1. hashrate on the board as stated by marto74 (technobit) is 40-65gh. pierred's machine as stated was short 1 board and is presumably being shipped by AMT - all according to pierred. is marto lying? is pierred lying?
Marto74 has nothing to do with this. AMT is selling a 192 GH/s miner that will never hash at 192 GH/s. That is pure FRAUD. |

What makes you think getting money into China is hard? That is what China does. They run huge trade surpluses. Just with the US it's like 300 B USD every year. |

Jim (or Josh?) was helpful and apologized: apparently I should have had 4 boards and not 3, he's shipping a 4th one asap. Frankly I think these guys are going as fast as they can and are working their ass off, but it's still early days. I'd rather have a miner with a few things to figure out than no miner with a great documentation. I manage an IT organization, I should be able to figure it out (here's hoping...). It also seems that when connected to fast computer, we can get 45GH/s per board, my laptop is sucky.
Where are you going to put the 4th board? From the pics you posted, there doesn't appear to be any drive bays. So you'll get between 160 and 180 GH/s out of 4 boards. That's still not the 192 GH/s you paid for. |

It's a real shame these are overpriced. They're great systems. But prices need to go down over time, not up.

Oups, i calculated for April, not March. So a early april delivery and 20% increase might get you 30-35 btc. A more realistic projections of 30% increase and march delivery will get you 12-16 btc. A June delivery and 30% increase will get you 2-4 btc..
Never ever calculate a shipping date as arriving early. The only thing KnC will deliver in March are more Jupiters. Even June is optimistic for Neptunes. |

lol, even at a difficulty of 2.75billion a 3th machine will bring in over .5btc a day. that's a very pessimistic increase in difficulty and you are telling me a neptune wont mine 20btc? what math did you fail?
And that's your failure. The difficulty isn't going to cap at 2.75B. It's going far beyond that before even a single Neptune ever turns on. |
