2681  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: will the bitcoin reach $1000 one day...? on: April 14, 2014, 05:02:27 PM
455$ now on bitstamp have faith bitcoiners i hope it will go up again to 500$
i knew this btc when it still 10$ my cousin told me about this but im too busy for something Cheesy and nearly forget about this he even told me that i have 2btc on him and he put it on mtgox 14btc mine is 2 and i remembered it only when he give me a call and said that mtgox is brankrupt and the price of each btc is around 500$ then i woke up and realize i lost 1000$ while he lost 6k
Cheesy

Mt Gox is an exchange. I don't understand why so many people were using it as a wallet. There are so many wallet services freely available, then what is the need of storing your coins in Gox?

It was convenient and they may have figured it was safer because mtgox had profesionnal cold storage compared to the risks when you store them yourself; they were obv wrong

bear traps everywhere

Or an other bull trap
I am full BTC so I don't mind if it goes up Smiley

This last trip into the $300 may have been the last time Smiley

I have same opinion Smiley

And I see people are very optimistic too:) so price will rise with our support Smiley

320$ seems like a pretty good price to buy now!

Maybe you could reduce it to 5main options, I recognise your love of being exhaustive
2686  Economy / Gambling / Re: Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: April 14, 2014, 02:04:10 PM
That would be nice to see the total withdraw directly on the account page to know how much we made thanks to freebitco Smiley

You can see that by going to STATS -> PERSONAL STATS.

You have a list of all withdraws but you don't have the total that you need to calculate yourself

If you are using the withdrawal address only for freebitco and you are not cashing out of this address it is easy but if you are not you need to add all the withdrawals or extrapolate

I'll add that in the next update.

Cool thanks, great website, still improving!
Do you run any other websites atm?

Lot of stuff in my to-do list so this update is taking so long. This is currently the only website I run. It's a nice hobby that takes up all my free time.

Yes I bet it is, I wonder how much you could sell the website for

Don't think many people would be interested in buying a faucet and in any case I do not have any plans to sell, I enjoy running it and working on it.

I bet you are

It makes money and with the exposure and traffic it has, it is worth something!!
2687  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hello from a new member on: April 14, 2014, 02:03:32 PM
Welcome, beware of the sc.ammers

When did you get into BTC?
2688  Economy / Speculation / Re: I bought in at... on: April 14, 2014, 02:02:54 PM

sold some at $1400,  1200, 1100  and 800, 700, and 600.    All sold out   Grin

Mining now but slow..

When should we buy again?

Ready to ride the Rockit up again..      Kiss Grin Cheesy Shocked Grin Kiss

Yes, agreed. Yours is the biggest.  Shocked

but purely virtual of course Smiley

You may sold in average at 850$! If you think the price is good you could buy now!? What price are you waiting for if you were not selling at 80-600$?

2691  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will plummet to $10 by first half of 2014 on: April 14, 2014, 12:46:47 PM
Of course banks are going to ban bitcoin exchanges, it's a rising and growing competitor. I like how we can buy what we want with bitcoin Smiley
US: AML laws to make people scared of Bitcoin ATMs, making them think that all the identification needed will steal their identity.
China: Scare the wits out of people by spreading rumors of banning bitcoin.
EU: Just wait.

It can go worse with more bans and if you had a technical problem or 2 and the shut down of a few big bitcoin websites the price would go a lot lower BUT when the banks fail and people lose faith in their fiat currency and their banking system we may look at a HUGE spike in price; I don't know if we will get banks failure before we get bad news, that is for you to decide

2694  Economy / Gambling / Re: EveryDice.com | 0.01 BTC Free Daily Giveaway Now! on: April 14, 2014, 12:41:09 PM
I feel like the 0.01/day giveaway is bringing a TON of action; maybe they should do a 0.001/hour and 0.1/month giveaway as well!

That is good idea!

I might have chance for that hourly 0.001BTC, I have no way to get that daily price, so it would be nice for me Smiley
it will also boost the bets placed!

If you are smart you will bet during hours where there are the least bets and you can pocket the 0.001
2695  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 14, 2014, 12:39:23 PM
When I say that I'm not doing anything right now, it's because I simply don't know where we're going.
I don't feel comfortable saying that the downtrend is over unless we go above $580. But at the same time I'm not as bearish as TERA.
I'm trying to stay balanced in my approach, so I'm somewhere in between bear/bull. I'm not ready to come out of the closet yet.

