Full TOR integration here >>

https://github.com/TorCoinProject/torcoin/tree/tor

Windows and MacOS wallets aren't yet TOR integrated but will be shortly.

We finally got one step forward to the most reasonable outcome. The founder just admitted that the Windows and MacOS wallets are not Tor-integrated YET  Grin.
Thank you "TheTorcoin".

Again, "TheTorcoin", can you please tell us if you plan to hire some devs in order to get these 2 remaining wallets integrated one time for all ? (supposing the Linux wallet is REALLY Tor-integrated).
When talking or hearing about Torcoin, anybody expects it to be integrated to the Tor network. That f*cking makes sense  Roll Eyes ..
You (We  Wink) literally have a gold mine in our hands . Not every coin has the TOR mnemonic, not every coin has such available supply, not every coin has such potential ..

The devs have been working on Android wallet for the past month - it is apparently not so easy to develop this.  Most coins don't have an Android wallet, but TorCoin will. It is costing me 6 BTC (of my own funds, I'm not selling TOR for this)

After Android wallet, then the top priority will be TOR integration for Windows and MacOS wallets.

I'm going to leave the linux client as-is, so people can either download the TOR integrated version or the non-TOR version.

Very sweet you're addressing this issue Smiley
Now we can turn our heads to the future and wait for further development Cheesy

Hello to everyone, I would like to ask question. Where can I mine for free tor coin? Is there any website where can I mine tbis coin.? Because my country not porfitable to mine. Is this possible to mine tor coin to your website even does not miner?

You can simply type how to mine Torcoin on YouTube, and you'll get a dozen results Smiley

Also, only stakes 1 time, then i must resend to myself?
Seems moot Shocked

I run the linux dist

Maybe I'm a noob at this whole staking thing, but I was under the impression that Staking would beging at the PoS phase of the project? Can someone enlighten me on what the stake rates are currently? Couldn't find any information anywhere

Staking right now is almost neglectable I believe.
2743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: my new sport diary with bitcoin bets on: June 01, 2017, 07:55:10 PM
would you be so kind and explain how I can fake the bets? maybe I can learn and make it better or that it can't be faked
Screenshots can be easily edited with the help of Inspect Element. I learned this from the sportsbook's subreddit when other users share their edited image and saying they bet a ton. The better way of sharing your bets is by having a link(like this) from your sportsbook and pm it to iluvbitcoins. I'm not sure if most sportsbook have these features.

I see no problem with that as soon as the screenshots (or even text written slips) are submitted to me before the games start.

2747  Other / Off-topic / Re: Making an apartment coin on: June 01, 2017, 05:18:29 PM
This is the hard part. I don't know how is the situation but maybe you can find some job for less money and work like maybe 2 - 3 days a week. Just for the contract. Some banks have the opportunity for loan for back up from family but you said that your parents could not do it.
I hope you find your self a job and could manage to deal up with this situation.
There were some online BTC loan websites a time ago I don't know if they are going to do the work. Or open Patreon for exchange of something.

I did get a job, but as a student it's illegal for me to work full time therefore I'm not legally considered as employed and am unable to obtain a loan.
2748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking some trusted bitcoin sports betting site. on: June 01, 2017, 05:13:12 PM
The most trustworthy by far IMO is Nitrogensports.eu, been there for years and providing quality service with relatively decent odds, Betfair is also good and I'm using it now too, however don't really know the full history of it so can't just recommend it (although everything is working now and top-notch).
Betfair has been a well-known traditional casino for years, it was also pretty popular for poker.
It's certainly trusted I would say.

I didn't know Betfair accepts bitcoin?

The only one I'v used is CloudBet, and they seem pretty fair

There's also a big deposit bonus but you need to bet a lot to claim all of it
2749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: June 01, 2017, 04:49:01 PM
Yes it's not easy. Although Gambling doesn't seem like the regular addictions like Cigarettes and drugs etc... but it's a heavy physiological addiction and the need for it for some might be the same like cigarettes to others.. You would need serious effort and if possible, some friends help and social activity to leave it.
It will never be an easy habit to give up because gambling addiction is a drug on its own... and stopping this
will require determination and self displine as it can never be fought by our friends or family, its our own battle to fight to put ourselves on the right track.

I think it should be it can be fought with the help of our friends and family even though it's our battle, they will be a big help to us. No man can stand alone by himself if he is a complete gambling addict. Giving up alone will not going to help you because that's why you are addicted, you got it alone and you need some back up on it to make it easy.

Iron clad willpower is needed, only a few can acquire this on their own.
If you know an addict, help him.

Also, an idea is to replace the addiction with virtual gambling (without real money) Cheesy
Yes it's a good alternative if you are an addicted gambler and you mostly lose everything you've got, you can play those virtual gambling or use the play money that casino's are offering. It's just only for fun but still I find it you will be having the crave of real gambling instead of having an easy way to quit it

It would definitely be best to quit alltogether if you're an addicted gambler since replacing your addiction might tempt you to bet with it again.

2751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does the location affect when we gamble? on: June 01, 2017, 04:31:45 PM
I'm not sure where that could determine the end result of the game gambling. Because it will definitely affect the number of gambling users. Gambling games will only accept luck, while the place is not the main reason to win every game.

It can only affect it if the website is not provably fair and for some reason it gives a better edge to certain countries, or larger winnings.

