2641  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [AUCTION] #1-5 of my silver coin on: February 07, 2017, 04:55:29 AM
I guess I kinda got a big update to announce.

I received the silver blanks a few days ago and I was pleasantly surprised that they where all ready rimmed and look better than I thought they would, I will post a photo of them in the OP. (of my selling thread)

The stamper was delayed heavily, should have only taken about a week to come to me, but I just received the tracking number for it and I should have it by friday SO on friday I will posting pictures of one finished set (without the engraving) and I expect these to be shipping the 24th the latest.

My time table right now is this:

Receive stamper on February 9th,
have coins stamped and ready to be sent to engraver on the 15th.
Receive coins back from engraver on the 22nd.

confused - are you selling in this thread - the auction - or raffles?

are you still willing to trade for livestock? if so I will need to know what your sexual intentions are towards my goat.

The auction thread is closed and locked and not happening because I sold 4 of the coins I was auctioning.

For the moment, all my raffles are still valid.. (Bitcoin penny/nastyfan coins/and hardbtc logo set.

I thought we agreed on in the last thread that I wanted the goat sliced thinly and it's horns/fur etc.

I sold the CI 10k bitcoins coins. I will update the OP later that the coins are sold

The OP is updated with everything. I will be sending some coins to be graded but I wont say which ;p

Can we guess which ones??
If we are right, can we win a prize??

Sure you can guess and I'll give a prize out if you buy one of my listed coins for the price that is listed

2648  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB Bitcoin by Cash deposit or interac e-mail at Par (CAD) on: February 06, 2017, 08:27:47 PM
I sent 0.08 btc and the user sent me the MG reference number about 7 minutes later which leads me to believe that they either were sitting at the store waiting or sent the MG before I sent the btc
2649  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling 30$ gold in Goldmoney on: February 06, 2017, 08:26:40 PM
How does goldmoney work? I do not have an account so what do I do if I want to buy the gold?
I had a bitgold account but I do not think they around anymore. They gave sign up bonus but took it away cause I was not active. Does it happen to this account if I register for an account with them?
I do not want to be in the same situation as with bitgold having any gold I have with them voided and taken away because I did not buy any more gold with them.
Bitgold is Goldmoney, they just changed name.
Now, I think they don't close accounts for no reason like this.
If interested about the gold, please contact me.

You should mention that you cannot send it to anyone in the USA

And I have actually lost 4 packages/letters in the mail this month so I bet it would get lost.

Seriously?! That's a LOT of lost packages. Are you sure you're mailing and/or labeling them correctly? I ship a lot of packages, and I'm not sure we lost ANY package.

Regards,
Chris

Well 1 was sent to me, never arrived, called and complained to company blah blah blah they will resend it after a "search" inquiry is done.

I got one package sent back to me by the mail recovery center and literally, all I got back was

It looks like someone literally cut the box...

I sent a tracked letter a few towns over that never arrived.

and finally I sent some a big box of candy that never made it.

The next package I ship will be insured

Well ONE coin sold, the lealana #300, that was my favorite coin Sad

Maybe something will sell today
2654  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Sol Noctis with CoA and box on: February 05, 2017, 03:54:27 PM
The only way it would be worth it for the buyer at that price would be if they got it graded because you can buy it for $10 cheaper on ebay

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sol-Noctis-2014-0-01-BTC-Bitcoin-Binary-Eagle-Proof-Silver-Coin-/162121992594?hash=item25bf394992:g:~VkAAOSwu4BVwkYK

however a few weeks ago there was 5+ being sold for $75 but it seems someone snatched those up.

If the buyer gets it graded and does not want the case Ill buy the case!!

Well, I am open to offers of course. I would be willing to toss in grading if someone buys @ .11BTC

What about trades? Ill trade you my Sol+COA+messed up dented box +btc for yours.

Which did kind of get dented when you sent it to me Sad

If you really want just the box I will send you one so long as you pay the shipping.

Yes I really just want the box awesome. Ill pm you for the payment address

2656  Other / Meta / Re: Should bumping a post only to lock it afterward be permitted? on: February 05, 2017, 06:48:29 AM
IMO, it should be clear that a locked thread for an "open" offer potentially is an indication of a scammer and additional caution should be taken. This however will not always be the case.

Thebutterzone is a great example of this, his selling threads are always locked but everything he is selling is clearly listed with all of the information needed in the OP. Locking his threads only to bump them prevents un-nessary signature campaign posters.
2657  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [RAFFLE] NastyFans 1 OZ silver gilt MS69+1 OZ silver (PRICE LOWERED) on: February 05, 2017, 05:56:55 AM
Its my alt if you couldnt tell, I should update the signature saying that.

That is not true because you can remove a coin from the slab, send it back and get a different grade completely. There are several users that routinely send coins and get regraded to get a higher grade.  If you take it out of its case it is no longer protected against the elements.

You're having a very hard time convincing me since I can't believe a $10 coin (serpcoin DIY2 for example) is now worth $50-60 simply because it was sent in for grading.

The above quote you basically say:
1. Remove the coin from slab and get regraded for different grade than initially received
2. Doing #1 will get you a better grade (most likely due to perceived experience)
3. Doing #1 is dangerous and not recommended due to the elements (no elements in my work space luckily!)

You didn't pose any argument for why someone would not want to remove the coin from the slab which is what I believe you were aiming for.  Wink

I think it depends on the grade, nevertheless I am under the assumption that graded bitcoin pennys are in the range of $30-$35,,, would you agree? They are originally $5? if you buy them single right? but more like 1-2 if you buy in bulk.
2658  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [RAFFLE] NastyFans 1 OZ silver gilt MS69+1 OZ silver (PRICE LOWERED) on: February 05, 2017, 05:31:14 AM
i would like to offer 0.155 for them both

Your offer could have been sent via PM. But it is denied.

Lets look at the costs of purchasing these coins

$90 for the one OZ silver
$110 for the one OZ gilt
$10 shipping
$20 grading fee
~$20 for shipping to ANACS
.04 BTC = $40

= $290 before you add any value because of the grade that it received, and you offered about half of that.

I think I have had higher lowball offers via PM.

Talk about nickel and diming, eh?

In my eyes the grading + shipping costs are up to the buyer whether they want to include those in their pricing.  You can ask for that value back but I wouldn't expect it.

So you are saying getting your coins graded doesnt add any value to them? That is like saying there is no difference in price in a cas brass 1 btc MS65 and a cas brass 1 btc MS 68

Nope, just saying that the actual ANACS grading and shipping costs were on you and can't be expected to be passed on.  The graded value is now in the coin since even removed from the slab the coin is still an MS69 if it doesn't receive any wear.  In my eyes the "package" isn't worth $50 extra since that's what it cost you to ship/grade it.  If anything, I'd say you've solidified the original value of the coin.

That was odd, I thought I was responding to "killyou73".   Cheesy
