1701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Apeswap (Banana) Speculation Thread on: October 26, 2021, 11:56:19 PM
Sure, if your point is to buy something and make a quick return and get out, then you could consider ape as a good thing.
I don't mean about investment especially long term investment. Long term investments are for Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB. For other projects, I have to consider carefully and ApeSwap is not in my list. Even Solana, DOT, I have to consider carefully too. I agree with you.

Quote
However, I am talking about the overall situation ape is in right now and that doesn't look like it is something I could be behind.
Long term investment should be done with very strong projects and I only see such strength in Bitcoin, Ethereum and BNB. Solana and DOT are too young to say they are strong.

Quote
If something is 80% down then it could go up a little bit, and that's where you will make a profit, but in one year it will still not be good, in three years it won't be even in people's minds, in five years it will be long gone.
ApeSwap is down more than 80% from its all time high and I see chance to get profit with it. Especially I believe there is another altcoin season with that Apeswap can join the run. It is not a too bad project or has too low volume. It is not bad enough to be excluded from the coming altcoin season.

Quote
Why would I put money into things like that? I love putting my money into things that will be easily 10x in five years, including bitcoin which I believe will be 10x or close to that in five years.
I agree with you. Bitcoin is first for long term. Next, I will choose Ethereum and BNB.
1702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Hotbit exchange, is it safe and good to trade here? on: October 25, 2021, 02:36:51 PM
Hotbit crypto exchange shuts down for maintenance after attempted hack. Hotbit exchange was hacked in April, 6 months ago but they did came back shortly after a few weeks.

They also spent their resources to fix their code, improve security and in the progress, they are very transparent with public updates for community. They are legit exchange and their reaction after the hack shows that they are improving.

You can trust the exchange but don't store all your money on any exchange, not only on Hotbit. Not your keys, not your coins.

1703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Apeswap (Banana) Speculation Thread on: October 25, 2021, 02:19:27 PM
When a currency is 80% down from the ATH price

This is why I believe that there is a good reason that we should be letting apeswap go now, it is just not something that can survive, it will be gone.
80% down from ATH is good enough for me to do my entry. I don't expect Apeswap to make a new all time high. A rally to half of its ATH is good enough for me to take profit. I don't expect more for my investment in ApeSwap.

Survive or not, it is the future and ApeSwap has good trading volume that makes it harder to won't survive. Survive and grow up in price are different missions for Apeswap.
1704  Economy / Speculation / Re: Elon Musk Sees Bitcoin Price Reaching $69,000 on: October 25, 2021, 02:14:37 PM

Elon Musk is a genius to hype the market with his tweets.

However, $69k is too low price for Bitcoin. It will have price above $100k from now to 2024. If you invest in Bitcoin with price under $20k, you can consider to take profit if you are fearful that Bitcoin won't be able to achieve price above $69k.

I recommend to take profit 80% of your Bitcoin if you are fearful like that, for 20% Bitcoin, you can wait for price above $100k. If Bitcoin fails to get it, you can use your money from 80% part to DCA in the future. Good enough.
1705  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think October will be for alts? on: October 24, 2021, 06:43:06 AM
October won't be the season for altcoins. They need to see Bitcoin season and after Bitcoin completes its season, it will be the turn for altcoins and their season.

Bitcoin altcoin season index. The index shows that it is a Bitcoin season. Altcoins have to wait for theirs but if you are holding altcoins, you can keep holding them.
1706  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are we coming to the 5th wave? on: October 24, 2021, 06:24:05 AM
In Elliot wave, the wave 5 is very risky, it is FOMO or mania phase. We did not have a FOMO wave for this bull run and if the Elliot wave theory is correct for this bull run, we will see a big correction after that. In history of Bitcoin, it is corrected -80% from ATHs of big bull runs.

One thing to think further, Bitcoin is in the super year cycle and if this theory is true, we will see another wave 5 of Elliot wave in the super year cycle. That means 2021 is not the end of the super cycle.
1707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance promoting Shiba Inu on: October 23, 2021, 04:51:56 PM
Months ago, Binance listed SHIB after they saw that meme coin had too high trading volume on other exchanges. I don't know what is the first exchange listed SHIB but I firstly known about that coin on Gate.io.

CZ admitted that Binance can not ignore coins that can bring huge trading volume that will help them to earn too much in trading fee from customers. Before SHIB, Binance listed SUSHI and when their developers rugged the pull, CZ admitted that investors have to accept risk and Binance have to care of traffic and income.

