2681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If btc > $150k, will you still gamble it? on: October 29, 2020, 10:31:32 PM
I think it doesn't matter, I will still gamble, I voted on "this" in the poll.

Quote
Yes, I don't have any problem gambling btc at high price. After all, 1 btc is 1 btc, right?

As an investor you don't mix things, when you gamble you gamble when you invest, you invest.
That's the principle we should follow so we can still focus on what we are doing even if we do both.

As a gambler all you do is just buy bitcoin and sell when needed to cash out, nothing is extraordinary with that and you can do it regardless of the price.

Will it be when you have reached 50 participants across all campaigns combined will the prize pool be the 0.05btc?
I guess that doesn't make sense. Each competition should have their corresponding number of participants. I would rather prefer different strategy; like betnomi with their soccer prediction contest which have attracted a lot of users to join their site although most of them will never be active in the site.
I think the number has already been increasing based on what I have observed, eventually it will increase more and more as Betbtc continue to run the promotion, no promotion like this in games and rounds, betnomi, you win BTC1 but that if you can perfect the prediction which is unlikely or less chance.

KD played in OKC too, and with westbrook and other players which I think Irving is a better player than westbrook but not all that much, just a tiny bit and yet KD failed to bring any championship to OKC. Mainly that was because they played in the west and west is a tough one, but east looks like it is getting tougher as well, one day they look like they are decent and another day they look like they are soft. However between sixers, raptors, bucks, Miami, celtics and now nets east going to be not so easy neither.

I feel like best KD can do with Nets would be second round exit, he would probably not make it to conference finals, and if he does that would probably be the end as well. However this is basketball, you never know what is going to happen, who could have said Miami would be at finals at the start of last year? NOBODY could have guessed that at all.

Sportsbooks knows better, they have rank the teams according to their chances.

Los Angeles Clippers   +400   4/1
Milwaukee Bucks   +650   13/2
Boston Celtics   +1200   12/1
Golden State Warriors   +1200   12/1
Brooklyn Nets   +1400   14/1
Miami Heat   +1400   14/1

Brooklyn nets has the same odds with Heat, Sixers was not even considered here as that team is already a mess, FOR NOW>

Mavericks willing to trade anyone not named Luka Doncic or Kristaps Porzingis for third star, per report

Its just dumb for Mavs on letting Doncic and Porzingis to be traded off.Who would be your guess to be their third star?

Giannis Antetokounmpo is their ultimate dream, hopefully they can get him even without trading their present stars.
Other names, I don't know because Luka has been playing as PG of them team, so they need some stars not on PG position, how about Westbrook?
2685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty managers can do better on: October 28, 2020, 10:48:38 PM
I once wished that bounty hunters can come together as one to escape the ruined reputations of bounty hunters and the unfair ways we've been treated but I think this can easily be done not by bounty hunters but by bounty managers

If bounty managers can starts doing screening on new bounty projects scam rate will be limit, for example come face to face with team using video chat and forcing them to do KYC just to confirm they are real, this day many new projects only chat with bounty managers and that's all, I think this is why bounty detective can't figure out that kingcasino scammers are from Nigeria

Please bounty manager make sure the team you doing a job for are real atleast, don't just take a job through chats only
If a project offers you to handle a bounty for them with good reward, do you think you will still have time to review it? But still there are few managers that still want to promote legit projects even the reward is only little.
Reward is very important but it should not be put first, the first thing that a manager should consider is if the project is legitimate or not, because it's useless to be attracted to a big reward when in the end all our effort will only be wasted as the project goes "SCAM".

That's not new to the crypto space, so we have to be aware.
2686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you read the TOS of a gambling site? Honest answer please. on: October 28, 2020, 10:34:24 PM
I don't really read TOS since I thought they were just all the same but different of ways of telling it to people but it looks like I'm wrong. Now I know that reading TOS is very important and should be read by everyone who will be using that gambling site.
Good thing we have this thread, we can read different comments from different members and though the opinion were divided but at least we know the different sites and why it's necessary and no necessary anymore to read, its just funny that majority of the voters did not read the TOS as evidenced by the voting result of 61 vs 51.

