Haven't gotten through much of the most recent Senate Intelligence report personally so not sure how accurate this article is, but it doesn't look good.

"Trump’s Business Partners Allegedly Involved In Human Trafficking, Mafia Matters, Probable Money Laundering"

A new report from the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence offers a damning portrait of the people Donald Trump chose as his partners for potential projects in Russia. They include individuals with alleged connections to the mob, to Vladimir Putin and to human trafficking.

The group would comprise an extraordinary list of associates for any international businessman, let alone for the sitting president of the United States.

Arrested on a boat... like a bad Hollywood cliche. Wasn't Bannon a film producer at some point or am I mixing him up with some other sketchy trumpster?

A boat owned by a Chinese billionaire.

Imagine if Obamas former chief strategist or someone connected to the Clintons or Bidens campaign was arrested for fraud involving a charity where people donated their money to support Obama care while aboard a yacht owned by a Chinese billionaire...what a great day that would be for TECSHARE.

Haven't been active in troll box for years now so I only know what I'm reading in this thread, but if I had to guess I'd say higherhighs convinced you guys that he had power that he didn't during a troll war.  Unless there's evidence other than players being muted and claims by HH, don't take it out on swc management.  If it's any consolation, it seems like he probably was hoping to get some sort of special privileges and that probably won't be happening now.

As much as I like PvP games they're difficult to pull off since it could take time to find another person that's going to accept your bet and with that it could be less profitable for the casino.
Lottery games are pretty easy to pull off, usually. You can even make it non-raffle-style, typical to a regular match-n lotto game.

You just simply divide the pay denominations to a percentage of the pool, across all winning tickets. Could easily incorporate a small house edge to the game and it would be reasonable considering how actual lottery tickets have an insane edge. With that in mind, it would totally be reasonable to add some small initial prize and a minimum purchase limit or ticket cost.

Example: flat 'registration fee' of $3 for purchasing tickets that cost $1 each; initial prize fund of $25.

Large enough sites like Stake will have people willing to PvP in those 'winner gets all' lotto games, but let's have some creativity.

Works well for Horse racing already. (parimutuel betting)

Only if they bet small. 100$ safe return is not the biggest promo in my eyes. I m betting 1k/game so I could care less about this promo. You should make it more attractive for higher stakes players, not only for the small ones.
This doesn't make you look cool, it makes you look like a tool.

No. I am saying WAP is far worse than other musicians you cite. WAP is also one of the most popular songs today and Biden today is choosing to associate with her.

What makes WAP far worse than Kid Rocks 'Balls in your mouth'?  They're both sending the same message.

Do you think the fact he did an interview with a musician that has offensive language in their music is an indication that he will be a bad president, or are you just concerned that because he did the interview there will be more offensive music created.

You also, along with other leftists, seem to have "forgotten" to address the rest of my post:
I would rather that Biden voters consider Planned Parenthood, and the reasons it was founded. The founder of PP, Margaret Sanger wanted to reduce the black population via abortions....continued
Not really interested in getting into an abortion debate, but I consider it an essential medical procedure that every woman should have access to.  I don't think that the fact that in the past it was used to reduce population is relevant.

I'm finding it a bit difficult to worry about these people losing their investment due to random climate variations. They are literally building and selling without such concerns. Now, why should we care?

ur argument that people buying luxury homes in maldives is evidence that scientists are wrong about the country being at risk of disappearing 80 years from now is beyond stupid

when u build a house without a foundation exposed to the ocean you are really lucky if u get 15 or 20 years out of it

obv an incel like u wouldnt care about future generations since reproducing isnt an option but most ppl do give a shit that family is able to live a happy life after they are gone

Not sure why this thread devolved into personal attacks for some reason. Not really something that we try to promote doing in this area of Bitcointalk. Say what ya want, but ya can get called out for it.

Back to the subject though: It is a pretty fair point to bring up the fact that rich people continue to buy up oceanfront homes while preaching about how all of that is going to be underwater soon.

A fair criticism to that line of thought is -- well yes, soon could mean 100-200 years though and no one buying a home is going to care about that sort of timeline if they just want to enjoy it.

It could be a fair point if spendulus was arguing in good faith, but he isn't.  Agree the personal attacks don't help anything.

Steve Bannon got arrested today for scamming people that thought they were donating money to the border wall.

That will be a fun investigation to read about.

Apparently he spent weeks out in the middle of the ocean then was arrested when he arrived on the coast. Fuck him, honestly. Dude's always been a grifter.
I'm kind of surprised he got caught, always thought of him as super intelligent.  Guess he covers his crime as sloppy as he looks.

