1661  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Auction] Buyer Funded #713 1/4 OZ silver 1/10th lealana on: January 19, 2018, 12:17:42 PM

Providing your bid is higher than the reserve that was set per the OP.

sorry im new. What is reserve mean??

"""Reserve Price

Some auctions have a Reserve Price. A Reserve Price is a hidden minimum price that the seller is willing to accept for an item.  In a Reserve Price auction, the seller is only obligated to sell the item once the bid amount meets or exceeds the Reserve Price.  A seller can lower, but cannot raise, the Reserve Price.

All Reserve Price auctions are clearly noted with a message next to the current or opening price.  This message will either say "Reserve not met" or "Reserve met".  As in all our auctions, all bids are binding, but an item will only sell to the highest bidder if the Reserve Price has been met.  If the Reserve Price is not met, a seller will have the option of extending a Second Chance Offer to the highest bidder, which gives the highest bidder an option to purchase the unit at a price equal to his or her maximum bid amount.

When bidding in a Reserve Price auction, you should bid as you would in any of our auctions, by entering the maximum amount you're willing to pay for an item.  Our auction system will automatically bid on your behalf in the smallest increment possible to keep you in the lead, up to your maximum amount.  The only exception is that if your maximum bid is the first to meet or exceed the Reserve Price, our auction system will initially enter your bid in the smallest increment possible so that your bid meets the Reserve Price. """"

1662  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Auction] Lealana Physical Bitcoin 0.1BTC Funded "Buyer Funded" No. 685 on: January 19, 2018, 12:16:45 PM
.1006

MJ escrow.

Is this a win or are we looking at another 24 hours of drama?

"Auction ends Wednesday 17th 12.00 Midnight GMT"

Sorry it maybe wasn't entirely clear - Should have said Wednesday 17th 23.59 or something.

I don't want to use Escrow - I've been on here since 2013. See my trust and feedback for re-assurance.

Can you sign a message from an address from 2013 since you don't wanna use escrow
1663  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [SURVIVOR MULTI RAFFLE] Art, Silver, Satori + BTC! 0/64 Spots Left on: January 18, 2018, 11:19:49 PM
Can I be the official coinmaker's advisor? Or maybe VP of coinmaking? Or master coin-roller? Or if those spots are taken, then I suppose I'll take a minimum wage job as the house doodler. :/

Regards,
Me

Hey I like how TMAN, Yogg, and LC (all lowballers and haters), are giving me a hard time.

Hhampuz if you do not trust this newbie (I certainly don't), please let me know before tomorrow morning PST. I think that's fair to give you time to think, but as you know the group buy is round' the corner and speed is why I am buying at a premium.

Lowballing hater?  You are welcome to fly into Sofia to come see my collection. I'll get my driver to collect you from the airport if you want

Does that offer apply to everyone? I would certainly take you up upon it

anyone with half a brain can see that satori king is writing Gs alt too btw.

LOL Chi!  That is so true. And that is why we need one of our own to do our own grading.

Before I became a Crypto coin collector I also collected stamps for 30 years.

In the stamp collecting hobby we also have to main stamp certification services in the USA. The Philatelic Foundation and The American Philaelic Society.

Two very important certification services. However they were not the only ones. You also had many individual persons highly respected in the stamp community

that specialized in certain countries or area of Philately. Believe it or not, the established two sought out their advice when it came to certifying stamps that fell within their expertise

The same can apply to us! We need one of our own who is highly respected in this forum and has the knowledge to start grading our coins.

I will not mention names, but I have reached out to one that I can think can be the bearer of this torch! And I am sure many in this community have the same person in mind.

I think we might be blazing our minds out trying to figure out who that might be

Is there a hidden reserve? Will you be bidding yourself from your own account? Are the rules above firm or will you decide to change anything in the middle of the auction as your previous actions proved you are capable of?

Not derailing but as there are many news members here they need to know if your shady previous actions.

For anyone not aware... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1399824.0;all. In my eyes this is the act of a scumbag.... anyone bidding here should be aware

No reserve price.

I forgot to make this thread self-moderated, so you strike. Smiley

What so you wanted to hide your previous bad practice from potential buyers?? Yet again trying to pull the wool over the eyes of your target audience?  WOW class act again anduck

I would like this thread to be self-moderated to avoid trolls like you from polluting it. Please keep your whatever whine you have in the correct section (which is not Marketplace Collectibles). Also, for others wondering why TMAN is on a vendetta against me, please read https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2535142.msg25936463#msg25936463.

