2721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The goodness of long-term investing in cryptocurrency on: December 05, 2022, 05:13:50 PM
Cryptos are really underestimated when it comes to long term investments. People shows more trust on FDs, SIPs and golds for long term investment. I mean they do it so as they don’t have complete knowledge on the cryptos. Cryptos can really be a great asset to invest for long term. And if we compare the history stats, then definitely the investors have got more than 100x profits in some years. I completely agree that the risk involved is pretty high, but guess what the returns is also high. Now we need to just analyse the risk and invest accordingly for long term in these brilliant cryptos.

I agree with your opinion that good crypto projects in general and Bitcoin in particular, are the best assets to hold for long term and no other class of asset can compete with Bitcoin when we compare the growth it achieved (Bitcoin returns are outstanding). It has registered tremendous growth during the past 15 years. But we need to be very choosy in picking crypto assets, Bitcoin and Ethereum are considered best investments for long term and make good research before investing in all other projects.

However, most experienced investors already knew which altcoins they would be investing in, whereas newcomers will always buy bitcoin because it is well-known and provides a guaranteed profit in the long run. If you don't want to hold a bitcoin, the top five altcoins are the best to invest in because they are safe and secure. For the time being, avoid new coins because they are not safe and usually die after a few months, unlike well-known and established coins where you can get news every day and keep track on a daily basis.
2722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Need to join 1BTC club on: December 05, 2022, 03:47:06 PM
Dear All

Most of the crypto people like to collect 1 BTC in his life. What is the best method to collect 1 BTC? I am not talking overnight , gambling , Ponzi schemes. Genuine method and i know it will take time.

"Investing is a long term one" China wall not made in one day"

There are only two options to obtain 1 bitcoin: either someone gifts it to you or you buy it. That is the quickest way to obtain one bitcoin, but it is extremely expensive. You can also earn it by doing tasks, and your salary is paid in bitcoin, but it still takes time and is not stable. The signature campaign is also there, but you need to save it until you get 1 bitcoin. So if you have money, then buy it directly; if not, try to earn it through signature campaigns, trading, etc. any task that you get paid in bitcoin.
2723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First time of owning bitcoin on: December 05, 2022, 01:36:05 PM
Not too quite long I had a section in my home where I had to discuss with some of my neighbors about cryptocurrency/bitcoin and to an extent explained to them how the industry operates and the benefits it can offer. But this is not the actual point of my discussion anyway.
The thing here is that one of the person's I had that round table discussion with was to my oblivion doing  some personal research privately about bitcoin based on all she has been told about it for the past many days after that very discussion. And so yesterday she came to me asking that I should assist her in purchasing bitcoin worth about $160 as she is avoiding on making mistake by doing it by herself alone since it's her first time. After every process and the said amount of bitcoin was purchased successfully into her account, immediately there was this expression of the feeling of joy the lady expressed with a wide smiles that seem unending and I was amazed at such level of excitement she showed.

Then after she left, I started asking myself, like did I also acted same way when I first got my own bitcoin or is the lady just been overwhelmed knowing she now own a certain amount of bitcoin or am I missing something as to why she reacted the way she did?

For you how was your own reaction/expression in your first time of purchasing and owning bitcoins, was it so different? I would love to know!

my first investment in bitcoin dates back to 2016, it was my first absolute investment in cryptocurrencies and I was quite happy to take this step, because I knew I was investing for the future, still today I am happy with the choice made

You were extremely fortunate to have purchased bitcoin in that year, 2016. That is also the year I first learned about bitcoin. At that time, I was earning bitcoin but not keeping it or saving it, as I mostly spent it at restaurants (as I was very eager to eat in those restaurants since we couldn't afford them before, but because of bitcoin, I can now afford them). 2016 was also the year of ponzi schemes, and most newcomers (including myself) were scammed because we thought that was the only way to earn bitcoin.
2724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People who don't use hardware wallets: Why not? on: December 05, 2022, 12:07:20 PM
People don't have spare money to buy a hardware wallet since it is very costly, but you will improve your security once you have one. I also don't have a hardware wallet, firstly because I don't have spare money to buy it, and, at the same time, I don't want to be less cautious because I am thinking that I do have a hardware wallet, so they can't touch my wallet. Though if I have the opportunity, it is fine with me, but for the time being, I am focusing on improving my security and being cautious about everything.
2725  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The patience to hold is a gift on: December 05, 2022, 10:15:04 AM
To hold especially for an average investor is a strong contention to deal with. Over and again we hear the echo of hold from every where around the crypto industry. Long term will always pay big someday but for the investors who have nothing to spare their investment could be tempting. The urge to withdraw will always come. Sometimes not for pleasure but to solve pressing needs.
It's not really easy to hold if that's not your spare money and you're only relying with your investment. It's tempting to sell especially if you already need it. So how can you hold for long period if you started investing using the money that you can't live without? This is one of the reason why some of us failed to hold for long term despite of the fact that it's a good strategy to gain since it's already proven to be profitable especially for holding an established coins. It really takes guts and patience but not everyone can do it even they want to try.

