You do not focus on the role players or even players on your line up that are not Lebron or AD. When you have AD and Lebron you offer them the most money you could potentially ever afford, if you have to get 8 free agent veteran minimum players around them you will do that, it is just not possible to make the team this good without paying him that much money.

However one thing is for sure, they have some salary they could shed off, and they could definitely sign good or decent level players with veteran minimum because they are the champions and players could come to that alone. Which means Lakers will give AD whatever they technically could, there is a limit obviously due to CBA but whatever that limit is, Lakers will be ready to give that without a doubt in their mind.

I'll just grab one that I am intrigued with.

3. Where will CP3 (and OKC's other vets) wind up?
Chris Paul had such a stellar season with the Oklahoma City Thunder that he could find himself on a contender again. Milwaukee makes sense in theory, but so do a bunch of other teams that are either already among the elite or think they would join the elite with Paul in the fold.

Bucks can afford him if I am not mistaken.
And, they need a veteran on their roster. Someone who could really lead.
I don't think it is Giannis time to lead a team yet. Put someone else. CP3 could be that guy and then, they have a playmaker.

This is also why Stephen A. Smith, a pure Knicks fan is so mad when they didn't try to offer or even have a meeting with KD and Kyrie.

This is just my speculation but I think the reason why NYK didn't push for Durant is that they aren't sure about KD's plan in the future. It might destroy their plan if KD suddenly changed his mind as signing him will cost them exchanging a possible future rising star in the draft pick.

If we look at KD's current contract in Brooklyn, the team made a gamble that on Durant's 3rd year, he has a player option, either he will stay or not in the team. In other words, the upcoming season is the only time wherein Brooklyn can take advantage of KD (because KD was being ruled out to play in 2019-2020 because of his injury.)

But whatever it is, I like Brooklyn Nets to be one of the contenders in the Eastern Conference next season. Their fans are waiting. I hope KD and Kyrie will be at their 100% healthy status. Like to see a much competitive Eastern Conference.

There are many too rumors when it comes to Giannis Antetokounmpo, there are some platforms and media that heat is interested to him and also there are some that saying Mavs is interested to get him. I think the highest probability is seeing Antetokounmpo in Mavs for me because the Mavs is currently forming a big 3 wherein they say that they can let go other players except to Luka and KP. Another big man in their team will make them conquer the next season for sure but still it is just a rumor and there is only small possibility that may happen. I'm now excited to see the next season and how are the teams will form a good and strong team that will considered as another level team.

I agree with you, plus KP is not really healthy that healthy after all, he is prone to injury now and that makes the future of the Mavericks uncertain if KP will be injured in big games especially in the playoffs. KP is a complete big man, he can shoot in the 3s consistently, grab some rebounds and block shots but the main concern only IMO is his health.

They took the risks, might as well maximize everything in just one year before KD will have his player option.

Dude put the Nets back on the map while they have no stars playing. I can say he stepped up his game and I hope he will not lose that confidence even if 2 stars are already playing with them. I can't explain my excitement to watch these guys play. They  should build their chemistry as fast as they could.

I know what KD is capable of and definitely he can carry a team for he even became an MVP when he played at Golden State Warriors. He will going to plat this time like Lebron did in every team he landed up making an appearance to NBA finals or play off.

This is the time that we can see if KD too could do the same thing like Lebron Jamea did. Anyway, he has Kyrie Irving which could let the guard dance in the court of his ball handling talent.
