I can't even imagine betting such a huge amount on a dice game. But some of these guys are so crazy about gambling and ready to lose so huge amount if luck doesn't support.
Even though these guys are early adopters of Bitcoins but still it is a huge money at the current market price. Anyway, congratulations to winner and
Not all high rollers are early adopters, some of the high rollers buy bitcoins to gamble. he might've bought it who knows, we can't say for sure. I just said based on my common sense because no one wants to spend so much money to play online dice game. If they are so much craze about gambling then mostly they will choose to go to real casinos to play with a huge amount. I also early investor to LTC and got more LTC coins so sometimes I spend more of these coins playing dice than Bitcoins. Richer people gamble more money at real casinos with a much higher house edge all the time. It isn't inconceivable that a high roller would appreciate a 1% house edge from the comfort of their own home enough to wager just as much online. The edge alone is higher, however this doesn’t account for perks that physical casinos offer, which makes their effective house edge lower. The experience that physical casinos can offer will often trump the difference in the house edge.

I believe there is not much different between online and offline, so if there is early adopter which is holding like 10k of btc, I do not think it is impossible for them to spend like 1k just to gamble here. For them, to have more coin means pretty high risk too to hold it for that long, so spend it on gambling will be the best way

Why would you think people are not going that high on betting online?
If I'm the one want to deposit huge money on online gambling site even though it is trusted site but still think that what if casino don't pay me back my winnings for a huge amount? I believe there is not much different between online and offline, so if there is early adopter which is holding like 10k of btc, I do not think it is impossible for them to spend like 1k just to gamble here. Why do you think that anyone will scare or worry about holding a huge number of bitcoins for a long term? The best part of these cryptocurrencies is no one can trace who is the owner of those coins then why anyone need to worry? Just because got more coins people will not waste money on gambling. if you want to spend your coins you can spend them to buy anything then why only gambling?

Seeing bets range from 1 BTC to more than I can imagine will let me think that they are really owners of Bitcoin when they were once cheap. From issues such as withdrawals and deposits that are not reflecting to your account I think that early adopters are the ones who can comfortably risk their money.

My guess is they are some old adopter of Bitcoin and they got probably 10,000 BTC in their cold storage somewhere.
On Reddit there is some Pineapple fund where some anonymous old adopter basically is donating millions of BTC to open source charities and software companies.
There is another girl who donated like $1,000,000 to Andreas. Basically she was waiting for Roger Ver to send the other half million, he never did, so she sent him the other $500,000.
And these were just donations. So someone gambling these amount is not really that much strange.

I imagine there's a lot of regulation trying to purchase over a million $ worth of BTC. Not all high rollers are early adopters, some of the high rollers buy bitcoins to gamble. he might've bought it who knows, we can't say for sure. So do you really think that millionaires will sit in front of a computer and play millions of dollars worth of coins which they invested ,i really do not think so,they will head out and play in a real casino if they are dealing with millions of dollars and most of the players online who wage big amount of money are actually early adapters . Congrats on the crazy win. Why the hell would they gamble in a "real" casino? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=51bc1ypNsrU I can't even imagine betting such a huge amount on a dice game. But some of these guys are so crazy about gambling and ready to lose so huge amount if luck doesn't support.

In general, every promo which give a benefit for players should be appreciated and players should take the promo no matter the amount is.

PrimeDice was my favorite site to play a while ago, I'm sure some people remember me since I was active in the chat and my username is the same as it is here. Reading these recent posts here made me want to return to the site and try my luck again.

The player might be a old player coming in under new user name just to avoid attraction,it is highly possible, hufflepuff is a different case as he manipulated the system to win the coins, there were many players who won a lot after that but this is a different thing because the price during these rolls were well above $10000 and so it gained some popularity.

That since he was a new user that he must of cheated to win that much BTC somehow? Do you know how provably fair works with dice? Basically it's impossible to cheat. Only way to cheat would be if somehow Primedice leaked its unhashed key somehow due to some exploit. However this is very rare. This happened once last year with some ETH betting site, can't recall the name. Basically the unhashed seed was displayed and the guy tried to cheat but got caught because every bet he made was large and resulted in 100% win rate. The admin knew something was up and froze his account.

The prime dice hack happened because he did have the key as he was testing the site before hand and they forgot to change the key and so is the reason he got away with it,but how did the said ETH sites displayed their unhashed seed,i really cannot understand that part, what ever,if you are winning big amounts of coins they team will be double checking the play and would allow you to withdraw only after verification.

What I meant was that I'm glad for him/her winning that much so fast and that I really hope it was fair from their side because it's hard to believe in such luck. I do know how provably fair works with dice. That's how HufflePuff exploited Primedice's RNG system: he was able to get the unhashed server seed before making the bets. I didn't mean these guys did the same though.

Yeah I forgot about that prime dice exploit that Hufflepuff and Nappa exploited. If I recall this exploit was possible with the new version of PD that was released at that time , I think it was PD3. Basically that dude was betting crazy amounts and people assumed he must be cheating, but at the time the devs assumed it was just pure luck and let him withdraw. Later they looked at their server logs and found out that he actually cheated. I think he stole like $1 million dollars or so but it was like 2000 btc at the time .

Hi, one user is equivalent to one winner regardless of the number of entries he/she submitted. So 40 winners = 40 different users
