Here's my pick:

Magic vs Pistons, - I'm taking the Magic -6.5 @1.86
Cavs vs Nuggets - I think Murray and Aaron Gordon is out in this game that's why the Cavs are the favorite -2.5 @ 1.90

I also took the parlay, @3.53.

It's 0/2 for you tonight, sorry mate, some days are just like that, Orlando Magic really didn't take complete charge of the game, even though they did at some point led by as many as 13 point during the 3rd quarter, that was literally the only time they had at least 7 or more points lead, it's pretty much a close game from the very start to finsih.

Jamal Murray actually suited up for the Denver Nuggets and we could say he's one of the reasons you lost the second bet, because he was very instrumental for Nuggets getting the win tonight, although Donovan Mitchel also wasn't at his usual best for the Cavaliers too, he played way worse and nothing compared to the Donovan Mitchel we saw at the All Star Games night.

After the humiliation at Anfield last night is anyone probably reconsidering tripling in on Liverpool players, especially having a lot about people getting TAA, what if their win in the league over the weekend is another glitch in the matrix, like the 9-0 nil victory they had earlier into the season.

You guys would be disappointed in me for shamelessly bringing back Darwin in to my team after I dumped him into the bin a few weeks ago, but I couldn't ignore the fact that he's a better option than Kane and Halaand at the moment with a DGW advantage. I activated wildcard, and yes, I was bold enough to sign three Liverpool players into my team. (Trent, Darwin and Salah )

There are just too many ifs and but surrounding my team that have prevented me from making drastic sales, and the first if is the issue of budget, I would have loved to get rid of Tripier, Rashford and Shaw just for the next 2-3 games weeks and I would gladly taken the -8 points hit for that, but with my current budget and these players prizes, I would be needing an extra 1.1m to bring them back in at that point provided they don't have another prize fluctuation before then, it is as explained below;

Player            Current Selling prize** - Current Buying Prize
Shaw                      5.1m                               5.4m
Rashford                 6.9m                               7.3m
Trippier                   5.6m                               6.0m

**It varies with each team, depending on how long you've had a player and the increment is value had acquire since you had them.
So, regardless of how difficult their fixtures are can I afford 1.1m deficit and have a decent squad for the final run of the season, because I'm sure none of the players I'll bring in will return the same squad value even if I get some points advantage at the end of the day, and the fact that both Man United and Newcastle are bound to also have their dgw soon  is another indication that I'll probably need to bring in these said players again sooner rather than later, but then there is also strong case of emphasizing on the fixture at hand rather than some 4 weeks in advance because even all these said players could get injured or whatnot before then, so it's really a delicate situation that must be thread with caution, and however it might have been easier to stay conservative if you have a huge lead over your peers, but this is also one of the best chances to chase points aggressively to bridge gaps. So, damn trick situation, it is much more easier to just decide to go with a 2-0, 2-1 prediction than making decisions in this brain wrecking maze.

San Antonio vs Dallas -13.5
I haven't seen Dallas win a game yet with Kyrie and Luka playing together, so I might as well still bet against them. I'm taking the other side and placing a bigger bet compared to my bet on the moneyline.

Irving's agent signed him up with Dallas just to get him out of all issues he had within the Brooklyn organization and among the fans.
Every sports show post trade, all broadcasters were questioning what if any reasonable explanation could be seen with this trade.
But to many including myself are interested in the betting opportunity this presents itself if this experiment fails.
I will be making a ML bet on the Spurs because I think the bookies expect way too much of a Kyrie and Luka cohesion so late into the season.

Even though I might not be backing the San Antonio Spurs on ML, I also believe Kyrie and Doncic playing together is absurd reason to undermine the Spurs that much, they've also lost a number of key players before the trade deadline themselves, but currently -14.5 for the Spurs outright is just purely absurd imo too, so that's a bet I'm definitely not going to say no to as well.

Currently sitting in 40th place out of 61.

Something positive to take away from this is that at least Liverpool are performing better than you,  Grin

I'm currently sitting 22nd, but honestly there are some fine margins between these positions, a couple good game weeks and you're back in the bigger picture, but it's getting harder since were approaching the final third of the season.

I'm currently sitting 1 point above you and just 15 points below the first place with more than 50 points to fight for, it's still an open race for everyone, this is not like a knockout game where each round gets harder as it goes on. It's an interesting fact that 4 exact score lines get you back to the top 10 and 4 bad results get you rocking the bottom.

That's how the thing goes, that's why it's often best to try as much as possible to maintain a specific momentum, even if it's not at the highest level or pace, it's rather better to not try to chase not so feasible result every week just trying to chase the every gap between participant, I'm still never paying much attention to the leaderboard, but when we get about weeks left I'll check what's left to play for and what not, until then it's just guts, logic or pure statistical, perhaps a combination of the 3 to make a decision for me.

