2681  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which type of address is better and why? on: March 28, 2020, 02:53:53 AM
There are more transactions can be compressed with Segwit, per block, but to say which type of address is better for users, it can not be answered directly. I meant the answer depends on each user and it should be called as personalized answer for users' interests that in turn depend on platforms they choose to use.

Some platforms accept Segwit while some others don't but there are more and more platforms accept Segwit and more wallets support that type of address.

Take a look at campaigns run on the forum, some accept all types, some require Legacy only, and some others require Segwit only.
2682  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trezor fake Chrome extension on: March 28, 2020, 02:24:15 AM
People tend to create opportunities to steal their money by being too lazy. I don't mention about Trezor Chrome extension but I would like to expand the warning more widely. If one has been in crypto for too long, they would have known that there are many phishing attacks, and fake extensions (fake extensions of Myetherwallet for instance).

Moreover, bookmark can not protect people completely if their computers are infected with hazardous threats.

Stay being careful with any extentions, not relying on any tools and stay safe in crypto.

I think you should check out about new hantaviruse as your hope could blew off !
All you want to know about hantavirus that killed a man in China this week
Thank you for that news.
I read some news about it yesterday. Many peple worry that they may break out into pandemics. Others think this is a big purge on mankind  Roll Eyes It also started from China  Roll Eyes

The image is just for fun, but who knows what happens next  Grin
Then, we will call it as a Chinese hantavirus, as the ex-standards for virus and disease name-calling before some changes a few years ago (that does not allow or avoid to use location, nation to name viruses and diseases. Personally, I don't have any issues with ex-name-calling method. It help us instantly to know where they originally started. In the other words, I support the name-calling from Mr. Trump.

Chinese coronavirus and Chinese hanta virus.

Do you know where to get figures for total number of tests have been made in the USA. ?

Trump tweeted that the USA. have tested (within one week) more than what South Korea did within 3 - 4 weeks. I believe it but I am curious about the source of that data.

Let's consider a good effects from the Corona Virus Spamming epidemic on the forum. How I call it as a good thing. Many of them will end with plagiarism and the forum will be cleaner with less spammers.

For the others who don't plagiarise, they will stop it when the pandemic is contained globally. That is not too far from now. Depends on each nation, from epidemic peak, it takes around 1 month to stabilize and next 2 months to bring nearly all things back to normal. I guess about 4 to 6 months from now, the world will become safer and the Coronavirus spam epidemic on the forum will stop. Just my hope.

In the meantime, I am waiting to see more ban appeals from plagiarism.
2685  Other / Meta / Re: [TIPS] to avoid plagiarism on: March 27, 2020, 02:46:18 AM
The ban in mid of 2019 went away for a long time ago, but it is worthy to read and avoid permanent bans from your plagiarism. Maybe it is the first time you know about plagiarism and related bans on the forum. It's time to read and stay safe.
2686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 26, 2020, 11:12:49 AM
Looks like Bundesliga will get suspended at least until April 30th. There are 9 rounds left to be played, plus the relegation matches and the cup matches. Next season is set to start July 31st for 2. Bundesliga and August 21st for Bundesliga. Counting from May on, this is 15 weeks until the new season starts for 2. Bundesliga. The players should be well rested, so no problem with playing double fixture weeks until the end of the season.

For 2. Bundesliga the regular season could be finished by the end of May then. There are no teams left in cup matches from this league, so each team has two months of preparation until the new season starts (apart from the team that plays relegation to Bundesliga).

For Bundesliga, it's a little bit more difficult, since you have the cup matches and EL/CL, but the new season starts 3 weeks later. So this should be fine as well; all competitions should be finished by middle/end of June.

If, which is quite possible, suspension is extended for more weeks, there is still the possibility to postpone the start of next season into September/October and get rid of the winter break, which will save another 4 weeks.

And if nothing helps, I could think of a 17-round-season for 2020/2021, which will start end of the year then.
All of those plans are too far, for now, when the epidemic in Germany and the pandemic on the globle have still been very seriously.

All of those solutions are only potential ones and they totally depends on how the epidemic in Germany will go next weeks. The massive testing campaign in Germany help to temporarily reduce the CFR (case fatality ratio) at the nation, like what we see in South Korea but over time the total number of death tolls will increase. The lower CFR figure (compares to figures of Italy or Spain) makes us feel Germany is safer than the rest nations in Europe but it might be wrong. I have a belief that the epidemic in Germany will end sooner and that will help both Bundesliga and 2 (even months). Bundesliga to finish the season with a little delay. Nevertheless, I am not sure about the severity of death toll at the end in the nation.

Looks like we are seeing more bets with coronavirus lockdown I guess? Even chat seems more active than usual:)
That's probably the effect of the pandemic which seems the volume of people online from different popular casinos has increased. Because of the lockdown in certain parts, it made everyone to have more time to spend at home.
Globally, people spend more time at home. Around one-third of the world has stayed at their home due to lockdowns. They spend more time on the Internet and in spare time, they spend more time for online entertainments, that include gambling. The pandemic has bad impacts on global economy but there are companies and branches will take advantage of it to flourish. Online gambling industry and online platforms are part of it.

The pandemic triggers unofficial race among online casinos to release new games, and attract new users as well as try to maintain loyal users.

Let's begin with the Writing a welcome message from theymos (the forum's admin). It is the first topic you have to begin with.

