2721  Other / Meta / Re: changing the password be categorized as a trading account on: February 15, 2022, 07:03:26 AM
No. There wouldn't be any problem.
I recommend you to stake a bitcoin address on "Stake your Bitcoin address here" thread.
In the case you are accused of buying the account, you will be able to prove that you are the real owner of the account. A staked address can also help you if you lose access to your account for any reason and want to recover that.

Note that you should use an address which you have full control over that, so you can to sign a message from that.
2722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Supertokenomics or bad ? Opinions ? on: February 14, 2022, 08:43:17 PM
I agree, but I see negativity in your sentences. Not all shit/meme tokens are scams.
It depends on what is your definition of scam.
In my opinion, any coin/token which has been created without any real product, without any new technology, without solving any problem and without any purpose other than making money for the creator is a scam.
The coin/token may give a big profit to some holders and traders. There may be a real team behind the coin/token, a whitepaper and a road map. It may be listed on big exchanges and still be a scam.
2723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Supertokenomics or bad ? Opinions ? on: February 14, 2022, 05:37:03 PM
Do you know the intensions behind them ? Or why trap
When they say they will burn a portion of the tokens, some people think that with burning the tokens and decreasing the total supply, token's price will rise. So they buy the tokens before the burning.
Newbies don't pay attention to the fact that they are burning the tokens that have been created by themselves from the thin air.
They can easily create as many as tokens they want and then promise to burn them. This doesn't make the tokens valuable.
2724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Supertokenomics or bad ? Opinions ? on: February 14, 2022, 05:22:44 PM
Yes, but as I  read they not burning the 85% of the total supply, they burning the sold tokens.
Example:
I buy 1 million token exactly, then few days later I sell, so 85% from 1 million (850 000) will be burning from the real total supply. Maybe I did not understood it well!
It's still easy.
They create 1 billion tokens, sell 500 millions of them and keep the other 500 million tokens in their own wallet.
Now they should sell 85% of 500 million tokens which is 425 million tokens. They burn 425 million tokens from the 500 million tokens they have kept in their own wallet.
2725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Supertokenomics or bad ? Opinions ? on: February 14, 2022, 04:53:20 PM
So it is legit, whitepaper legit, just can not imagine what the end will be, everyone sells, then burns activated.
How can you know if a project is legit just with reading the whitepaper?
Burning 85% of the tokens doesn't make the tokens valuable.

Let's say I want to create a token with total supply of 1 billion coins.
Instead of issuing 1 billion tokens, I create 100 billion tokens and then burn 99% of them.
Does it change anything? NO. The tokens are still coming from thin air and the it's a scam.
2726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Supertokenomics or bad ? Opinions ? on: February 14, 2022, 04:38:12 PM
Are you sure that they are going to burn the 85% from the sold tokens? Maybe, they are going to burn 85% of the tokens allocated to the team.
Anyway, whatever they are going to do, it seems to be a shit coin. They are only trying to create hype and deceive people to buy the tokens that are probably coming from thin air. It's a scam.
2727  Other / Meta / Re: Recover hacked account. on: February 13, 2022, 08:13:58 PM
I currently have the option to lock this account via the link the forum sent to my email. But I don't know how the next process will be because all the bitcoin addresses that I have used I can't access. Do you have a solution for me?
Lock the account. It's surely better than allowing the hacker to use the account.
If you can't sign message from a bitcoin addresses you have used before, it would be difficult to recover your account. I'm not sure, but since you still have access to the original email address, the recovery team may accept your request.
2728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About USDT on: February 12, 2022, 06:57:48 PM
When I tracked it on coinmarketcap I found out that's it passed audits through Certik and Fairyproof, why haven't this clear the rumour that USDT might fail someday?
I don't have much information about those audits. But most probably they have only audited the smart contract. For example, they ensure that there is no vulnerability in the smart contract.

One of the main concerns about USDT tokens is that there is no proof that the tokens are backed by real dollar.
The other problem is that the tokens can be freezed at any time without any reason even in your own wallet.
2729  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Things to consider when choosing a Bitcoin wallet on: February 12, 2022, 06:02:19 PM
Exodus wallet sucks and that's a wrong wallet to advice newbies to use, do you know how important a decentralized and open source wallet is? Exodus isn't one of them, electrum and trust wallet are the best mobile wallets around and the biggest best is hardware wallet, period.
You mention the importance of being open-source and then you recommend using trustwallet?
When it comes to security, I don't see any difference between Exodus and trustwallet. Both are close-course and we don't know whether they have access to the keys or not.
2730  Other / Meta / Re: GASTY4 APPEAL on: February 12, 2022, 04:00:01 PM
Large amount? Why a large sum if the only goal is to shows that he owns the wallet and has the ability to send and receive money? Don't you think any amount should suffice as long as it proves something?
Since that address belongs to an exchange, he is not able to send bitcoin from that. In the case he makes a withdrawal, the fund will probably be sent from the exchange's hot wallet.
Also, sending bitcoin to that address can't prove the ownership. Because everyone is able to do so. If he sends a large amount to that address, it probably means that he owns the wallet. Because he will lose the fund if he is lying.
2731  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Help+Reward! Restoring Electrum wallet from 24 word seed on: February 12, 2022, 02:46:31 PM
Are you sure that the 24 word seed phrase has been generated by electrum? By default, electrum generates a seed phrase including 12 words.
I also doubt your seed phrase belongs to a 2FA wallet.

