2721  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin bullrun and correction period on: November 25, 2020, 11:41:28 PM
Correction already happened, it happened twice. Now we are in the bull part of the discussion and I am not sure how high we can go. This time around I believe we are not going to stop at $20k but I also have no idea how high it can go neither, it looks like we are going to be doing fine but I am not sure if we are going to be $30k, or $40k? Maybe more or maybe stay at $22k and drop after that, who knows?

This is why I think it is going to be something very risky and even though we will be breaking all time high price which suppose to be something great for many people since we are as high as we have ever been, it would also be very dangerous because a lot of people will lose money, there will be a ton of people who buy at the top and lose after the price crashes eventually.

I would rather stop thinking for any higher price now, higher than $20k, until bitcoin breaks the current ATH.

Though the market is bullish, but it's a tough situation that bitcoin still fail to break that barriers until now, I know nothing is impossible with bitcoin as it could always surprise us but I believe if not this time, we have to wait for a bit of time and eventually it will again soar.
Normal for people to say up things when they do saw that we are nearing ATh where these kind of words or sentiments will really come out on someones mouth.
It cant be avoided not only just for the sake of profit or investing matters but also with the excitement yet we've been waiting for this time.
We are the same on which i dont really expecting much after we do break the previous ATH and would see new time high.As usual, there would be
sell off or profit taking which would really make up some pullbacks in price so we shouldnt really make ourselves too excited.

That's the result of the hype, FOMO will come but it the hype is a short lived one, it will stop, and these people will again regret why they buy at the moment. Hopefully only few people would lose compared to the last bull run if indeed a dump will come, we have seen this scenario many times s we will probably make a better decision now unlike those people who are just active in investing when the market is bullish.
2722  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Towards another gambling site. on: November 25, 2020, 11:09:01 PM
Personally I consider roulette as game of luck, you just need a ton of luck in order to profit good from this game. I find roulette very hard to profit with compared to other games I played in various gambling websites, I have tried many strategies on youtube and just doesn't seem to work for me. Luck plays a big role here compared to other games, and if there is something to learn before playing on roulette is know your limits and patience. I've seen many people win and lose thousands of dollars on roulette.

At least we know how to determine the difference of the luck game and the skilled based games, roulette is obviously a luck based game and this is very popular in casinos and casinos are making a lot of money on it, there's no cheating here but sometimes gamblers doesn't understand that the house edge is huge that they would lose most of the time.

if we treat this game for fun, okay, but for business, nope!
2723  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: November 25, 2020, 06:35:49 AM

Even though chasing loss is a normal thing, you still shouldn't allow yourself to be swallowed by that greediness to win. I already tried that, doubling the bet after lose streak, this kind of strategy won't work for long if your bankroll is not enough. You need big amount of balance if you'll try this kind of strategy, you'll just get rekted if more rounds paid red. Imagine doubling up your bets every single loss after lossing the recent round.

Doubling your balance for each loss bet won't give you any profit because you will bust soon due to insufficient funds. It's martingale strategy, very old strategy and more just like stupid strategy if you think you can make profit from that.
Better let him experience that strategy, when we are new, we tried it and it didn't work for us, who knows it will work for him.

Or maybe after you win some bets, increase the volume?
And if your bet lose, then you will decrease the bet?
As long as there's a house edge, it's hard to expect a win in the long run.

Sad reality.
2724  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Player protection - stop loss limit on: November 25, 2020, 06:17:58 AM
The gambling site that will put this player protection feature on their platform, is really concern about the welfare of their players, but their revenues will suffer, they will have good feedback but their revenue and income will suffer, they will have to think between the two what they want to achieve.
There is no sane businessman that will do this, this is the anti-thesis of business practice, putting customers first before profit. In my opinion, this is not a good practice anyway and there are other ways to get a good review without the revenue, give them something for free when they register as a player, something complimentary like how physical casinos give free drinks to the players. Besides, stop loss feature will not work all the time as most gamblers do not have a self-control even if they say it.

That's right, most of us does not have the discipline to just gambling based on our limit, if we have a bankroll in a site, we would just gamble it all and just withdraw if we win, and if we lose there's no tomorrow.

Not new, for ages, gambling still doesn't learn and that's the reason why casinos revenue keeps growing because when people learn to gamble, they are usually greedy at the beginning.
2725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊[Boxing] Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior [PPV on Nov. 28] on: November 24, 2020, 10:37:54 AM
5 more days...

34 years ago on November 22, 1986, Mike Tyson become youngest ever boxing heavyweight champion!
At age of 54 he is preparing to fight again this weekend in few days.
His latest short interview with Steve Bunce: https://youtu.be/iGJ5tm4uM7c

This is really a history in the making. Excited to watch this match also. We will see another legend come to life in the boxing ring again. Wonder if they can still attract big audience and bettors for this fight. The gap of odds are not so wide but all are favouring for Tyson to win this fight. Can he deliver? Let's watch...