Any luck with today bets in Champions League?
Gvardiol scored a goal and gave hope to Leipzig in second leg, but I think Manchester City will dominate at home stadium.
I knew we are going to see one surprise today but I expected to see more goals in both matches.
Some players made a great jump in positions this round, congrats Casper on yellow cap!

I was only able to move a couple of places, 5 places to be precise, but I don't think it's anything worth cheering about because It's still near impossible to get closer to any of the top 10 and round 16 is about the easiest chances to get close afterwards, it's becomes even tougher to get a point advantage over other competitors except you're going against the consensus and hope it works out.

Nice round win @Casper, 4 exact scores from the last 5 fixtures is definitely no fluke, congratulations!

Hmm. Was sure I wrote here already but either I deleted it or didn't submit.

Right well. I did a really dumb FPL move, was playing around with teams and used my free hit to bring back all the double game week players, but forgot to move out my United players (whoops). So I have 4 idiots on my bench all not playing, what a waste of the free hit haha.

Question: If I reorganise my team, is this free hit still in play even if I already saved and confirmed? Want to try but don't want to risk Wink

As per the FPL website Just like the Wildcard, the Free Hit is used when confirming transfers. It cannot be cancelled once confirmed. However, I believe until the deadline of that game week, whatever changes you want to make are still being covered by either of the two chip you used.

Liverpool becomes the first English Premier League club to exit the UCL because there is no way to outscore Real Madrid at home.

the worse round for me, ive lost 3 places since already. went with both teams to win.

It only gets tougher with time, and as the competition and moving up places and dropping places becomes harder you know after each knockout, at this stage you just can't be sure of anything, Napoli was quite an easy pick for almost anyone right, but given Club Brugge record at the group stages, I expected to score at least a goal, that's why I went with 2-1 pick for Napoli. I went with a draw for the game at Anfield, little did I know both teams have their own different choice of drama to display.

Liverpool could be probably win the game in Spain, and I'll be backing them to win if the Odds are 3-4 Odds issh, but their chances of qualification is the only possibility I'm ruling out already without mincing words.

I mean, I'm only doing better because most likely the 2 guys below me aren't even putting picks anymore =D
My picks might be awful, but I did win Yellow Cap few rounds ago  Grin

I didn't even know I'm the yellow cap winner for the just concluded round, I was just trying to check out on how I fared in the CL pool with my picks, only to find the Yellow Cap next to name on SuperBRU  Grin and I'm still second place on the overall leaderboard, despite not paying attention to league, while I'm tanking awfully in the competitions I dedicate most of time to.

An amazing result (Real Madrid again! how I love it!) but there is also a sad part - don't you think this is the end of Klopp's Liverpool?
Winning at the Santiago Bernabéu by 4 goals is hardly possible, which means Liverpool are leaving the Champions League and have a slim chance of getting into it next year. Time to look for a new coach?

By the way, got another $20 from betnomi with a personal alert from betnomi. Thanks a lot! I'll try to make my bets memorable  Roll Eyes Cheesy

A 3 goals win at the Santiago Bernabéu for Liverpool would send the game into extra time, but how can be so sure of that chances , if they couldn't even take a advantage 2 goals lead on with their home crowd it's full effect, how can we expect more than what transpired tonight from the return leg, It's football and anything can happen, but sometimes optimism can only lead to further high expectation hence, even more disappointment.

Bookies are disrespectful of Napoli though. I'm pleased, because I've been spamming Napoli on my tickets and they've seldom let me down. It's a huge boost to a few of my accas (not to mention I need them to win to help register my freebet as a win heh).

Haha, same here. The odds of @2.20 on Napoli are quite a joke, but that's nothing we can't take advantage of, haha. Eintracht Frankfurt is playing a relatively solid season in the Bundesliga, but I can't imagine that they can keep up tonight. That's why I think that tonight's game will be quite clear. Frankfurt will need a big portion of luck to grab some points tonight.
I am not so sure about Napoli tonight. They don't have experience playing games like this and Frankfurt will be perfectly happy to let them play and then take their chances on counters. There is also a fact that Napoli is better at home and they would be happy with draw tonight to let the fixture be settled on their home ground. I have went with both to score as I deemed it a bit safer choice but could also backfire if Napoli tries to play cautious game.

Both to score in Liverpool game should be free money today. That is my main tip for the evening.

Free money should be an understatement, after those two early goals from Liverpool, I knew both teams to score was pretty much a done deal, but Real Madrid are really scrappy right now, and Liverpool had better take the best advantage possible from Anfield today, we all quite remember the crazy stunt Real Madrid pulled over and over again at the knockout rounds last season, they should avoid putting themselves in the same situation today.

