Has anyone bought keys from this user?   I am just wondering if they last in the long term.    I wouldn't want to buy a key, just to have it be invalid in a week or two.   Any feedback would be appreciated.   Thanks.

jews need to get the fuck over themselves with their the whole world wants to exterminate us bullshit

I'm not jewish, but Israel is surrounded on 1 side by water, and the other 3 sides by countries that want to push them into it.    I would probably feel the same way if I couldn't go out on any given day and worry about suicide bombers and such.
2684  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Difference gigahash and gigahertz on: May 15, 2015, 03:53:42 PM
Hi all, I would like to know if 1 gigahash is the same as 1 gigahertz? Thanks in advance for an answer Smiley

They are unrelated units of measurement.   Hertz is a way to measure frequency or cycles per second.   Hash per second is exactly that, how many hashes are created in a second.

So, to review, Gigahertz= 1 billion clock cycles per second(when relating to computing power)
Gigahash per second= 1 billion hashes of the given algorithm per second.
2685  Economy / Gambling / Re: DaDice.com - Next Generation Social Gambling Dice Experience on: May 14, 2015, 06:32:23 AM
I really like the unique twist on dice.   The interface is pretty nice and the design of the site itself is just great overall.  Everything really pops and stands out nice.   Also, the site loads fast and there is never any noticeable delay doing anything at all.  Good work.

Do you have any plans to integrate a sportsbook type setup as well where a user can bet on live horse races?   It would be great if it was even only for the major races such as the triple crown.   I think it could add an interesting aspect to the site.

Skill? You don't need skill. You just go to http://build-a-co.in/, download the generated code, compile it and run it.

Thats very cool.    What is the best/easiest way to compile that so the QT can run as a windows executable?I'm sure not everyone will want the Linux version.   Is there a streamlined method to do this?

Sounds like someone stole some money and are trying to keep them selves from being guilty

They probably wouldn't post it on the forum.

SSDs lose data if left without power for just 7 days

http://www.guru3d.com/news-story/ssds-lose-data-if-left-without-power-for-just-7-days.html

<< The standards body for the microelectronics industry has found that Solid State Drives (SSD) can start to lose their data and become corrupted if they are left without power for as little as a week, according to a recent presentation by Seagate's Alvin Cox, who is also chairman of the Joint Electron Device Engineering Council (JEDEC).

The period of time that data will be retained on an SSD is halved for every 5 degrees Celsius (9 degrees Fahrenheit) rise in temperature in the area where the SSD is stored. Consumer class SSDs can store data for up to two years before the standard drops, but when it comes to SSDs used by enterprises, the drives are only expected to retain data for a period of three months – a fact confirmed by Samsung, Seagate and Intel's own ratings on their products.

Security firm KoreLogic is concerned that far too many people are now using SSDs in both consumer and enterprise applications, which is clearly not a great idea if the data is important and might be needed for a longer period that three months. The firm advises that users make sure to regularly back up their data and create drive images, or they will risk losing their data, which can have disastrous consequences, for example if the data was part of evidence gather by a law firm for a deposition. >>

I guess a solution could be to have a small cmos type battery for these enterprise grade drives.

The campaign is almost full with only 1 slot left. I will be accepting only an outstanding candidate for this. If I do not get any it will remain vacant.

I would love to join the campaign Carra23.   If you choose to accept me, I will be more than happy to do the work.  Thanks.

Proceed with caution.   There are multiple scam accusations against this user regarding PPMC codes and fake escrows.

closed,

I am not clever enough, I have been on it two weeks and made Major stupid mistakes, and my site is not popular enough to do this every year.

I have nearly lost my site due to my errors, no one wants my money, so I will just cloud my site with free SSL

discretion is the better part of valor.

Thanks all

Squall, I know I dont have high trust like required by your post but if you want we could do it through a teamviewer session so you wouldnt have to give me any passwords and you can watch everything I am doing.   I have set up a ton of Comodo certs before.  PM me if you are interested.
2698  Economy / Services / Re: Anyone help me with SSL (high trust members only) on: May 08, 2015, 05:51:53 AM
Hiya all, Sorry, but this is strictly high trust longstanding members only. It's not much but it's my site, I will reset all passwords after use.

I might consider someone guiding me step by step.

Basically, I am installing an SSL cert on apache2 server, I have generated CSR and received the four comodo files and made the server.crt file, But thats where I am stuck, I dont know where it goes or how to activate it on the VPS.

No I will not use a cloud.

Let me know what your price is.

Squall, what is a little tricky is that the intermediate certificates need to be combined in exactly the right order.  I'm not sure which particular Comodo cert you have, but mine had three intermediates.    Take a look here: https://support.comodo.com/index.php?/Default/Knowledgebase/Article/View/643/17/
2699  Economy / Gambling / Re: new bitcoin site on: May 08, 2015, 04:35:56 AM
1 bitcoin = 1000 credits.

So 1 credit = 0.001 BTC Grin

Btw, I just read the whole terms of service and I found this a little strange:
"In the event of theft, stolen Bitcoins or account information cannot be retrieved and we are not liable for lost or stolen Bitcoins"

You are just a newbie to this forum, this makes us a bit hard to trust your site Smiley

that sounds fishy. Looks like they have plan to run with the coins deposited

For what it's worth, someone who is planning to run likely wouldn't put that in the ToS.   It is more likely someone who consulted a lawyer.  I think someone with intent to run would likely instill as much confidence as possible.
