our main job. This is the reason why some people leave their main job so they can maximize their income through making those side jobs as their main job and main source of living.
Ive known some people do even have 3 or 4 jobs at the same time but of course the other jobs arent really that needing some hard work or simply just some sideline jobs but of course you would really

be still needing that specific skills on which you could really take advantage of it or utilize it for your own benefit or advantage speaking on having multiple income or sources that you would get.
As long you could able to handle it well and doesnt really have any problems in terms of your health or have balance on time then i dont see any problems.

Waiting 3 days now on a withdrawal because of an empty hot wallet. Fucking joke.

I thought everything is working smooth here already. Anyway, maybe, just wait for a bit as I believe the owner said that things will be back to normal again. They still have good amount of bankroll, so it is just a matter of refilling the hot wallet. Let us know the updates of your withdrawal so people are aware that there is existing withdrawal request that has not been fulfilled yet.

The last issue about withdrawals the complainant created small withdrawals and all his withdrawals pushed through I don't recommend this to the new complainant to use that method if his withdrawal is a small amount, but complaints like this will hurt Bitvest and soon there will be no new players only old players who will continue to play here out of loyalty, if you checked Lighlord profile he logs in yesterday again no update, nothing new here.
This thing that do sucks that you do know that the owner had logged in but didnt really give out any words or announcement or something like that which do really give out some bad impressions.

He had mentioned that things would go smoothly again or would be fixed but still there are complaints and issues which if they would be leaving it there then i wouldnt be surprised
that even old players or fan of using this site will surely be jumping into other place.
2640  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When Greed Comes First in Trading, the Result is Bankruptcy on: February 26, 2022, 06:38:04 PM
Of all I know about greed is a negative or a meaning that associates with strong emotion to get that certain thing but like what I've said in a negative way. But this time I would going to agree with you mate, greed can be turn into positive depends on how the person would interpret it. Some people are so good to look for a positive thing out of a negative situation.  Though in terms of trading and investment being greedy always look like a drawback of a person but this could be a strong emotion that he wanted to achieve or to get a certain thing that he believes he deserve.

I am glad we have the same understanding regarding this angle for positive greed. Nevertheless, I have nothing more to say beside that I agree with you with regards to trading, greed can be a drawback if it’s not controlled and put into its right place. Sometimes, in life, we tend to overdo what has been given and blessed upon us, without realizing that mere action and mindset is already greed.
Not surprisingly on which people would be mainly focusing for it cons rather than on its pro's on which we couldnt really deny that being greedy does have its plus side but it would really be situational.

But in most cases on which being greedy will surely be putting you into big trouble if you dont able to handle it well thats why you should really be wary in regarding to hat.

Dont let your greed control or overcome you on which you should still have that good control in regarding with emotion and mindset so that you could execute out things well.
