2661  Economy / Gambling / Re: ADVANTAGES OF CRYPTO BUSINESS on: July 30, 2020, 01:57:47 PM
Are you talking about advantages of crypto business or advantages of using wager-gun services?
First of all, the real advantage of founding of crypto business is the less number of competitors in this field and there is some possibilities that competitors may not exist, depends on country and innovation/creative profile of business.
But on another hand it's high responsibility, one hack and if funds from wallet are stolen, more likely they are gone forever. Security is what matters here the most and you make it wrong by saying that crypto business is just more secure than any other, no.
Nothing has barriers and crypto has nothing to there. Has visa/mastercard, bank transactions any barriers? No.
Also running a crypto business doesn't automatically mean that you will attract customers, it's even hard in this field because you have to popularize it unlike already popular services.

I think i am moving from IT to agriculture (as i got some land ... ) ,there is no way my IT biz will survive like this ...

What technologies are you working with? IT is very broad and anecdotally IT seems to be one of the sectors that's least affected by the pandemic. If you're in events or tourism, then you're fucked, but IT seems to be fine for the most part.
IT is not only the least affected in a bad way but in reality Covid has really positive effects on it, especially on web development. During this pandemic, a lot of companies were trying to move on online services and a lot of companies made new websites, apps, softwares and so on. Demand on web development was very high and I see a lot of vacancies posted asking for IT developers. But idk what's happening around to this guy, I remember he created a thread Business / private sector is dead and had the same dissatisfaction around IT (including blockchain development too).

Agriculture business is great too, especially Bio/Organic Products as you have less competition in this field. But it needs good time and investment.
2663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how to win at casino on: July 29, 2020, 11:56:50 PM
hi guys how does one win when playing in casino? is there a strategy that u use in order to win, or do u just randomly make decisions when you play. also how do u determine when to cash out or deposit more money So f
First of all you need to understand basics of mathematics and then think about it. Casinos aren't meant to be a charity departments and organisations. Casinos need to function and as a business, their main aim is profit. So, to profit, you need to increase winning chances on your side and don't let players abuse your bankroll with 50/50 chances. That's where house edge shines and profits casino mathematically on a long term. The more you gamble, the less luckier you become (e.i. unlucky). So, on long term your chances decrease while casinos' increase. Every game is built on mathematics and mathematics can't be wrong cause it has never been, you can't make 1+1 to be 5.

Btw https://yolodice.com/#faq has some good explanations that may be beneficial for not only you but other users too.
2664  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some gamblers have been arrestes in Bangladesh for money laundering through btc on: July 29, 2020, 11:31:50 PM
OP we aren't risking. What about if you own supermarket and a person which in reality is murderer, buys something and pays you with money that he got for murder. Will police charge you? No. Same applies to bitcoins. See the amount of bitcoins that move in dark web and then think about how many people would have been in touch with those funds. You aren't a problem, for them, problem is that person who was laundering and if you are clear in this task, then you can feel safe.

What do you mean in illegal? Then why do you own it? Will you be punished for owning bitcoin? Is it the same as owning banned substances? Or why are you afraid? Do police raids your computers with the fear and cast doubt in it? No??? Then no problem.
2665  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: "Signature Campaign" does work for marketing? on: July 29, 2020, 10:47:05 PM
We have just released our game for a few weeks and have received many invitations to help us hold the "Signature Campaign" campaign.
Honestly! Is the "Signature Campaign" does work for marketing? Huh
Have a look on old and current/active signature campaigns. Yeah, without doubt signature campaign works but you need a good manager and participants for it to succeed. Just see, Bitsler was running sig campaign for 3 years and paid $430 050. What do you think, will someone pay half a million usd in something for years that doesn't work? Even insane millionaire wouldn't do that.
Check Fortunejack, they have been running sig campaign from 2014 till 2020 (stopped recently) and now they occasional run it, when they need it. They aren't crazy to pay tons of money in it (were paying 0.04 a week + had great bonuses, in overall 0.2 btc in month per participant for years).
Check chipmixer, they are paying more than one thousand dollars to each participants monthly. What do you think, is there any way to promote bitcoin mixer rather than this forum? If sig campaign wasn't worth, would they pay this much and continue to still run it and even add new participants?
Also check cryptogames, yolodice and etc.
Check qtum signature campaign, they run the most massive and highest paying sig campaign on this forum for some weeks and got decent results.