2688  Economy / Speculation / Re: History repeats itself? on: October 28, 2020, 11:53:23 AM
What's on your thoughts here?
I thought that history would repeat itself in 2020, but I was wrong, however, there are still about 2 months left in November & December.

From the graph, what the OP shows, history can be repeated in four more years, moreover half of it was completed last May, it can still be seen about a year after the halfing happened, hopefully so.

A graphical watch shows that between 2021 or 2023, anything could happen again to Bitcoin.

History could repeat itself for bitcoin but not for altcoins, $20k is too far to achieve at the current price but this would result to the dump of altcoins which we didn't see in 2007 as what we saw is a hype for the entire market. If bitcoin will stay at $20,000, I think this would make investors to be interested in investing as they have already proven bitcoin is not a bubble.
2689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any truly safe bets in sports betting? on: October 28, 2020, 11:30:12 AM
If those people only focused on winning, I am sure that they will be disappointed because winning in the gambling games will not easy. T

Why not? what would you focus when in gambling? Your intention is surely to win, come one.

Maybe you think gamblers just want to have fun, yes, it could be through but we can't deny that every gambler wants to win, whether small or big bet.
Let's be realistic here, we focus on winning but we stay responsible when gambling, that way gambling will not destroy our lives even if we lose.
2690  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: New to signature campaigns, questions. on: October 27, 2020, 12:47:47 PM
Enjoy the privilege for being enrolled in a campaign, but you can consider that as a job since there is no job security, campaign could stop anytime and it will left you hanging while you are still looking for some campaign where you can work again. I hope being active in the forum will not only be dictated by the reward of posting, that would not give a quality result as a poster.

Yes that is true you are only good as your last ten posts, there is no job security here keep learning keep contributing, make yourself a valuable member of this forum, forgot the payment concentrate on what you are posting and it will take you to another campaign, the competition is very stiff and everyday another lower ranked members are ranking and it will compete on available position.

Even if they keep improving your post that any campaign manager would likely hire you, it still does not guarantee that you'll have a job all the time as it could happen that businesses would not run their campaign in the forum, or only few will run a campaign, or... maybe the payment will be reduce that is not enough for you to survive.

So you're saying that jobs that don't offer security cannot be called jobs? Cheesy

I said that in my previous post but now I won't say it because you are right, however, I won't focus on a job that has no job security, if you just solely rely on signature campaign then there's no job security at all as what you earn is not enough to raise a family. Also, you will be pressure if you consider it as a job as we are suppose to be having fun in the forum, let loose, and be yourself all the time even if people think you are a spammer, but at the end what matters is what you contributed in the forum but it also cannot be measured by one group only as others may appreciate what you are doing while others will, hope I explained it right.

P.S. some people think you are a spammer because you only do one liner post. "That's ridiculous".
2691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lottery is a poor man's tax on: October 27, 2020, 12:22:54 PM
When we say tax, it's coming from the government impose to people with income. This is not a right definition of lottery, IMO, it's more like a donation and most lotteries revenue are to help the poor people, but unfortunately, poor people are their usual bettors.
2692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Inoue vs. Moloney - October 31 on: October 26, 2020, 10:23:14 PM
This is a very interesting fight and we are almost there.

I had placed my bet on Inoue because it seems the odds were on this fighter and I have a good smell and doubt that this man will win the fight. But there's no guarantee yet since Moloney I guess was also well prepared for this fight. Both fighters are aggressive but we just only one winner. Let just wait and see this fight.
Good luck on your bet. You're too early for the match but it's better than before the last few minutes of the match.

I'm for Inoue on this match but it's worth to take the risk and odds for Moloney. But it's your choice and bet and we have no idea how this match will be ending so good luck to everyone who will be betting for this match. A few days to go and this will be on.

Betcoin.ag and Fortunejack offers the best odds for this fight, https://www.bestodds.ai/odds/sport-boxing/matchups/naoya-inoue-vs-jason-moloney
The maximum you can get is 1.1 for Inoue while 7.19 for Moloney, 1.10 is worth he risk, just make sure to put a decent bet.

