2721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP is Back on: April 29, 2021, 09:17:45 PM
XRP has pumped really well in the last couple of days because of the positive signs coming out of the court house, but this pump is more of whale pump, I have a feeling these whales are looking to dump their tokens and they need to suck a lot of people in before they start unloading it on people who bought into the hype

Whether it's whale play or not, XRP has never hit $ 1 in two years, and I think it would be a good thing if XRP started pumping. It is even possible that in the near future XRP will touch $ 2 or more.

There's no doubt with that, all of what is happening now is just due to the bull run, and you know when there's a bull run, there's always hype. XRP may reach $2 or even make a new ATH, but its future is still uncertain until they win the lawsuit filed to them by the SEC or a government agency.
2722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Eyes on BTC Dominance! on: April 29, 2021, 09:07:17 PM
BTC dominance is now below 50%, this is now the start of the altcoins market, bitcoin is only fluctuating and it's not anymore creating a new ATH, this is the time where investors will transfer their money to altcoins as it's more profitable at the moment. As long as bitcoin will not dump, altcoins would continue to rise and that is the beauty of the altcoins season.
2723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: April 28, 2021, 10:42:44 PM
This is it. Official dates are now confirmed.

Another money-making scheme to Mayweather again and for sure, there will be more people that will take the bait.

I don't see an upset here and Logan knows that. There is a big money involved after all so just grab the opportunity.

It's actually Floyd who is making a favor to his opponent, without Floyd, Logan Paul will never get a big fight like this, so let's just hope for Logan's safety here as Floyd could easily knock him down if he wants to, he finished an exhibition against a Japanese in round 1, it could happen here.
2724  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: April 28, 2021, 10:28:45 PM
Should SM prove their financial capability still?? The reason why the PBA don't want to add a team is because of advertisements. Again its all about money Smiley.

PBA has shareholders that supporting the league till now. Of course, it's an obvious "money".

Even SM as an example does have a financial capability, in accordance with the law, having an extension team is not an action that can be granted right away. It has due process. There are also considerations before doing that as the whole schedule will be revised. PBA is running a 3 conference per year and adjustments will be very big even a new single team will join.
Money will always be part of the League and that’s why PBA keeps on pushing for another bubble season because they’ll make a lot of money from here and recently, they go to Malacanang to propose a possibly bubble season again. SM is a huge company they are capable of supporting and making other teams, though of course they must go on the process.
Not a lot of money actually since bubble does not allow a crowd which is the major contributor of their income. They just want to have a new season despite the situation because they want to provide entertainment and it doesn't matter if they'll operate in a little loss or break even as long as PBA stays.
2725  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go below $40,000 on: April 28, 2021, 08:13:51 PM
(.....)
Today, the price is below $50,000 and it's dropping big time, my question, with this movement, will we see a bitcoin price below $40,000?
$40,000 is very possible before the end of the month. Especially if Bitcoin will touch $44,000 which for me, is the key level for strong support.
But I am hoping Bitcoin will not, especially since Bitcoin is now above $50,000 again.
I challenge that bears should try first the $44,000 before that $40,000, no worries at all, stay calm and stay 💎 hands.
I was thinking the same but we've been trick again. We are thinking badly as the market shows some declines but looking at the chart, we are likely heading back to $60k before the end of this month, a big opposite from what we speculate.
Seeing the market to dump and getting over with the Bullrun, it seems hard this time. We even heard that there is another big company buying Bitcoin this time and this could positively affect the trend to stay long at $50k.
2726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The problem is that it could take again many years to recover on: April 28, 2021, 07:52:29 PM
I have no problems seeing a bright future for BTC, but after a major retracement it might again take many years to recover. Look at the last sell off down to $3700. It took almost 4 years to make new ATH.
So should this be the major, expected drop, it could again take many years for BTC to reach 100k.
Many people will be dead before BTC will reach 1 mio.
People had come and invest not because they are desperate to wait for how many years before the market price will recover when it turns down. They are here because they believe and positively thinking that Bitcoin will grow someday after a very tragic fall. Besides, think that Bitcoin started almost nothing and now it reaches $60k, it was an eye-opening for newcomers indeed, and even those who are here already that Bitcoin has truly had such a market value. Because I know that people could manage themselves and willing to wait for the recovery.
2727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trading increasing in Venezuela on: April 27, 2021, 02:18:30 PM
Due to the Coronavirus, lots of countries are lockdown. Venezuela is also on nationwide quarantine. As a result, banks are shutting down, on the other hand, Bitcoin trading activity is increasing in Venezuela.
https://decrypt.co/22750/venezuela-shuts-down-banks-coronavirus-bitcoin-trading-soars
An online system like bank transactions, bills payment, online orders, and many more have been massively growing this time. People are now more engaged in online stuff which Bitcoin is more suitable during this time. In fact, people got to know about Bitcoin/crypto trading as it always poping out in social media and this eventually give a huge help.

