2642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the benefit of starting a Coin without any ICO? on: January 15, 2017, 05:53:55 PM
The reality is both methods can be gamed by the founders.

1.  ICO - invest into your own project and get your Bitcoins back, and get free "New Coin" coins.
2.  Mining - instamine / stealth mine / premine before the market gets on your project.

and they get away with it all the time.  Look at the top 20 projects on CMC and the vast majority fall under #1 or #2 above.

How ? Because a dev has a mining farm and will rape mine the coin on launch ?
Well.. we all have that same OPPORTUNITY now don't we ?

A fair coin launch fairly is fair .

A rigged coin is rigged.

ICO = SCAM

PS:
Miners are securing the block chain / keeping it moving and are INVESTING in hardware showing real support.
They mine and get a reward for it.
Not comparable to ICO scams.. AKA: all of them.
Don't blur the issue saying "Close enough"  Roll Eyes

Mined coins have value.. ICO coins have none.
One was earned by doing a needed and valuable task and the other is a scammy Pyramid scheme token for profits on centralized exchanges that should not exist who collect your picture ID and rat you out to the US govt.
2643  Other / Off-topic / Re: [POLL] Do you want to join a Satanic Cult ? on: January 15, 2017, 10:53:31 AM
Your right Sad

I will add to my new cult that when the Hale-Bop comet comes back again we will hop on it and join the Heavens-Gate Cult guys who drank the kool-aid way back.. they had to "leave" their bodies though.
I say we get space suits and go all NASA about it though.

I'll have to give to some thought and come back to you guys though.
Hmm maybe a Satanic Cult ICO Coin would get everyone on-board ?
Just imagine the evil ROI's  Grin

We can have an evil coin that is a blatant PONZI and users at the bottom get a punch in the face and no money.. and the higher up the pyramid scheme you get the more rewards you get.. sounds great huh ?
Sounds like LEO coin Sad
Well that idea is taken  Cry

..back to the drawing board
2644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If LTC is faster than BTC, Why Don't We Use It? on: January 15, 2017, 09:29:39 AM
Yeah.. i knew there was a lot of technical reasons. LOL
Useful reply Herbert2020 Wink
2645  Other / Off-topic / Re: lockpicking tools on: January 15, 2017, 09:26:28 AM
Youtube.. i seen some good videos before.

There is one method to make a basic key or buy one and then you hit the lock.
Opens up damn near anything really.

Diff locks out there too..

I seen a fancy metal case in a second hand shop last year and knew it was valuable brand new but it was selling for $5 because no one knew the combo lock numbers.
When i got home i had it open in a couple minutes on my first try after looking on Youtube / Google.
No, there as nothing in it.
I sold it for $10 to a friend who was at my house as soon as i picked the lock.
PROFIT !

I recall old Kryptonite Bike locks could be opened with plastic Bic pens too.. that was funny.
Many pop machines when i was a kid could be opened by getting a key for a locking light switch at the hardware store.. go in and borrow the key and go open the machine up Smiley

Anyway you need to learn locks.
Newer / expensive ones have anti-lock picking shit in them now though.
So it's about knowing what brand and style of lock you are working with.
Then acquiring the tools after.
You can buy them or make them i think.

I used a credit card lots when i was younger to get in standard cheap locks.
But i never owned a proper lock picking kit.. or tried to make one.
But i know i could if i wanted to  Cool
I am good with that sort of stuff.

..find some "blanks"
You want a set of blanks for various locks (you can buy these sets online)
2646  Other / Off-topic / Re: Crazy Man reaching out to the last line of excel by spending 9 hours on: January 15, 2017, 09:16:45 AM

He spends HOURS & hours.. wrapping & wrapping.. anything pretty much  Cheesy
2647  Other / Off-topic / [POLL] Do you want to join a Satanic Cult ? on: January 15, 2017, 09:13:53 AM
..yeah i was thinking of starting my own cult and i need victims members.
So who's in ?

Well, let me sweeten the pot a little Wink

All members will get at least 6 sex-witches for their sex-dungeon !
You will also get a special surprise personally from the Legendary Spoetnik (some FUD via PM)
There will be goats !
Lots of god damn death metal to mosh around the house to.
Quite possibly girls, drugs and booze.