He won't fine any, Lol, Manny is like once in every 50 years boxers.
Manny is just blessed to have a wisdom, he didn't leave boxing completely, though he will retire soon which is for sure, but he will continue to work with boxers as he has already a boxing promotion business, I don't know how big his influence is but the guys has money, he can afford to promote good fight highlighting the filipino boxers in the world.

Right, but at the current odds on Inoue, as an experience bettor on boxing, you can throw that amount $100 and up with that odds. Let's wait if sport bookies are going to open up more odd line for us. As @mirakal, one more week before the fight, a lot of time for them to give us good betting options just like any previous fights.

No choice but to wait, but I'll be checking on my sportsbook regularly, let's see if I can see some odds and will share it here.

If this is going to happen, Lakers will surely be a hard team to beat, no doubt they will win a back to back championship or even a 3-peat.

"Chris Paul trade rumors: How a Dec. 22 start date for new NBA season could prevent a possible Lakers deal"

Lebron wants to make his team unbeatable, so this could happen. Rate it's possibility.

After reading this article.

Chris Paul to the Lakers is a Bad Move – Here’s Why

My answer would be not a good idea for CP3 to be in the Lakers.

Lakers will have to trade players for CP3 and according to the article, they need to ship players including Danny Green and Kyle Kuzma, and since KCP and Rajon Rondo might leave, they will miss a lot of key players that helped them to win the NBA championship in the bubble.

Also, Lakers are already a super team, what would they aim for more?
2698  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - $1,000 Daily Race! 30% Rakeback! Advanced Dice Game🎲 2.000 Bets/s⚡ on: October 24, 2020, 12:49:40 PM
I certainly lean towards the former, what about you, have you changed your attitude to BTC and are you actively trying to get more of it be it through gambling or other means?
^ Good to see that there are still gamblers who are willing to lose their fund in gambling despite the pandemic. I was expected that most commonly have the same problem, the financial problem will most likely are all facing right now. Now, I almost change my self during the lockdown, I did not spend my money even on gambling and also my bitcoin. My attitude towards bitcoin is just a form of investment but not for the purpose of money. Nevertheless, congrats to them.
I think if a gambler can found an enjoyed gambling, they don't even think about losing their fund in gambling, even if we are in the pandemic. He only feels that he can still play his favorite gambling games, which is happening to many gamblers.

I am happy to see you realize that you can change yourself during the lockdown because if we still playing gambling, we will only risk that money, and we will lose that money. I don't think that we can easily win the games, especially if we count on gambling to make money.

Right now, I use bitcoin for my investment too. But I try to trade to make money, and I am happy that I can still earn money.

So no matter what the gambling site that the gambler use, if he doesn't know how to stop gambling, that will be no use for him because he will only lose that money.

I think no one is willing to lose, but we can accept loses because we are matured enough as a gambler, when we say there's a risk in gambling, there's also a reward as sometimes we can also win, so we should be realistic and ready to accept in one day we lose as winning does not happen all the time.
2699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any truly safe bets in sports betting? on: October 24, 2020, 12:33:26 PM
In sports betting, everything is safe, only winning and losing. If you're using a strategy like @OP, then that's a strategy I use often too. Because in sports betting, of course anything can happen, and big teams can also lose. But choosing a big team has a greater chance, it's just that the payout is smaller.

No, sometimes bookmakers return bets made on a match with odds 1. This is the actual cancellation of accepted bets, this is a rare event, but it happens (usually when there is a suspicion of the fairness of the game). Plus, in some sports, a draw happens even when it's rare there, like in boxing.

Odds 1? I don't get it, I don't see that kind of odds because it's like betting without winning, and too risky on your part as you could lose your bet.

Can you enlighten me what you meant by that?

Let me check my inbox.  Roll Eyes

Ohh.. he has not sent me a message yet, this is a scammer, a newbie account that is likely just a throw away account.
For most gamblers here who are active in the forum, maybe we are already aware of this, but somehow he might be a risk to those gamblers who are just starting to learn since fixed match info is really tempting if you believe the service is legit.
