it depends. when people buy bitcoin in low prive then sell it in high price, or they want to invest their money, then it is investment. but when people buy online things or things from the other country, then bitcoin is better to be used as currency.

bitcoin was not created for a country only, IMO. bitcoin users, of course, like when bitcoin becomes more famous and many people use it, but when bitcoin become's America's main currency, I think bitcoin will be not same anymore. probably the USA government do some researches to bitcoin like identity, or kind of thing. so I wouldn't like it and agree.