WAP is an especially raunchy song. Worse than either of anything Kid Rock or West has written.

It seems like you're going out of your way to defend Trump for the same thing that Biden is being criticized of.

'Balls in Your Mouth' and 'Wet Ass Pussy' are both intentionally offensive for the sake of being offensive and they're both about objectifying the opposite sex while performing various sex acts.  I feel like an old man typing this.

To be fair, Kid Rock does draw the line when he feels a finger near his booty crack, while Cardi B seems to really enjoy having a nose going up and down her booty crack 'like a credit card'
Quote
Next to cutie started rubbing my back
She put her finger right between my booty crack
So I grabbed her wrist quick and said hold up slut
"Ain't Nobody sticking nothing in my butt"
Now right then I knew I had a ho and a half
And all that I could do is sit back and laugh
Stare at the ceiling thinking about
This chick I just met's got my balls in her mouth

So I guess it's not unfair to say her song is more raunchy....but come on, they're both raunchy as hell and Biden did an interview over Zoom with Cardi B while Trump has Kid Rock over for long weekends at Maralago for 36 holes and who knows what?

My only point really is that it's just terribly clear that stupid issues like rude lyrics written by the woman interviewing him don't really matter, you're just looking for something, anything, to use as an example of him being bad.  And if even more ironically, right now I'm saying to you the same thing that republicans have been saying to Democrats for the past 4 years.  The only difference is Biden has basically kept his head down and avoided controversy.

Yes, he is live solving.
Thanks.

If he's clicking the buttons and the solver is running on a second machine it seems very unlikely they'd be able to prove it and even if they could I don't think there's any real solution.  Banning him would effectively just reduce his rakeback (which is almost nothing in OFC) and make it more difficult for other players to avoid playing him on a new account.

Higherhighs is definitely a weird hire, given that he is all but confirmed cheating at their OFCp tables. I wonder if the SWC team thinks he helped or hindered the site.

Seems like you have a personal vendetta but I'll bite in case I'm wrong.  How is he all but confirmed cheating?  Solver? collusion?

Yes, he is live solving.

I wonder if SWC could answer these three questions to alleviate some concerns about security of funds and integrity of the site:

1) Has ownership of SWC recently changed?
2) Do you not consider it a conflict of interest that higherhighs is playing against players he is actively involved in muting/banning?
3) Do you consider the PR you have gotten recently better than before and do you anticipate it changing in the future?

Thanks in advance.

They might not respond since you're mostly trolling them, but I assume the answers are probably something like:

1- You'll never know who owns the site unless they don't mind going to prison.
2- No. He just reports players to management, kind of like you are right now.
3- They've had better and worse PR before now and do not anticipate it staying the way it is right now forever.

I won't blame Joe Biden for this because he doesn't know what's going on and he just listens to his campaign staffers, but who on Joe Biden's campaign thought it was a good idea to do an interview with Cardi B?

https://www.cnn.com/2020/08/17/politics/cardi-b-joe-biden-voter-outreach/index.html

And it's not like she admitted to drugging men and robbing them or has gang affiliation with the bloods or anything.
Anyone considering to vote for Biden should read the lyrics of her song WEX and consider if you want to vote for someone who is associating with someone like Cardi B.

I think you mean WAP (wet ass pussy), it's a song that's over the top offensive about women using men as objects to perform oral sex on them.

It's pretty crazy to see Trump supporters (not singling you out QS, there are lots) criticizing Biden for doing an interview with someone who has offensive, not politically correct lyrics.  I thought you guys hated the whole idea of being politically correct.

And it's not like Biden and Cardi B are actually pals.

Kid Rock and Trump are though:

Balls in your Mouth
by Kid Rock
Code:
Cruising through town in my jacked up truck
Eyes open 'cause I'm scopin for a big butt slut
One that I can take straight back to my house
And have suck my dick and put my balls in her mouth
Now get, get with it looked across the street
Seen a slimmy in a skirt bopping to the beat
So I capped up my forty threw it under my seat
Rolled up on the freak and I started to speak
But before I could she go grabbed my dick
Licked her lips and started talking that porno shit
She said "look here I know our kid rock"
Then whispered in my ear "I want to swallow your cock"
Well blow me up then blow me down
'Cause I think I just found the biggest freak in town
And now I can't wait to get her back to my house
Set her on her knees and put my balls in her mouth
Balls in your mouth
Balls in your mouth
"you want my balls in your mouth?"
Back to my crib with no delay
Big grin on my grill and not much to say
Except hey yo bitch how's about
I drop my drawers and put my ballis in your mouth?
Then it was like straight out of a porn
She dropped to her knees and started blowing my horn
And after that without no doubt
She opened up wide and put my balls in her mouth
Next to cutie started rubbing my back
She put her finger right between my booty crack
So I grabbed her wrist quick and said hold up slut
"Ain't Nobody sticking nothing in my butt"
Now right then I knew I had a ho and a half
And all that I could do is sit back and laugh
Stare at the ceiling thinking about
This chick I just met's got my balls in her mouth