A really good question to be answer this upcoming fight, Tyson got 1.52 odd on
his side good enough for the value of your bet. You'll be entertained more while
watching him to bring his monster uppercut and killing blow! Both figthers are known
to be a good legends inside this sport it's exciting to see them again throwing punches
to each other bringing entertainmen to their respective fans.

These are old fighter, I'm afraid I would be able to see more clinching than punching, hopefully that is not the scenario in the fight though as this is a paid PPV AFAIK and it's an expensive one, so we should be entertain with this.
2726  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆 Betnomi.com - Crypto Centric 🏀Sportsbook and 🎲Casino - 🔥Biggest Jackpots on: November 24, 2020, 10:25:31 AM
This is complete nonsense. A license in Curacao does not give you the right to accept unlicensed customers in a given country. Not only that, but the parties are obliged to blacklist unlicensed sites.
so I'm interested in how you define banned countries. for example, in some countries the authorities even arrest people playing on such sites

The site has their own responsibility and obligations to the regulators, we gamblers also are responsible for our actions, so if we are worried that we might get arrested for gambling in a site where we are not allowed to, then the simple answer is don't gamble at all.

A gambling site knows the risk and therefore knows what they are doing, and there are some risk that can be tolerated because the penalty is not that serious and they are the only one who knows that.

2728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 23, 2020, 10:27:29 PM
Well, I'm a little bit anxious for the beginning of the season
I hope the teams from this season are more balanced and competitive, but I think the Lakers will be able to win this championship again, let's see how they will behave during the regular season.

As far as I can see as of now, I did not see some balance here, it looks like Lakers are even getting better with the acquisition of some big names, especially the big guys where its their advantage in the bubble, I don't know how other teams would respond to them next season.
2729  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 20, 2020, 01:15:20 PM
hi, take a look at the championship betting odds.

https://www.sportsbettingdime.com/news/nba/updated-2021-championship-odds-for-all-30-teams-post-draft/

I think with the news today about Thompson not playing, that +650 might drop to +1000 more..

I don't think Golden State Warriors has a slightly minor chance for championship this season.
It can drop down more and more days go by. Just wait for trades you will see better teams.

Here's the updated betting odds coming from an actual sportsbook.

The changes has already in effect, thinking of taking it just for fun, lol.
2730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins I have in my wallets on: November 20, 2020, 12:57:27 PM
Some are like okay but I like most of them and as it is kind of depends on bitcoin or etehereum value then focusing on each project beside the bitcoin and etehreum value  would a good thing for something good.
My altcoins are mostly dependent on ETH as they are ETH tokens, so it's necessary that ETH will rise in order for these tokens to rise. As what I'm seeing now, ETH is already starting to pack up, it has already hit $500 which it struggle before, so I would say thank you to bitcoin and hopefully this movement will continue and altcoins will follow the trend of bitcoin.
2731  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we going to see another PANIC on: November 20, 2020, 12:47:10 PM
we have to fight our emotions when trading and investing,
don't follow panic sell if you want the target to be reached,
if investors and traders hold then we will see more Demand than sell orders,
this will certainly make bitcoin go up and there is no another panic.

It's been said many times that panic will not help you in making good decision, you panic you lose, so should know the result if you will allow yourself to be in that position. I've learn from my past mistake, so I will never panic anymore, hopefully the newbies will not experience big mistake this bull run and instead they will learn from other people's mistakes.
2732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Indian boy committed suicide after losing money by Betting in IPL on: November 20, 2020, 09:46:33 AM
That's the downside of gambling when you cannot afford to lose and when you're addicted to gambling!
That's it, it's the risk that we don't want to happen to us, it's something we need to prevent and therefore we have to be responsible all the time.
Responsible gambling is always necessary regardless of the amount we bet.

And exactly borrowing the money for gambling is the worst decision anyone can make with the pressure of returning and recovering the losses.
I feel bad for that boy addiction got the best out of him.
It could be a bad decision but if you are responsible in gambling, it should not create a big problem, just treat it like a business, you borrow money to invest on yourself, if you lose, make sure you'll pay.
2733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe NBA is rigged? on: November 20, 2020, 09:03:56 AM
The league would not risk their billions of revenue just to rigged games, what would that help them? If they got caught, the entire organization will be shut down and that revenue will stop, let's be realistic here, refs, players, or one of the officials could influence the game but the whole organization is not making it, that's for sure.
i think you are right with this they won't destroy their reputation that easily and lose revenue just to rig the game i agree that if there would be a rig here the organizations have nothing to do with it.
Therefore they have to ensure that they will penalized heavily those who are caught rigging games as the reputation of the league is at stake all the time. Billions of money will be loss due to one mistake only, I think they cannot afford that.
2734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe NBA is rigged? on: November 20, 2020, 07:20:28 AM
Rigging up games isnt that something surprising but on todays era where i cant see any games that do have some shady decision calls by refs.
There's still a lot today mate, but they are careful with it as we already have a media where people can freely published what they see, so it will be easy for people to know and the organization as a whole will be affected. I know one ref admitted that he is rigging the game but he did not say it was the order by the organization or the top management, it was only for his personal interest.