Anyway, click "Options" when importing the seed phrase into electrum, check "BIP39 seed" and see if it works.
In the "Script type and derivation path" window, select "legacy" if your addresses start with 1, select "p2sh-segwit" if they start with 3 and select "native segwit" if they start with bc1.
2732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Tether Ethereum? on: February 11, 2022, 10:46:27 PM
First of all, note that tether is not ethereum. Tether (or USDT) is a token that has been issued on many blockchains.
One of the blockchains in which you can make a USDT transaction is ethereum.

All USDT transactions that are made on ethereum blockchain can be seen on any ethereum explorer.

2733  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where comes and how exchanges gets the bitcoins that I buy? on: February 11, 2022, 10:24:23 PM
In other words: if I buy BTC from the exchange, where does the exchange buy/gets the BTC that are available or may be needed?
I feel you didn't get JeromeTash's reply.

When you buy bitcoin on an exchange, you actually buy bitcoin from other users, not the exchange itself.
You deposit fiat and place a buy order. Someone else deposits bitcoin and sell it to you. After that, you will be able to withdraw bitcoin and the other user will be able to withdraw fiat.

So, for every satoshi added to a user's balance, one satoshi is deducted from another user's balance.
2734  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitex.financial -- SCAM or TRUSTWORTHY ? on: February 10, 2022, 09:32:33 PM
Because they said i have 3.65 BTC there, but i must put some (little) cash to reach it....
Any service asking you make a deposit to be able to make a withdrawal is 99.99% scam.

I might probably believe it if they ask for Identification but I'll also doubt it even if they ask for identification.
Why should you believe them if they ask for identification?
If they ask you to verify your identity, it would even increase the risk of using their service. There's a big probability that they abuse your documents or sell them.
2735  Other / Meta / Re: About posts (merited) - bpip.org on: February 10, 2022, 09:07:51 PM
all disputed posts are from 2018, I am not sure that even then Loyce.club began to scrap all posts. Probably LoyceV can confirm.
LoyceV started to scrap posts on July 21, 2019. (This is the first post that has been scrapped by loyce.club.) Later, LoyceV scraped older posts too. [Ref.]
As those posts haven't been scrapped by loyce.club, means that they had been deleted and were unavailable at the time they were being scrapped.
2736  Other / Meta / Re: About posts (merited) - bpip.org on: February 10, 2022, 06:36:40 PM
In order to check which posts have been merited, you can use loyce.club too.
All the posts that are not shown on BPIP have been deleted. I tried to find them using ninjastic.space and loyce.club. But none of them have the record of those posts.

Also, if you have any question about BPIP, you can ask on their thread too.
2737  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: How much BTC can I mine per day with 30TH/s? on: February 08, 2022, 08:24:40 PM
Those are very small amounts of BTC. I think I'll stay solo mining at least for one year. Might not be as worthy as one year of pool mining, but with just these TH/s i prefer gambling for the big prize instead of the peanuts.
It's very unlikely that you can mine a block. But it's possible. Good luck.
Currently, the total hash rate is around 190 Eh/s and you own 1.58 * 10-7 of the total hash rate.

Assuming the total hash rate won't change in the next 365 days, your chance to mine at least one block in a year is only around 0.83%
2738  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Mining Issues on: February 08, 2022, 07:46:31 PM
These miners have been asking the group of guys for "fees" of 100k... 150k...
100K - 150K dollars?

A group of people have invested money in a service, so the service mine bitcoin for them.
They don't know where are the mined bitcoin now at all and the service is charging them a fee to let them move the mined bitcoin.

Am I getting the story right? If so, that's clearly a scam. Tell them to not waste their time and money.
2739  Other / Meta / Re: GASTY4 APPEAL on: February 07, 2022, 07:57:56 PM
(1) Starting from the campaign I was participating before my account got hacked. This link https://ibb.co/4pHKwsh attest that the wallet in WINZ.io spreadsheet belongs to me Gasty4.
This proves that 3Px9yxkNqTZYmqJnxn7nuAnoajhWa4MwBK belongs to Gasty4. But the problem is that there is no proof that you are the owner of Gasty4 account.

(2) Secondly, I have to indicate were my wallet address is attached for payment from the Blockchain which I received payment, please access this link: https://ibb.co/6bBwgfH
All bitcoin transactions are public and everyone is able to take this image from blockchain.

(3) This is to show everyone my wallet ID [ https://ibb.co/m5xsVbb ] direct from the source being Remitano exchange of cryptocurrency, I used Remitano because it's possible and easier for me to exchange my Bitcoin to fiat currency.
I don't think the recovery team accept this as a proof of your ownership over Gasty4 account.
Images can be edited easily. Note that I'm not saying you have edited the image.
2740  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How Coinbase knows an account is from a sex worker? on: February 07, 2022, 05:39:48 PM
Deposits and withdrawal history would detect though that is related to a porn site, but really does it indicates as a sex worker?
Not really. Making deposits or withdrawals to a porn website doesn't mean the user is a sex worker. But if that's detected, it should be enough for the account to get closed.
According to their User Agreement, having connection (which probably means deposits and withdrawals) with any sexually-related services is prohibited.

By opening a Coinbase Account, you represent and warrant that you will not use Coinbase Services or the Coinbase Platform in connection with any of the following businesses, activities, practices, or items:

 (I) Adult Content and Services: pornography and other obscene materials (including literature, imagery and other media); sites offering any sexually-related services such as prostitution, escorts, pay-per view, adult live chat features;