And on Sundays we pray !

Hey a little Satan worship never hurt anybody.. so you guys in or what ?
Come on guys, dig out them dusty ole' Pentagrams from your closet and lets do this shit !
2648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If LTC is faster than BTC, Why Don't We Use It? on: January 15, 2017, 08:58:17 AM
What i wondered long ago was if we switched them instantly with magic..
Would we still suffer from congestion and delays etc ?
We should all know that the more used a traditional block-chain gets the slower it gets right ?
..unless they have added newer tech to combat this old problem.

See what i mean ?
If we ported over the entire user base of Bitcoin would Litecoin be fairly slow too ?
I bet it would be.
Faster still yeah.. but it would probably suffer regardless.
Because LTC does not solve general scaling issues does it ?

And yeah i am actually asking LOL
I am no expert on Block-Chain tech stuff..
I have worked on miners and looked at coin code a couple times but i can get lost in the tech shit easy.
I am not like that guy Shelby who has a gift for understanding it all really well.
2649  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: January 15, 2017, 08:52:01 AM
Well i was wrong on one thing (so far)
There was no Cryptsy version of Bitcoinbuilder.

You all may have remembered that from when GOX went down.
You could sign up at Bitcoinbuilder.com and buy "GOX BTC" in exchange for real BTC  Cheesy

You hear me Vern ?
Oh shit i think i am giving him ideas, sorry people  Cry

What ?
You think he's reading this ? You bet your ass he is LOL
Hi Paul, how's the weather in China ? We got shitloads of snow here man Wink
2650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Do Altcoin Dev's Deserve Money ? on: January 15, 2017, 08:34:03 AM
The point i hoped people took away from this was..

Hypothetically we have a dev that could be making a standard coders wage.
Or what we always see here in Crypto.. overnight millionaires.
Of what ? "One Day" coins ? Coin #5,421 ? ANN topic #4,598 ?

In other words i am trying to highlight the obscene charade this has become.
While pointing out the difference between dev's getting paid a reasonable amount of money for work completed..

vs.

Getting a check for a million dollars up front in BTC.. then accomplishing nothing.
Such as BlockNET and them chanting "smear campaign" and FUD / Troll and then letting hosting expire after 1 year and releasing fuck all to the supporters who waited for a year.

Kind of funny in about a year and a half since it came out i do not recall seeing even one single person in all of Crypto mentioning it.. and guess what BlockNET Investards ?
You were all loud mouths !
You all lined up to shoot your god damn mouth off at me and cry Troll.
Where did you scammy greedy little kidiots go ?
Let me guess you all dumped 1+ year ago and have since hopped from coin to coin 1,000 times since. ...BlockNET long forgotten.

Anyway Wink
Being paid a little.. being reasonable vs Winning the Crypto-Ponzi-Lottery via the greedy hoards who showed up here for MAD SICK ROI'z yo !!!111ONE

LIEKZ OMGZ I WONZ TEH MUTHA FUCKIN' BITCORN TALK ICO LOTTERY'Z !!!1111ONE

..time to make another one LOL
2651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple and bitshares rated the most insecure blockchain software by China CERT on: January 15, 2017, 08:25:31 AM
Nice SIG.. an "employee" of an open source fair launch decentralized free market currency ?
Let me guess you have a CEO and a CTFO etc too  Cheesy

Ripple..  Cheesy

"Big Banks"  Roll Eyes  Cheesy

No others in Crypto are as scammy with their scheme and as persistent as Ripple douche nozzles.
2652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the benefit of starting a Coin without any ICO? on: January 15, 2017, 08:22:39 AM
When a coin is launched fairly then a dev can go and mine / buy the coin etc like any other person.
..like Satoshi did.

There is no need for a rigged coin system.
2653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If LTC is faster than BTC, Why Don't We Use It? on: January 15, 2017, 08:17:10 AM
Support / Adoption.

