2721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AURORA "airdrop" - before and after March 25 on: March 25, 2014, 06:18:41 AM
And they will now say it is a failure because there is a good chance the price will go down right away. (once coins are actually sent to the exchanges) In reality it would be a success. The coins were premined and distributed to the people he said he would. It is up to them now to decide where the coin goes.

I would still consider the coin a success, at this point. I mean, just the press it has gotten ... news, politicians in Iceland... stuff most alt coins can only dream about.

I read one person already saying that because AUR worked out, other nation coins will become even more prominent (more than they already are), and likely those devs would scam people. I am sure they'll figure out something negative to say, regardless if it's based on fact or logic.
2722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AURORA "airdrop" - before and after March 25 on: March 25, 2014, 05:41:14 AM
Aurora was in national Icelandic news. Hundreds of Icelanders recieved their first coins already.

SO much fun proving fags like BCex they were wrong all the time. Even though they were secretly buying . Oh well.

I am looking so much forward to AUR actually get used and will cost like 100USD one ina month or two.

Although I'm not a big fan of nation coins, I do find it bizarre how so many automatically assume they are all scams ... especially AUR. Maybe part of it is the fact that so many involved in that shitcoin killing thread also makes shitcoins themselves, and to them, they wouldn't hesitate to walk off with the premine -- so assume other devs would too.

Either that, or partial jealousy that a coin is getting so much attention, and eating away at profits from their own coins or holdings.

Anyway, I do hope it works out for AUR. I think the value of the coin will actually go down, as people cash them out ... but at least the dev seems to be doing what he said he would.

How lucky are you?

Hey, have you read my post #1020 in this thread for the evidence showing MajorMiners is a liar? .. LOL

I am not sure if we can say MajorMiners is a liar, or playing the role of Bittrex, but it does certainly look like a fake account. I believe Bittrex did comment somewhere that someone was impersonating the exchange in the forums.

Shame you don't stick to normal posts, as I never said you didn't have any valid points at all, back in the ann thread. But you just go crazy with it and focus a lot on things that don't matter (like wanting the dev's ID).

My main question I'd ask the dev is where is the coin going to be used exactly? That's one of the biggest flaws with all nation coins... lack of any underlying infrastructure. It doesn't make the coin a scam. It just makes it a waste.
2724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Operation Shitcoin Cleanout and Clean Up Has Begun- Join the Revolution on: March 25, 2014, 04:49:49 AM

Same for you. You have been chasing my posts. .. LOL

Nah, just lucky me has been following this thread here, and then you walked in.
2725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Operation Shitcoin Cleanout and Clean Up Has Begun- Join the Revolution on: March 25, 2014, 04:46:28 AM

Might as well sue those mining the coin too, while you are at it. At least we know you don't have an irrational vendetta against the coin.

The lawyer said.. using the CoinyeCoin as 1st example case, all those people who minted this HKC will not be sued. However, if we sue the HKC dev and exchange market, the chance of success is very high.

And now that you have gotten your lawsuit prepared, you can spend more time posting here ... nonstop, nearly 24hrs daily, like you did in the previous HK threads.  I'm sure everyone in this thread would love to see your progress. Just don't forget to post in oversized red letters, like you normally do -- it's so much better for all.
2726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Operation Shitcoin Cleanout and Clean Up Has Begun- Join the Revolution on: March 25, 2014, 04:37:55 AM
@cryptobuddy

Umm... yeah. I believe you also stated you were preparing a lawsuit against Bittrex for even carrying the coin. I'm sure that will work out well for you.

Yes.. Going very well.. I just talked to a lawyer yesterday. (That's why I could not be online for some time yesterday.. LOL)

To be precise, First thing is to sue HKC illegally using Hong Kong official Emblem. Then those exchange market trading this illegal coin will be sued at the same time.

Might as well sue those mining the coin too, while you are at it. At least we know you don't have an irrational vendetta against the coin.

Please tell everybody here that HKC's wallet address is NOT starting with "1" or Coingen Coin wallet address is NOT starting with "1".
Evidence, PLEASE!

If NO evidence, please shut up, Mainland Chinese Scammer!!!
Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry

You just had to make me go look for it, didn't you?

Anyway, main ann thread, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=518669.640

page 33, evidence by majorminers.

I guess 'Mainland Chinese' is considered a xenophobic comment from Hong Kong people? Again, I am in the US... and again, I have no idea where the scam is exactly.
2729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Operation Shitcoin Cleanout and Clean Up Has Begun- Join the Revolution on: March 25, 2014, 04:09:18 AM

Don't try to distract again..  Please just do you research by yourself !!!! Please use FACT to disprove my FACT!! NOT Just by saying!!!

