^ I like your picks except for the Orlando Magic vs New Orleans Pelicans pick. Orlando is basically tanking to try and get the first pick and CJ McCollum I think is enough for the Pelicans to beat them. We’ll see. When a team is tanking though I never like to give them the benefit of the doubt. There’s no way I’d place a bet for the Magic or the Rockets this season. They just seem way too likely to lose intentionally. I'd say I'm right with OG on this one, the Pelicans seem to be on another level entirely, and he's pointed out even without Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson, CJ McCollum is literally just enough to facilitate a win for the Pelicans. _______ I'd also love to take the Clippers spread, but I'd have to wait until the lineup is available before making my call, or I'll just settle for the overs without second thoughts, due to how heavy the Spurs have been allowing into the net on their own end of the court. It has been reported that Paul George will play in this game, so I will go with the Clippers on this one, to finally end their losing skid -6.5 @1.88 Cavs vs Warriors - GSW have had issues on the road, and as I see, 8.5 @2.28 is not that bad bet so I'll take that risk. Jazz vs Nets - Jazz at home, -5.5 @1.96. Nets out of shape, Kyrie can't bring the team and carry it to his shoulder. That's the game that I will go and bet pre-game. Best of luck. Nice catch with the Warriors +8.5, I hope you had a bit on the absolute value of the Warriors ML too ? They were able to win the game with all explosiveness of Jordan Poole. Orlando Magic with a little surprise of their own too, the starters weren't doing too well and looks like it was going to be a W for the Pelicans until the Orlando Magic had their 2nd unit on the floor, and they took over completely and the coach just had to let the 2nd unit complete the job, Paolo Banchero the No 1 overall draft pick didn't even come on to the court for the entire 4th Quarter, what a show!

Martial is also heading out of my team, the only decision to be made is for whom. perhaps, it's finally time to get that so due Arsenal player I've been longing for or the Newcastle returnee Alexander Isak.
Martial has been inconsistent for years now under various managers; he is one of those potential players who never live up to expectations; it is time for him to move on to a lower team with less pressure and expectations in order to rebuild his career. I used to want him on my team, but I'm glad the transfer never happened. I am seeing that differently, Martial is a great player but has a lot of problems with injuries which has held him back in the career. Sort of same like Wilson. Type of player that always loooks good when playing at 100 percent but almost never able to play at that 100 percent. So who is your captain this week? I am thinking of Kane instead of Haaland this week. Spurs against Fulham should be full of goals. I probably could have been tempted with Salah, only if there fixture were to kind enough, but I won't be throwing the stone towards Kane, because even while gets points often and usually they're single digit, so I'm really not cool with that, I literally could live with my opponents getting 7 points from their captain week in, week out, but an haul from Haaland has cost me way to many times already to ignore the fact that just one good week is enough for him to make up for 3-4 bad ones, and 1 goal in a game week seem more like an horrible week for Haaland, while we'll be fine with Kane as captain just managing to secure an assist. I don't think I'm shipping out KDB for the time too, I'd rather dropped him to the bench before their upcoming DGW again, but I'm foreseeing some trouble in paradise at Manchester City.

I thought Man City were the dumb team, but it turns out that Tottenham are actually much more dumber than City themselves, at least City and Pep were able to escape this humiliation, It sure would have put additional dent on their supposed title chase, but I guess the fixture against Arsenal in few weeks will probably settle that issue. It was a complete turnaround, so It's deserving at the end of the day, right ?
Anyone read Pep's comments after the game? Can't remember him being that livid/nonsensical. Hopefully Arsenal's 5-point lead is intact when they take on City though... I can't remember the last time I saw Pep being that furious as well too, and especially not about the officials or VAR teams or his opponents being overly favored, but he was being livid at his own players, and I can't help but agree with on some certain statements especially the point of the team being overly relaxed and the lack of desire/passion from them, I think that's says a lot about the way he has rotated his squad since the league resumption of the world cup, perhaps some of the players are tired, or some of them actually feel they've achieved all there is to achieve within 5 years, and you can arguably tell that even if the players he uses often now aren't technically better than those on the bench, their passion and hunger for success is what is driving them, and that's the number one factor has Arsenal seemed to have this season, it's the hunger, not players with distinctive individual brilliance, and that's another part I'd agree with Guardiola with, just like when Leicester went all the way to surprise the whole world!