I don't think crypto investors who join the market since Jan 2021 or in 2020 did not know about SHIB. So the listing news and the banner on Binance US. are not what are actually new for crypto investors.
1708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: October 23, 2021, 04:46:12 PM
https://whattonews.ru/ethereum-fees/
How much did you spend on Ethereum fees
See how much ETH was spent on commissions from your wallet.
Connect to the site using metamask and you will see all the data. I don't want to show my details, but I am upset with what I saw Smiley
Transaction fee on Ethereum network is painful and what exchange charges user with withdrawal fee is more painful.

I don't want to use Ethereum when I withdraw my crypto fund from exchanges. If I move my crypto fund between exchanges, I will use Solana or TRON and if I want to reshuffle my portfolio back to Ethereum, I can do it with spot trading. It will help me to save so much transaction fee than I move my fund directly by Ethereum.
1709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: October 23, 2021, 04:16:55 PM
We asked many times for more exchange options in Marketplace and hope that Digital Gold team will listen to us as always. This is truly a problem and 50$-100$ or even more in transaction fees makes GOLD token really hard to use from economical standpoint, especially for small or even medium players. Especially, that concurrence doesn't sleep and there are many copycats already available on multiple chains and exchanges.
The transaction fee on Ethereum network is not fixed and it is not fault from GOLD team but if they can, I agree with your suggestion because nowadays, in crypto there are more blockchains on which we can enjoy very cheap transaction fees.

TRON, Solana and more. The transaction fee on Solana is free at least now if you withdraw from exchanges.

Quote
Of course we all are here because we trust Digital Gold team and they proven to be trustworthy and professional at least few times already, still GOLD token needs to be easy and cheap to exchange, if not, this will for sure slower the adoption and userbase.
They said multiple times that Ethereum blockchain will be their priority. If Ethereum can not fix fee issues, the GOLD team will consider to build and integrate other blockchain for GOLD marketplace. Is it a time for that, I don't know.

However, I agree that integrate one or two more chains for the marketplace is only for good. It will attract more users to GOLD marketplace. Not all investors can do big investment and as you said, small investment get hurts by expensive transaction fee.
1710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Axie Infinity - A new Ethereum game similar to CryptoKitties [SPECIAL PRE-SALE] on: October 23, 2021, 03:55:54 PM
Who says that Axie Infinity was the  opportunity of the past ? Those who are invest in this game recently are also earning decent money from the game. Although those who joined very early would have got the Axies in really cheap prices as then there was no hype of the game and very few people knew about it. But even if you play the game today, you will be able to make good returns. Still there are many updates planned in the game.
If you join early and play to earn and hold for long time. With the rise of AXS and this game, they would earn decent money as said. I don't think most of gamers who joined early still hold their rewards. They have to sell their AXS and SLP for income and to get their capital back.

AXS has good growth and not only gamers but investors would be happy with profit they have from AXS. The story for SLP is different as it is dumping too deep. Price of SLP looks likely to set up a bottom range and in consolidation time after that we might see a rally of SLP.
1711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Ethereum price at the end of the October. on: October 22, 2021, 01:06:12 PM
Can anyone predicate the price of the Ethereum at the end of the October?
No one can predict it and say it is correct and the prediction will become correct in reality.

Ecoinometrics has a tweet about history of Bitcoin and Ethereum. You can take it as reference but it's not financial advice and you can base on history until it won't repeat again.
1712  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Golden Cross approaching on: October 22, 2021, 12:35:35 PM
We have always been going up eventually, it is not like there is a rare situation where bitcoin goes up very high very quickly, it is obvious that we are going to have situations where we will skyrocket to insanely high prices and it will keep up happening all the time.
Because whales spend months to make price down, to accumulate Bitcoin, to complete consolidation, when they pull triggers for a new bull market, a new ATH, it won't be a small one like 20%, 30%. It would be bigger, 100% or more.

Quote
Forget about macd, rsi, golden cross and anything else you know, it is a hype, it is a bull run, it is doing fine and broke ATH because have been low for a while and no longer low, that’s all we need to know
I agree. MACD, RSI, Golden cross are too long delayed indicators and they are not good to assess anything. A pure chart and volume profile (VPVR) are enough.

Quote
you know what happens next? We are going to see price crash, no idea when, but it will happen. That’s how the market works.
It will be time of fud on media again. We see it many times. Bitcoin lost $10,000 in a few hours, in a day. If Bitcoin makes its new high  at $100,000, the next crash can be $40,000 or $50,000, that will be insane crash, in dollar value.

