2641  Economy / Gambling / Re: Livecasino.io - Livespins Game on: January 21, 2023, 10:39:21 PM
So you are talking about the sugar drop slot, right?

To be honest that looks like a pretty generic slot game to me. Similar to Sugar Rush (Pragmatic play) i've been playing for a while now. With a small difference that those multipliers aren't moving in the board in sugar rush. You should definitely check that out if you like these kind of games. I've made pretty huge wins with it so i can definitely recommended it

Found this by googling it:

Pretty well done with 2€ bet
2642  Economy / Gambling / Re: How best to report vulnerabilities? on: January 21, 2023, 10:21:34 PM
I think OwlGames should do better job screening their employees. You have been talking to some low paid intern that has no skin in the game what so ever, someone who would do absolute minimum when it comes to their responsibility. Because no casino or site dealing with that much money would take potential exploits lightly.

You have done more then enough for them but if the development team hears about this the person you talked with surely gets fired. If they shrug their shoulders i would avoid OwlGames. But i think they would take this seriously if the word got trough.
2643  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we now on Crypto bull run? on: January 21, 2023, 10:10:21 PM
Are we now on crypto bull run or this yet to be go down futher more down than 15500?
Depends how you look at it. Bears are definitely sweating and ton of shorts have been liquidated. Technicals are looking good and if you have been long enough in here, you can feel the hope being similar to other end of bears. Most of us being carefully optimistic, some being insanely optimistic. Obviously there are some permabears waiting for their turn to say they were right.

There will be more of them looking for shorts but that's going to be a dangerous game..

Answer to the question: no i don't think so EDIT: Yes, i think we are (that was a weird opposite typo). If not, this would be biggest trap ever if it crashed there now.
2644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH & DOT on: January 21, 2023, 09:36:26 PM
A few years ago, I sold PolkaDot at its own high point after steadily buying it.
From now on, I will continue to invest in PolkaDot and Ethereum again, what do you think about the future of these two coins?
Eth is solid, but can you share your thoughts why Polkadot would be?
I personally don't see parachains that interesting that i would want to put any money on speculating the value.
ETH on the other hand has the network effect, most talented developers working all sort of stuff in layer 2 solutions. It has lot to give in the future and i can see potential with it way more then most "eth killers". And i don't think most people see what kind of mountain they have to climb to be anything like eth is building. The code is a huge beast.
2645  Other / Politics & Society / Re: why would someone think of suicide? on: January 21, 2023, 09:25:32 PM
now there are many suicides, especially because the economy that is still unstable makes them even more stressed.

but actually, apart from stress, what makes someone think about ending their own life? What do you think
There are ton of reasons: Depression. Constant physical pain from illness that isn't going away, and just might get worse and kill you.
Mental health problems. Money problems, fear of losing everything and living in the streets. Fear of the enemy combatant torturing you. Losing everyone you love. Loneliness. Gender identity and pressure from society makes you seem like a failure. There's no meaning in life.

Honestly i could just go on, but it would get way darker. World is a scary place and not everyone has same cards to play it with. I choose not to do it because my life is pretty good and i would die anyway at one point and i can see no reason to speed it up. But i totally understand people who want to end theirs.
2646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Future of NFT on: January 21, 2023, 08:57:34 PM
I wouldn't be surprised because I still see NFT projects until now even though they are lesser than last year. They aren't completely dead yet like the ICOs. Big NFTs are also backed by rich individuals so they will support these NFTs until the end. These NFTs are mainly the ones that celebrities get because their reselling value is high.
-cut-
Well Initial Coin Offerings aren't really dead either, they just changed their form. When people first said they are over it was because they were all starting to be pointless scams.
People said that thank god that's over, never again, we are smarter now.

Then they started to talk about IEOs instead, which is exactly same thing as icos exept those tokens were sold in centralized exchanges, exchanges were supposed to have some quality control over them but in reality they didn't.

Then they started to sell them in decentralized exchanges and called them IDOs. Same thing again. Now they are calling them launchpads.

This is why it makes me smile a little bit when people say that NFTs are over. No they are not. If something they get regulated and change their shape a little and come back bigger then ever.
2647  Economy / Economics / Re: [Article] How ChatGPT Will Destabilize White-Collar Work on: January 21, 2023, 08:37:50 PM
I'm personally skeptical on the ability of machine learning/neural networks to fully replace humans. I think it's more likely that it will boost productivity by performing the more simple and routine tasks, but there will still be the need for human touch. People will lose jobs because now a professional will be able to do the work of 2 professionals, but AI won't do the work of all professionals.
Well it won't be replacing humans anytime soon but many jobs sure as hell are going to be replaced by AI. At the start there will be need for humans to oversee AI and work as a fail safe,
but this is not just about AI:s taking jobs. Every disruptive technology always makes some jobs obsolete and often some new jobs are invented because of it. I can remember people talking about blockchain taking out the middle man as a good thing. Being a middle man is someone's job as well.