it is not an easy decision who to put in, but Martial is certainly on way out still thinking about DGW decisions, almost none gave me anything tangible, and lost several free transfers, is it right time to get Pope back after having Kepa for few rounds, and against Liverpool will be a tough time to keep clean sheet Salah future in my team is also questionable With what I saw Guardiola did yesterday, I would rather have Salah than De Bruyne, because I'm very sure Salah would always have 90 minutes when fit, but with De Bruyne, I'm not sure I can say the same of De Bruyne. Martial is already out of my team, I would have gone with Weghorst because I was rather impressed with what I saw versus Crystal Palace, but then Man United are not very high scoring team so I'm very fine with just two of Man United players now.

That's literally Tottenham being 2 goals up just within less than 4 minutes, I could have said I saw this coming and now I guess I couldn't have been more right about my prediction of both teams to score and Tottenham not to lose the game, now that's even Guardiola can come up with a plan to get at least one goal as well.
Aaaand it's all gone in 15 minutes or so. Kulusevski's proving Spurs need him in the team, first half actually powered and steamed over City like paper, but now they've flipped their tune and played a crap second half. Turning off now after City lead... thought I had a really nice 9/1 bet on Spurs booked but it's all gone to water now heh. Who knows, 2 more goals before the game ends? I'll wake up tomorrow and find out. Was a great title challenge by Man Utd (for the whole 4 days they were in it ). I think Arsenal are going to roll over them on the weekend, I hope so any way. There was too much chest thumping from Man Utd fans & media guys. Let’s have them put back in their box where they belong I don't think anybody will roll over this United squad, they clicked together and they are defending impressively. United was always the club that plays easier when other club is dominating possession and they can counter attack, so Arsenal is arguably quite good match up for them. When I say always I am talking about last couple of years not that Ferguson machine that won everything. City - Spurs tonight could be a good game and I am thinking City draught stops tonight. Spurs have been quite poor in defense this season and I don't see a way how City doesn't score at least a couple of goals tonight. With De Bruyne being dropped to the bench by Pep, I really don't know what to expect of the team to be honest, not even Foden, Cancelo or Bernardo Silva makes the starting lineup, So whatever reservations I initially had of this fixture is already subdued by Pep's choice of selection. So now I'm pretty much opened to both teams to score and Tottenham to not lose the game 🙂

ten Hag seems quite eager to keep Harry Maguire in the team now. West Ham's recent loan offer has been rejected by Manchester United side.
I think they did the right thing by not sending him in this transfer window. Because in that case they will need to fill his place with another defender. It is quite difficult to sign a solid defender in the middle of the season. Maybe they were going to rush things in the last days of the transfer window and make a bad move. I'm not a fan of Maguire though. I still expect him to leave at some point but it shouldn't be right now.
As far as I know, Maguire didn't perform well since he joined Man United. So, why Ten Hag really wants to keep him on Man United squad? It seems a bit strange to me, Maguire isn't the key player for Man United and having him doesn't impact significantly. If Ten Hag wants good substituted defenders, he can look for new defenders who have a more potentil future than Maguire. I don't see any benefit to keeping Maguire, he is better to be loaned or sold to another team. Well, you are right that probably Ten Hag doesn't have enough time to find a new defender to replace Maguire position. But if he already planned it a few months ago, he must target and may sign already new defenders before this January transfer season started. It is a bit late if Ten Hag just think to find new defenders now. Maguire doesn't seem to be more than just backup for Ten Haag, so he's only being kept at the club just for emergency purposes, I understand that Harry Maguire have been nothing but extremely awful at Man United, but he was and is a better player when representing the England national team, so he might turnout to be just a good defender that he used to be, if he should leave the club. Ten Haag seemed to have found a better defensive partnership with pairing Luke Shaw and Raphael Varane at the centre back, but it is to be seen if that partnership is better off than one with Linsadro Martinez.

