2709  Economy / Goods / Re: How much would you pay for this? on: April 04, 2016, 07:53:56 PM
I've produced and sold paracord goods before and what happens is that to turn it into a business you are competing with very cheap labor.  Unfortunately my time is worth more than what I would be able to make selling paracord tied items so I only do it for fun as I would need to outsource the tying to be profitable.

With the minimum wage going up in the US, these things are best tied by cheap labor because it's a highly competitive market.

I like the flexibility in colors/style/ball bearings that tying them myself offers, but again it is time consuming and one of the knots I tie is a monkey fist (still for sale!) which takes an exceptional amount of time for tightening.   Smiley

Another idea would be to build a machine that can tie your easiest knots that take the most time.  I've used jigs to speed things up but I always felt a "smart tying machine" was just around the corner and waiting for someone to build it.  Obviously the machine would most likely be suited for only one task/type of knot, but that's for the engineer to figure out.   Wink

2711  Economy / Goods / Re: New 3D printer for sale! on: April 04, 2016, 02:30:28 PM
You're giving us no proof that it works Tongue. Try posting a video of it 3D printing something. I think that would attract more attention than just pictures.

Agreed, I'd like to see a picture of the other completed unit (in reference to sale666's quote: "the old post I made and sold that 3D printer").

The one that is posted here looks like a 3D printer frame and not much else from the photos.  It may turn out to be a good unit when built and I am interested to see more information/pictures/videos as triple extruder sounds impressive.

What firmware do you run for these printers and what is the build area dimensions?

2716  Economy / Collectibles / Ravenbit NODE Bronze & Brass A - Address Lists on: April 01, 2016, 01:58:53 AM
Hopefully these lists will assist all the users who have requested their full public addresses while the Ravenbit site has been down.  If you haven't heard, Ravenbit has closed shop and taken their website offline.  By doing this they removed the address lists for their coin series which only had firstbits showing.  There are a couple other places on the internet where I believe these lists are saved but nowhere were they peer reviewed and kept unedited.

Here are the final copies of the Ravenbit NODE Bronze & Brass A address lists.  I invite you to compare them against your own for verification.

Ravenbit NODE Bronze - Address List
Ravenbit NODE Brass A - Address List

Both of these address lists will stay public & unedited on pastebin with a post date of Mar 31st, 2016.   Cool

BTCump, a couple more coins have been sold.
Happy to have purchased one.  Thanks for providing the public key from the offline list.  Glad to be a new member of the community!

You're quite welcome and I'm glad to see you have joined the forum!   Smiley
2718  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Tux Droid by Kysoh - Linux Penguin - Brand New - Rare, Discontinued, NIB on: March 28, 2016, 08:13:19 PM
Is the price firm? is the sale for fun or needed? I want this but $320 seems a little high

I respectfully ask that you do not quote my whole first post as I may change details within it.

I'm not aware of this item being posted anywhere else and the price is set at what I would be willing to let it go at currently.  The Tux Droid isn't a "toy" anymore, it's a collectors item.   Wink

This item is exceptionally rare and if anyone has a used one they would be willing to trade in exchange for the new one I would knock a decent amount off the price.
2719  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Vanitygen Output Address File Reader/Searcher/Aggregator Script on: March 27, 2016, 01:17:43 AM
I'm sharing my script which will allow you to search for specified Vanitygen output addresses in a directory or a single file.  The default directory is in the script and everything can be changed to your liking.

You can search for a single address in all files, an address in a single file, or for all addresses in a directory.

Quote
#Vanitygen output file reader/searcher/aggregator
#
#file output is achieved with the following command
#./vanitygen -f addressfind.txt -k -o address.txt
#
#USAGE - ./CHECKADDY.sh "1SEARCHADDRESS" "address_list.txt" /home/custom_addy_dir/
#usage using default DIR showing all addresses - ./CHECKADDY.sh
#usage with SEARCHTERM - ./CHECKADDY.sh "1Digicoin"
#usage define DIR - ./CHECKADDY.sh "1Digicoin" "" /home/bct/vanitygen-master/AFOUNDdir/
#usage using FILE and blank search term - ./CHECKADDY.sh "1Digicoin" address.txt

Create a file named "CHECKADDY.sh" on your Linux box using the below linked script and run with one of the above usage commands!

CHECKADDY.sh - Vanitygen Output File Address Search Script

This bash script was built in Linux, but should work fully on Windows 10 with Bash.

Sample usage searching for specific addresses in ALL files:
user@debkav:~# cd /home/bct/vanitygen-master/
user@debkav:/home/bct/vanitygen-master# ./CHECKADDY.sh "1Digi"