So what price are you buying? Are you in fiat or BTC?

Tant pis

Moi 245 j'étais pas loin non +! On aurait dû mettre 260 255 250 245..

C'est peut-être cependant un nouveau bull trap dc on va retomber plus bas, il y a bcp de bear et bcp de dumping dès qu'on remonte; cette fois j'achèterai un peu à 265 puis aussi plus bas si on descend
2697  Economy / Economics / Re: Would people pour their cash into bitcoin given a stock market crash? on: April 14, 2014, 12:11:49 PM
deflation typically precedes hyperinflation.  in that scenario, expect bitcoin to decline during the early deflationary phase, and rise in anticipation of the hyperinflationary phase.

I don't see any deflation, we should have some and having 2% of official inflation is huge compared to having -3 or -4% but I agree that the price will rise as soon as we enter in the hyper inflationary phase that should start within 2-3years
2698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your wallet balance? on: April 14, 2014, 12:07:32 PM
Which wallet?
Why should I tell you?
What if I don't want to admit to being broke?
Why would someone with a large balance tell the truth?
QFT.

I have six brain wallets, try and guess how much wealth is stored in each one!

1, 10,100,1000,10000, and 100000

I would guess between 50-200 BTC, am I right?

Usually people using brainwallets have quite a lot of BTC and holding in a long term perspective
2699  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Fucking Ponzi's and the idiots that buy into them + List of Shills on: April 14, 2014, 12:06:13 PM
Most ponzis are sc.ams or finish in sc.ams but ponzi games on bitcointalk don't accumulate money, they send it to the old depositors as soon as the new deposits arrive
Some players did make money, most lose

No, not most - All by the very definition.
Guess who all the early investors are..... the ponzi operator.
Ponzi's also by their very definition HOLD onto money, because fucking morons encouraged by fucking idiots like yourself attempt to compound their investment.

boumalo, Im done with you - I kindly ask you to stop arguing in favour of ponzi's or I shall brand you a shill and be done with it.
Your arguments are pathetic, dangerous and highly ignorant (wilfully ?) of the subject you argue.

Your like the uncle that lets kids play with hand guns for fun because water pistols are weak, all the while sipping a beer and telling the terrified neighbours to stop getting their knickers in a knot while bullets are flying through the suburbs.

In short, you give horrific advice, endorse terrible actions and act as if its an OK thing to do.

Ponzis are bad an I discourage everyone to deposit in them; I try not to use the term investment as it is not an investment.
If you do deposit in ponzis you will likely loose your money because the ponzis operator will run away with the funds or not enough players will deposit after you
I suggested to create a ponzi section and forbid newbies to create new threads in the section to limit the losses of honest newbies that think it is a good idea to try ponzis

As you can see I don't encourage people to play ponzis nor have a positive opinion on them!!!!

Stop threatening me and getting so annoy because I don't have the exact same opinion as you do

The fact is ponzis games on bitcointalk pay the old depositors as soon as they can if new deposits arrive, saying that it is not true doesn't help fight the ponzis games! You don't seem to know how ponzis games work on bitcointalk
And some people have made money playing them, not me I lost like 90% of the players but some did; I would agree most of the money made is made by the shady ponzis owners and their friends and if you try to make money out of ponzis you most probably will lose

I respect your opinion so respect mine, especially since I am attacking ponzis not defending them
I repeat : I DISCOURAGE ANYONE TO PLAY PONZIS!!
2700  Economy / Speculation / Re: Over 70BTC bet that Bitcoin will be $10,000 by end of 2014 on: April 14, 2014, 11:59:55 AM
No pays: 1.152642 BTC
Well it is a 26.1% Yield if you can wait seven months right now in BTC so not a bad bet for no
 in 7 months 1 week

1.15 is not guaranteed, when we will get closer to the end of November, people will bet on NO if the price isn't close to 10,000$ so the payout will go down; it is a weighted bet so I would estimate you can make 1.08-1.11 if you bet now; I am considering doing it

I am on the yes side. Consider that the Second Market Bitcoin trust will be available to small investors before then and there is also there is a good chance the Winklevoss Bitcoin ETF could get approved before then. In fact if the latter happens BTC/USD could go significantly higher than 10000.

10,000$ at the end of November is possible but very unlikely and I am bullish on Bitcoin, I could see 3000-5000$ if everything goes right but you may be a bit blinded by the fact you bet on the price to be at 10,000$ at the end of November 2014