A couple of televised games on ESPN tonight. The first one is between the Hawks and Mavericks. Not too exciting but at least there’s Luka and Trae. The later game between the Timberwolves and Nuggets is a great one to watch. Both of these teams are young and hungry. There should be some nice highlights and good competition. The Joker seems like he’s back at full strength after his last performance.
I find the first game more exciting than the Wolves vs Nuggets game because honestly, I am not expecting that it will be a close game, most likely, the Nuggets will just dominate again and will win by a huge margin. Well, I hope I'm wrong though so we will see an exciting game. I believe you also got your wish, as both televised game literally very interesting, I think I enjoy the Denver Nuggets vs Timberwolves a bit more, even though Denver Nuggets won the game with 9-0 in the last two 2 minutes or thereabout they were given an intense run for their money, I for a few moments thought Timberwolves were going to secure the win, despite being ahead since late in the first half and never looked back, but Nuggets did a very solid defensive task on Anthony Edwards for almost the entirety of the second half as they kept him very silent. The Nuggets also played a very fantastic clutch game, even with Nikola Jokic in foul troubles having 5 fouls and needed to sit until the final minutes, Jamal Murray stepped up very well and was vital in the Nuggets getting the win.

Live betting, NYK vs Washington Wizards, NYK is behind right now end of second quarter, so I will put a bet on them ML at 2.30 odds.
They are behind a double digit now, I have that was a good bet and they will come back to win. They are at home, so they should have the inspiration to come back and make it a close game, that value you get is good since they are -5.5 before the game. New York Knicks eventually couldn't come back from the deficit and lost the game by 11 points, Only Jalen Brunson couldn't do the lifting, Maybe it could actually have happened he had significant helping hands like that of Julius Randle, who's performance was below what I expected of him, or we could all just agree that the Washington Wizards were just the better side, and they most their guys back, I mean the likes of Bradley Beal and Monte Morris, both payers played an important role helping down the stretch of the game. ______________ Currently watching the Denver Nuggets vs Minnesota Timberwolves, It is an intense games with Nikola Jokic already giving off some MVP standard performance, with all 3 statistically important display, it's just a 3-points difference between both teams, Timberwolves with advantage and just less than 15 secs left before halftime.

Finally Bundesliga returns, we had last game there more than 2 months ago and these months looked like forever. And what a great first game after return - Leipzig - Bayern. I already left my prediction for it, just in case if I will forget to do it on Friday. Remember when we discussed about Bayern looking replacement for Neuer. So, after all, it seems that it will be Yan Sommer, he will move to Bayern for €8m. I think he deserved to get chance in such club like Bayern, but for me it would be very interesting to see Livakovic there. Yan Sommer deserved the move and he's done really well in the league over the years so it was an easy decision to make for Bayern Munich, but my only concern is his age, he's also 34 years old already, just 2 years younger than injured Manuel Neuer, so he's also approaching the imminent end of his career too, so he could just be a temporary fix for the team. We'll be kicking off with an interesting fixture after such a long break, Bayern Munich vs Leipzig, that should be an easy BTTS game, especially with how long both team have played any competitive game, and while Bayern Munich are much more in some injury crises as well.

United's hitting a rich vein of form, how I wish they'd kept Ronaldo and Rangnick or Ole longer haha...
Imagine Arsenal and Manchester United, two Europa League merchants, competing for the EPL title. Nah, that doesn't make sense. These teams aren't impressing me in the slightest; instead, they're just taking advantage of Chelsea, LiVARpool, and City's inconsistency to have a bragging right, haha. I really miss Ole and Ronaldo, and I wish they had never picked this bald coach. pain And what impresses me the most about both coaches is that they doing all their stunning performance with players you'd have considered less significant individually except a couple of them, while the power houses that have spent hundred of millions money on transfers to increase their squad depth are still the ones struggling. Man United probably didn't do well enough to earned the win imo, so the result seems rather very fair to me, I had Man United to win 2-1, but at least I would have gotten 1.5 points if they kept the lead.