As the spread of coronavirus continues the more it helps Bitcoin to grow its demand. Besides, not only in trading we have seen such huge growth but also in online gambling. Then I was thinking that this Covid-19 is a blessing to the crypto market Grin

2729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin dominance reach below 50% but back to over 50% in no time on: April 26, 2021, 12:42:55 PM
This reminds me of the 2017 bull market a lot. In late 2017 BTC rose so much, then it started lose its market cap to alts and the markets crashed completely later on. Right now we are having the alt pump (or we were) and if the history repeats, it means the full market crash is near.
I was thinking that after Bitcoin dominance lowers down below 50% the market will start to crash but I was wrong, instead of seeing its price rallying back high at $53k (at this post). To think about history repeats itself, I don't know but it is unlikely different in the situation we have. Because at this time, I was thinking that the market is able to stay above $40k.
2730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: April 24, 2021, 08:53:56 PM
Which means they do not need to rush Lebron and AD back at all. AD already started with restricted minutes and that's fine, Lebron will get there too.
They are not rushing anything, AD came back but only played with limited minutes, and their standing is not safe now as they are dropping. From being the number 1 team in the West and now at the present standing, there should be some sense of urgency.

Only reason to bring those players back before playoffs is that if you are injured and you are getting back, it is risky to go out and play 30+ minutes a night from first game, which means both of them need to play with like 10 at first, then 15 then 20 then 25 and 30 and playoffs before playoffs start, if they can do that and bring them back to speed slowly that would be a lot better and it would help the team more.
Their conditioning coach knows what to do, they would not play Davis with longer minutes if his body is not yet ready, he just came back from injury so they have to take it slowly until his body can fully adjust to the actual game. I don't know how many minutes he will get i this game against the Mavericks, but hopefully a little extended minutes to help his team to win.
2731  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Learn to laugh even if Bitcoin is crashing on: April 24, 2021, 03:29:59 PM
We are going through a difficult period. I don't know how many days I haven't slept. It is best to take a few days off and endure what happens next. Money is not more important than health.
Absolutely, it wasn't best for you/us to feel this feeling but instead, have to smile and laugh as this could help to ease ourselves. And I certainly do this over and over again when I was depressed.

I hope not, but something like we need to prepare for the market crash. I mean, we should have to anticipate this thing to avoid any losses and regrets.
We should never forget about the past and we neither know what will happen in the next few days but we have to remain calm and do the things that we think it is important and a must.
2732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's going on One Harmony project ? on: April 24, 2021, 02:51:47 PM
I am into the One harmony project 3 months back.(Here you can visit their website-https://www.harmony.one/)
For those who don't aware of it, Harmony (ONE) is a blockchain-based platform, built to solve the riddle of delivering both scalability and decentralization at no expense of one another.
It's quite a good project and had some great news and start to rising the value. But before a month It started to be bearish, It's okay coz correction should be having in the healthy chart. But it continuously remains bearish for a month. What is your complement or idea about the one harmony coin?

Isn't surprising, actually.
All projects that are presented on the market will definitely look promising, isn't it? And this particular project Harmony is one of those projects that we think that is was valuable and helpful to the community but wondering why it goes like this?

Well, it is too hard to explain but as there is one reason why the situation turns like this is that because the community cannot afford to trust them nor its developers would like to create such a trust trade with us. Because if they are true with their promises then they will continue pushing and promoting their projects but unfortunately, it was not the thing we have saw.
2733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB will remain valuable for a long time on: April 24, 2021, 02:36:12 PM
Agree, i think BSC will dethrone ETH in the next few years and it will be so easy for BNB to take the second place in cmc from ETH, if ETH can't fixed the fee issue damn, it will be so bad for their future.
I agree with your opinion, ETH gas fee is very high and sometimes I'm not be able to transfer my tokens because of high fees especially if I have ETH in exchange or wallet. I feel bad for ETH network but I still believe that ETH could fix it. I know they do their best to fix it so that I'm not selling most of my ETH token and just trust the process. BNB will be valuable especially if they continue doing launchpad, airdrops, and being the best crypto exchange is the best about BNB. Quarterly burning event is the one of the best move that BNB do to increase its value.
Not airdrop nor launchpad that gives a reason why BNB still valuable, it is because BNB exchanges protect that name and seem to be their reputation as well. We know BNB coin because of this and for a particular reason, this coin is always can be trusted for a short and long-term goal investment. And yet, we can't deny that BNB is started from scratch and it turns into something one of the most valuable coin in the crypto market.
2734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk please stop messing up the crypto market on: April 24, 2021, 01:10:24 PM
John McAfee did more than this during the year 2017 bull run and we can see the end today. I think it will get to a point the USA will be after him for one reason or another. It is getting too messy and newbies are falling into the trap of influencers.

