BTC price VS gambling

Everything is on the rise the past few months, thus any coin is "expensive" to use. I am still using Bitcoin for my gambling purposes, while sometimes I've also used Dogecoin, no other coins apart from these two.

Are you still using bitcoin at the moment on where the fee is almost $20? If you're rich then this situation wont really bother you but for most gamblers then for sure they would really be
that mindful when it comes to tx fee that why we do find out some alternatives rather than on spending those horrendous fee amounts.It is really hard to have these kind of situations
where fees are on the roof but somehow due to lot of alts that can serve out temporary mediums for us to play gambling we can still able to play as we like.
The essence of playing gambling might not be directly dealing with bitcoin but it isn't really bad experience at all.

I actually edited my first post because I had forgotten to add the fee issue, but hadn't pressed the update button. I'm currently using my BTC balance, which is from older deposits or earnings. Thus, I've limited any BTC deposits, due to the high transaction fees (And the high value which I'd like to preserve). I will be skeptical if I need to add balance on any gambling website.

We can use any coins that we think we can comfortable using, but we need to think about whether that is worth gambling using bitcoin or moving and searching for the altcoin to gamble.
It is about how we can accept the bitcoin risk if we use bitcoin to gamble.
And once we can accept, we can still use bitcoin, no matter how much bitcoin price.
But many of us prefer to hold bitcoin while the price increases like today.
At least, the price now still higher than a few months ago or a year ago.

There's no altcoins that are stable, unless you are using stable coin itself, the popular stable coin is USDT and it's still high in transaction so you can use it in gambling as i think there are also few sites who are accepting usdt.

I better use altcoin than bitcoin or stable coin. Besides the fees increase on the transaction, I feel that it is better to use USDT for trading pair with altcoin or bitcoin because that can help me make a profit.

Using bitcoin or altcoin will be our decision and I think some gambler still using bitcoin because they think that if they win in bitcoin, they are making a lot of money from that. But I do not think that they will easy to win in gambling games.

Yes there are sites who accept stable coin, if you are not comfortable using either  your BTC or any other alts then this options is good to go.

Especially if you are in a budget and don't want to over waste your fund, you can simply limit your budget each time you place your bets you know how much money you are already spending.

It can really be on different scenarios or does depend on what situation you are into because gambling could really put you up into such condition neither you would be

That's another scenario, what I explain is if someone loses and loss control, they might chase their loses because they want to win back, and once a gambler loses control, he or she will never stop gambling until he win or he loss everything. That's the big risk in gambling but actually we can't blame it to the gambling site or the gambling itself, but ourselves, we are in control, so we have to be responsible.

Gambling is not a ponzi scheme or something that guarantees winnning, so let us not expect that we will win everytime.. yeah,  some came back to gamble, but they have to also accept loses and understand it's part of the game.

I agree, having limits is important for gambling. We need to control our self's because we can't always be winning and especially during losing streaks is self control very important.

The recent drop in bitcoin price will make it more important to gamble with our coins. I feel more comfortable to gamble with bitcoins when prices are falling then when they are rising. With lower prices its more attractive to gamble because we can grow in value through gambling. Whereas when prices are rising we need to be careful to not lose money.

Thats true, if the value is high we are careful not to lose it and instead we are eager to win more because of the price. During that time im hesitating as well to spend my bitcoin in gambling or to make a deposit. Because aside from high transaction fees, im also thinking to be more wise refraining myself to play, unless the btc is already in my gambling account. If I can make my money double then its an achievement however we know gambling is risky and a game of luck to win so it wont be easy.

I agree, having limits is important for gambling. We need to control our self's because we can't always be winning and especially during losing streaks is self control very important.

Probably depending on the gambler, because for me, if the price is dumping and I keep gambling, it will affect the value of my coin if the price is dropping, and since we can't guarantee if the price will rise again, then we have no choice but to sell it when we cashing out is already necessary.

Volatility in crypto is normal but our main goal is to win, so we should just focus on that and let the market be volatile as we still benefit on this since not all the time the market only move in one direction.

You are right. When we can think that it will better to hold bitcoin while the price increase or sideways, we will not use it for gambling instead of using the other coins, it feels bad if we lose in bitcoin than in altcoin because the value is different. Even if we have the btc in our account, that will not be a good idea to use for playing gambling because we know that we can lose all of the btc amounts anytime in gambling games. However, if btc price increases more than now and the fees still not reduce, then there is no other way to just hold and sell it in the exchanges or convert it into altcoins first and send it in the exchange can make a profit from that.

They don't want to stop as long as they feel the essence of being lucky. I have also this type of sensation and the price of the crypto that I gamble wouldn't matter to me.

Yes, two things. Volatility and yourself as a gambler, we can't do anything with the market's volatility but with your goal whether to win or to enjoy, you're the one in control of it.

Thanks for sharing, the price may drop but it's still high for most gamblers. I'd rather trade that bitcoin to altcoins if that's from our wallet, $6 is still higher compared to paying $1 or lower which is possible with some altcoins particularly with XRP.
