I would offer 5.5 Btc and I can pick up the unit since I work less than 5 minutes from BFL HQ's so save on shipping.  No one is going to buy it for $1500.  At that price one could conservatively plan to lose at least 1/3 of their investment with difficulty rise.

So 5.5 Btc is my offer.

wow that's great, do you have any updates on their monarch?

I don't work for them, I work near them.  I have no more information than anyone else, and I would never place a preorder with them.  The 2 units I have were bought off of a guy who had his already.

Right. So, which one of you is buying my 60gh/s Single for such a measly sum? Smiley

I will go 6 Btc + I pay escrow fees.

I don't know what kind of conservative calculation you made.. With the difficulty rising exponentially at the current rate forever (and do you really think it'll continue like this for more than a few months?) you're still looking at ROI in 6 months maximum, probably 3, and +100% profit over next 18 months.

Well to each his opinion.  And no your right, I do not think that it will rise like this for a few more months.  I think that in a month or two, we will start seeing bigger increases than we are currently seeing every 10 days.

Since you seem so optimistic about the future of mining, what would you pay for the 2 singles and 36 USB block eruptors that I have mining in my basement currently pulling about 135 GH/s?  I am open to offers with such an optimistic outlook at the future.

Also a reload the page button would be helpful.  I have had a couple of times where JD lags or gets caught on something and I need to reload the page.  I guess I can click on the logo on the website, but having a reload button is good too.
3665  Economy / Gambling / Re: [http://just-dice.com] Martingale betting bot for JD on: October 09, 2013, 05:37:26 PM
How about an option to increase my bet on wins by a certain percentage of the win amount.

Currently I am betting
.00005 bet at 80% to win .000001187
If I lose I increase my bet by 5x
I would like an option to increase my bet by 1.1, or something like that, on a win.

Not sure if this is easily implemented or not, but would be a cool feature.

Has anyone looked at the code to make sure that this thing is safe and will not steal the btc out of my wallet on my computer or from my account?  Not that I dont trust the OP, its simply the nature of the game to have a healthy skepticism with everything.  I like the bot and want to use it on my main computer.

I keep getting a message that the operation times out when trying to contact just-dice.com.  I think this may be due to me being on my work computer but I am not sure.  Just wanted to leave this here incase the OP had any ideas.  I can get to just-dice on my browser, but for some reason I cannot when I run this program.

UPDATE:
Now when I start it, it just keeps loading and loading (evidenced by the green bar in the upper right hand corner of the screen going back and forth) but doesnt get anywhere and I cannot click anywhere on the right hand side or close the window down.

Hm, looks good, but I would only download it once a user actually claims it's legit, and tested it.  Because it's a download, it may be unsafe, but I doubt my own doubts.

Yea I agree, I do not know how to test this to check if it will do anything malicious.  I do not have that technical of a background.  All I can say is that I have been running for a couple of hours on a computer that has no coins on the QT wallet on a brand new JD account that has a pretty small balance.  So far it has been working well and I haven't gotten anymore errors.  Use at your own risk though.

After thought, you can set your JD account to need a google authenticator code to withdraw, might not be a bad idea just in case.
3670  Economy / Gambling / Re: [http://just-dice.com] Martingale betting bot for JD on: October 08, 2013, 12:37:02 AM
I downloaded it and am trying on a different computer with a separate account on just dice that has a small amount of funds for testing.  So far so good, just putting it through its paces.  A few errors so far, I will try and give a more follow up of each error and what I was trying to do when I got it later.  But so far so good.

.5 Btc plus .1 for shipping to KS.  And that is even pushing it. http://mining.thegenesisblock.com/a/aee3418fdb
3672  Economy / Securities / Re: [POLL] Just-Dice INVESTORS: Do you agree with lowering the max bet? on: September 25, 2013, 06:19:16 PM
As many of you know, Just-dice investors lost a lot of BTC to Nakowa.  He currently has 13,000BTC of investor money in his hands. As a result, dooglus lowered the max bet to 0.25%

Nakowa has stated that he will never play again since the max bet has been lowered.

As an investor, Are you happy with lowering the max bet?

You say that he has 13,000 BTC of investor's money, did he win that or steal it?  If it was won, then it is wrong to call tha tinvestor's money, if it was stolen, then you are correct.  The investor's knew the risk of where that money was going and chose to make the deposit anyway, therefor it is his money and not the investor's.  If he had lost, would you have said that you had his money?  No, it would have been your money.

But back on subject, I did not quite follow what happened and the events that led up to the max bet being dropped.  This is a weird instance though.  Technically the owners of the site are the investors and should be able to make decisions like that based on proportion of money invested.  But this is bitcoinland where company officials are not elected, and can do whatever they want with investors money, with little to no repurcussions.