Umm... don't try to distract you by saying anything? Afraid I can't go to whatever asylum you are in, and provide hard proof... sorry.

You saw the same info I mentioned in the ann thread, but you chose to ignore it.
2730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Operation Shitcoin Cleanout and Clean Up Has Begun- Join the Revolution on: March 25, 2014, 04:04:39 AM

Hey Mr. Crazy, I was wondering how long it'd take you to find this thread. Anyway, the wallet image you posted in that thread was either doctored, or you had the wrong wallet, as it definitely looked different than the real one. I believe someone in that thread also showed mining addresses which couldn't have been coingen.

Last night I just found out the issue of "Bitcoin" label on the HKC wallet. What I found that for Windows 8.1, it showed up as Bitcoin; for Windows 8.0 it showed as HongKongCoin.

Regardless whether I used the wrong wallet or not,

the FACT is all HongKongCoin wallet addresses starting with "1", same as all other Coingen Coin.

Could you deny this FACT?

In the ann thread, I believe someone did, by showing addresses starting with a '2'. I think they also stated something about how the wallet logo starts up, as it is different than how coingen does it -- although I don't recall the details.
2731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Operation Shitcoin Cleanout and Clean Up Has Begun- Join the Revolution on: March 25, 2014, 04:00:09 AM
it may have no point)... I'm just anti-troll.

Hey poornamelessme, Mainland Chinese HKC Scammer, how dare you come here? LOL

NO matter what you or I said. People will make their own judgement.. LOL  Grin

Afraid I've never been to China or Hong Kong, I'm in the US.

As for scamming, I'm not even recommending the coin to anyone. Honestly, I think most nation coins are a silly idea. But if a dev does what he says he will, to me, he's not scamming anyone.
2732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Operation Shitcoin Cleanout and Clean Up Has Begun- Join the Revolution on: March 25, 2014, 03:53:26 AM
Excellent idea to clean out shitcoin.

I am sure that HongKongCoin HKC is a coingen, but pretends to be not.

Furthermore, the HongKongCoin dev pretends to be born in HK, but we refused to provide any evidence.

Last not but least, the people supporting HKC in the ANN HKC thread are from the same group.

They have been posting deceiving information in the ANN thread to cheat people how good HKC is.

Hey Mr. Crazy, I was wondering how long it'd take you to find this thread. Anyway, the wallet image you posted in that thread was either doctored, or you had the wrong wallet, as it definitely looked different than the real one. I believe someone in that thread also showed mining addresses which couldn't have been coingen.

And yes, the dev didn't turn over his identification to you. I can't imagine why, as you seem so sane and centered. You only posted non-stop, for days upon days, upon multiple threads, demanding to see his ID. I can't see why anyone wouldn't feel safe giving it to you. I think you'll fit right in with this group here though... your sort of people. On the plus side, if you post here like you did in the HK threads (yes multiple threads) nobody else will get a chance to say anything else. And please use big fonts, like you usually do, as bigger = more truthful.

Whether the coin itself is a shitcoin or not... not sure yet. The dev did manage to get an IP faucet working to give out the coins he said he would. As for why I am even posting this, I'm not necessarily a big fan of the coin (honestly it may have no point)... I'm just anti-troll.

It's been a rough ride. Just out of curiosity, who is still holding and what are you sitting on? I have like 20k, at its peak it was over 2k which would have been nice, now its barely enough to put gas in my car fugg. Anyone make money and sell at the peak? Anyone buy in at the

I never had much, just under 1000, as I'm a guppy-sized trader -- bought them around 6-7Kish in price. Sold for a loss, then made up for most of it with some other trades.

After selling them off, I picked up some free through arbitrage trades, some I picked up cheap at current prices. Figure might as well just hold them, as they aren't worth anything now anyway ... and I have more now than what I started with, half of which were free.

I'm not expecting much to come of maza, but at least David Mills mentioned the coin's existence. If they ever come out officially accepting it, then it's when maza might do something. Never know ... no point in selling off now if you've held this long.
2734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [HKC] [SHA-256] 香港 HongKong Coin - A revolution for the Hong Kong market. on: March 25, 2014, 02:56:47 AM
Any idea with this coin will be listed on coinmarketcap?

BTW, can you think of any other places you would like to see this coin listed?

Some people are still sleeping on HKC and they need to be aware it's out there.

Poloniex would seem like the next logical step for the coin. It's still a small exchange, but not as small as Bittrex. A lot of nation coins seem to 'graduate' to there before then moving to larger exchanges.
2735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Greececoin (GRCE) - LAUNCHED GET MINING! - *NEW* on: March 25, 2014, 12:04:43 AM
Look for localized volunteer groups canvas the areas and then have set up distribution days where people can go in and show an id plus get a class or informational literature on cryptocurrency, and claim a paper wallet with said coins. simple solution. anybody that has a problem showing id is probably a scammer anyway...