-cut-
The fact is that a guaranteed basic income does not solve the main problem - people need not only to be fed, but also to give them the meaning of life.  This is an existential problem!
-cut-
Do you think that only paid jobs can give people meaning to life?
How about getting your meaning of life by being a decent human being and helping others?
By raising your kids and having more time with them?
Work on your emotional issues so you can be more stable and don't have as much issues with others.

There are ton of things in the field of self improvement you can work on if you don't have a job or other work to do.
2648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What happens if binance and tether goes down on: January 20, 2023, 10:07:56 PM
Just the FTX bankruptcy, many people has lost faith in crypto and vowed not to return again.
Binance is the largest exchange and Tether is the largest stable coin and the second highest coin after Bitcoin.
If it happens it will be a total disaster.

Exactly, ftx debacle was not easy on investors and the entire market, almost all investor was in a panic frenzy even though some may try hard not to show it. Now replace that scenario to binance and tether at the same time  Shocked it is definitely not worth imagining
Well it's worth imagining if you believe it's going to happen. Because imagine the money you would make by having your money ready in other exchanges that would accept high leverage shorting. I have some money in Bybit for just in case. I wouldn't even need highest possible leverage because everything would crash so much it would be hard not to make ton of money by shorting.

But you really need to be pessimist for the whole crypto scene to prepare fully for something like that and i am guessing those people don't have anything in crypto right now.
2649  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: January 20, 2023, 09:58:02 PM
You mean betting limits on slots increase with VIP rank on Stake? That's strange I wasn't aware about that. Can someone else confirm that? I don't understand what could be the purpose of putting lower limits on slots to lower ranked accounts. I just checked it and my max betting limit on Starlight Princess is $1000 ($1250 if I activate the Double winning chance feature actually). It's ten times your limits, that's not a small gap at all.
No wait, i am taking that back, i was wrong, i double checked and have $1000 bucks limit as well. I have no idea where i got that number from. First i thought i might have played with fun money, but there limit is $100. Maybe i accidentally clicked a wrong slot. Sorry, didn't mean to spread misinformation.

Edit: activated double change mode in fun money side. Thats where i got the $125 limit from Tongue
2650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is FTX going for a reopen? on: January 20, 2023, 09:43:55 PM
There is nothing that will guarantee its users that they will not do it again. Even if they have the shares already, these people will be watching the company all the time. Because it's sure not going to get users on board for countless of years. As long as FTT issue will come up every time a crypto scam is on the discussion, the reputation will wreck it over and over.
I understand that there would be some serious issues and it would be hard for them to regain any trust from investors. However they are under microscope so i seriously would doubt them trying anything like that again. Fool me once...

FTX is done. I wonder though why Binance didn't delist its token.
I was thinking about this too. My guess is that whales made ton of money by shorting it and delisting it midway might upset some whale clients. I would have shorted it in binance but for some reason i first didn't find it there and shorted it with a dollar that i got left in FTX for fun and got some pocket cash. I would have made serious money if i would have used any of my brain and focus on that seriously.

If you don't want to express your thoughts, simply answer with A or B.
Occasionally i am playing pvp games like poker. But turns out i am not build for it and get bored easily. So i would have to play several tables at once. But when i do play over 3 tables i get too distracted and it's harder to take breaks. I don't know what game you mean by race cars but monopoly should be fun for real money.

However in reality i stick to gambling in sports and slots so i would pick A. I've been thinking i should try out table card games against the house too but i am not so excited about the fact theres no change hitting jackpot.

2652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is FTX going for a reopen? on: January 20, 2023, 06:48:01 PM
Only way i can see them opening again would be something similar that bitfinex did. Offering company shares to users who lost money or tokens they are obliged to slowly buy back and burn. This could also help ftx as people who would take this offer would need to drop their legal demands.
2653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] KICKICO - PLATFORM FOR FUNDRAISING ON CRYPTOCURRENCY on: January 20, 2023, 01:58:02 PM
Hello I can't find how to convert my 888888 Kick tokens from ETH to your new BNB network. How do I do this?
The responsibility of the developers is to ensure the proper functioning of the tokens and their exchange in case of network change.
What is the situation?
I got them too ages ago. You supposedly needed to unfreeze them until before July 1st 2021 so your tokens are not worth anything. But it seemed like a scam anyway so i don't think it would have been possible to gain anything from those anyway. Just google 888888 Kick tokens and you get a lot of scam accusations. Just be glad you didn't fall for it before.
2654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Australia launches stablecoin on: January 20, 2023, 01:48:57 PM
But this isn't really CBDC, just a stable coin. I am guessing that's a pilot program and fails on the fact that it's on open blockchain and to fact that transactions aren't instant and front running creates problems. I am not sure about laws in Australia, but interests for confidential transactions and privacy should be same as in EU. Maybe this works for some specific use cases but it isn't really government adopting CBCD.

