"Congratulations chaNo8pha on your HUGE 90 BTC (1,000,000 USD) win!"

this is one hell of  a luck to be betting 0.07 bitcoins on  29x multiplier and winning two times
sometimes you can wait for this damn 29x to come for 400 rolls if not more
guess money get attracted to money and who doesn't risk doesn't win big
hope he rained some of it and made even more gamblers a bit happier that day Smiley

2702  Economy / Services / Re: My experience dealing with the so-called accelerator services on: January 30, 2018, 01:59:44 PM
I don't think this thread belongs to this section. I'm not sure to where it should be moved though.

And, if it was possible to pay very small fees for a transaction and then use a free accelerator to get your transaction through then I guess no one would have been concerned about the increment of transaction fees of Bitcoin.

I think what he wanted to emphasize here is that, people offering bitcoin accelerator here is all scam. So don't fall for them.
He just giving warning to those newbies who don't know why their transaction taking too long to went through and wanted their transaction to be process at once.

there is nothing really free in this world, you have to pay with your resources for everything
sometimes it is money, sometimes it is time (which is far more valuable as it is irreplaceable) or effort
those transaction accelerators topics are not charities, they are made to earn money for the OP
even if they position them as "free" they would not bother accelerating your low fee transaction for free
maybe a few shill accounts had their transactions accelerated to show they do accelerate
but when you post your low fee tx,all they would do is try to see if they can accelerate for free through antpool or Viabtc
and if the fee is way too low, they would get a quote from a paid accelerator such as Viabtc or pushtx
and quote you that+their extra
simple business,nothing personal

if you want to try and accelerate it for free use these:
https://pool.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/
https://www.antpool.com/user/prioritiseTransaction.htm?m=savePrioritiseTx

plus use one of the many rebroadcast services, just google to find as many as you like

Frequently Asked Questions

General Questions
Q. Which website is the best head or tail casino ?
A. HeadOrTailBet.com is the best casino to bet and earn money.

This is the first question there in FAQ. Common man grow up.

I wake up and ask myself, which is the best head or tail casino and here is the answer! Grin
I found it very funny, also an important question to be in Q@A along with another masterpiece:

Q. How can i trust to head or tail bet ?
A. This website is 100% trustworthy because it will expose the result of each spinning coin in hash format ,before you bet on that.

on a serious note-obvious scam,you won't find a single real player there
100% house created bots,do not even think about trying it out
also OP should be trying harder, people are not THAT gullible at bitcointalk
2704  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BiteBTC Exchange Launched! on: January 30, 2018, 11:45:40 AM
do you allow to withdraw cryptocurrencies without verification?
for example: I want to sell BTC for LTC and withdraw
it says "In some cases, the profile check can take up to several weeks. After confirmation, you can immediately make a deposit and trade"
don't really fancy waiting weeks to start trading even if I do not plan to withdraw in fiat
also do you really need first name and last name straight at the register screen?
2705  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 FAST, play and invest, BTC / LTC on: January 30, 2018, 09:48:06 AM
We're getting really close to YD's first 1 Billion bets!  Only ~150 Million to go!  Woo!

Based on this thread opening date site opened in Nov 2016 means it almost took one year and few months reach first billion bets.

Reaching one billion rolls will be a good achievement for a dice site.

Anyone knows which dice site took less time to reach first billion rolls?

The achievement of reaching such number of bets is not the most important thing imho, it does not matter it is fast or slow because the main important thing is the wagered amount. It is useless to have so many billions bets but the wagered amount is lower than the one with less billion bet.

Still 150 millions to go, I hope there will be interesting promo to celebrate this achievement. Although it is not that special achievement (at least for me) but it is always great to celebrate any achievements.

waiting to see if there is a promotion at yolodice too
milestones like that especially for a relatively new site do mean alot
if you compare yolodice with some... older sites  Roll Eyes ,they have 21+ billions bets
EACH
and counting, they also hold contests each billion bet and it is a very good way to attract more bettors
+ keep the topic at the top,so more bitcointalk users see it and may register to try and win

2706  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Just launched Coinbio.com, Crypto price tracking tool, lmk what you guys think! on: January 29, 2018, 07:09:24 PM
an unexpectedly decent site for a fresh starter, very mobile friendly
loads faster than coinmarket for me
there is one more new site that I liked from the project section :  https://athcoinindex.com/
think it is better in terms of usability, loads longer for me though and is not looking as neat on my mobile as yours
but there is an option I would love to see on yours-filters,it has unique filter tool where you can
check a certain range of parameters, including current price, price change for a period of time etc.