Conclusion: It does work when it's done in a right way. If you want to pay some bucks and get result, then - no.

Hi !

I have an issue with 1xBit. I searched but I did not see anyone with the same issue.

I sent 23.05 mBTC (0.02305 BTC) to the account n°196506345 on Friday, June 5th morning.
The deposit address was 3PFuM7VdBVkRKXxo9sTwDSrZWNabXJyHe9
The transaction has hundreds of confirmations (hash: f74ab51d47ec04585fd3a04d36f6fdc5233ae1527994436238304ed427055872)

But nothing appears on the account !!!

Naturally I asked support-en@1x-bit.com to credit the sum to the account or to send me back the sum. And they immediately redirected me towards security@1x-bit.com.
After a dozen of e-mails from Friday to Sunday, they answered to my last e-mail, on Sunday evening, where I didn't put my account number in the subject line and threatened to post my issue on forums : "The bookmaker reserves the right to refuse to accept a bet from any individual without giving a reason."

I told them this answer is completely unrelated to my case and insisted thrice. But no more answer from them.

Do you know of a way to take pertinent actions against 1xBit ? They clearly stole my coins there. I have screenshots and a video screenrecord to support the facts.

When you type 1xbit in google, there are a lot of websites:
1. 1xbit.com
2. 1x-bit.mobi (users think it's their mobile version?)
3. 1xbitapp.com
4. 1xbit.icu
and so on...

The only urls that belongs to 1xbit casino is following: 1. 1xbit.com and 2. 1x-bit.com
Despite the fact that I don't like 1xbit and it's pretty much known that this is a scam casino and has very bad reputation there, I would say that this is the mistake from your side and there is no reason to blame 1xbit in this case.
These Russian scammers use different website copies for trapping the victims, and they repeat their actions in all possible ways. Never ever trust them, they have taken my $1000 a year ago. Proving scam is the easiest part of the story but the problem is to sue them. Charging these scammers will lead to scandal for much same geography based bookmakers, mafia controls the bunch of similar bookies.
I wouldn't say that what you say can't be correct, we can't exclude anything but the most curious thing for me is that 1xbit has table in Evolution Gaming's studio and they pay money regularly for that.
Nothing to talk about 1xbit, as everyone knows this company is owned by 1xbet and this last one has a lot of dedicated tables in evolution gaming's studios and play decent money. There are both, russian and english speaking tables. Lastly we created another biggest studio for them but closed  it because of pandemic situation, right now some of tables are still open and imagine what? 1xbet plans to expand...
2668  Economy / Economics / Re: Korea proposes 20% tax on crypto trading starting 2021 on: July 22, 2020, 11:09:14 PM
I think 20% tax is high considering that a lot of countries are still enjoying free tax from crypto trading. But maybe, there are benefits among SKoreans?? Watching how SKoreans here will react to this news...
What kind of benefits? Do you really think government will take this money in order to help you? Leave those 20% to me and that's a help from you. Import/local production = taxed, wages = taxed, everything is double, triple and even more taxed and that's very bad.
The republic of Georgia decided to not tax not only bitcoin/crypto trading, also don't tax mining too and the reason was to let people earn some money because unemployment is a big problem there.
Hope other governments will do the same, let people earn money and don't make them poor.

Ehat about to ask in this thread too despite the fact that seems very inactive?
Canadian board - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=183337.0
Also don't you guys have a some sort of groups in facebook where there are mostly Canadians from Montreal? Or groups where there are mostly Canadian miners? I usually use this kind of trick when I have questions similar of you.
As users above me already mentioned, it really looks legit but double check always worths.
Ask on reddit too on some subboards. Don't you have a friend in Montreal that may be able to visit them?
2670  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: is it difficult to get a partner in cryptocurrency deals? on: July 22, 2020, 10:07:32 PM
If you are just a random guy who has idea and needs partner with funds and resources to release this idea and don't know people around you well that work in this field, tnhen I think it will be almost impossible for you to get a partner.
You can meet people in local cryptocurrency meetups ad conferences, it's a good opportunity to make a friend and establish good connections. You need a team at least. Startup funders are your best friends in this situation. Have a right plan, find resources, a team that has experience and has an ability to release your idea, be confident and make sure investor(s) that it's better to become your partner than someone elses'.