He's also said some really nice things about Kanye West.

Here are some of his lyrics:

Quote
Fuck you and your Hampton house/ I’ll f--k your Hampton spouse/ Came on her Hampton blouse/ And in her Hampton mouth

Quote
Gave her a handshake only for my man’s sake/ She in her birthday suit cause of the damn cake/ Now there’s crumbs all over the damn place/ And she want me to come all over her damn face

Quote
In that pussy so deep I could have drowned twice/ Rose gold Jesus piece with the brown ice/ Eating good, vegetarian with the brown rice/ Girls kissing girls, cause it's hot, right?/ But unless they use a strap-on then they not dykes

Quote
Now if I fuck this model/ And she just bleached her asshle/ And I get bleach on my T-shirt/ I’mma feel like an asshole

So what gives?

Okay so "imminent danger of the island going under in decades" doesn't translate into lower real estate values?

How about you explain why ten inches higher water would erase the Maldives "in decades"? Your words, not mine.

I guess so. Younger people do not vote as often but it seems like the Biden campaign was scrapping the bottom of the barrel by going for Cardi B. She has zero involvement in politics.

She supported Bernie and did a couple interviews with him, read an excerpt of that Michael Wolf book with Hillary Clinton, has been criticizing/insulting Trump and republicans pretty regularly for years and I think she said she's thinking about running for congress some day (she's offensive, pisses people off and has a shady past, so obviously that could never happen).

2675  Other / Politics & Society / Re: REEEEE: PussyGate, a Collection of Trump Investigations on: August 19, 2020, 04:32:49 AM

They also found that the chairman of the Trump campaign frequently discussed a 'peace plan' that would benefit Russia greatly in the Ukraine/Russia disagreement.

Oh, wow. Trump was trying to end a war and achieve peace? He should be immediately impeached and tried for treason.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it looks like Trump might be colluding with Israel and the UAE based on your standards, via the peace agreement that Trump brokered.

This is a good example of why you should read the Mueller report yourself rather than relying on media reports and sound bytes from politicians.

While the words 'peace plan' were used, what they were really discussing was allowing Russia (our adversary) to take over Eastern Ukraine (our ally).

Quote
Manafort also twice met Kilimnik in the United States during the campaign period and
conveyed campaign information. The second meeting took place on August 2, 2016, in New York
City. Kilimnik requested the meeting to deliver in person a message from former Ukrainian
President Viktor Yanukovych, who was then living in Russia. The message was about a peace
plan for Ukraine that Manafort has since acknowledged was a “backdoor” means for Russia to
control eastern Ukraine. Several months later, after the presidential election, Kilimnik wrote an
email to Manafort expressing the view—which Manafort later said he shared—that the plan’s
success would require U.S. support to succeed: “all that is required to start the process is a very
minor ‘wink’ (or slight push) from [Donald Trump].”
Page 130: https://www.justice.gov/storage/report.pdf

I hope you can acknowledge that all of what you are saying is innuendo. In fact, it is normal for Presidential campaigns to discuss foreign policy with various foreign governments.

What is not normal is for a presidential campaign to pay for foreign disinformation, nor is it normal for a presidential campaign to spy on its rival campaign.

It's not innuendo. What I'm saying is in both the Mueller report and the Senate Intelligence report that came out today.  You can read it for yourself: https://www.intelligence.senate.gov/sites/default/files/documents/report_volume5.pdf

Quote
Manafort hired and worked increasingly closely with a Russian national, Konstantin
Kilimnik. Kilimnik is a Russian intelligence officer.

Quote
Prior to joining the Trump Campaign in March 2016 and continuing throughout his
time 6n the Campaign, Manafort directly and indirectly communicated with Kilimnik, Deripaska,
and the pro-Russian oligarchs in Ukraine. On numerous occasions, Manafort sought to secretly
share internal Campaign information with Kilimnik.

