2741  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] Fake Diem Ico website.... on: November 07, 2021, 03:44:40 AM
Ridiculous! It's not new though, Facebook themselves advertising their impersonators. We have seen when the plan was to launch Libra coin and the same thing happen. Scammers use Facebook to advertise their scams. Facebook's AI technology is failed to detect such as a scam. Reporting them also wouldn't help much as I have reported a few before but all of them was exist.

However, I don't think they will be able to scam and raise funds. People already know about this type of scam, especially if this is the name of Big company.
2742  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Colires is a serial scammer on: November 07, 2021, 03:30:59 AM
Sadly no one in the world can save you from being a scam. Yes, I can guarantee that. Because Colires have multiple red tags and red flags as well. Since you PM'd him means you are aware of his flags and red tags hence you send first. Now imagine who can save you from being a scam, only you can save yourself.

The moderator or forum DT member couldn't help you and sorry to say you lost it. DT members only could tag and it was done a long ago. If you took a lesson from this scam then you should learn how to save your funds.
2743  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for a marketing specialist for gaming project on: November 06, 2021, 04:03:12 PM
Do you mean gambling project? Or just a gaming project? It would be great to discuss if you share the project details and initial marketing budget. There are so many places to run ads and marketing. So it depends on your project which would be the best place for marketing. The forum popular advertising strategy is forum ads and signature campaigns.

So please add more details in your thread or ping me about the details. I had made a successful marketing plan for a couple of gambling sites. So hopefully I can help you as well.
2744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have 500 lost Bitcoin - need help on: November 06, 2021, 03:44:48 PM
Trolling post!
Same as others, I believe OP just trolling here. Because if OP's story were true then his first post should be about lost Bitcoin. On the other hand, he hadn't shared from where he bought and where stored as well. Who know if this is a scam attempt like old scam methods. Previously we have seen asking security to hand over wallet credentials.

Anyway, I am not gonna feed OP either for merit or recover funds.
2745  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Exchanges with no KYC Policy on: November 06, 2021, 03:45:15 AM
I am assuming you are looking for a non-KYC centralized trading exchange. Here is where we regret, a reputed exchange like Binance also didn't require KYC for withdrawals though there were limits. But lately, they changed the withdrawals policy and required KYC for all the users. Here we have to be hopeless, always should be ready to provide KYC if you use the centralized exchange. You have to move into a decentralized exchange if you have a privacy issue about KYC. But the problem is the desired trading pair and volume.

Anyway, I am not familiar with KuCoin who allows withdrawals without KYC. Even there, but they wouldn't much be reputed IMO expect decentralized.
2746  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature Campaigns on: November 06, 2021, 03:26:22 AM
Before running a signature campaign, you should run a review camping about your bot. So the Bitcointalk community would make sure your trading bot is safe and secure which would help to improve trading profits. Because very rarely we have seen a trading bot signature campaign.

Anyway, hope you will get someone from the above list that has been suggested by other users. If in case you need my help, don't hesitate to PM me.
2747  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for Co-founders/Partners on: November 04, 2021, 03:51:20 AM
Seems the concept is good, but I doubt you will get a direct investor from here. But yes, most likely you would get contributors for your project who would help you to move up. So, your concept is a peer-to-peer exchange, and centralized exchange, the concern is many similar existing platforms exist on the market. Make sure users will get a few new features on your exchange and that would be a good reason to use it as well. I have seen the same exchange but unfortunately, they failed to gain the market.
2748  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: A Bitcoin Marketplace for everyone on: November 04, 2021, 03:40:07 AM
What exactly is new that doesn't exist in the existing marketplace? Multi-sing wallet? It's just the same as Fiverr. Because multi-sign wallet means you must sign the transaction if the buyer refuses to do. So here is come censorship, you have to investigate who did the fault. It's the same on Fiverr if the buyer has no dispute then the fund will be released to the seller. If buyers dispute then they investigate it manually and decide what to do. If you need to prevent fraud there is no alternative to censorship. So ultimately the marketplace just likes the same existing centralized platforms. Just a multi-sign wallet wouldn't make if difference.
2749  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Missing btc from bitcoin-central in 2013 ( paymium ) on: November 04, 2021, 03:00:48 AM
As per their support answer, they aren't going to help you. Because they grave the Bitcoin already since your account is empty. There should be history on your account, doesn't matter they moved to the new domain. The domain isn't related to the data host. Since your account is live then the fund is supposed to be there as well. I will say don't give up. Write their social media and try to take legal action. There is the possibility to get back your fund though it's not an easy task ever. But the amount isn't small right now, so try to do whatever you can to push them.