I literally cannot believe that you self bid on an auction, but from the SLACK group to here I see those wont stop. Everyone should really grow up

But my question is, will you self bid on this?
1675  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Bitcoin Guy BLAST OFF, limited to 100 on: December 16, 2017, 05:17:24 PM
I am just wondering, you didn't state if you designed this yourself can you clarify?
1676  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Make your own Christmas Snowman wallet! on: December 16, 2017, 05:16:49 PM
Was Kialara a scammer when he added to a $100 bill and sold it?
Did Kialara try to mislead the people buying it to believe that he made the $100 bill? You're comparing apples and oranges.

I thought it was clear I engraved a private key on a Frosty the Snowman round.  That's literally what I said.  If you misunderstood, perhaps it is because your lack of knowledge about coins couldn't recognize that the design wasn't engraved, or maybe you don't collect enough to have recognized this round.  In any event, it was not my intention to mislead, and if the winning bidder wasn't clear on what he was bidding on, I'm happy to offer it to another bidder who understood what they were bidding on.  I don't need $500 and certainly wouldn't scam for it.

You clearly lied by omission. Who the fuck knew a snowman round existed? You just admitted to lying to everyone btw, because you have previously claimed to have engraved the design. Your auction was left unclear on purpose, otherwise you should have said "I DID NOT DESIGN THIS", but now you are claiming you did (in Pm's to me) and now here, you are claiming you didn't. So which is it Trump? You can't lie both ways dude. This is literally cracking me up right now. " perhaps it is because your lack of knowledge about coins couldn't recognize that the design wasn't engraved" - so which is it, you engraved it or you didn't?

Edit - You also just abused the trust system (Again). Good one! Cheesy

Edit2 -

I don't understand how you don't understand. He did engrave the round, he engraved it with the public and private key.

This wallet is an engraved Frosty the Snowman Merry Christmas 1oz .999 Silver Round.

He literally gave the model/make of the round, why should he have to say I did not design this? Because you cannot recognize the name of mass produced coin? If he did it on a coin that you knew you would have no qualms correct?
1677  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Auction: Limited 1500 Polymer Gerneric Bitcoin Papper Wallet - Bitcoin Suisse AG on: December 15, 2017, 08:49:31 PM
I just scanned the bar code and it is not loaded. Balance zero.

Where does it say that its loaded? Those where sold unloaded.

This is a Series One certificate some of which were sold unloaded. You can tell by the generic bitcoin symbol without an amount stated. Mintage was 1500 of the unloaded and cost was ten CHF. Total number made including the loaded notes was 9999. Good luck with the auction!

Correct with the 9999. But if it cost 10 CHF back in 2014, I have no idea. I picked this wallet up last week here in Switzerland and paid a lot more than 10 CHF.
Also if you are able to show me one of these wallets selling lower than 0.015 BTC, I will lower the starting bid to that price  Wink

These wallets never come up for sale, I sold a peeled one for about $50 if I remember right
1678  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Auction: Limited 1500 Polymer Gerneric Bitcoin Papper Wallet - Bitcoin Suisse AG on: December 15, 2017, 08:27:47 PM
Great piece, love the Bitcoin Suisse certificates Smiley.

A few questions..

1) This is never taken out of it's plastic sleeve which means we can assume it is still loaded?
2) "I reserve the right to cancel the auction if the minimum bid is not met" - Do you mean the starting bid or do you have a reserve and won't let it go if it does not get up to that?

Thanks.

In 2014 Bitcoin Suisse AG released 5 Wallets:

100 Milli Bitcoin limited to 4000 pieces

500 Milli Bitcoin limited to 1999 pieces

1 Bitcoin limited to 2000 pieces

10 Bitcoin limited to 500 pieces

These 4 wallets were loaded with the amounts above.

They also released 1500 pieces of the generic wallets which where NOT loaded. And the wallet up for auction is one of these.

Obviously I will be send the polymer paper wallet to "minerjones" and he can then confirm to the winner of the auction that the wallet is still in original plastic sleeve and that everything is as stated by me.

Seeing that I don't now if the BTC price will go up or down in the next 10 days, I set myself a reserve in swiss francs which I would like to have for me to part with this wallet.

Any more questions? Feel free to ask.

Don't you think that hidden reserve auctions are a waste of time and space?

Also an auction with a hidden reserve with no prove is not fair

I was asking if it was loaded or not as it does not state it in the OP. It does however say that it has never been out of it's plastic sleeve so one could assume that it would be loaded, then again I don't know enough about these notes I guess.

I didn't even see your post, I was speaking too BNM, but why would you need to take it out of the sleeve to load it? Its never been out of the plastic sleeve I don't think that has any bearing on whether it is loaded or not