At least Elon did focus on one coin only, unlike John McAfee which has shill a lot of coins and that makes him so obivous that he is just getting paid for his shilling job. Elon is a bigger fish as this guy is a billionaire, so his influence in the crypto space is bigger, reason why DOGE has been flying, but we should be ready for the correction.

He started with one coin, but we never know if soon he will start shilling other coin. you know, as long as he still has a lot of followers, he will be more motivated to shill a certain coin, besides he has nothing to loss, instead he will make easy money, like probably millions of not billions of money.
2735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government ban on crypto on: April 24, 2021, 12:47:24 PM
In my country Nigeria, the federal government made a ban on the trading of any crypto market businesses, even to the extent of seizing bank account that have prior transaction details. But this hasn't stop people from investing and trading because there are different ways to this trading medium.
It's always possible as there are p2p trading platforms, one can trade their bitcoin to fiat vice versa without the government knowing it, they have started with exchanges and soon maybe they look on how to detect anyone doing p2p trading, but it's gonna be a tough job for them.

What they are doing is they are taking our freedom to own bitcoin, as a bitcoin enthusiast, we should not allow that wherever we live.
2736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 24, 2021, 10:51:17 AM
Therefore my pick is Blazers -3.5

Bad pick as Blazer still loss, it's hurting my eyes seeing how Blazers struggle and they can't win in close games. It's already a 4 losing streak and they are still figuring out how to win, probably it's wise if we will just stay away from this team at the moment.
2737  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: April 24, 2021, 10:40:31 AM
with playoffs getting closer and closer, I think the lakers management and coaching staff should play LeBron and Davis in the playoffs there is no need for them to rush to play in the regular season maybe 5-10 minutes of play should if they insist they want to play although I think they will contest it, they should think about the championship, not the regular season, they will be frustrated with it but they will benefit a lot,

For sure they wanted to get the two play together before the play-offs. It is a good gauge for the Lakers to see how the team will fit and play out once their superstars are back into action 100%.

Warriors with a big win today against the Nuggets, Curry started his scoring again with 32 points. They've lost to Wizards, which is a game that I think they should have won. But at least they are back in the win column again.
They are a huge underdogs against the Denver team, but Curry managed to have his "usual 30 point game" and then they also have big numbers from Wiggins and Oubre and Jordan Poole to help Steph win this game against the Nuggets.

Another tough lost for the Portland Trailblazers, they are now on a slumped, losing 4 games.

They are not a huge underdog as per betting line, the odds is -2.5 for the Denver Nuggets, so I would not say it's an upset.

https://www.sportsbettingdime.com/nba/odds/2021042402-nba-den-gs/

GSW is underrated now, but they prove they can win against a good team which is the Denver nuggets, which also means that GSW is here to compete and would like to qualify in the playoffs.
2738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you trust centralized exchanges? on: April 23, 2021, 11:39:25 PM
I don’t trust centralised exchanges thats why as much as possible I don’t store big amounts to them. The risk of putting money in centralised exchanges is very high, we know how vulnerable they are in terms of security. Sometimes the problem of loss funds is not the exchanges fault, some are users neglect in securing their accounts.
Because in the first place, it is not advisable to store funds for very long to any exchanges either if that is a centralized or decentralized exchange if we want to keep our fund safe. Everything that we stored online is prone to hacking and that we need to be careful using them that is why we have to choose those who are already known exchanges.
2739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: April 23, 2021, 09:43:36 PM
A litte drop of fee now on bitcoin transactions, as you cen see in https://mempool.space/.. the highest priority now is only 6 usd, compared to yesterday's 10 to 15 usd. It's now time to transact bitcoin to save fees as eventually it will again rise as the mempool gets congested.
2740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: April 22, 2021, 09:37:47 PM
I was just browsing on FB and then saw this discussion. What can you say about Williams as a rookie that demands a higher salary per year?

From the article, it says ;

Quote
The rookie salary is cappped at 200k. The gap of 100k

So to be specific, he is just asking 300k per month, that's over 50% of the max capped for Rookie. I guess he its his right to ask for a higher salary, he is good and he knows he is capable of helping the team, but the final say still up to the TNT managemnet as it could also ruined the morale of the existing players if they will give them as a special treatment.

This guy is a bit okay, Ray Parks is worst as his asking is 1 million per month.  Grin

The point is, why asked that amount, he has not proven anything yet and besides it is in the rules that maximum salary for a rookie is 200k.

I don't think the management of Katropa will give in to his demand because what the TNT Katropa needs at the moment is a big man that can compete with other teams bigs. They already have a lot of guard, that is why i'm saying that he should prove his worth before asking anything.

I think this kid has an attitude problem, why not settle the issue offline and not publish it on the media.

He doesn't see it that way, just like Ray Parks, he hasn't win a championship yet and demand 1 million per month?

These kids nowadays are so ambitious, they think they can dictate the team by not following the rules? well, MVP has something to say, it's a no for him.

why not just focus on the bonuses rather than the salary, that way they can justify their demand if they have good result.