Thats exactly the filter option we are working on! We didn't think anybody else implemented it yet so we were keeping it quite, Guess not haha.

We will allow users to filter their sorts e.g. sort 24H % change in ASC or DESC above or below a certain range etc.

First implementation will be regular sort, second will be the extra filters

this would be great!
will bookmark it and check the progress, lets see if it makes to "weapon of choice" status  Grin
implementing filters and it being fast and as mobile friendly as before would certainly help

here is one more new site you may want to have a look at:
https://eth-price.com/
nothing really unique but all the data you need is there (except for filters,of course)
2707  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can a jr.member still participate in a campaign? on: January 29, 2018, 06:55:35 PM
no, Jr. members will not be able to participate in signature campaigns any longer

not sure if it has been implemented already or not,but Members will be soon the lowest rank
to be eligible for the signature campaigns
and maybe its the right course of actions, since the forum has become a cesspit of mindless discussions
with some lower ranked members contributing heavily to it in their struggle to get ranked up and finally(!) earn money
and the only campaign I recall of that was accepting Jr. was 777 casino campaign with very very low rates anyways

2709  Economy / Gambling / Re: Mooncoin Gambling Website? on: January 29, 2018, 11:33:43 AM
sell mooncoin or convert it to an actual decent cryptocurrency
there are exchanges that accept mooncoins: Bluetrade,Novaexchange
but I have never seen a gambling site accept mooncoins,as,probably none here
2710  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅ DuckDice.io 🎲 Faucet 🎲 Rainbot 🎲 Jackpot 🎲 Wagering Contest 🎲 1%Edge 🎲 on: January 29, 2018, 11:03:36 AM
Hello, sorry for the delay due tot the weekdays, at the moment we have refunded your deposit and running an investigation.
As we can see deposit has been made on 5th of December 2017 and cancelled on 12th of January 2018, the transaction got confirmed few days ago. Our current guess is that transaction took to long however, this is not the reason for it to be cancelled and we are sorry for the delay and inconvenience.

can confirm my 800k deposit has been credited... finally
the transaction was sent with a low fee, around 7 sat/byte
and it took quite some time to confirm, but I have never seen a site to cancel a deposit
withdrawals, yes Smiley but never a deposit
in any case I'm withdrawing the money since I'm in no mood to gamble now

waiting for a response from support since Friday
I had a pending deposit with a low fee,it has been pending for quite a long time
finally it has been confirmed, imagine my surprise when I  logged in to Duckdice
to only see that deposit was ...manually cancelled by admin

https://blockchain.info/tx/c7cfbac274ffac2df3ca75f84a541120f9f01c71f6181ab3496ff7b27a4a0ebb

I don't even want to ask why would a pending deposit be cancelled at all
especially given the current state of the blockchain, but not to answer a support letter for more than 2 days is
something new and is safedice worthy  Grin
anyways, waiting for my 800k to be credited, thank you in advance

sent a copy to duckdice's admin account here

This is the first time I see an issue like this where player's deposit is canceled manually by the admin. Do they think that your deposit is considered like a double spent attempt because of the low fee? Even if they think like that then I think they should not cancel your deposit, they should only wait until 1 confirmation or more to credit your account balance.
Is there no active admin on the chat during weekends who can help you to solve this?

no response in chat or email or here yet
still waiting to get a response and explanation and my deposit credited
never had an issue with duckdice, but this is getting annoying
why have support if they do not respond for days
2712  Economy / Gambling / Re: what the most honest casino ,provably fair that accept bitcoin? on: January 28, 2018, 03:17:24 PM

2713  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: sent a transaction from jaxx wallet and disappeared? on: January 28, 2018, 02:30:33 PM
Jaxx wallet has too many problems, constant complaints about funds disappearing, bugs etc.
I dislike Jaxx so I may sound biased-I would suggest using the latest Electrum instead,it is much better in terms of security and
only had one vulnerability/bug that resulted in no reported hacks or funds go amiss
it is fixed in the latest version,so drop Jaxx and migrate to one of the wallets with less problems
be it electrum, mycellium or any other, you would be better off than staying with Jaxx
2714  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: What coins are supported by Ledger Nano S? on: January 28, 2018, 11:55:23 AM
Both of those explorers seem to show the same transfers? BAT and RAC tokens...