~snip I guess Wout and Martial will share the minutes and that makes both of them not good choices. Rashford is enough to cover United attack.
agree here, Martial is on road out from my team he did not proved worth it, but did not want to send him for -4 points, so he stayed for a DGW (which will probably be not worth it, since he is questionable for tonight) Rashford on the other hand could be good for goals tonight, United is in strike and clean sheet would be great, although Shaw is now almost in every team, so no value there Martial fitness and injury is of the uttermost concern, all I need is to see how Wout Weghorst fares tonight, since he's been slotted right into the ahead of injured Anthony Martial. Martial is also heading out of my team, the only decision to be made is for whom. perhaps, it's finally time to get that so due Arsenal player I've been longing for or the Newcastle returnee Alexander Isak.

Everyone bet on Brooklyn, but they lost. If I had bet last night, I would have bet on Brooklyn. I forgot to bet last night I believe that most people had no idea that Kyrie wouldn't be playing for the game, but what I understand is how the bookies still deemed the Brooklyn Nets as the favorites despite being fully aware that Kyrie would be out, because Kyrie was ruled out of the game, Nets were still the favorites to win the game, I'm sure that's probably the trap most people fell for, the 2nd unit of the Brooklyn Nets were just out of sync and looked like real amateurs.

Haaland effective ownership is so high that if you own Haaland you are actually hoping he will not score. Every point he gets can only cost you rank. Beautiful game FPL. Too make things even worse if you captained Haaland chances are you are again loosing your rank. Only those that used triple captain on Haaland should cheer for him at this point. We've seen this scenario before; remember when G. Jesus broke the FPL record for most owned player? When he was a must-have and the only player with the highest point total every week? That didn't last long, and I believe that after this DGW, many managers will reconsider their captaincy options, or perhaps a different striker with low ownership who starts every game. Darwin was that perfect guy, he plays every game, he has low ownership in a big club, but he shit us for months. I'm sure in the next few games, the captaincy will begin to switch once we getting multiple other options and Haaland begins to blank every other game, or Guardiola fixtures is starting to get the better of him as well. With Wout Weghorst signing for Man United, I might just have to let go of Anthony Martial, even though I'm not really sure he'd fit into Ten Haag plans, because Ten Haag is highly interested in frontline fluidity and wouldn't like the idea of an isolated No 9, that's the only impression I have of him liking Anthony Martial as his first choice No 9, and Rashford is very much more important to the team on the free role behind the strikers/flanks than being the point man centre forward.

I still have quite some hope to make something off this game week, because of the second games, Haaland should be make his mark against Tottenham, an hattrick ?
I hope I see 4 goals in his performance The only downside and ineffectiveness of the number of goals or points Haaland gets to score is that everyone else likely have him as their captain, it will only be slightly beneficial to those who played the triple captain chip. I still have quite some hope to make something off this game week, because of the second games, Haaland should be make his mark against Tottenham, an hattrick ?
Tottenham have one of the league's worst defenses, the keeper and defenders can't stop making stupid mistakes, I expected a tight game from them yesterday but what I saw was a complete disaster, I won't be surprised if Halaand breaks his goal drought with a brace or hattrick against them, it's very possible. I would have to agree with you on Tottenham being a pathetic team defensively and Man City could really take that to their own advantage, and there probably wouldn't be a better way to get back from their defeat at Man United thank to take it out on Conte's men. I'm actually looking to the lineup Guardiola will setup against Tottenham, if he'll still with the lineup he played against Man Utd, or perhaps, we'll get to witness another Guardiola's experimental XI.