Quote
The Committee found that Manafort's presence on the Campaign at;td proximity to
Trump created opportunities for Russian intelligence services to exert influence over, and
acquire confidential information on, the Trump Campaign. Taken as a whole, Manafort's highlevel access and willingness to share information with individuals closely affiliated with the
Russian intelligence services, particularly Kilimnik and associates of Oleg Deripaska,
represented a grave counterintelligence threat.

This is all from the Senate Report, chaired by Marco Rubio.

I did unintentionally misrepresent one thing though - I claimed the report said Kilimnik 'likely' was involved with the DNC hack and leak, the report actually says 'The Committee obtained some information suggesting Kilimnik may have been connected to the GRU's hack and leak operation targeting the 2016 U.S. election.'  My bad.

It's tedious having to go back over what I've already read to explain it, will you please just read it for yourself before making any more claims about what it contains?  You don't have to read the whole thing, but at the very least check out what I laid out for you in this post.  There's really no other way to objectively understand what's in the report.
2676  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 2020 Democrats on: August 19, 2020, 01:12:49 AM
We're still decades away from island nations disappearing due to global warming.  I don't think anyone expected nations to be wiped out by 2020 and the article clearly didn't make that claim.
So sea level is rising about a foot every ten years, then?

Much less.  3.3mm per year (which converts to less than 1.5 inches per decade if the rate stayed constant)
....
So why not just say "thousands of years" instead of "decades"?

The Maldives could be gone by 2100.

global cooling is the big threat.
lol ok.  moving on.

I thought I only had 10 years to move away from the coast? Obama even is trying to help people who need to leave the coast by buying a house on the water. This is why Michelle Obama is so oppressed, she is being forced to live in a multimillion dollar mansion on the water that will flood in a dozen years, while trying to satisfy her obligations under a Netflix deal estimated to be worth 9 figures, all for doing nothing other than divide the country apart over 8 years.
Come on now, you are better than this.

Really?

If that's so scary a future the property values in the Maldives should reflect it. There should be some really great deals down there.

Hmm....

$6.5M? 15.0M?

I guess not.

“We can say, without any hesitation, that the Committee found absolutely no evidence that then Candidate Donald Trump or his campaign colluded with the Russian government to meddle in the 2016 election”
-Senator Marco Rubio, Chairmen, Senate Intelligence Committee

I could post what the ranking Democrat said about the report, but we can just read for ourselves what the report says.

They found that the chairman of the Trump campaign was secretly sharing sensitive internal campaign data with a Russian intelligence officer.

They also found that the chairman of the Trump campaign frequently discussed a 'peace plan' that would benefit Russia greatly in the Ukraine/Russia disagreement.

They also found that the Russian Intelligence officer that Trumps campaign chairman was secretly sharing sensitive campaign data with was likely directly involved in the hacking of the DNC and leaking of emails right before the election.

There is tons more...

All of these things happened.  Saying 'no collusion' over and over again is a distraction attempt.
2679  Other / Politics & Society / Re: REEEEE: PussyGate, a Collection of Trump Investigations on: August 18, 2020, 07:37:48 PM
They found no evidence that the Trump Campaign collided or conspired with the Russian government.

Despite Trump repeating that over and over again, it's just not true. They did.  What they (Mueller) didn't find was enough evidence that Trump himself was involved or aware of what was going on to charge him with a crime.  It seems highly likely that he was though.
Andrew Weissman, who was likely the one actually running the investigation, was very aggressive in pursuing prosecutions. Further the Mueller report was full of innuendo.

I can assure you that if there was evidence of collusion, Trump would have been promptly impeached for it. Instead the Democrats waited until someone from intelligence agencies were willing to work with Democrats to impeach Trump over a perfect phone call.

Let me know if you decide to read it.

You should really just read the Mueller report for yourself.  It's very complicated, which is why I think Trump has been able to be so effective and convincing people to just take his word and not bother reading it themselves,  but I'll walk you through part of it:

https://www.justice.gov/storage/report.pdf
(the table of contents is clickable)

Read the section on Paul Manafort. (p. 129-145 of the report)  You gotta read the whole section.

Note the date of his second meeting with Kilimnik in NYC

Google Trumps statements on Crimea from just before that meeting. (They're also in the report somewhere)

Read Trumps written response to question IV. It's from an appendix, page 436 of the pdf.

Keep in mind Mueller report referred to Kilimnik as someone 'with ties to Russia' and todays Republican lead Senate Intel report confirms he is a Russian intelligence officer.