For example.. Coinbase like idiots added Ethereum the ICO scam coin but not Litecoin  Roll Eyes
2654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEWS] LEOcoin MLM Ponzi Fraud Investigation on: January 15, 2017, 03:39:42 AM
My personal view on trolling, scam-calling and pumping …
-snipped-

Thanks for great post but troll will keep troll!
But as i say its life! 👍🏼

The guys behind this coin are accused of Fraud and an MLM scam and then had their bank accounts seized (last i heard) so.. that is "Trolling" ?
I don't think you know what the word means then.

It is what it is.. the outcome ? I have no idea.
Put it all on the table and be honest..
2655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Do Altcoin Dev's Deserve Money ? on: January 14, 2017, 09:50:58 PM
Spoetnik I have the same feeling as you do. But this is wild west with new regulations, people do whatever they want to cheat money. What I don't get is that there are "investors" so stupid to invest into these ICOs.

Well i have no major interest usually in singling out each project.
I always speak in general broad terms here.
I speak to the crowd..
Topics like this are to get us all collectively talking etc.
It is not about me or some specific dev etc.

From my perspective when i got here when BTC was sub -$50 this shit has gone down hill hard.
Many of you new guys here have no idea.
There was a time when the idea of an IPO / ICO was frowned on and flamed off the board.
Each new generation that comes along keeps lowering the bar with their sense of entitlement.

I hope everyone sees how simply ridiculous this has all become..
AND how it won't end well.

AKA: Victims.

Now i ask you all do you care about the victims or will you quickly defend your right to profit ?
This is a giant game of passing the buck of responsibility and accountability.
Who is owning up to the never ending list of bag holders for life with worthless "tokens" ?
Do you all care to ask that question ?
I don't think you do care people.
I think you have a who cares.. fuck 'em attitude and then count your money.

This topic shows the SOURCE unleashing bullshit for profit and all of you going along with it while bad mouthing them.
While you all still count your money.

The dev's deserve to be paid.
The Investors deserve to make a cut of the profits.
Then you think.. the losers deserve to go broke.

Fine.. if it was fair but it's not.. there is no regulations and governing body watching out for the little guy in crypto.

Want to throw around the term White Paper and CEO and Investor and ICO ?
Well who is going to jail for insider trading like Martha Stewart in our crypto world ?
No one !
Hell look at GOX & Cryptsy...
I guarantee V. Butters would be charged and quite possibly convicted of fraud of some kind if he had stock market regulations going on here.. it was obvious he was involved in some shady shit on launch (as well as Coindesk) Those guys bought up a worthless shell of an ICO token in 2014 in blocks of 100 BTC at a time while no one was looking and THAT is how he ended up with 4 million dollars worth 2 years later.

You all collectively deliberately ignore massive red-flags and warning signs and support bad projects such as Ethereum making it the no. 2 coin on planet earth.. so you can get a cut of the profits.. ASAP.
You don't find it odd how no one would touch ETH for 2 years ?
Thought to ask ?
Nope.. fuck no.
All you guys do is look, then see it's pumped NOW and you see dollar signs and dive on it like flies on shit.
ETH is the no. 2 AND SCAMMY because it was manipulated.

Back in 2014 people laughed at the Ethereum foundation and all their little corporate titles and the list of payments all the little figure heads got (which none of us had heard of the people)

Should dev's be paid ? (like they are now usually with ICO's and large amounts of BTC)
As sure as hell say NO !

You all completely ignore how things are RIGHT NOW and chant on about idealism.
There is a blatant disconnect from reality in Crypto and no one is taking any responsibility for the giant Ponzi / MLM / Pyramid scheme machine the Altcoin world really is.
2656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the benefit of starting a Coin without any ICO? on: January 14, 2017, 09:34:38 PM
It is not about "benefiting" the Developer.
It is about a currency being made and used.. some how.
I couldn't care less if some coin project benefits a developer or not.
Need money ? Get a job.. i hear McDonalds is hiring.
2657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Do Altcoin Dev's Deserve Money ? on: January 14, 2017, 05:47:44 PM
I never said dev's should always 100% of the time be forbidden from being paid.
What i pointed out is how the standard practice is to simply say you have Innovationz comin' ...later'' so....... hand me ICO'z money'z
In the tune of millions.