EDIT: My post is barely 3 minutes old, and Real Madrid have already gotten back on level terms!!

It's now game on!!

What are your thoughts on Salah and Trent for the DGW?

Salah must be first choice for sure, he is the only that will play 180 minutes unless some injury or red card happen. I can see all other attackers and both Trent & Robbo as minutes risk. They will play a lot but not 2 full games.

Problem is, Salah is so damn expensive so not easy to include in our mid. I want another Liverpool player as well but have no idea who will that be at this moment.

I really love the thoughts of Firmino or Diogo Jota from Liverpool but both players have only just returned from their injury spell so, I really can't pick one, but Nunez availability would hinder their game minutes imo, however from what I learnt today, Nunez have chances of facing Real Madrid, if that's the case there is huge possibility of him not start during the weekend, or playing maybe just only one of the double fixtures.

Trent is a no no for me still, especially due to the prize value he commands and I'll need the assurance that they'll stand a chance of a clean sheet at least before I can have a defender that costly.

Damian and Tatum went nuts.  Grin 2 wins.

Damn, I should've put all my money on that Over 324.5. It was a sure win with a lot of scores to spare.
Team Giannis won so congratulations to them. Jason Tatum is named the All-Star MVP. 55 points. Wow. Well, he had that kind of game even though he is being defended, what more when there is less defense? Was there a line for the All-Star MVP bet on other online sports bookies? I didn't see one yesterday.

That ends our All-Star event. I had a bit of fun, especially the dunk contest. I think it will be McClung who will always be remembered when the 2023 Utah All-Star is discussed.

I see almost everyone won their respective bets which is really good sign going forward to NBA proper in a couple of days from now.

The Over 324.5 bet felt like a steal for me, so I couldn't just resist it, However, I guess we need to thank Jason Tatum, Donovan Mitchel and Damian Lillard, because the bet won effortlessly due to numbers these players drop and those 3 points accuracy from deep, and these 3 players alone combined for 121 points from the total 184 that the team Giannis scored. Maybe, the game would have been a little bit different If Lebron James had come back into the game and an healthy Giannis would sure have also put up a show too, but it's too lave already.

Congratulations to all the winners once again!
1777  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 20, 2023, 01:11:27 AM
Though Team Lebron has a perfect record in NBA All-Star games, I am picking Team Giannis this year. I like the idea of the 3 leading MVP candidates teaming up together to win the All-star games. The trio Giannis-Embiid-Jokic will be interesting to watch. They should have no trouble controlling the boards and with Doncic and Morant with them, they do not have a problem with quickness or playmaking. I bet, Team Lebron will have a hard time winning this year, unless Giannis serves this game to Lebron in a silver platter.

Less than an hour before the game starts, let us enjoy everyone and good luck with your bets.

It's a coin flip as far as I believe, but then it's better to go with best value/odds right ? So I like your pick of Team Giannis, so I decided to go all out for the Overs instead, Over 325.5 @ 1.92 since there will a very little defensive plays, I just hope they keep getting the bucket.

Good luck!

Hi guys,

question no. 7 says:

7. Atletico Madrid was always known for their granite defense but this season is a bit different and we can see them conceding more than usual. They are hosting a good Ath. Bilbao team, will both teams score in this game?

My answer was "NO", they are not going to score both in this game, which was correct. The game ended 1-0 for Atletico. How is that answer wrong

There is nothing to worry about mate,

Probably a mistake, don't read to much into it just yet, I'm Trofo and Cryptofrka will take more than twice to go through the questions and every answers before the final table and scores are updated.

After some impressive Mahrez performance Guardiola still decided to drop him to the bench, maybe the only 3 players worth having on that roster is Ederson, KDB and Haaland, unless you want keep playing a good guessing game week in, week out.

this guessing game requires to much transfers IMO, and there are better options
had three City players due to double week, but will probably cut some in future weeks, Akanji and Mahrez had no time on the pitch this week at all

Rashford is probably best pick, considering price and form

Exactly, you really can't play mind gamess with Guardiola's team, he use certain players for the oddest reason and bench the best for no apparent reason.

I know people who regretting their decision of not keeping Haaland as their captain, I actually never considered him, especially with Man City facing one the teams with the most conceded goals, I could have overlooked Haaland, but had he been out injured, then Rashford would have been go to person without any form of doubt.

The weeks that would decided a lot of things are finally coming upon us gradually, and from blanks to dgw and to blanks again, these are finest margin to make the best decisions.

Pope was actually my go to keeper early part, and for a time considered putting back in but of course GK's my least urgent part of the team that needs fixing.

Rashford. What to say?

Nick Pope's time on my team has finally come to an end no doubt, but I'm more surprised you're still considering whether or not to bring in Rashford to your team ? Man has been very consistent lately and is worth more than is value.