That ref was caught decades ago and there's been no proof of cheating or fixed games since.  I am aware that there is cheating someway somehow in every sport, but for there to be refs constantly fixing games in the NBA, I think the players would pick up on this.  Players care a lot about the outcome of game, they make a ton of money as is..if anyone knew it was going on they would and they wouldn't stand for it as a whole.

Exactly, the refs are caught cheating but it was not by the order of the organization, it was only his personal motive to cheat the game for his satisfaction, with that said, it means NBA is not rigged but only refs or players trying to rig the game, it's already out of their control but they'll sanction them if they find people guilty of doing it.
2735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Player protection - stop loss limit on: November 20, 2020, 07:01:23 AM
I never seen a casino that offers that kind of features, all they want is to maximize their profit, so it doesn't make sense if they'll put that kind of feature. However, there's something similar to that, a self exclusion from Nitrogensports, if you activate it, you'll not gamble for a certain game for a period of time you set, I just don't know if they are still making it active now.
2736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Free betting tips by Janinjo on: November 20, 2020, 06:36:44 AM
Great thread, hopefully you'll share a profitable pick so you'll get gamblers attention.
I've seen some threads like  this but it didn't last, they only start good but then OP stop updating the thread.

I would be interested on picks for basketball also, hopefully you'll have one.
2737  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we going to see another PANIC on: November 19, 2020, 10:50:16 PM
This level is where people will sell Bitcoin, especially people who buy it during March-April,
be careful with corrections, it might drop below $ 17k again, in my opinion like that,
because there is still no sign that Bitcoin this year will go to All time high, even though it has crossed $ 18,000.
The chances for Bitcoin correction are huge but won't fall below $ 15k.  when the Bitcoin market corrects at $ 17k it will bounce back and go past $ 18k, soon we will see Bitcoin hitting ATH ($ 20k) and possibly passing it.  let's tighten your seatbelts..
No one can ascertain what price bitcoin will fall or rise, but the momentum not is really bullish so it could reach a new ATH but it's expected to fall after than, but like I said, we never know what would be a new ATH before the price will start to correct.
2738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler living in England makes a $5M bet on Trump on: November 19, 2020, 10:39:45 PM
That's a very huge amount of money. I'm sure that that person has been doing gambling for such a long time that he's able to bet a very huge amount of money. There will surely be regrets if he lost but I guess he will still be able to handle it well. It will only take a few days for him to know the result. He'll be lucky if Trump would get a chance to win his candidacy again.
Trump has lost the election and this gambler has lost a huge amount of money. But I think he has a lot of money. Otherwise, he would not have bet on such a large amount

The election result was been out already a few days ago and Yes he do lost a 5million bets on this election but i bet that this man has a lot of money thats why he didn't doubt to put such a huge bet. I am wondering now what does a millionaire feels whenever they get failed on betting sports like this? Did they feel the same way as how we feel whenever we get lost our bets even if our bets was just a small amount.
what about those rumors that questions the win of biden and it was supported by few of the respected bookies because they did not gave the winning of the election bettors  . was that already been resolved ? he could still have a chance to resurect his million dollar and take home a profit .
if a millionaire lost this huge , they dont despair too much like we did as a small gamblers because they have sources to replenish the wealth that have depleted .

Honestly bookies don't make decisions according to rumors only, the reason why bets aren't graded yet is because they are waiting for an official announcement that Biden have won the election.
2739  Economy / Economics / Re: Which is better, staking or investing? on: November 19, 2020, 10:24:10 PM
I would prefer for investing because I can earn bigger profit than staking. I already tried staking and it's just a small percentage of profit for a long period of time. But of course in investing you need to do a research and study about the project that you want to invest and you also need enough knowledge about it.
Completely agree here and one can take the example how Bitcoin investors made profits and compare how much they would have earned had they bought a token and earned staking rewards on that, surely Bitcoin investment profits are way higher than any staking rewards so it all depends on which coin one wants to stake or invest and based on that the decision can be taken.

I also avoid staking because you have to lose control over your coins during staking and that is not a safe option no matter how trusted the exchange is and even if it is Binance, I would still prefer to hold my keys with myself.

We all have our point and we have the right to make our own decision, actually staking is not bad, just know the risk and don't put everything to have in one exchange, just learn to minimize the risk, this is what we do. Exchange like Binance won't offer that to us if it does not give benefits for both parties and Binance is by far one of the most legit exchange in the market, they are not likely going to scam investors.
2740  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: who actually moves the price of bitcoin? on: November 19, 2020, 06:50:40 AM
When there is a sudden movement of abnormal movement, I believe it's the whales are moving it, or safe to say they started it, and when people got into FOMO, then it's from the typical investors who are helping to move it.

Actually not only on the pump, but also in the dump as well as whales could manipulate the price by dumping their bitcoin too so it would result to a panic in the market, they are still doing it at the right timing though, so it will attract action from people.