VPNs and gambling are used basically when some website bans certain countries and that's mostly it.

using vpn can help us to play into another country and we can change into many country that we want but to use more than 5 country we need to be a premium members. i think some gamblers will thinking that when they use vpn, they will use the same location if they have a good luck when they are playing gambling but if they don't have a good luck, then they will change into another location and thinking that using another location will help them to win the games.

It depends which VPN you're using

That's just silly, but we already had a thread around here for superstitions, so I guess this would fall in that category..

2753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Superstition on: June 01, 2017, 01:14:25 PM
What a funny issue, is superstition existing yet.?.
Who believes ?.I don't believe.
Living in modern era who believes in superstition.
I don't want to relate superstition with gambling, Because these two things are totally different from each other.
You'd be surprised how many people do. I'd say at least 10% of people on earth are more or less superstitious.
Ask your family how many of them believe in bad luck or luck in general and you'll see.

Yes. Many people believe in superstition and not in vain. From my own experience, I can say that superstitions work and not only in gambling.
You have said that superstition works with gambling as well in other factors. What I would like to ask you is that, how often you win in gambling and next time while selecting the odds with the help of superstition post it in the forum. Let's see whether superstition continue to give winning for a long time.

The problem is they'll find a new superstition then

Ohh, it wasn't the shirt, it was the shoes!
I should of worn them today Sad
2754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know whether its your lucky day? on: June 01, 2017, 11:40:20 AM
Don't rely on luck to make things happen for you.. In the end, it is all your own doing and luck is only some sort of superstition people have.

Most "lucky" people actively put themselves in situations where they can become "lucky".

indeed you got that right. as they say, you make your own luck. people who rely on luck for whatever they do usually ends up the u lucky ones when they're doing nothing. work hard and most of the time you'll have a lucky day

Well, his calendar was true anyways

Our favourite coin rised 1.50% in BTC in the last 24h.  Wink

Pity I missed when it was $4.5 one week ago. Did anyone from here sell at that time?

Anyway, hopefully we'll see $1.20, which was the average price for the whole May, pretty soon. No way I'm selling my Torcoins lower than that.

torcois is very undervalued now and it's worth half of what it was before, it was a wise decision to shutdown the torcoin only campaign because people were dumping and forgot, it was destructive for the coin, i hope we can get again the 60k satoshi value

I hope for that too.  Wink Btw Torcoin is up 28.36% in USD and 19.62% in BTC in the last 24h, so there's hope.

Pity my Windows defender keeps blocking my Torcoin wallet. Now I know how to make it run eventually,  but having to do this every day is very annoying.

Which Windows are you using?
I'm not having any problems with Win10

I'd report it but I'm unsure which win detects it

Homero Joshua Garza ? Is that you ?

I thought it would probably not be supported  Cheesy

In most countries in EU I know that some banks offer some type of pay off.
For example in Spain there were offers from banks you pay 300$/month and if you manage to pay it 10 years you eventualy paid of the loan.
It is like rent/buy. I cannot find the right word for this.
But my opinion is go for it. As you said 40$/night it will pay off some day even without loan maybe. 3 months * 40$/night - 4800$ and if the loan is 600$ / month - 3600$/year.
If you have some where to live in the summer would be great or even take the 1200$ and go on a trip some where Tongue.
Go for it you are young don't stop living Smiley.

I need to have a job otherwise they won't give me a loan Sad
Working over a student contract doesn't qualify for a loan.
2757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When to leave the game? on: May 31, 2017, 11:20:27 PM
exciting but dangerous when you gamble in the long run right?

as you are risking your whole live to gamble which the consequences it is more than just you could lost back the winning money , but also the money that you never intended to stake before , gambling always make you heat and curious , become broke are the only the end you can get.

Not if you gamble responsibly Smiley
2758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What you feel when win in gambling? on: May 31, 2017, 10:40:02 PM
How the hell would I feel when I win, happy ofcourse  Cheesy

The intensity of happiness depends on the odds and amount ofcourse, I won't be very happy if I bet 0.001BTC at a 1.2x bet, but if I win a x100 bet, I'll be happy as hell  Cheesy
You should be more than to feel happy and satisfied when you won a bet at hundreds multiplier.
A feeling that you feel like can buy anything around you!
Proud and losing your mind sometimes to do some crazy action to celebrate the winning right?

Use the profits to buy some Jack Daniels and celebrate the winnings  Cheesy Cheesy
2759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why investing in the bank of a centralized cryptocurrency casino is a bad idea on: May 31, 2017, 10:00:39 PM
A few years ago, there was a bitcoin gambling site that offered a payment scheme to buy "shares" that would allow share owners to collect a percentage of the site's overall profits.

It was implemented as a last ditch attempt by the website owner to cover his losses via distributing them to share owners.

I don't remember what the name of the site was, it ended in .eu. I think it was bitcoinsports.eu.

Anyone wanting to research it can look it up, could be a decent opportunity to learn from history.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=142101.0

Well, that would be a good attempt if the owner was legit?
2760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: May 31, 2017, 09:50:36 PM

We take it simple, gambling is wrong from the beginning, and whatever we do, even though we play gambling correctly and according to the rules, we keep doing the wrong thing, and doing the wrong thing is wrong. And more wrong if we fall deeper until addicted.

It is wrong especially because we will spend alot of money when we play for profit. If we play for fun and only spend few amount then that would be better right. I do it for fun and I spend a little although alot of people keep saying it is wrong however for me as long as I have fun then it is better than spending alot of money like the rest of people did

Nothing in this world is wrong unless you're harming someone else.
As long as you're gambling with your own money gambling can never be wrong.