Not sure what the issue is? Perhaps the first explorer was just a bit slow?

yes but it took more 24h to appears in ethplorer.io/
and the bat appeared on ethplorer.io/ of old adress
now it ok, still dont know why but no matter

it is normal, sometimes certain explorers do not display transactions at all
or have big delays, like in your case
it causes panic, especially among new bitcoin/etherium users, when they cannot see their transaction on the network
but it comes up sooner or later and sometimes you have to switch to a different explorer (or try 3-4 different ones) to see it
2715  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Why are transactions much faster now? on: January 28, 2018, 10:53:38 AM
(IIRC) the hashing power increased by ~20% in the last few weeks, lower transaction volume and the mempool is empty again[1].

P.S: That's a good time to move your funds to a Segwit address. Do it!

[1] https://dedi.jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#24h

I actually witnessed same thing and I was surprised when I was about to login into blockchain, I didn't get the normal notification of the network is full at this moment and the likes. Then I tried sending to my surprise 1.75$ equivalent in BTC was the amount to be paid as fees for the regular option which is really surprising but I thought I was only one not knowing s lot of people want answers.

I agree this is just the best time to move to SegWit as suggested by you because we don't know what might happen to the pool by next week then people use that as an excuse not to move to SegWit. This is hope that it can only get better moving to SegWit then lightning network.

I would like to ask one question more: why has the hashing power increased in the past weeks?

Hash power is always increasing as more ASICs are manufactured. The supply of ASICS is the limiting factor as at today's prices mining Bitcoin will be profitable.

https://blockchain.info/charts/hash-rate?timespan=2years

The balancing factor is the difficulty. This adjustment occurs every 2016 blocks and the most recent one has just hapenned. The result of this is that blocks will now be found a little more slowly and fees will probably increase again over the next few days.

This is another discouraging news it means there is no time to waste. Wink

do you see the spikes on the graph?
starting around August and going through October,November,December 2017 and happening every now and then quite consistently?
this is when Bitcoin Cash mining is way more profitable than mining bitcoins
so lot of hash power is diverted towards mining BCH,thus creating a sudden drop in the hashrate for bitcoin and longer times between the blocks
cause of this the mempool is slowly clogging up and transactions are becoming more and more expensive
it has been better lately with the bitcoin price not so volatile and bitcoin cash dropping price, but this is a factor to consider still

2717  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Legal Status of Bitcoin in the UAE on: January 27, 2018, 12:17:52 PM
What is The Legal Status of Bitcoin in the United Arab Emirates? If yes then is there any rules on digital currencies?

unregulated,neither banned or legal,
you can read this article for more reference:
https://www.al-mirsal.com/2017/02/16/the-legal-status-of-bitcoin-in-the-united-arab-emirates/

"1 February 2017, the Governor of the UAE central bank, His Excellency Mubarak Rashed Khamis Al Mansouri, issued a statement to Gulf News saying that “these regulations do not cover ‘virtual currency’” and “these regulations do not apply to bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies, currency exchanges, or underlying technology such as Blockchain.” He further added that virtual currencies are under review by the Central Bank and new regulations will be issued as appropriate."

2718  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why has China declared war on bitcoin and digital currencies? on: January 27, 2018, 12:01:42 PM
to understand why ,one has to look at the global politics and what is going on in the world at the moment
China is trying to establish itself as one of the superpowers, challenging the US on every front
bitcoins and cryptocurrencies in general allow money to escape the regulations
people and companies are able to move millions of dollars literally undetected and uncontrolled
it can lead to many bad things including risks to the current regime in power
2719  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is bitcoin legal in Pakistan? on: January 27, 2018, 11:46:09 AM
it is in grey area as in the majority of other countries in the world
i.e. it is not prohibited like in Venezuela,Bolivia,Ecuador,Bangladesh,Kyrgyzstan,Nepal
or regulated/legal as in Japan,South Korea,USA(not every state),Canada etc.
menas that if you live in Pakistan you do not have to pay taxes
but you are also not protected in case your bitcoins are stolen or lost due to a scam

"
Auction ended, final result:
Slots BTC/Slot Person

1 0.18 FortuneJack
4 0.16 Stunna
"

итого: 0.88+0.18+0.64=1.7 биткоина за 10 (+-) дней,около 5 биткоинов в месяц
думаю 55.000$ в месяц достаточный заработок для форума
я не считаю другие источники дохода,чисто рекламные блоки