For a small town, that is fine. For an entire country? That's problematic, to say the least.
2736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Greececoin (GRCE) - LAUNCHED GET MINING! - *NEW* on: March 24, 2014, 11:46:04 PM
Look up the key internet companies that are located in Greece. The email address used to sign up would of course only be eligible if it came from someone using an email from said Greek provider. Then include some IP checks in just as a backup safeguard (which of course is not infallible).

I think it could work, perhaps not perfectly, but it could be something to consider.

I think it would be easier to abuse email accounts / servers / IP checks, than it will be to fool social network auth at this point.

We know that facebook and google at least *wants* to verify uniqueness.. it may be a hard task and they may not have solved it 100%, but they've set teams within their companies to tackle this problem already.  After all, it is their business on the line.

IP checks would be very easy to fool, so that could just be added in as a backup extra type of thing.

As for an email account, I am not sure, but is it difficult to verify that an email only works with a specific provider? Of course they can be spoofed, but I assumed it wouldn't be that hard for a dev to figure out who is spoofing, and who isn't?

And when I say email accounts from a Greek provider, I don't mean freebie email signup things. I mean the sort that are linked to paying  internet accounts. I expect most accounts get several emails, so it's not 100% accurate ... then again, there may be several people per household on average anyway.

I may also be wrong, but I also think people might try to abuse facebook accts more than trying to fake emails from some greek internet provider than nobody outside of Greece has ever heard of before.

Anyway, just an idea.

Thanks for sharing this, i will have a look into it, i have quoted what has been said for peoples opinions and views.

' Two key strategies are used to achieve these goals:

1) 100% Giveaway via social network validation - Instead of using airdrop and/or maildrop methods.  Planetdollar will leverage existing social network’s authentication infrastructure to distribute coins.  We will start by using Facebook’s auth: any verified facebook user can simply go to our website, and claim their coins.  No personal information is retained, no captcha or other ads are required.  We only use the authentication services that Facebook provides.  Unlike other distribution methods that have their said drops in the future.  This auth method and send is available at launch day.  This will be expanded in the future to include other social networks: QQ, Google+ and Twitter.

I would like to hear about this?

The problem with using social networks is of course people could abuse it. But it could certainly be one option.

I mentioned an idea earlier, which I think in theory could work ... but nobody really followed up on it.

Why not verify via email, similar to how Amazon verifies edu addresses for discounts on prime? But set it up to check email from Greek internet providers only?

Look up the key internet companies that are located in Greece. The email address used to sign up would of course only be eligible if it came from someone using an email from said Greek provider. Then include some IP checks in just as a backup safeguard (which of course is not infallible).

I think it could work, perhaps not perfectly, but it could be something to consider.
2738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WTF? Coinmarketcap.com, Cryptorush.in, and Mintpal.com all not loading right now on: March 24, 2014, 06:54:39 PM
Cryptorush was moving like a slug for me late last night, but it was working. Barely.

Anyone having problems getting bitcoin off of cryptorush?

For whatever reason, late last night bitcoin withdrawals wouldn't work for me on cryptorush... had to buy up doge, withdraw doge, then sell doge on other exchange to even get my funds out
2739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Warning] Operation Shitcoin Cleanout members are scammers on: March 24, 2014, 03:05:05 AM

A troll is a troll is a troll.  He has already admitted that all of those accounts are his, and he is just trying to give you the run around.  He is trying to clear his name, but he simply makes it worse.  Check my posts to see where I quoted him mentioning his puppet accounts.

@r3wt/Hydroponica
Keep up the great work!

I feel bad for anyone who had money at openex. His posts make no sense.

And how could he clear his name if he posted his alt names previously? It just makes him look like a bigger liar. It's crazy to me.
2740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Warning] Operation Shitcoin Cleanout members are scammers on: March 24, 2014, 02:01:09 AM

I was talking to r3wt in that post.  You've been talking to the same person if you have been talking to any of those accounts.

 r3wt = h4xx0r = extortion?

If so, check out my conversation in the liberation thread. It's sort of makes me question his sanity.

You are correct! Just do a quick search for ghostintheshellprompt and you will have all the evidence you need. I've quoted him in the main "operation cleanout" thread.

*wonders*

I don't get it though -- last page of that liberation thread where the conversation is, it gets bizarre. I mean, he's telling himself he needs to just announce how much his own exchange lost? He was posting as both extortion and h4xx0r there.
