Der Zeitraum zwischen
Lieferung May 15, 2014, 07:50:21 AM
Inbetriebnahme January 11, 2015, 11:31:20 AM

2722  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: BTC Exchange - wo schnellste Auszahlung ? on: January 12, 2015, 10:05:58 AM

2723  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: January 12, 2015, 09:36:46 AM

Schaun'n mer mal.
2724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is officially dead on: January 12, 2015, 01:01:05 AM
Still using LTC to transfer funds between exchangers, since it is quick. And secondary reason for that transfer not to end up onto the BTC ledger, which is allready to huuge anyways.

But that's it. I would not dare to hodle a coin with such a huge POW imposed inflation. Did you ever calculated that up as a yearly inflation?! Numbers are horrible.
2725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What cryptocurrency do you have the most faith in the long term? on: January 11, 2015, 04:20:40 PM
Bitcoin is the only one I have faith in currently. It has merchant adoption behind it and media attention whereas alts don't. They're just essentially for people who missed the bitcoin boat and want to try find the next NXT big thing.
BTC? Anonymouse developer has left, community takeovers always do fail. Heavily, with a THUD!
There's a premine bag left that could get dumped anytime.
High inflation due to daily miner dumping. Prise falling now all year long. Willybot pump from Gox is over, it seems.
2726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: January 11, 2015, 04:08:09 PM
Everything is fine. A prolonged lull after a big price increase in Bitcoin land is very normal. Completely expecting enthusiasm for Altcoins to dim for a while but there is no better solution for low prices than low prices. At some point, demand will pick up again, in Bitcoin land and Altcoins.
Not seen that in 2014. More of the opposite.
2727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: January 11, 2015, 03:29:14 PM
re: hash rate - someone in the main thread indicated that their antivirus was blocking their bitmonerod - maybe the botnets are getting hit by antivirus.
So your speculations are on rising value in between the following small timescale? Since botters have to dump immediately at any value, assuming they are renting "rigs" from a blackhat.
2728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: who killed crypto? on: January 11, 2015, 03:14:53 PM
Try NectarCoin's altcoin market alert system (raw online demo). Track and get Alerts on: Big Price Moves, Big Buy/Sell Order shifts, Developer updates, Big Volume Traffic, New listings
Big Buy/Sell Order shifts ?
Whoever watches this has to be aware that Orderbooks are no more then mists or fog.

Developer updates? Scams make more update noise, so that's a weak sign at least.

Big Volume Traffic ... when it crashes, the volume is higher. Sure sign to get the fuck out. This is usually way past the first significant price move.

... overall in summary, don't trust those signs or learn to read them better.

If anything, our beliefs about crypto need to die.
Some, not all.
2729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Making PoW usefull on: January 10, 2015, 08:00:09 AM
Here is a guy who is using the power of bitcoin mining to benefit the planet:

(image of a really bad investment shown)

I'm going to buy some of his bitcoins right now, how about you give him your money too!
He gave his money to ASIC fabrications, well done! Watching the difficulty too, eh?
The roof will drop down soon.

PS: don't buy in, it is loosing value all year long now
2730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: who killed crypto? on: January 09, 2015, 12:12:35 AM
scams are a problem but in the end: bitcoin killed crypto because it wasn't able to hold its value
Yes and no. Bitcoins still hold some remaining value.

The to the moon expectations had been exaggerated. Take a look at yourself. Do you buy Bitcoins with fiat? Of course not, since the value is falling every week. Do you mine at home? Well, nobody is still that silly to preorder some ASICs. And then there is that purposed darknet use case, but statistics are showing to us 46 sites closed during 2014. No place to carry over your money, unless you darely need to get rid of it.

But BTC still exists, as a proof of concept. Opened the door, which is ... open now. Some other coin will continue where Bitcoin failed I am sure.
2731  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: January 08, 2015, 01:12:48 PM

2732  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: January 08, 2015, 12:56:41 PM

GMX: ack

Akka - Default trust account hacked! - confirmed 2x

ThomasV: gmx account hacked

Satoshi gmx account hacked
2733  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: January 08, 2015, 08:22:42 AM

2734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin distribution on bittrex (new feature) on: January 05, 2015, 09:11:59 AM
That opens up a new era of honesty & transparency.
2735  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Possible atack on Bitstamp ? on: January 05, 2015, 09:08:31 AM
What about MtGox or Moolah?  Accounting practice failure or somebody found a loophole..
Best way to save an exchanger is reducing their temptation to make a runner with your moneh.

Reducing that temptation can save the exchange site! Act accordingly.
2736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: January 05, 2015, 02:04:42 AM
If 2015 is the year the alts really start to take on Bitcoin as number one, I wonder if Monero will be up there with the other giants, Ethereum, Bitshares, etc...

My fear is that Monero gets left behind.
On the list of your Giants I do hope for that "etc..." coin  Cheesy since the others are doh

My forecast for 2015: A bloodbath, just in the end we'll see a new #1 and BTC biten the dust (with BTC Bagholders still beeing in denial)
2737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I Am Getting Out of Bitcoin on: January 05, 2015, 01:45:47 AM
I like to see the enthusiasm! Glad to see the firm believers in Bitcoin still
Tragedy, isn't it? Straight line down whole year, and people didn't get it.
Pump was over with MtGox.

OB has got about 260 open bugs actually, some of them I will have to fix to get monero parts working. but I also suppose, the most complicated part will be developing of well-operating monero escrow without multisig.
260 open bugs, some of which he'd have to fix before modifying it to work without multisig and modifying it to work with XMR. Doesn't seem realistic for that to be done in a month, and even if it were, the result would still be buggy. I hate to be a wet blanket, but let's maybe think about this. Would a buggy Freebazaar with no multi-sig really get much use even as a marketing tool? Would it really be superior to an onion site or IRC channel with a reputation system and escrow agents? We'd end up throwing more money at re-modifying it to use multi-sig once XMR finally gets working multisig. If core XMR devs hold Atrides as a software engineer in high esteem, then that's enough for me. But there's always an opportunity cost. He could be paid to work on something else.
260 or 2600 does not really matter. Did some research since this is a new toppic for me. The experts come to this conclusion

it seems people like the convenience and are aggregatively uninterested in more complicated setups.
...
This makes for the easiest prediction ever about OpenBazaar or Syscoin or P2Pox: they’re not going to take off.
