2681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: For Bounty Hunters on: December 12, 2020, 02:57:47 PM
Actually, I don't see much rage from bounty hunters right now.
Like 1 or 2 every month unlike 2-3 years ago where the altcoin section is filled with the madness of hunters.

I think they already understand all of that which is why they are now used to it.
Bounty hunting is a risky job, especially for new projects. When I say new, not even a scratch. No company behind it.
If they understood all of this then, they also knew what should be done to join a higher chance project to survive.
2682  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips to know when trading your cryptos . on: December 12, 2020, 07:20:32 AM
You missed a point. Learn to use a crypto wallet to store your crypto and wallet should be non-custodial.
I agree with this one but a very important point of all.
You cannot start with Coinbase. Better to learn how to make a non-custodial wallet first.
It's not that hard and most of it is user-friendly. Besides, they are also creating videos for tutorials.

Thankfully, I was not confused when I first stepped into an exchange.
I guess trading commodities was also a good background.
2683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 12, 2020, 04:52:29 AM
Here we go folks!  NBA Basketball is back!

Predictions:
The Brooklyn Nets vastly underperform expectations.
The Golden State Warriors finish at best a 6th seed.
The LA Clippers get destroyed by the LA Lakers in the playoffs.
The Phoenix Suns make the playoffs.
The Sacramento Kings make an insanely dumb trade/signing.
DeAndre Ayton has a breakout season.
LeBron James leads the league in assists for a second straight year.
Kevin Durant suffers another season ending injury.
Kyrie Irving receives over $1,000,000 in fines.
Zion Williamson makes it clear he is better than Ja Morant.
Giannis Antetokounmpo sees his numbers decline for the first time in his career.
LaMelo Ball is a bust.
I like this one.  Wink
1. I doubt someone could stop Giannis. His decline in number may have a reason to happen like injuries.
2. Setting aside injuries, Nets underperformance is possible if the chemistry won't work.
3. Deandre Ayton, number 1 draft pick. If he succeeds in performing better this season then no doubt the Suns may take a place in the playoffs. Then, there is CP3 who could make things better.
4. LaMelo Ball. So much hype because of their father's connection. I still want to see this kid's craftsmanship in the NBA first before making an assessment.  Cheesy
2684  Economy / Speculation / Re: Three weeks to the year end - what will be the high? on: December 11, 2020, 08:55:25 PM
All I can think of is Bitcoin is having a difficult time to go beyond the $20k mark.
It's like it doesn't want to repeat history.  Grin

It might end at $19k and that's it.
2021 will be bumpier since those who are still waiting for a little profit since 2017 will have to think harder if they need to sell for ROI or risk waiting above whatever mark they bought it.
2685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what i can do with those tron tokens on: December 11, 2020, 07:31:49 PM
Just looking at the name of the tokens will tell it all.
Fakenews coin? Testtwo? C'mon man.
Just use some of your common sense and you will find it out.

I also have lots of different tokens in my ETH wallet and I never even tried deep on how they are doing.
You just know it.
I just don't have the time to clean it up and it will be a waste of Ethereum for gas fees.
2686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bnb is cheaper faster then eth and btc on: December 11, 2020, 05:21:44 PM
I tell you, it doesn't even exist before.
Ethereum and Bitcoin had already put their roots in the crypto industry before that token start emerging.

Got lucky that their exchange is hyped and people are now using it as a cheaper way to trade in their platform.
But that's it. It ends there.
2687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 11, 2020, 02:38:19 PM
Paul George got the jackpot because he signed a maximum contract with the Clippers for another four seasons. It means that he will earn $226 mln for the next five years, considering the coming season.
You can read the announcement about this deal here.
Damn, that was really huge.
I hope he is worth every penny of that contract.
Some analysts may be on fire now because of that deal.  Grin

Just to be clear, that one that won the ring with the Lakers in Pau Gasol and not his brother Marc Gasol.
True. It was Pau.
And the Lakers are just showing interest right now. The deal is not yet confirmed. I bet they are just looking for a veteran mindset.
Or, an addition to their defense. You can see how Frank Vogel influence the Lakers management.

2688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is There any legit "android" games you play using cryptocurrency on: December 11, 2020, 11:15:14 AM
Warning: It's up to you if it will be worth the effort.
So I asked my wife what games is she playing that pays Bitcoin and had already paid her.
She's into that thinking he can earn some since there is nothing to do at home.  Grin

Games by Bling.
Here is one.

I am not suggesting you seriously do this to earn. Maybe just for fun.
2689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook Issue on: December 11, 2020, 09:05:49 AM
Well, I think you are just not updated on what is really happening.
Use this link.

Libra was also discussed there. Oh, and it's not Libra anymore.
They are trying to create something new but their government is still the obstruction.
You should not worry about it yet. They will need to pass a lot of tests which are like walls to them.
Also, because one application made an error means it will affect everything.
2690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 11, 2020, 05:52:35 AM
Reading all related articles about that, I see that aside from he wants to play his brother, Marc, he badly wants to retire as a Lakers. Almost consider retiring after injuries but really wants to do it in a Lakers jersey (last played in 2019 with only 3 games with the Bucks).
Oh! He must be a pure Lakers fan or this attempt might have something to do with Kobe.
The two were really close back then.