That's the disadvantage of storing funds into custodial wallet or exchange.
2750  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scam] Coinforte exchange on: November 04, 2021, 02:52:11 AM
I am not getting what do you mean by sending a username and password with fake 20 Bitcoin by "mistake"? If they are spamming on the mail and sending the above credentials, then it won't be by mistake. They are consciously sending fake accounts with fake Bitcoin. It's not a mistake at all. They have collected leaked mail lists somehow and spammed this way. Often I have been receiving such as mail with accounts credentials and files. But I just delete everything immediately. They are direct scammers, stay away from them.
2751  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bumping a Thread which is >120 days old on: November 03, 2021, 04:19:34 AM
If the questions are extremely related to the announcement thread then nothing wrong to post there, no matter thread is too old. It depends on the situation and should take the real-time decision based on the circumstances. If the question is directly not connected with the thread where you are going to ask the questions, then nothing wrong with creating a new thread. Just search on the forum your desired answer exists already. Otherwise creating a new thread is fine. The forum does not prevent anyone to acquire knowledge, the forum only prevents spam.
2752  Other / Meta / Re: Post Deleted For No Good Reason on: November 03, 2021, 04:07:26 AM
You're overthinking this: If a post is not worth existing, a reply to that post shouldn't exist either. That's why a Mod deleted the reply too. It's not automated and won't happen if a user deletes their own post.
Yea, you are right. I just missed the point post deleted manually. I thought the post was deleted automatically upon deleting the quoted post (Lol). Just wondering how I missed it.

Anyway, everything is clear, thanks for clearing it.

@OP, you may lock the thread from lower left since you got the answer.
2753  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Help with transferring funds from hitbtc to Binance on: November 03, 2021, 03:36:03 AM
I know Binance made it complex for newbies. Keep in mind, if any platform just gives you the single option for withdrawal and deposit Bitcoin means it's on the main BTC chain. All other chain is just token, not real Bitcoin. They manage it to save transactions fee and expand their chain. In a word, since Hitbtc gives you a single option to withdraw BTC and there is no other select chain option, so it's confirmed they are gonna broadcast transactions to the main chain, so you select BTC chain from the Binance to generate your deposit address.

Many thanks mates  Smiley. I will choose Segwit to proceed.
If Hitbtc support SegWit then just procced, if not then choose BTC.
2754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wrong BTC Adress, copied from Binance's Dashboard on: November 03, 2021, 03:28:01 AM
I really miss those 0.10btc..