When you hold a bitcoin, the first enemy you face is yourself; you will be tempted to sell it for a small profit because you are afraid it will fall in value. Also, when the price is low and you are losing money, you are tempted to sell it to cut losses. When we hold bitcoin, we should have a target profit or a target date for when we will sell it so that we have a concrete plan that this is the right time to take profit, as well as a limit as to where this would be the trigger point to sell it to cut the loss.
2726  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading is good for traders with passive mindset on: December 05, 2022, 07:06:41 AM
Trading can be a hectic endeavor must, especially for those who are not persistent in their trading journey, but those who put all their time and mind into trading will develop skills over time that makes them more stable in trading. So in conclusion trading is for the passive mindset and not for the laggy mindset.

The volatile crypto market is unpredictable and most traders experience losing money. When trading, you need enough time to learn and adapt to things, control your emotions and maintain a good attitude, consider buying and selling after proper analysis to obtain as much profit as possible, and also bear the corresponding trading risks.

Obtaining as much profit as possible is a sign of greed; this is the reason why the trader is losing all his money. You can't get that profit because you will lose because of greed. That is why you have a daily target profit; once you achieve it, you will now stay away from the screen and try again to trade tomorrow. This is really a newbie's mindset: they want to get all the profit but end up losing their capital.
2727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: under-age gamblers on: December 05, 2022, 05:24:01 AM
.....then to my shock i was boy aged around 14 to 15 years who came in and gave the cashier a booking code to place the bet and give him the coupon and the cashier collected and i was like isn't this too little to be involved in such acts.
There are countries whose legal age is 16 and there may be others with lower number as their age of consent. I doubt the one or two-year age gap won't really be that big of a factor when we talk about the "side effects" of gambling addiction at an early age.

Our government is also pushing this legal age due to incidents involving minors, mostly 17 years old. It has really good aspects to have this 16- to 17-year-old legal age. At this generation's age, 16 to 17, people are more mature than they were in my time, and they are more curious about things that we parents can't stop.
Mostly, those side effects greatly affect those teens, as that is where they start learning what is really in the world, and this is also the time that teens get curious, which is where the addiction starts.
2728  Economy / Economics / Re: 5 things you should not do with your money to get rich on: December 05, 2022, 03:34:24 AM
5 things you should not do with your money to get rich or advance your lives

Saving doesn't make us rich, it just makes us more selfish with ourselves. If you want to become rich, you should work hard and give your best, not save. A rich person is someone who doesn't have to worry about money. If you have a lot of money but dare not spend it, no one will say you are rich. Don't just save money without knowing what else to do.

Saving will not make us wealthy, but in an emergency, you will have something to get on because it is difficult to obtain an emergency loan from a bank in that time and you will also incur debt. In saving, your goal is not to become rich, since to become rich you need to have multiple sources of income. Your main purpose in saving is so that when you really need money, you can get it. I don't think saving is a selfish act since you save for your future and for your family, so it won't be selfish at all.
2729  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Im looking For good signals channels on: December 05, 2022, 02:27:47 AM
Honestly people making us fool and they want to get profit but we get lose they show that they are expert in trading and we give them $ in every month for gaining signal but actually they making us fool. We should to learn analyse the graph and we can trading .Trading is good thing if we have knowledge and if we take risk we can earn more.

They are not making us fool, they are scamming those newbies, they are scammers, and they are not trading experts; as real trading expert, they need more time to manage the telegram channel. There are a lot of professional traders that going to mentor you for free as long as he/she can see your potential on you. I have friends who tend to help their other friends in trading for free but only in their free time. Stay away from those trading signals, as it is useless.
2730  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people withdraw their generosity during crisis? on: December 04, 2022, 04:46:33 PM
What timing to me. There's this one family that I used to help at most times when I'm able but yesterday when I wasn't able to give them what they were asking, they treated me as if I'm the worst guy in the world. I don't understand why there are people who like them, they're grateful when we're helping them and that's common. But, whenever we're not able to give them some help because we're also dealing with our personal matters and lives, they're thinking badly of us. I'm good with helping grateful people but I guess there's a limitation on this, when they've asked you and you're not able to aid them and they're telling some bad words against you, that's off.