Read it entirely and you will see theymos allocates a special section for how to get earnings on the forum. His advice is very useful for new users. I am surprising to see it has not yet been a pinned topic. I hope that topic will be pinned ASAP.
2689  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake OKeX - Don't be fooled!!! on: March 25, 2020, 11:52:27 AM
Everything related to scam in my opinion must be on Scam Accusations. I dont think a beginner & help board is the right board for your thread. I hope you can consider transferring the thread to the board of Scam Accusations.
OP made a good work, a scam accusation, more exactly. I agree with your advice to move the topic to Scam Accusation board.

However, if OP have intention to make a guide with detail steps to investigate and find scam exchanges (details on how he find that scam exchange), and add more guide steps in OP, the topic can be posted in the Beginners & Help board.

I know that someone already broke the news about Paolo Maldini testing positive with the Coronavirus but I just want to say that this might be one of the worst things that happened to Paolo. Paolo had his days numbered in Milan because he have sided with Boban rather than Gadiz and the owners so this was supposed to be his last season as the director of football for the team. He'll be fired by his only team when he was a player and just to make things worst his own heir to Milan, Daniele Maldini, also tested positive with the virus. As a Milan fan this is really a devastating news for me and now I'm really hoping for Italy's situation not to get worst anymore.
They are young enough and strong enough to fight against the virus and win at the ends but I am really worry about the other members of Paolo Maldini. They are elderly and if they get infected, it will be not too good. I also wish best things to come for the Italy in the next one month. Just a several days ago, I read a news that there are about 5 thousands medical staffs in Italy have been infected by the virus due to the serious lack of PPEs. That's the worst thing in the pandemic, massive infected patients and the number of medical staffs have declined due to infections.

~ @Betwrong while I’m optimistic about bitcoin prices, but don’t you think that $11500 - $12000 is bit unrealistic even for bitcoins?.

Of course it is unlikely for BTC to appear in this range by the end of this month.
Bitcoin might reach that range in the first two weeks of April. And for the upcoming halving, I have my feelings that bitcoin will hit and retest the range at $14k - $15k very soon.

Bitcoin price can drop, but it can also rise because of the pandemic, if people realize that central banks are printing money like crazy currently, and that a big devaluation of fiat currencies is on its way.
Bitcoin was born from the second bail-out of banks, in 2009. Today, we have heard about the third bail-out of banks. If the bail-out comes true, we will see bitcoin blossom from the mud and jealous of bank systems around the world.

^  I heard Dybala caught it too.  Sucks...  Just shows how anybody could get it anytime no matter how fit you are.  Stay safe out there guys.
By now, Juventus has three players were infected with the virus: Rugani (the first one), Matuidi and Dybala. Not only Dybala but also  his girlfriend were infected too. Fortunately, they are currently well, and self-isolated at their home. The good news is test result for CR7 is negative. I know result can change next few days or weeks with another retest but for now, CR7 is fine.

Stay inside, obey the lockdown, and being safe out there guys. I pray for the Italy, you all, and the world.

I call them as scam exchanges. Fake or real, it does not matter. They can use fake domain names (with punny codes, etc.) or start with entirely new domain names. Nevertheless, they scam their customers, steal money and run away. That's all of their ultimate purposes from setting up and running their exchanges.

I agree, many of the times the winner is not the most wagered but the least thought on, that is what bitcoin is. I have also said before that shows what bitcoin acts like, not just in a wagering train of thought but imagine it from the investor/trader perspective.
If the story is who waggers most will be the winner, all the time, there will no waggerers join Wagger contest. Because if you wagger 1 BTC, there are many others who wagger more, and so on. It will turn to be a game of whales and biggest whale will win it. Fortunately, it is not a story we have here.

We have something that is impossible to imagine even what the price would be in 10 days, that is seriously difficult to invest or trade with. Who the hell trades something that they have zero clue what the price would be in 10 days? Nobody does that, no wall street, no UK guys, no institution ever trades something that they would have zero idea in 10 days. Sure sometimes they turn out wrong as well but not commonly, not all the time, in bitcoin this doesn't happen time to time, it happens all the time.
Anyway, predictions and bets make people go crazy. They love such things and they keep doing that from time to time. We can do it base on price chart, fractals, and more things but as always they are predictions and bet. There is no guarentee that our predictions or bets will be right and help we win.

It is true that the Coronavirus pandemic impacted negatively on the whole world, and online casinos are not exceptions. They rely on real sport matches and tournaments that mostly have been in postpone mode.
For the moment, online gambling is the rest thing to do as kind of entertainment, besides tradings.

How about virtual sports?

Long time no see, guys, hope you are good, and hope STRAT will revive in next bullish market, now that we have STRAT fiat pairs in binance, we will have a bright future.
Having fiat pairs on a big exchange like Binance is so good for STRAT. During past few months, the crypto market has more waves in fiat pairs and investors can get profits from fiat pairs. That is better than pair with the denomination is Bitcoin, mostly down over past few months.

With the coming halving of bitcoin, I am waiting to see more good movements and more actively tradings on market, and STRAT will be able to take off.

This seems to be the best practice, If you want to participate in any signature campaigns, you need to buy a membership. If you are good enough, you get much more than what you have invested, if not, the forum benefits and your account is gone.
There are very little bounties or campaigns accept Copper member with same payrates as of Member rank. The most advantage user can have from the Copper membership is a right to post and display images. They can wear signature as same as member rank but it does not make sense if they only buy that membership to be qualified for campaigns or bounties (not too many nowadays).
