I have the gold units (feb15 batch). For the last 10 days I've been promised an updated, more stable firmware for the controller. Did anyone get a link to download the new firmware yet? My rig is constantly restarting (every 30-60 mins), and if I leave them running for 12 hours or more, sometimes one or even as much as three units go cold (stop hashing, and are not displayed within the web dashboard anymore). The disappearing miners can be activated again by power cycling both units and controller, but it's really annoying.

So, anyone got the new firmware yet? Would be great if someone could upload it and post a link.

looks like there is NOT going to be any update, as far as i talked with Jack, we must send our controllers back to china, and he will send new ones with new firmware back to us.

i repeat, this is what i understood, im not sure 100%

So far with the v2 firmware I am experiencing reboots even though I set it to never reboot on dead miners.  I only have 7 miners running at 750.  I am wondering if it's the usb hub that was supplied, some of the ports don't make the miners light up green when plugged into the usb, while other ports do.  I am going to try a different hub and I'll report back.

Maybe better HUB & good USB cables might help?

I'm using the USB hub that was supplied with my miners and running minerd on RasPi works rock solid!  3 days now and no problems...~3400-3500kh, 100watts, and no worries.  Tongue

Why don't you post your sdcard Image from your Pi, that would be great!

yea, post your sdcard image Smiley

I finally received my LA3M yesterday and got it up and running very quickly. However I'm just getting maximum around 3.5M, any idea how to get this higher and close to 5M which was what was originally stated by Jack.

I thought these units were stated by Jack to run at 3 MH/s hence the model number LA3M...

yes, thats correct, he never advertised 5MH, he said it might go there with a better firmware

So if we run in only LTC mode, we should be fine with running all 20 miners from just one of the 360w PSU's then no?

Anyone know anything about the efficiency of those PSU's?

in scrypt mode u can attach 6-7 safely
2640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [GUIDE] GridSeed Miner Support/Tuning on: February 25, 2014, 10:35:45 PM
For the ones who received black wires to connect to the PSU ; the wire with white text on it its the RED.