This is the sign that you need to drop the help that you brought to them and also tell them that you've done this before when they needed help, and now when you decline their request, they will be saying harsh words. Make sure they know that you will not help them anymore as your effort is useless. Many people I've known have already gone through this, which is why most people don't help their friends who are in need if they know they will complain if their request for help is denied.
2731  Economy / Economics / Re: House is a forced saving on: December 04, 2022, 03:50:17 PM
Home maintenance costs are expensive, I have been home investing and every year I rented, and after almost 6 years I want to sell it turns out that the offer from the buyer is lower than I bought, the buyer reasoned that the building was not feasible and what he counted was a value Land, in addition to home maintenance costs Another thing is the cost of environmental management that is also expensive.
What you say and what you experience is very different from what is where I am now. Because here, where I am, land prices and ready-to-live-in houses are always considered better and not cheap. Even if the house building that is already on the ground has to be repaired, the price will not drop too much because considering that building a house from scratch again is very expensive too.

Not only in your area but in almost every area, the real estate business is never cheap, things always increase over time and get expensive. Just looking at the density of the world's population, which is increasing every year, and the almost mandatory housing need, it makes no sense to say that the real estate business is not profitable.

Real estate business or house rental can be said to be the safest form of investment today, real estate business is not interested by many because it requires a large initial capital, so only a few people can do it. But people with money always want to buy real estate or do business with it.

Because of the recession, the real estate industry is struggling right now, as buyers are not buying right now or do not have the income or money to buy it since almost all of the foods and items right now are too expensive. Also, I just heard on the news that many people in the real estate industry are being laid off in order to cut losses. During this time, the price of the house is lower than its original price so that it can attract buyers, but if there was no recession, the real estate business is very profitable, and every year it is booming.
2732  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Share your Crypto experience. on: December 04, 2022, 02:58:25 PM
I've seen a lot of newbies who engage immediately in futures trading and then they come back here only to whine about their losses. Well, that was their fault. There is nothing we can do about it.

It's because most people, especially newbies, are smart and bright during the bull run. They think profiting is easy as 1,2,3. The same goes with Future Trading, once they successfully gained some profits during the first phase of their actual run, their mindset is, it's not that hard to gain profit in crypto.

And after the series of wins, consecutive losses take place which leads to frustrations, disappointment, and regrets.

It's good for me to see newbies struggling since that will be their foundation in becoming good traders in the future.

Consecutive losses filter out those newbies that don't want to continue; this is really the testing phase in which you'll see if your strategy in putting trades and your risk management are working well since no matter how good your strategy is without a proper risk-reward ratio, you'll still end up losing everything. Experience is a good foundation; losses mold you to be a better trader and also strengthen your strategy, with which you can win more trades. Mental health is also the key in trading; if you can control it, then you are good to go.
2733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Types Of Online Casinos To Avoid.. on: December 04, 2022, 01:51:59 PM
Online Casinos Without Online Presence/Community
From my observations, I think online casinos without online presence or community of users are likely to scam any user and get away with it easily, and it doesn't matter if they have a high trust rating, this is because when they refuse to process your withdrawal and the customer support is not responding or not helping, the user in reality have no place to complain that will force the casino to pay him of lose a great number of their users if not all...
-cut-
Having community is important with every possible online service that involves money. I don't use any service that doesn't have some sort of place for users to chat freely. That helps me determine that it's legit very fast. Also one good sign is having few negative comments with admin replying to them, among of hundreds positive comments from active users. That shows that they won't be trying to get rid of bad press but want to serve all of their users.

Most of the business today really needs community, mostly in those casinos. Unlike before, their customer service is enough. Now they need to have a bitcointalk thread, social media pages, and a group where users can freely say anything they want and also follow up on the tickets or issues that you've raised. Casinos or other online businesses that involve users who need to deposit money need to have a community, not just for support issues but also so that new users are aware of the problem and become more cautious..
2734  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Shall we create a small chat room to communicate? on: December 04, 2022, 12:59:05 PM
Hi everyone,guys
I had an idea to create a group chat for members of this forum
People here are familiar with cryptocurrencies and know what they are dealing with
What if we create a small chat in telegram and share trading tips with each other?
Not only analyze the market, but also communicate, share interesting stories about how someone got into cryptocurrency
I haven't seen such a suggestion on this forum and i would like to implement it
I believe people and i think that in such difficult times we have to stick together somehow
What do you think?
I may not be able to make it because people on this forum have become mean lately, but i want to try Sad
Write in personal messages if you have an idea or a desire to implement it
Don't be shy Grin

I've seen a couple of Discord servers that were posted here in the forum, and I am sure there are already a lot of them since it is easy to create them, but most of the users really want to communicate here in the forum, so it is not necessary to create one since we are already communicating here and it is working the same as those messaging platforms. I am also not interested in joining this chat room since the forum is already perfect for exchanging information and there are no spam posts, unlike in a room where there is a lot of spam and at the same time, it is difficult to backread messages as a lot of messages keep popping up.
2735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is the most Preferred Choice on: December 04, 2022, 11:54:40 AM
Bitcoin as so many advantages as an assets it change people's lives globally today without bitcoin some people would have still they suffering, the main is for you to make your transaction with depending on anyone.