Since this is bitcoinland I would say that since Dooglas started the site, he should be allowed to do whatever he wants with it.  That is not how the world is normally run, and he should probably have asked or created some polling system to get an idea of wha this investors thought.
3673  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Butterfly Labs New 600GH "Mining Card" - RED FLAGS?!?! on: September 24, 2013, 06:09:50 PM
I'm still surprised nobody has gone over there and stolen what they've been waiting for. Or do other mean stuff.
I heard someone took a propane torch to the back door and set off the fire alarm... but that could just be a rumor...

If it helps...I bought 2 singles off of a guy who had hosting services at Netsolus.  I work about 30 minutes from Netsolus's HQ and about 5 minutes from BFL.  Since the lady had to make a trip to BFL that day anyway, she agreed to take the units and exchange them at the facility, thereby making it a shorter trip for me.  Once the units were exchanged and she had gone inside to take care of whatever business she needed to...I peed on their building Smiley  Not a lot I know, but still...also I have a friend who works with a guy who is some kind of programmer there, and apparently the security is pretty lax if anyone is interested in that information.

Which one do I change it back to?
3675  Bitcoin / Mining support / BFL Single Drivers on: September 20, 2013, 10:46:31 PM
I plugged in my BFL singles and got them working with the Bitminter client.  Then I tried to get them to work with CGminer and changed the driver to Win driver through Zadig.  My question is, how do I change them back?  I want to move my laptop out of my room but I had changed the drivers and now I cant get the singles to work except on my desktop where I didn't change any drivers.

Does anyone know about USB port connectivity?  I do not have access to a router that I could use these with, so a USB connector on them would be very helpful and I could get a bunch.
3679  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: USB Block Eruptor Problems on: September 11, 2013, 06:09:10 PM
From Microcenter:
AC Adapter Output Voltage    5V
AC Adapter Output Amperage    2A

5 USB BEs = 2.5A minimum, so you likely overran the hubs PS for a bit. I vote for power problems too.

Ahh that makes sense, well that was a waste of $15.  Silly me for not doing more research and assuming a powered hub would be fine.  No one to blame but myself.

And Rival, thanks for the link.  I am in the process of ordering 4 Anker hubs which should handle 36 badboys.  Hopefully the problems are all behind me.

But, would there be a reason as to why having 5 plugged into 5 different USB ports would not make all of them work with Windows 7?  I would think that each individual port should have enough juice to run one miner?
3680  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: USB Block Eruptor Problems on: September 11, 2013, 01:43:40 PM
I just received 5 block eruptors, and am having quite a problem getting them set up.  I have Windows 7 running and got a 10 port hub from Micro Center that I am thinking is pretty cheap.

When I first received these units, I plugged them all into the powered 10 port hub and everything worked fine for about an hour, then they started to have issues.  Now, I can only have 1 plugged into the hub and it works, and they all work individually, but plugging two in immediately has problems.  Also, plugging the hub into the wall causes problems.  There is an LED on the hub that lights up when I plug in the USB to the comp, but when I plug in the wall part also, it dims.  One USB miner runs in the hub fine, but plug in the wall port and it stops working.  Is this a bad hub?

Plugging in the USB's directly into the computer causes 2 of them to not work for the Bitminter client, I have yet to get them to work in CGminer.  I am able to get them to have COM numbers, but CGminer still does not recognize them, I use Bitminter and it recognizes them unless one of the above problems is happening.

Does anyone have any idea?  It seems like Windows is having problems identifying multiple miners?  Is there a fix?

Note: The block eruptors LED turns off and only blinks lightly when a share is found (just want to make sure you are not thinking that the bright LED turning off means they are not working)

You mention about plugin your hub into a computer or the wall?  If it is a "powered" hub then it's only "powered" when it's plugging into the wall.  If you are only plugging it into a computer via USB then you are running off the computers USB port power which is not enough power to run 10 eruptors.

If your hub had been working for an hour and now won't work it sounds like there is some kind of fault with the hub, maybe overheated and melted some wiring?  (You'll need a fan on your eruptors all the time especially with a plastic hub.

Thanks for the info.  Yes I figured out that they blink when they are working.  They act really weird though when more than 1 is plugged into the hub.  I am assuming that I probably melted something on the hub, since it seems to not get as much power when plugged into the wall, since it will not even run 1 eruptor, but it can run 1 when I do not have it plugged in.  Also I had a 120MM fan on them the entire time (which was also on the hub but I am guessing the hub was a pretty cheap POS).

Does anyone have a link for a tried and true tested hub that can support 10 of these?