Media will fud Bitcoin again. Bitcoin has died 432 times
1713  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Golden Cross approaching on: October 21, 2021, 06:53:40 AM
I think This is the Best Golden Cross approaching. What do you Think?

In my opinion, the condition of the Golden Cross gives a signal that the price of bitcoin is in a strengthening trend so it has the potential to rise and this has started a few weeks ago. If the bitcoin price is in this condition, you can make a purchase. The bitcoin price increase will continue and the next resistance target is $65k.
Golden cross can be a fake one if it does not occur with increasing in volume. In order to have a good and sustainable growth, we need golden cross, increasing trading volume.

If golden cross occurs with decreasing volume, we must be careful, it can be a fake golden cross and price can drop after the cross.

If you don't know, you can buy Axie or SLP on Paxful with new payment methods: Ronin AXS or Ronin SLP.
Ronin: AXS
Ronin: SLP

If you don't know how to buy them, watch the tutorial video from Lucas.
How to Buy AXS and SLP on Paxful.
1715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Apeswap (Banana) Speculation Thread on: October 21, 2021, 06:38:33 AM
When i look at the charts right now. All those examples are doing much better and holding value, all within consolidation figures.
It is in disbelief phase. The consolidation is on going for further recovery from bottom.

Quote
Apeswap has lost over 50% of its value and going lower even tough when another coins has been rise. We'll see if there is any hope for this one
Apeswap lost more than 81% of of its value if you are saying about its all time high $11.66 and today price $2.16. The chart looks to be very good and with very good trading volume and active developments, partnerships from Apeswap project, further recover will come.

Accumulate and hold $BANANA is good plan.
1716  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stocks vs Crypto | What is The Difference Between Crypto and Stocks? on: October 20, 2021, 03:37:16 PM
With crypto, with public ledgers, you can check coin distributions and discover whales on the network. You can observe their coin movements, any time you have connection to Internet.

With stocks, you can not do this. You have to rely on reports that can be true or untrue and those reports are not released on time.

The beauty of crypto is you can verify things you read or hear by yourself.

1718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top Altcoins and it’s potential 21 (Drop Names) on: October 17, 2021, 09:04:02 AM
PYR
NEAR
Solana
Ltx.... Etc
These coins can make greater returns from what I've been seeing already sol proved me right now PYR and NEAR broke their ATH.Under these I mentioned you can get cool NFTs  (PYR,NEAR-paras.id) and some cool farming pools on ref.finance ... Sol did a metabuild proposal on twitter you should follow them for more opportunities. Note this is not a financial advice I urge you to Do your own research
$NEAR and $SOL will have selling pressure and I think they will need very long accumulation. You can not expect those coins to rise in near future.

LTX, what is this coin? Is it Lattice? That exchange does not have good development or did I miss something about theirs?

$ICP is my choice because price is low than ATH and now you can hold it. It will need accumulation to be finished but I see less risk with $ICP than with $SOL or $NEAR.
1719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Mintlayer - Decentralized Finance on Bitcoin | DEX | Tokenization on: October 17, 2021, 08:57:56 AM
The list of ventures for this project is long and gives me a thought that it is a good project.

I can guess that the idea to link with BTC blockchain because Bitcoin is a biggest blockchain and with its hashrate, it is a safest network at this moment.

I see you said the main net will be launched in Q1 2022 that sounds good. Building your project on a blockchain of another project is not good, even that chain is of Bitcoin.

Have your own blockchain will have advantage and disadvantage but it is good for long term growth of the project. You don't have to depend on BTC network.
1720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best DeFi Projcet 2021-2022 on: October 15, 2021, 04:27:11 PM
Its not the best investment time. Good time to invest was in 2018-2020. Good time to invest will be in 2023-2024. Now its take profit time or trade the most hyped projects. Fundamentials does not make any different right now. Of cours its better to invest in something that have value grater than zero, because it will not dump 95% in one week during market crash but better project does not mean it will gain more.
Investment should be done with projects that have good fundamentals and in bear market. Don't chase the market, and don't invest in mid of bull market. You believe it is mid of a bull market but are you sure (investor) that it won't be a mid but a top of bull market. Who knows?

Quote
Trade shitcoins now if you are experienced trader, invest after market crash.
I think your advice is trade mid and small cap coins, not shit coins