Bitcoin changes many people's lives but not everyone will become richer, there are many people investing in bitcoin losing and losing a lot. Bitcoin is a highly profitable investment but needs analysis and research, if you buy bitcoin for $69k, you are currently making a loss, not a profit.

We always think only about getting profit, but when someone gets a profit from bitcoin, surely there are other people losing money. This is really the cycle in the market. I know with the price right now, a lot of people are down, and they are just holding on since they are already down and don't want to sell it at a loss. Bitcoin really is a highly profitable investment, but it is also very risky, and you are very prone to losing all your money if you don't have risk management, so invest what you can afford to lose.
2736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I won $128,000 and it's been a week waiting for game provider verification on: December 04, 2022, 10:46:44 AM
Hi all - so I have been playing at smaller crypto casino for a few years now. They have a TRX site and a USDT site. I have always played at the TRX site and have always had no issues with withdrawals etc. (Largest was around $26K USD)

I've started playing the USDT side recently and a week ago won $128K USD playing a few different Habanero and CQ9 games. I am waiting just over a week now with the casino telling me they are waiting for a verification report from the game provider and then they'll release my funds.

Not gonna lie I am getting worried and wanted to ask if anyone else has had a similar experience or may have some insight. Thanks in advance!!

Keep following up to see the progress and what the status of their verification is since mostly this smells fishy because when you win, it will be directly credited to your account. If not, it will not take weeks for it to be verified. I can't conclude this, but try to follow up on a daily basis for another week. If there is still no action, that would be a scam. Then stay away from that casino since that is a scam. Please then name the casino and post reviews every time that you can post that it's a scam website..
2737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First time of owning bitcoin on: December 04, 2022, 09:54:36 AM
For you how was your own reaction/expression in your first time of purchasing and owning bitcoins, was it so different? I would love to know!
I started with shitcoins and saw hell before eventually buying bitcoins. If I remember correctly, it wasn't a feeling of excitement I had but that of relief. Relief that I had escape shitcoin hell. The excitement that I had was in seeing my investment 2x at that time and taking profits. The excitement was also in using  the profits in getting a laptop computer and some of the other fine things of life.

I am glad that you are starting to profit from your investment in bitcoin. It is really hard to make money from shitcoins since they have no value at all. I would suggest that you try to reinvest your profit in bitcoin since you could earn more profit from it. Though your choice is to buy laptop accessories, it is not necessary right now. Instead, think more about how you can invest more in bitcoin so that your profit will be doubled. It is also good to buy it again now that the price is so low.
2738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: under-age gamblers on: December 04, 2022, 07:45:28 AM
under-age gambling.any side effects?
Firstly gambling is a habit that becomes an addiction when not properly control and its really gonna eat you up likewise making you restless and not always focused on things you should do.

The  rate at which i see young minds and teens involved in the act of gambling in my area is really alarming and because of the poor regulatory bodies controlling the laws in my area they can't really do anything about this and its really affecting this young age.
Gambling has become a thing for everyone in my locality with out any age restrictions and am just curious If this is not going to cause side effects on this young gamblers.

Just the other day i was predicting  some games in the world cup in a betshop cause my network was bad so i can't stake online  so i decided to go to the betshop to place the bet, then to my shock i was boy aged around 14 to 15 years who came in and gave the cashier a booking code to place the bet and give him the coupon and the cashier collected and i was like isn't this too little to be involved in such acts.

And am just curious if this won't affect the person in times to come

Mostly the reason why they won't allow underage persons in gambling is because it can make them addicted to it, and you know that if this comes, you can't control yourself as well as you are going to do everything, no matter what just to gamble, it's sort of like doing drugs. Also, there are a lot of reasons why they are going to gamble. First, they were just told by their parents to bet on this as a task for them, and second, they have friends who will tell them to bet since they can earn money on it.
2739  Economy / Economics / Re: Share Your Best Money Advice Based on Personal Experience on: December 04, 2022, 06:06:49 AM

I'd go first -  Stay out of debt as much as you can.

I couldn't buy the things that we needed for our home in cash, which is why I needed to get a loan or pay them in installments, making it difficult to stay out of debt.

For me, it is always good to have a savings account or save some of your money for emergencies and future purposes since we really don't know when we will need it, and it doesn't matter if you start small as long as you just saved money.