Not only are premines bad but the ICO method is corrupt and centralized and a step down from Bitcoin.
The ICO is no bloody fucking UPGRADE on Bitcoin people  Roll Eyes

The ICO is a drastic increase in centralization and all the related bad shit that comes with it.
How the hell do you all ignore that because the shithead loser dev showed up saying he has big plans ?

How do you chant decentralization while making it more and more centralized ?
Do you all even grasp the hypocrisy playing out here or are you that blind and greedy ?

We have losers calling them selves "Investors" then so called "open source" "coins" launched as ICO's with the "Teams" and "Foundations" collecting sick amounts of millions of dollars worth of coins all to be paid out the "Team" who all got a fancy title like CEO etc.
Yeah.. CEO of a company ?
A company people ..that is where those titles come from  Roll Eyes
Whether it's Decred or Ripple or Ethereum or LEO coin or services like Stakeminers they all got their little company titles and paychecks !

Company ?

Uhh Investards.. companies are REGULATED shits coins are not !
And since when is a centralized coin a decentralized company ?

Legit ?
Not one of you will stick your neck out and claim one coin did anything.
You yammer on about "Legit" dev's yet there is not even 1 example of the 6,000+ ANN topics here.

Are you all fucking retarded ?

You sit there and make excuses because one day 1 guy.. ONE FUCKING guy *might* be legit.
So uhhhhh yeah they "Should be paid"
Like holy christ !

That is like leaving the bank doors open all night when it's closed because 1 guy is maybe gonna be honest and not rob the bank blind.

Your stupid little facade here is going no where but down.
You will get the wrath of the authorities and lure in a few more greedy brats and more scammers.. that is it.
You all better get smart and fast because you are running out of time !

Bad behavior can and should have repercussions.. not excuses and more bad behavior.
2658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEWS] LEOcoin MLM Ponzi Fraud Investigation on: January 14, 2017, 04:41:59 PM

2659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Do Altcoin Dev's Deserve Money ? on: January 14, 2017, 04:40:22 PM
Did you guys read the first post when i mentioned Ethereum ?
It's the no. 2 coin people.. uhh WTF ? you think ETH is "Legit" ?
The no. 2 coin is a fucking ICO scam for crying out loud LOL  Cheesy
The so called "dev" admits to having 4 million dollars...
So uhhhhhhhhhhh how the fuck did he get it and why did he dump ?
Then look at what ETH has accomplished.. is that worth 4 fucking million dollars ?
Of course not.. that is simply retarded !
ETH is used for trading on centralized exchanges.. that is it.
And that is your big success story and example of a "Legit" ICO coin ?
Gimme a fucking bloody break people with this "Legit coin" crap  Roll Eyes

What has ANY coin accomplished ?

..trading on polo

WHoooo boy i am sooooo fucking impressed... sound like they need a million dollars for marketing huh ?

#2 coin LOL  Cheesy
2660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think "iamnotback" really has the" Bitcoin killer"? on: January 14, 2017, 04:32:03 PM
....... and spent his spare time trying to prove the existence of God with Mathematics.
There you go. A supposedly smart individual, driven by an utterly flawed ego, completely wasting everyone's time including his own, in an attempt to sell snake oil bullshit to the all-ready converted. Reminds me of someone here Roll Eyes

I seen a TV show that explained how a scientist published a paper using math to prove God does not exist then he went mad and was living in alley and eventually killed himself.

Some people have serious mental problems.. no matter how high their IQ is.

I have 0 reason to believe there is a "God" ..never seen any proof to make me think so.
Don't tell Shelby though i DO believe he is a Christian of some kind.

A persons behavior and beliefs etc come into play when they make grandiose claims.
If you all need to put things into perspective ?
Check out some of the points i have made about Shelby's behavior here on this topic already.
Or go to the Politics section and check out his "sane" theories on life..
You will find plenty of conspiracy theories.. and plenty of grandiose crazy PREDICTIONS.
Like his "Bitcoin Killer" claim / prediction.

You can be smart and a raging idiot too LOL
You have to look at the big picture / context and history.
What do i see ?
On his other account it lists account names he made in his SIG.
Combined i counted 7 accounts he created here.. why ?
And yeah i can safely assume he has created FAR more than that.
WHY ?