I do not get why these casinos always love adding slots. Interestingly people do end up playing there, both online and offline. Go to any casino in the world and you will see that there are tons of people playing on the slots, even my wife just plays slots and nothing else whenever we go there, it is crazy that people would play something so mechanical when there are so many stuff that feels a lot smoother.

I personally like to play on blackjack at real places but in the crypto casino world I just can't stop myself from changing games like every hour, I want to play all of them, it is a bliss that there are so many games, I do play slots too but not only them, I want more games in every casino, I want 100 different type of games, I just like switching them up every hour or so.
Everyone has different taste. Personally I find slots to be very entertaining, especially when it has a lot of features and different possibilities of in, that's where you get the most fun.
Live blackjack tables are one of the most amazing experiences too (nothing to talk about real life casinos). Play what you enjoy, not everyone likes soccer or basketball, others may prefer american football or etc.

And bitsler did amazing job, tasted their slots and while I was scared by that ox and bear, seems pretty one. Is this slot fully created by bitsler's developers? If yes, then great.
But still, I think it's better to contact slot providers and offer your clients a lot of slots or I guess bitsler seems to be a good in it and can work in this way.
2672  Economy / Economics / Re: Business / private sector is dead on: July 22, 2020, 09:24:39 PM
Well first off what country are you even referring to? This is a global forum. Also, you're right, business is hurting all around there is no question about that.  My own career has come under great fire of late, people aren't able to transact like normal in large part.

However, you're money is not all going to go away in the stock market.  You're wrong, that's simply not going to happen.  With earnings reports for Quarter 2 continue to roll in we could see a massive drop in markets, but markets always come back.  If they dont? Well, then we've got the apocalypse.

It does not matter what country ...the same situation is global ...don't look at the numbers in the papers and news , look at life around you ... life on tv is different then life in reality ...

stock markets is nothing without  business ... it's just fake money ...if people don't buy goods / services ...the stock market is worthless.
Where do you live, really? Where I live, the situation is following: Everyone says that corona affected them and are poor right now but life around you seems different: Dozens of people in clubs, restaurants are sometimes out of delivery necause of high demand,  supermarkets and hypermarkets are busy as hell like in past. Food and everything become very expensive but still it feels like there was no corona (well, musts are strictly required). And I want to mention that most of the business was absolutely stopped for 3 months and ten days ago were GYMs open, this is the only business that suffers in my country right now.
And online business? Hell, there was huge demand on it, online business is booming along with developers getting rich in current situation.
2673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which website do you usually go to get your news and casino reviews? on: July 22, 2020, 09:09:53 PM
Hi,

I started playing in crypto casinos for a couple months now, and I just became curious about where all the expert crypto gamblers usually get your news and info.

I mainly use Best Bitcoin Casino, Crypto Gambling News, and of course here,
but are there any other sites that you guys recommend?
I don't understand at all what does crypto gambler means but for poker news, I usually visit cardplayer.com
If I want to read football related news, I usually visit different websites, mostly websites that are dedicated to each football clubs. On another hand, local casinos/bookmakers have great websites to read news around sports.
If you want to see news that are related to certain casinos promotions and etc, then register here and subscribe to their newslatter or there are some casinos with dedicated subdomains for news like blog.bitsler.com
Another best way is to visit forums owned by casinos like forum.primedice.com and etc.
2674  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India may again ban cryptocurrency on: July 22, 2020, 07:52:43 PM
Don't understand what's the purpose of such actions and decisions. Are they afraid that someone will use cryptocurrencies for illegal purposes? Well, then why don't they ban selling of house knives? Someone can kill someone by it but it's sold legally without requiring any document and psychological situation. Such a silly movements without any logical explanations. After all, this pandemic situation affected indian population badly and instead of giving people opportunity to earn some money, they kill all ways to exist.
2675  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoins dominance coming to an end? on: July 22, 2020, 06:51:57 PM
As time goes, only the strongest ones survive and I wouldn't say that bitcoin is losing it's dominance, no, it's opposite. It's clear for everyone what happened during this pandemic and what was the expectations around bitcoin and what we got finally. In such a bad situation bitcoin didn't lose it's price and keeps to be stable between 9K-10K usd range. And if someone thinks bitcoin is losing dominance, then I would love to remind them that bitcoin is still mainstream and altcoins follow bitcoin's price, they won't rise significantly before bitcoin.
2676  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do only crypto payments cost customers? on: July 22, 2020, 06:24:19 PM
I don’t know why some comments talk about paying manually, it can be done automatically every month without having to pay manually.
Why not solve the problem by issuing a balance in BTC and USD?