Also, im glad that binance have solved this "button"
Sorry for your loss, Bitcoin is irreversible and that's why you shouldn't hope to get it back once that was moved to the hacker's wallet. The problem didn't exist on the Binance copy button really. The people are your clipboard was hacked hence whatever you copy from Binance it's turn into a hacker's address during pasting somewhere. You should take a lesson from your past mistake, always verify your address multiple times either it's your copied address or someone else's before pressing the send button. Also, don't visit suspicious sites from the device like porn, or don't install any application if you aren't sure that's safe. All the senses should work properly during sending Bitcoin to other wallets.
2755  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Looking for Hashocean Investors who lost money on: November 03, 2021, 02:53:49 AM
The first time hears about Hashocean,  I am not familiar with this scam case as well. Although I had lost a small amount during the revenue share season but never invested in any cloud mining. Once I realize 99% of investing site is just Ponzi scheme, I just ignore all kind of investing sites. The chances of recovering your funds seem quite impossible since it happened a long time ago and cryptocurrency is irreversible. The only way is to identify the scammer and arrest by legal authority. But it also doesn't guarantee that you will get back your funds and this step is also too costly. In these five years scammer become established with scammed funds and it wouldn't easy to force him back all the funds since he would probably spend a lot.
2756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I see the Ethereum gas fee? on: November 02, 2021, 03:53:29 AM
Hello,
How can I see when the Ethereum gas fee network is low? Is https://blocktivity.info/ a good resource?

Thank you.
I don't really understand this source, even I just found out about the site you pointed out, and still to find out a credible gas cost is from here https://etherscan.io/gastracker you can see from the 3 options there are low, average average, high and every second the gas is always changing and erratic so for now the gas cost from Ethereum is very expensive with an average cost of around $20.
Had you read the post exactly above your post? I am quoting that again.

I am not sure about blocktivity didn't use nor familiar with it. Usually, we compare gas fees here https://ethgasstation.info/. So most likely you might check here for the estimated gas fee.  You might also use Etherscan to check the current estimated gas fee as well, here is that https://etherscan.io/gastracker
I am wondering why did you repeat the link https://etherscan.io/gastracker ? I already mentioned it just above your post exactly. Why do you think you should post the link again? If you need to write more detail then you may simply post or post with my quote. At least you should read a few posts where you are going to post.

Anyway hope you will not repeat post like this.
2757  Other / Meta / Re: Post Deleted For No Good Reason on: November 02, 2021, 03:32:02 AM
One possibility is that one of the posts you quoted got deleted, because if I'm not mistaken when that happens yours gets deleted as well.

Sometimes. And it's likely that this is what happened. Obito's post is gone too.

This is the thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5360353
If this is the case then I am just curious, is it normal? Or something wrong? Or did it happen only upon reporting moderators? For example, many users staking addresses on a thread and someone quoting to keep evidence. If the case post got deleted by moderators then the quote will be deleted as well. Even the user can't remember either he had made a post here or not. I know it will not happen, just imagine a scenario. If a post is deleted by a poster, then a quote by others should appear, right? So upon hack account and delete or edit post wouldn't delete the quote.
2758  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain 2014 wallet recovery if any ? on: November 02, 2021, 03:11:47 AM
OP, did you recover the funds? I am just curious to know, you haven't updated for a few whiles. If you succeed then share how eventually did it, so others would take a lesson from here in the same problem. If not yet, then try and try, don't give it up. Otherwise, just contact the Wallet Recovery Service as I mentioned in my first post.

Best of Luck.
2759  Economy / Services / Re: P2P vs popular exchanges on: November 02, 2021, 03:02:55 AM
For the trading crypto to crypto, I have not been using Decentralized exchange or peer-to-peer exchange. But during Selling Bitcoin for liquid, doing peer to peer. I still hadn't used Decentralized exchange, I just sell person to person. I am trading in a centralized exchange because my desired trading pair is there. I don't feel comfortable with centralized exchange since I like instant trading and don't like to burn gas fees as well. I know about the risk, so I am not storing a big amount there. For big funds, I have my Ledger Nano X.
2760  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 Crypto games overview section 🔶 on: November 01, 2021, 03:30:27 AM
Yea, that is a great way to advertise your affiliate links and drive users from the forum. Although this isn't against forum rules posting your site link directly, this doesn't look like your announcement thread as well. So it's not a wise way to advertise your site here. And make sure all the sites are trusted your monitoring site. Because perhaps the gambler would choose a platform based on your listing. If they scammed then it's also your responsibility besides the gambling site. And please make a proper announcement thread.