After a while of not playing Sword of Ares for a long time, I tried to play it again last night. I tried my luck by placing a $0.2 bet and buying the Buy Bonus feature, where I get 15 Free Spins.
And as it turned out, I could win as much as $39.21. Not bad for me Grin
I immediately withdrew the winnings and left the game so I wouldn't be tempted to continue playing. I feel lucky Grin
https://replay.pragmaticplay.net/f1KPjLNKdt
Congrats! That was fun just to watch. For some reason it's rewarding to watch others win as well.

My go to slots these days is sugar Rush from pragmatic play too, last time i played with 20 cents several times and won over $70 with one roll. It happened without hitting free rolls and got me by surprise. Is there a way to still share a game if it was over 40 rolls before?

I've updated the op with the Renec whitepaper, you can also find it here - https://renec.foundation/renec-whitepaper.pdf
Thanks for providing the whitepaper, it might take me a while to get trough it to respond in detail.
What comes to price, looks like it jumped. It was around $0.8 while ago. Well good for them. Still it's quite problematic to view it in dollars when the token is going to be volatile.

I'll definitely take a closer look at the project now, marketcap isn't even 100m so it's pretty cheap (if their fundamentals hold up).
2657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Future of NFT on: January 20, 2023, 12:57:27 PM
You mentioned the possibility of receiving counterfeit physical collectables, however they still aren't perfect copies, because some details from the original artpieces can't be reproduce, such as quality of the material, color tones and brightness when there are golden or silver details. So, the "smart contract" in this case are the physical characteristics of the product which can be evaluated by a specialist.

And to acquire that kind of collectable really makes sense, because it's a physical good, which shows physical differences between the copy and the original, while NFTs don't present any physical differences, if I take a print-screen of any of them and reproduce it in different places on the internet. I won't have the smart contract, but they will look exactly the same.
And that physical evaluation costs money. If you would be able to reproduce exact copies of the product, the value of physical copies would go down the drain.
You are talking in terms that doesn't apply to the nfts. Only scarcity and adoption matters. Compared to old ways when scarcity was represent only in a physical form doesn't really matter and isn't a good metter to make sense of it.

Let's talk about those pictures since everyone is obsessed about them. Yeah you can own the exact copy of the jpg and print it on your wall if you want. Who cares? Do it right now. But you can't sell it because no one will buy it, even when it looks exactly like original. Not even when you make nft out of it. That's digital scarcity. You either want to be a part of history of digital scarcity or not. It's really up to you.

I can't believe i ended up defending NFTs as i used to laugh at them in 2019 for the same exact reasons you told me.
2658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hasbulla's NFT collection on: January 19, 2023, 10:44:57 PM
Do you know Hasbulla Magomedov? What do you think about his NFT collection, does it have a future and is it ethical to use his image for that purpose?
Can't say i do know anything about Hasbulla. But people on generaö seem to be hoping that these kind of nft collections would just die out eventually.

But of course they don't. These are stupid and that's why they
get the spotlight and money. And as nft investors have a black belt in stupid. It's a win-win combo.

And at least these seem to have some work behind them and they are not just Midjourney images. (I am currently learning to love NFTs and shitcoins. Because If i can't beat them i must join them.)

just here to spit truth based on my research. Based of countless of hours playing on both casinos.

OP i don't think your sample size enough for making any statistical research and countless hours doesn't really mean anything. Only thing that means is you didn't count.

If i win a lottery and don't win in another lottery it doesn't mean that other lottery was better. It means i was very lucky no matter how many games i played. You can make a case that in average you should win 1/100 times or something like that. But probability doesn't work like that. You could win 10/100 times if you are lucky, or 0/2000 times if you are unlucky.
2660  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you ready to spend crypto when market is down on: January 19, 2023, 03:36:36 PM
Better decision to hold than spend crypto when the market is down if the market is down, it will go up again. The cryptocurrency sector is still in its infancy and the crypto asset market is in a state of extreme volatility, which is accompanied by price volatility. When prices rise investors are attracted to the sector and enter again and face huge losses as the market crashes. But some there are specific strategies that experienced investors use to make money from cryptocurrencies.
As a personal point of view where you have gains or losses it's a better decision. However markets need people to spend their crypto no matter where we are in the market cycle. Without those people there wouldn't be trading, people wouldn't be able to buy cheap crypto and markets wouldn't be healthy at all.

I find it funny how people are laughing to that man who first ordered pizza with bitcoin, when we owe him so much starting it all. People selling are as much relevant to markets and people buying. Sometimes just sellers (or bears) are in charge of the markets. That's just normal healthy part of a market cycle.