The aspect that you should focus on is fees and add many payment options available.
If the service is BTC-related, make it unique.

And may I ask, how? If you create a service provider like coingate, bitpay and allow users to top up their account with, for example $100 and then connect this account to spotify, netflix, etc and then automatically make payments from already filled account, then yeah but otherwise, how? How will I be able to automatically pay on given adress like scheduled? Also if someone has to do what o_e_l_e_o said in first sentence, then I guess it looks less comfortable, yeah? And what people want? Comfort, so I don't think such way will work for profit purposes and won't attract customers.
2677  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will NEVER reach it's ATH anymore. on: July 22, 2020, 06:10:13 PM
People should have much more healthy approach to cryptocurrencies than "get rich quick" and should use bitcoin even if it was going to take 100 years to break ATH again.

Only then the whole system makes sense, otherwise, even if Bitcoin was not meant to be a Ponzi Scheme and obviously is not a Ponzi Scheme, it is actually approached by many "investors" as Ponzi Scheme and they hope to be at the bottom of it. That is simply wrong.

If different crypto news stopped speculating about the price all the time it would be beneficial for the quality of the whole crypto sphere.
If people stopped being obsessed by the price, it would be good too.

This is an honest call to everyone to start treating this great invention as it's meant to be - digital money. Including crypto news websites and youtubers who think that putting higher expected bitcoin price in the title will bring more clicks (and sadly, it usually does).

One says 1 million USD in 1 year, another says 10 million USD and so on... stop it, please. You are doing it wrong.
Yeah, people should have more healthy approaches regarding to crypto and bitcoin but you know what most of them want? Profit and that's logical but the worst here is that bitcoin turned into business and whales are here to get most out of it. Binance, Bitmain and other companies look bitcoin like a business and they try to be leaders here. Bitcoin was good in back, a lot of things changed recently, some for good and some for worse. The good thing is that people who use bitcoin for illegal purposes, are caught easily and bad, I already said that above.
Btw bitcoin's price rise means demand on it has increased and that's good.
2678  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: July 22, 2020, 05:14:39 PM
As I see, the companies that bought license from bustabit are those who are active on bitcointalk and care about responses from bitcointalk users and about their reputation on this forum. Otherwise, no one cares about that.
That only companies that have licensed bustabit pay attention to their reputation here in the forum is of course not true, but I'm sure you didn't mean it that way Wink

I partly meant that cause this is reality, some really buy their script to just appear good here and that's normal and personally I appreciate that at some point. I hate that nowadays some casinos that don't run crypto business and aren't in touch with bitcointalk, use bustabit code without paying them.

Our forum has quite some weight in the cryptogambling area.  If you google for platforms you will quickly find posts and threads here.  So accusations or a bad image will lead directly to the fact that potential customers will jump off immediately.  So it is definitely worthwhile to be active for a platform here and to keep a positive image.
Yeah, it has weight and that's good. Because of this reason, a lot of users got funds that they deserved ( I mean scam accusations against some casinos, without them users' funds were just lost).

RHavar, you were original author of the Bustabit v1 code right? Did you ever consider trying to apply for a patent or any form of intellectual property?

That's a good question and I was really interested in that. Seems, his answer is following:
It was maybe a mistake, but bustabit never tried to control the game-concept (i.e. there's no patents or anything like that), just a copyright on the actual code that bustabit uses.
2679  Economy / Economics / Re: How long will it take banks to phase out physical cash completely? on: July 22, 2020, 04:47:48 PM
59 percent of global population has access to internet and according to this website we achieved this percentage in 25 years.
Here you can see the chart:

Numbers down below are up to 80 because there was a mixture of early and monthly statistics.

Btw seems there is a significant steady rise in number of internet users but still I think it will take decades to move population into cashless society, personally I don't like this fact cause it will be super easy to manipulate everything as you wish online. And after that, there will be no need of ATMs, right? Idk, that may happen or may not in near future, very hard to predict.