~
Yeah, but their process is going to damnation.
No chemistry and strong players are being traded. i.e. Adams and Schroder.
Are they trying to build a team for the future like Knicks?
Funny that the Knicks actually came to my mind while I was checking their (OKC) recent trades - I was like "they're following the Knicks!". But like I said above, the only logical reason for their move is that they're trying to hit the jackpot again like how they landed that trio. If not that, then something similar to what the Warriors did.
We have the same thought.  Grin
Rebuilding and betting on the lottery. Waiting for that player to soar, whoever that will be.
Who knows? They might be searching for the next Jordan or Kobe.  Cheesy
2691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 5 best coin or token? on: December 10, 2020, 07:57:43 PM
How about you pick 10 altcoins then we try to give our opinion on what could be the best with volatility too.

We can just throw anything here and I bet you will not even read some of the replies of the members here.
So there will be a higher chance to get a better result if you can provide some names first and maybe we could also add some.
You could just edit your opening thread then we could reply again.
2692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 🤔 How do you distribute your portfolio? BTC vs Altcoins on: December 10, 2020, 06:33:22 PM
70/30.
70 for Bitcoin of course and 30 for Altcoins which includes Ethereum in it.
I like to hold it as long as I can. Meaning as I am still alive or not weak yet.
I'll pass it on to my kids or if they are not interested, they could just cash it out for whatever reasons they want to do with it.
Although along the way I am still cashing out some.
Gotta make my wife happy too at some ways.  Grin
2693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 10, 2020, 05:04:51 PM
You can definitely go back even furhter and say magic and kareem is definitely something Lebron and AD can be compared to.
Oh yeah, that's good.
I agree with btc_angela though. Different era, different style of play.
They are now creating their own history. Soon, they will be the ones being compared to new players.
Lebron first of course.  Grin

~
Damn, that was a long list.
I made an effort reading them all but none of them really WOW'ed my eye.
It's like everything is for the future.  Grin
I know! They are probably the Sixers 2.0 with the "Trust the Process".
Yeah, but their process is going to damnation.
No chemistry and strong players are being traded. i.e. Adams and Schroder.
Are they trying to build a team for the future like Knicks?
2694  Economy / Speculation / Re: When moon? ($500k / $1 million / $2 million) on: December 10, 2020, 03:25:50 PM
I don't really go that far when predicting things to happen.
Why? There are events that might change everything.
Just like now, suddenly there is a pandemic that affected a lot of people in the world.
Who would thought that will happen?

$30k next year is already an awesome number for me. Then maybe, $5k for every year.
That's if USD won't lose its value.  Grin
2695  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin used by Criminals to sophisticate their footprints on: December 10, 2020, 11:50:38 AM
It cannot be stopped. Everything that is created can be used for evil deeds. They just need to bend it a little.
USD, EURO, GOLD, Silver, or any other currencies and commodities that have value can be exchanged for drugs, guns, or any illegal works.

But you did find the right word. "Sophisticate"
They can still be traced, they are just making it hard for authorities.
It's just a matter of whoever has the right equipment to track them down.
2696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 10, 2020, 04:51:17 AM
If you really want to compare AD and Lebron with a duo in the past of the Lakers then it could be Kobe and Pau.  Wink
Pau also shoots the ball from the outside and is defensive on the inside.
Davis is just better with his versatility.
If he will gain more experience then I am sure he will dominate even the best forwards of the league.
The good part is, he has his own style that plays a big role for the team.
2697  Other / Meta / Re: BITCOINTALK FORUM NEEDS A DEFI SUB-BOARD on: December 09, 2020, 06:12:51 PM
The fun part.
+Merit if you agree.  Shocked
The merit helps to boost a post's visibility, right? I just want the post and its purpose to reach high enough for attention
No, it ain't.  Tongue

I didn't even see this during the ICO times and it was still way bigger than DeFi now.
Sure it is still in hype but, will it last long?
By creating its own Sub-Board and it just fails then it will just be a waste of space.
Just put it in the altcoin section if you want to share something. It is still an altcoin, right?

2698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 09, 2020, 04:57:33 PM
What's happening with the Thunders? They've been very busy tossing players around like they are basketball Grin and it looks like they aren't done yet. They've taken rebuilding to a different level with these trades.
Damn, that was a long list.
I made an effort reading them all but none of them really WOW'ed my eye.
It's like everything is for the future.  Grin
Kyrie is both a decent human but also a weird fella as well.
Yes, he is weird.
Lebron puts his relationship with players especially teammates like brothers.
I don't know about Kyrie. He says mean words without thinking about it. It could be on purpose for hoarding attention.

Let's just see if all his words can be proven on the basketball floor this season.
2699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 09, 2020, 07:06:02 AM
Talents are already their, chemistry is only what is necessary in order for this team to function at their maximum capacity.

Durant and Irving being a proven star players in the NBA has to work together, do their rule and expect one another, that way they'll be a tough team to beat. Compared to the west rosters, the East is not that good so Nets should have an easier path to be in the playoffs and even advance in the NBA Finals.

They are actually starting their progress with their chemistry in a different way.  Grin
The ETCs with Kevin Durant Episode 1: Kyrie Irving (Part 2)
Their discussions are in chemistry, I don't know if it's the same in basketball as a team.  Grin
But with their roleplayers like Dinwiddie, Allen, LeVert, and Harris, chemistry is not a problem anymore.

How about Bucks?
D.J. Augustin will be their new ball handler. They got used to Bledsoe so there will also be a lot of changes.
No problem with Jrue since he's a versatile player.
2700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My analysis and opinion about btc and eth year 2020 on: December 09, 2020, 05:46:14 AM
Oh Man, did I just saw lots of "accumulate"?  Grin

It's half true though.
Ethereum "might" perform well if Ethereum 2.0 will work out just fine.
But that is still unsure.
Who knows if those who bought ETH had enough and just want to take the profits out.
Where do you think they will go? I bet it's not USDT. Might as well put it into BTC right?
