2701  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for when Getting Stuck on: April 24, 2019, 09:18:18 PM
Your TA will tell you what to do. If the market is clearly going the other way, then it is better to cut your losses and start all over. If it is not, then wait for your trades to clear. It all boils out to how confident you are about your trades.
2702  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your quit point for Bitcoin price? on: April 24, 2019, 03:08:24 PM
Bitcoin having a low price is not an exit point, it is actually the opposite to me. It is accumulation time whenever bitcoin hits a low price. There is no point quitting when you know the true value of bitcoin if multiple times the current price. I have been holding for so long, it is already not practical to quit.
2703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: April 24, 2019, 11:32:04 AM
On the other hand, 76ers and Raptors finished the first round series already as they got the win against the Nets and Magic. The two will face on the next round. Whose your bet against the two Cheesy

This is a tough match. Both teams are performing very. This could go either way but my bet is it will be game 7 with raptors on the top.
2704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: April 24, 2019, 05:08:32 AM
MOnster game for Damian Lillard, 50 points and a buzzer beater at the end of the game ending OKC's playoff campaign. He is the man. OKC has the lead but blew it off in the last minute. That was a good game.
2705  Economy / Economics / Re: Have you figured out what you are Investing in? on: April 24, 2019, 04:17:05 AM
Majority of those who joined cryptocurrency in late 2017 was in for easy money but rode the hype. Thus, they got burned when the market started correcting the bubble. There will always be those newbies who will join because of hype. But I think by now, those who got burned in 2018 bear market has already learned their lesson and are more mature investors by now.
2706  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is heading back to $6k on: April 24, 2019, 03:14:17 AM
The golden cross is proving to be a good sign of the bull trend. Yeah, we are near to breaking the 6K resistance. It may happen anytime in the next 3 days. There may be some minor pullbacks before it will eventually break through 6K.
2707  Economy / Gambling / Re: RichCat - the first Monopoly game in Blockchain on: April 24, 2019, 02:03:33 AM
In the doc, it is not stated who I am playing against. Is it bot or real persons? It must be clear because I do not want to play against bots.

And the game is way too long. Two conditions have to be met to end the game, time which is 24 hours or 200 rolls, both in my opinion is way too long. I cannot spend that much time playing a game. I hope the devs or OP make this shorter.
2708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Know when to stop a HODL/HOLD on: April 24, 2019, 01:12:38 AM
It should be part of any investment: exit plan. Yeah, everyone here is saying hodl, especially for bitcoin but that does not work all the time. I believe there is more profit when you know when to exit an investment. But that also requires knowledge and a lot of reading for the current status of the coin you are holding. Exiting a HODL is not just cutting losses but also maximizing profit.
2709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance is Becoming a Crypto Monopoly on: April 24, 2019, 12:58:21 AM
They can play it whatever they want. In the end, they are still a centralized entity in a decentralized community. If ever we see them too powerful, they cannot stop the community from abandoning them. The community still have the real power. If we stop using their service, they are done.
2710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too much crypto payment projects but little people accepting crypto payments on: April 24, 2019, 12:01:19 AM
There is still a large need for adoption and legalization before more vendors accept bitcoin or crypto payments. This is given because cryptocurrency is still very young. But I think the projects trying to achieve this is a good step.

Regarding Paypal and crypto, it is definitely a bad fit.
2711  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Has anyone successfully used really high leverage or is that just gambling? on: April 23, 2019, 11:48:07 PM
It is a double edge sword. You can profit very quickly when you timed the right market but if you made the wrong prediction then it can also easily drain your funds away. Just use it if you are certain the market is going a definite direction which is very hard to predict in crypto market.
2712  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Im new i have a question about btc and eth on: April 23, 2019, 10:21:55 PM
Since you are trading EthBtc pair, you should not be concern of $  value of your coin. Focus on its bitcoin value. Since bitcoin is rapidly gaining value, your eth is losing against bitcoin.. You can still salvage this by trading eth to usd then buying bitcoin with usd. Let the bull run its course and convert to usd when its on its peak.
2713  Other / Off-topic / Re: World War III on: April 23, 2019, 09:41:34 PM
Possible. Reason: Everybody is fed up with china and wants to gang bang them.

It will be a bloody war and since technology is advance and weapons of mass destruction are available there will be a lot of deaths during this war. There is no winner on 3rd world war. Only death.
2714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with your Parents on: April 23, 2019, 06:17:56 PM
Will you do the same mistakes of my family or you will keep your kids or even yourself away from gambling?

As much as possible I would not let them near any gambling habits. But since we live in an environment where gambling is pretty much accepted, it is kind of impossible to do. The best I can do is to train my children to practice restraint. I will train them to have control so that they will not be addicted to it.
2715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: April 23, 2019, 05:36:49 PM
the Celtics and Bucks are looking very strong this season and both went 4-0 in the first round  Roll Eyes

Beside from GSW-HOU matchup in the second round, MIL - BOS is surely the next most exciting matchup in the second round. Between these two teams, my bet is on Celtics. They are 4th seed in East but they have experience and depth in role players.
2716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the 1st thing you'll do if you win Megah Moolah's jackpot? on: April 23, 2019, 05:19:24 PM
I will definitely retire if I win that kind of money. I have been working half of my life, so retiring and enjoying life would be the best way to spend that money. And of course, I will spend some on my parents and give some to charity.
2717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience & endurance on: April 23, 2019, 02:27:00 PM
Those two: Patience and endurance is only a product of knowledge and confidence on the crypto you buy. I see here that newbies who do not really know the crypto they are buying tend to panic sell when the market goes south. But experience crypto users who have deep knowledge on the crypto they are investing remains calm and endures the bear market.
2718  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your plan if you bought around all time high? on: April 23, 2019, 02:07:22 PM
I want to ask everyone who got into bitcoin towards the end of 2017 and is currently at a loss, like myself  Sad What will you do when the market goes up and you get your money back. Sell or just keep holding?
So you are holding until the price returns to the previous ATH? I say hold more until you at least have a 20% profit. You waited 2 years already, another year or two won't hurt.

But my advice to you:
Buy more right now while the price is still down. This will give you a good price for your average cost in your investments. This means you do not have to wait for the price to reach the previous ATH to realize a profit. If you buy at the current price, you only need to wait until the price to reach 12500 to be breakeven.

2719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The So Called Golden Cross! on: April 23, 2019, 11:58:16 AM
Golden cross is a very positive sign that a bull run is near But for bitcoin there is lots of factors to consider. Let us see how the market will react to this and if it can maintain its momentum upwards. The vibe is very positive for a bull trend. Hope it remains that way for a couple of weeks.
2720  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you disagree?? on: April 23, 2019, 11:45:02 AM
I agree with the fact that bitcoin its one its way to 6000$ but I'm not sure yet if the price is actually going to be at 15.000$ until the end of this year. I mean, bitcoin has proven signs of a bull run but this is still only the beginning and we are yet to see it happening so let's just not get happy to quickly

6K is the resistance that should be broken for the bull run to happen.  If we ever get pass 6k, it is possible to see a rapid growth in price. But just like you, I doubt we will reach 15k this year. Maximum I think is 10k. The golden cross for bitcoin is a positive sign that we are in an uptrend market.
