2681  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: August 21, 2014, 03:01:46 PM
Don't buy that shit!  Even if it is a little more expensive, go with their competitors.  Help put a nail in BA's coffin and stick in the ground where they deserve to go.
Hard to get rid of parts when you can't build a working miner I suppose.

Well
1) Nobody's buying from them, most of us are preorder customers still waiting for delivery of our purchase since late last year
2) It's not more expensive to buy from competitors, its cheaper

Not talking about mining gear (although that too I guess).  They are trying to sell excess parts such as capacitors and other equipment needed to build a PCB board with their chips, and they say they will sell them for cheaper than their other companies selling capacitors and other components(who are their competitors), to which I said, "do not buy from BA, buy the components from their competitors, even if they are slightly more expensive."

They decided that they cannot build a miner that works (and we know they didn't design the chip), so they are just selling pieces of a mining rig to end users.  They have gone from a manufacturer to a whole seller, and are just as shitty in that role as they were in their previous one.  It is obvious they have no money, and are trying to scrape together whatever they can before they die, get your complaints registered and refund requests in before its too late!
2682  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: August 21, 2014, 02:42:59 PM
BA update.

We have lots of chips. . Why not make your own PCBs using our untested PCB design.  Also we will sell you the parts cheaper than a retailer.  We just won't put it together for you
https://www.blackarrowsoftware.com/store/minion-reference-design.html

They are bleeding for money!  They will be gone soon.  So many useless parts since they can't build a miner that they are hawking them onto everyone else.  Don't buy that shit!  Even if it is a little more expensive, go with their competitors.  Help put a nail in BA's coffin and stick in the ground where they deserve to go.

2683  Economy / Services / Possibly Looking For Someone To Collect On Debts Owed To Me on: August 21, 2014, 02:34:05 PM
I have an Ebay customer who bought an S3 from me.  Ebay told me the payment was made and so I shipped the item only later to find on Paypal that the payment was an Echeck and had not cleared the bank yet.  Today, the payment was denied and not put into my Paypal account.  To me, this is a problem on Ebay's hands as they told me to ship the item as payment was made and everything was good when in fact it wasn't, they do not seem to think so, and have referred me to ic3.gov to file a complaint.
I was assured that they would handle it and either get me my money or my item, but after reading up on who they are and what they do, I am not so sure, and even if they do, I doubt it will be timely, so I am guessing I can expect to receive my S3 back sometime next year when it is worthless.  That is why I am potentially looking for someone to visit this person and collect on debts owed.  The person is in Springfield Gardens, NY and I have a name, address, and will get the telephone number from Ebay soon.  I suppose the payment for this service would be based on amount of work required to get my item/money back, I would obviously take the item back, but am thinking at this point this person should pay for missed mining time and any other fees (like this one) I incur as well, but that can be determined later.

This is a feeler thread for now until I see what Ebay will do or if the person contacts me back to get this resolved.  If interested, please post below with qualifications and why you think you can handle this, and also a rough idea of your fees for this.  Obviously time is of the essence in this mining game, so I will be making arrangements sooner rather than later once I hear what Ebay will do.

Note:  To my knowledge this type of thread is not against forum rules.  I have seen many others posting similar threads, but if there is something I am missing, please let me know and the thread will be taken down.
2684  Economy / Securities / Re: Bitcoinprivatebank 5% weekly on: August 20, 2014, 07:07:02 PM
This is a scam, if you send your money to this guy, it will be gone forever.  Also don't think he will pay out in the beginning to the first couple to make it look legit as he knows he is already underwater with this scam, and will take the first person's money and run.  There is absolutely no way anyone can afford to pay 5% interest per week.  It's just not possible, and anyone who tells you otherwise is trying to fool you and steal from you.

He also blatantly said the goal was to gamble with the deposits because he has a, "sure fire way to win".  realize this is impossible as every casino ever would be out of business.  There is no mathematical model that will allow a gambler to have an edge over the house as he describes.  I can't wait to hear the excuse as to why the people who developed it, "can't come out and explain how it works", because in short, it doesn't because it can't.

Invest any money and you will lose it.

Straight from their Rules and Agreements.  This is laughable.  You do not get to pick and choose what agencies and laws you follow.  That is just not how it works.  The rest of your "agreements" page is full of laughable clauses and sentences.
2685  Economy / Securities / Re: [ApplianceStore] - Official Reports - Daily Updates - Important Information on: August 20, 2014, 05:57:48 PM
I thought this topic was meant to have higher signal to noise ratio. I'd encourage ABI to cull the non-essential posts (including this one), and notlambchop can go post his opinions in the announcement thread or something.

Forgot all about that, thank you and done.

So going forward now, where do we stand?  Will you be able to give the daily reports or do we need to figure something else out? Personally I think weekly or biweekly reports are plenty, of course its up to you, but that's just my opinion seeing as we have about a month of reports and payouts to catch up on and then everything else going forward.

Your scam is unraveling BA, whats your next move you lying scamming pieces of filth?  Hows that investigation into the email list going Alex Sovu?  Getting anywhere or was it pushed under the rug because you know you sold it you trash scumbag?
2687  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW OneMiner ZenCloud Hashlet - does it really exist? ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: August 19, 2014, 08:58:16 PM
Why is it more expensive to get more?

