To everyone that was already cleared by me: I don't have a google account that's why I can't update the list. As I have always statet I'm adding comments (you can spot them. they are those tiny orange marks in corners). That's it. The final list is being compiled but that will take weeks or maybe even months (we're only human and we have to go through thousands of TX. It's a miracle Kooream has still not lost it  ) so plz be patient. Everyone will get their stake and if problems were to arise again we'll deal with them again. Even the cases of people that don't look at the list who are marked problematic will be solved even if they don't come here. There will be a public auditing where everyone can make their case. 2 things for you to do: 1. BE PATIENT ! 2. BE FREAKING PATIENT ! Thank you

Between my NEM stake & a 4 million pile of Reddcoin I'm sitting on I will be putting in my 30 day notice at work Friday.
You don't know what the future holds. I'm still going to continue starving myself and looking for work, even Nem if gives a good return. People plz don't go over board. I know things are really active in here and theres a lot going on but don't quit your jobs ! Let's say every stakeholder will get 1 Mio NEM (it'll probl. be more but we don't have an exact number jet) Say NEM were to hit 1 Cent really soon (which is somewhat optimistic imho) that would mean every stakeholder would own 10k USD. That's not enough to live ! At least not for long. Also you have to figure out how to get it into fiat (not everything at once people NEM is supposed to survive remember ?) and then onto your bank account in a way so the state won't rob you (I'm talking about taxes). Calm your horses |

If all 3k stakeholders would be as invested as the people in this thread seem to be then we wouldn't need any more funds to get attention.
3k people can do a lot of stuff together.
Let's try to organize soomething. Set up sort of a tree. With different branches of commitment. A short example and explanation being something like this (just the start of an idea, add to it or say bad, I have no ego) Like one branch can be 5 min a week of work (make 1 post about something spreading the word somewhere) another branch can be 20 min a week (go look for 20 minutes for people misrepresenting NEM) Again these are just examples guys Word spreading through pms, of our tasks. say 300 people of the 3000 want to be involved in some way with the "task tree" Then we do the tree thing where we have the main branch contacts 5 people, and those 5 people contact 5 people, and those 5 contact 5. etc. you get the idea The point is we are creating a community based organiztion. i think alot of people would sign up for this and we could leverage the power of numbers we just need a sign up list and someone to make the tree ? I think that's very complicated. I'd like everyone to chip in as much as they can and that should be that. Maybe that's just me. I loled f*ing hard at "Word spreading through pms". I took me a minute of hysterical laughter until I got that you mean private messages xD |

Coins still have to be sent around so people can forge. ( i think )
Would it be a good idea for all stakeholders to say donate and pass a parcel of coins around to the next stakeholder on the list. Would this help liquidity?
I believe part of the POI model will include a "timer" of sorts on the coins. You can only forge with your current coins if you have had them for a certain amount of time, (To prevent fraud). UP will be giving out more information soon. I am no expert but wouldn't that just encourage hoarding? It sure would and it's the first time I hear this timer thing in regards to POI but I might have missed it. Even if there is a timer though there are plenty of other factors that will discourage hoarding. |

when will this be addressed? thanks. @Utopian: The TX seems legit so please give him a "Y". The timstamps however do not correlate so he should be check for duplicate hash during auditing of thread 2. Why do the time stamps not correlate? I'm in GMT + 1 and forum time is in GMT, so I actually posted 20 mins after the transaction, no? Anyway, I can also upload a screen shot if that would be of any help. Thanks. It's not necessary. We have to check for a duplicate hash anyway for every user so the timestamp thing was just proforma. You'll be fine and if someone took your hash then it's time for a screenshot . Thanks. |

What do we stand forI have been thinking a lot about NEM recently, I admit I was lured by the promise of a million coin to join NEM, who wasnt . UP you would make an expert fisherman ; you hooked us with great skill. After the end of the fundraising I half expected never to hear from Utopian Future again ( I am a born skeptic) but the guy was stupid enough not to run  and came back and posted this great website www.ournem.com . It felt strange to me, maybe because its not everyday one gets to see a person trying to keep his word. I have no illusions, Nem could fail and fail miserably. We are like donkeys in a derby race pitched against thoroughbred bitcoin and NXT studs. But, does it really matter? Bitcoin could have been great, it could have made the world a better place, but, as always, the big boys took over. Here, I see a core group genuinely trying to do good, its our second chance to get it right. Its our chance to succeed where bitcoin failed. Fellow stakeholders, we all could be part of something special. This is our opportunity to help ourselves and should we succeed, to do our bit for humanity. Does it really matter if we fail? We would have atleast tried and not just watched. All on board with most things but Bitcoin did not fail. You can't call such a tremednous accomplishment a failure. |

i could do that, got a lot of time and also manage several fb "like" pages. Thats great zoata87, our movement needs everyone of us to be like you. I wish you the best of luck. i'm still workin at my firm, i will pm utopianfuture later to get some clarity about the fb thing. when thats done i think the fb page will be on in the next 24 hours. i really love that huge movement goin on NEM now the idea with fb page sounds great if theres some news about it or any needed help, let us know. its amazing to see how many dedicated members NEM community has yeah, i also think its a good way to get more people on the nem train the mass of users at fb makes it possible to get a lot of more people into the whole "crypto-thing". just for now, there is only btt and twitter. i think fb will kick up popularity of nem. We wouldn't be the first crypto on FB. CGB has 15k likes on FB but is only around 40th on marketcap.com so Fb might get you likes but I doubt the actual affect on the currency or movement would be very noticeable. Don't want to discourage anyone just throwing around info |

The problem is being a programmer isn't necessarily enough. You have to have a working understanding of how bitcoin actually works to build something is supposed to be following it. Bitcoin looks easy if you look at it from a users perspective but the protocoll is very complex and it can take days before you can get your first successfull transaction out with your own code. I'm a programmer (which doesn't tell you anything about my skill level just that I get payed by a company to do it ) but I just don't have the necessary level of understanding of the whole blockchain technology to contribute to NEM. /edit: Yeah...I'm a Jr. Member now |
