I don't have any file with a name similar to ttyACM0.  How do I find the proper dev file?

What does

ls -l /dev/ttyACM* return ?

 Eg:

Code:
root@xubuntu64:~# ls -l /dev/ttyACM*
crw-rw---- 1 root dialout 166, 0 Sep 25 19:05 /dev/ttyACM0
crw-rw---- 1 root dialout 166, 1 Sep 25 19:05 /dev/ttyACM1
crw-rw---- 1 root dialout 166, 2 Sep 25 19:05 /dev/ttyACM2
crw-rw---- 1 root dialout 166, 3 Sep 25 19:05 /dev/ttyACM3
crw-rw---- 1 root dialout 166, 4 Sep 25 19:05 /dev/ttyACM4
crw-rw---- 1 root dialout 166, 5 Sep 25 19:05 /dev/ttyACM5
crw-rw---- 1 root dialout 166, 6 Sep 25 19:05 /dev/ttyACM6
crw-rw---- 1 root dialout 166, 7 Sep 25 19:05 /dev/ttyACM7

Collecting dust until I can get around to selling them.

Don't have the desire to bother with altcoin mining. It seems like there is a new altcoin springing up every day. Way too volatile and fragmented to hold my interest.
2683  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Is This USB ASIC Miner Worth It? on: September 25, 2013, 10:48:21 PM
7x the hashrate, 7x the price, 1/7th the ports.

Amusingly, the heatsinks on the BF1's are so large that I'm not able to use more than 5 ports on the Anker 9+1's.

We're going to need to start considering spacing distance on hubs depending on which USB miner you are using.

I've placed orders for additional H boards on the 19th, 24th and 25th.  And by the looks of my order numbers and the number of units left in the store, very few people seem to making additional purchases.  I can't believe people haven't snapped-up the remaining stock in minutes.  What gives?*

FWIW, I'm waiting to see what happens to pricing in November. Already have 2 full kits ordered for October, and don't feel like spending any more for that month.

I've don't understand why this inaba guy...
Isn't he supposed to be doing PR for BFL?
Why is he so unprofessional?

 It's because he lacks...

 Integrity

Here are some setup instructions I put together for people new to linux :

 https://github.com/aauer1/bfgminer

For the brave, gitHub source here provided via Turtle / Bick. Make sure you "git clone" the repo locally. I had trouble getting the downloaded .zip to compile.

Additionally, was missing a bunch of dependencies (my fault entirely for not properly RTFMing) that threw the system into a "wonky" state that didn't recognize the sticks until I unplugged and replugged them back in. Please double-check your dependencies if things don't run the first time.

As to the difficulty-level of getting these guys running vs Block Erupter USB's, please understand this is still the first batch, and wider driver support will likely come online in short order.

Did that idiot Josh actually make that analogy?  Man, these Scammers are so Madoff-ish.  Lol

Week of February 10th
We implement the 1/3 shipping plan en mass
1/3 of our assembled units will go to new orders in FIFO
1/3 of our assembled units will go to upgrade orders
1/3 will be randomly selected from both groups

We descend upon the Post Office, DHL, UPS and FedEx like a horde of angry locust

You had my curiosity, but now you have my attention.

$6k for 2TH in January ? Awfully tempting...

I'm still waiting for the dam to break unleashing the waves of 18 wheelers loaded with miners

What ever happened to that Biblical swarm of locusts descending on the post office ? Wink

This thread is titled "Pictures of your mining rigs!", not "talk about where you bought something"

Respectfully, where would your suggest we ask "Where can I buy that ?" if it's a result of posting a photo to this thread, if not here ? It's only natural.
2691  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: @Friedcat: A forgotten promise? on: September 24, 2013, 05:39:39 PM
I take it this stuff is only for the first 3 auction's ? I bought a blade from FC for 50 BTC after all the auctions, and wondering if that qualifies for anything.
2692  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Butterfly Labs New 600GH "Mining Card" - RED FLAGS?!?! on: September 24, 2013, 04:43:35 PM
So you achieved absolutely nothing other than a ban, no mining gear, a total waste of time, and you gloat about that, good one.

Actually, he learned a valuable retrospective lesson about not to deal with Butterfly Labs, got his money back, and doesn't have to worry about the Butterfly Labs forums anymore.

I'd gloat too if I got my money back after someone held it hostage against FTC regulations.

 Good one indeed !
2693  Other / Archival / Re: Pictures of your mining rigs! on: September 24, 2013, 04:34:54 PM
Can you post the like where to order these?

To the best of my knowledge, these are only presently available via private sale from a first run done by the folks at BPMC.

I understand that they should become widely available some-time mid-to-late October.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=292433.0 :: KevinM has some available for sale in batches of 5 @ 1.4 BTC each.

These arrived for me today from BPMC.
2xBE in speed spread (740GH) is alot... does this change or is a slow stick always slow?

Variance of about one Erupter USB (~333 MH/s) between the fastest and slowest stick.

Don't run as root though.

Real men run as root Wink

Purdy and a thanks to Turtle for helping you out.

Yes, big thanks to Turtle indeed ! Great work everyone involved with this project. Very exciting to see this next generation coming online.

The cognitive disconnect that some people hold is amazing to me.
2700  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: September 23, 2013, 06:12:54 AM
How soon until you guys have a working, hashing unit ? I'm interested in purchasing one of your 2TH/s units, but would like to hold off until a working prototype is documented.

Cheers.