1 MH/s = $15.99
5 MH/s = $79.99
15 MH/s = $239.99

5 X 15.99 = $79.95, seems to be cheaper to buy 5 of the smaller offers
3 X 79.99 = $239.97

That doesn't make much sense to me.  Was about to pull the trigger and buy a small one to test it out, but that is oddly suspicious.

Please give a general idea of where you are at, otherwise the pickup only option is kind of tough to decide on...

EDIT:  I see MD in your profile, you should put that in the post to make it easier for people.

I would offer $350 for the 42U rack shipped to KS

Thanks for the offer but the shipping cost is greater than the actual item.

Yea I was wondering if that would be the case, anyway good luck selling.

This is kind of weird and I am not sure what is going on.  I haven't been able to access the website from my computer or tablet for about 24 hours now.  But I can get to it from my phone.  Is there something that would be causing this?

What was the issue that you were having?  If you had emailed support we could have addressed this promptly.  Are you able to access the website now?

No I still cannot access the website.  Its really weird, it is my home computer and my tablet that can't reach the website.  I have no problems on my phone.  I am going to try my work computer at lunch today to see if I can.  I had no problems accessing it, then one day, it just stopped and I get a page cannot be viewed error.

Update : we just received 10 Prospero X3 (20x 1Th hashing units).
Our order seems to be complete, without of course 5 more compensation units (no idea when we'll receive)

where are you located? USA?

Paris, France

Are they running stable at 1 TH/s per box?  How are the temps?  Any other problems experienced?

Look for minersource on the spondoolies thread lol this thread is abandoned, everyone here got what the deserved, BA was an unknown company with no track record in producing 28 nm heck 55nm chips, anybyou guys are surprised they ripped you off???

Everyone knows the preorder game is a gamble, some got lucky with the knc Jupiter and early avalons, others got screwed by other vendors too many to name here.

I wanted to buy a bunch of x1s myself back in dec but it seemed too good to be true at the time and invested in gpus instead.

Great, here's a cookie...

Still no update BA.  What's going on, surely you couldn't have failed more than you already have?  The world hates you, your employees are selling private info to make some money, and your chips are worthless.  Any comment on the above?

Also, whats going on with your, "investigation" into your email list getting stolen?  Did you think we would forget Alex Sovu?  You could just put out a statement saying you were, "investigating" and the world would be happy with it?  How is that going?
2694  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: August 14, 2014, 09:19:38 PM
They must have found an issue with the miner so they're going to fix the problem before they resume shipping. You know, to save us from receiving a poor excuse for a miner.

$20 bucks it has to do with the LCD.  You know its something like, well when we unplug it from our datacenter, the LCD still shows our pool information and we don't want to lend any more suspicions into that we are mining with your stuff, so we will just leave it plugged in for another 2 weeks while we fix the problem.  Fuck all of you Smiley

spomdoolie also said AM was selling chips at cost to hardware manufactures. I would take what they say with a grain of salt.

This is getting ridiculous. Why don't you come here and teach us how to build and ship miners?

Why don't you give Bitmaintech a call? They did a pretty good job of building and shipping. Smiley

uh huh, or the guy that's taking all of their chips and building those into miners.  that guy seemingly beat them to market with their own fricking product.

how crappy of a business is it that pays to have a chip designed and then other people take that design and then design forward to an end product that beats their own to market.  it's hilarious, if you look at it just right.  and are kinda drunk.

Someone should go teach these inept retards how to build miners, as it's obvious they know precious little about it, and even less about running a business.  we should start a pool on the bankruptcy filing date, as I don't see how this ship of fools does anything but sink.

they're also saying that if your refund hasn't been issued then it wasn't approved.  give them your order number (ha, ha), and they'll look into it.  total lies yet again.  many people had refunds that were approved, were assured they were coming, blackarrow stated they'd happen in May, and then it was when shipping started, then it was when shipping was done.  As far as I know nobody got a fiat refund voluntarily from these people and now if it never happened, when none of them happened, they've all been issued.  this is typical logic for these people.

we'll do it on X becomes we'll do it on Y.  We'll do it on Y becomes we'll do it on Z.  then they don't do it all.

we saw it with price matching and now we're seeing it with refunds.  these people are liars, plain and simple.

don't forget that they are doing it with compensation!  first they told compensation, then they redid it, then they said when shipping started they would relook, then nothing changed effectively screwing everyone, then it was, well lets see when shipping is done.  all the while, they were supposed to ship compensation with orders, then in the same batch, now, once shipping is done, compensation will start. it has been pushed back and back and back, meanwhile becoming more and more worthless by the day, just like their joke of a product. I wouldn't be surprised if they never shit out one unit of compensation for anyone.  mark my words, it seems like it more and more everyday, they will not ship any comp units, and if they do, they will be worthless and used for 3 months plus however much longer it takes from today.

Isn't that what you asked people to do when you had the backplane failure?

Also Bobsag has alluded to doing some assembly and also going over to China to do just that.

I ask again, what have you actually done?  You haven't designed your own chip, the backplane was made by another party, everything you have "designed" has had to be reworked at least 3 times.  You are nothing by failure and will soon fall.  I am guessing your money supply is getting pretty low right about now, can't have any orders coming in since your selling shit and your rep has gone lower than BFL's.  Have fun living on the streets or in jail you worthless excuse for human beings.

Thanks for the heads up, heading there now, which account is he trolling under?

There has been a misgrade on the royals MLB game tonight.  I bet that there would be no runs scored in the first inning, which there were not, but the bet was graded at a loss.  Please regrade and fix the payout.

Thanks
