2741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why trading is better than gambling? on: May 29, 2017, 09:17:26 AM
Trading is not totally luck based and if you have good skills and strategy then you can expect good profits from it whereas the income from gambling will depend only on how lucky you are on that particular day.

But one shouldn't go for day trading because on a daily basis no one can predict the prices any product and it will be similar to gambling. But if you just buy and keep it to sell when prices go up then trading is a good way to earn some money. Gambling is good only for having some entertainment but shouldn't use it to earn money. Both are for a different purpose and we should use it accordingly.

Trading bitcoin looks so good till today. The price fluctuations can give us very good profit. And as I can feel that this coin wouldn't be dead in the near future, hence continue to trade it, still considered as a good way to make money. While gambling will remain unpredictable. No one knows when the luck will come. The risk is too high at gambling. With trading, even though we make a wrong decision, we bought it and suddenly the price move down, we still have a chance to get profit if we patient enough.

And we have another surprise for you !!!
And then again, thank you Baryom for this nice tourneys, This is becoming a regular matter now. Nice of you giving back to the community by this tourneys.
Good thing that the only allowed members to participate the max reward are Level 5 and above, this will solve the problem about multiple accounts having the auto bet set on lessening there chance to get the max prize. One thing to clarify on the rules, if the 10 Billionth bet is 1 Satoshi will the minimum reward still be .01 BTC?

As per poster says if you place a bet of 1 satoshi on max chance of 90% and it will give you max of 1 btc which is 2500*0.00040000. So if you wanna win the max price you have to bet 40k satoshi on max 90% win chance. and don't forget to be on level 5 or more. Smiley
I don't think you get the rules and condition. The post clearly states that .01 BTC is the minimum prize won on the winning roll. Which from what I understand is that your 1 satoshi can win the minimum prize at 90% chance. And if you look at the last bullet of the rules "If the one who roll the winning bet don't satisfy one of the condition he will win .01 BTC" so even if you are not level 5 you have the chance to win the prize as long as you don't break any other conditions.

True...people who isn't on level 5 still has a chance to win 0.01 from this promotion. And based on the previous milestone, if the person who hit bet id #10000000000 hasn't meet the requirements then Baryom will look at the next bet id until he found the eligible one. I wish this won't be changed!
2743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is better? To gamble or to invest? on: May 29, 2017, 03:19:26 AM
Gambling is not a better choice to compare on investing. But gambling is better and worth trying rather than investing on ponzi/hyip program.

There are people that prefer to gamble more rather than investing because it's their nature and they are more familiar with gambling when it comes to earning. But for us who are in neutral side, we gamble for fun and sometimes for money and we are investing for making profit, think about your hobby and where you will excel, if you're good at investment, go invest.

I prefer to do gamble too because for me investing will require relatively huge amount of money to be able to get good profit. While with gambling, if I was lucky enough, I can turn small amount of money into something good. And frankly, gambling is more fun to do than investing.
2744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a problem gambler? on: May 28, 2017, 06:21:37 PM
Gambling would be a problem if it disrupted our finances considerably and took up most of our time. So far, I am still within reasonable limits and I declare myself that I have no gambling problem.
2745  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | Most Popular, Oldest & Trusted | Huge Community | Free BTC | 🎂 on: May 28, 2017, 05:47:47 AM
Ed will be livestreaming a giveaway in 2 hours! (6:30am forum time)

https://Twitch.tv/primeedd
So what you have to basically do to participate in this,i am new to twitch and do i have to follow them and participate playing the game, where can i find a tutorial on what to do over there and i can understand that the site mentioned is a steaming site but never used it,so a tutorial could help.

AFAIK, we need to watch edward's stream, followed his twitch, and being active on chat while his online. Then he will randomly pick lucky users. Sometimes, he does other type of giveaways too. Like posting something in forum etc.
2746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is winning at Sports betting actually possible ? on: May 27, 2017, 08:14:08 PM
Sometimes, I forced to make one or more bets even though I didn't 100% sure with my analysis. I can not fully control the desire to always bet whenever some events occur. If I can stick to make bet only when I have a better analysis, maybe I can get profit from my sports betting actions. So I think, it is possible to win at sports betting.
2747  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 FAST play/invest, win 0.4 BTC in the competition! on: May 27, 2017, 09:22:07 AM
A new competition is live
3 players with most profit will win extra prizes

It's really enough that you find yourself in 3 top players that generate highest profit this week and one of the prizes is yours.

Find out more at https://yolodice.com/#bonus

no offense but i think this kind of competition will only favor those who have big amounts of coins in their pocket and its not fair to others, maybe a simple number hunt with xxx minimum wager is a good option and all will be eligible to win the contest. anyway good luck to all Smiley

For sure people with higher balance has a good chance to win this competition. But don't forget! They can lose their bets too. Higher risk higher chance to win this competition. It's pretty fair to me!
2748  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | Most Popular, Oldest & Trusted | Huge Community | Free BTC | 🎂 on: May 27, 2017, 05:37:19 AM
Is there any problem with the withdrawal thing? Because last night I just make withdrawal amd until today £ can,t get any of my bitcoin here. I never face such a long withdrawal on primedice before. Is there any problem with it? And btw about the giveaway how long will it take to send it to all of us?

A lot people faced long confirmation time nowadays and it happened almost at everywhere. And as I saw primedice picks only 30k satoshi as withdrawal fee hence your transaction will take a while to get a confirmation. Btw, what giveaway did you refer? the cashback one? if so, the promotion will be closed at May, 30th. I think they will send the prize after that date.
2749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fees!!! on: May 27, 2017, 04:23:05 AM
If you cash out by bitcoins at a casino and the casino doesn't add enough fees for fast confirmation. If the price of bitcoin drops a lot. Should the casino be held responsible for the price differences in which you cashed out at and the current loss in btc prices?

They do not have to be responsible because when casino doesn't add enough fees there's a chance for bitcoin price to move up a lot too. One thing they have to do is to change the policy related to fees so that our transaction will get confirmation in a proper time.
2750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: May 26, 2017, 08:27:44 PM
We have to always discipline with the plans that we already built before entering into a gambling place. For example, we have a plan to stop everytime we get 50% proft or when a half of our initial balance already gone, then we have to stick to those plans. Do not let anything to disturb it.

2753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: May 25, 2017, 07:37:33 PM
I do think so. But only some of experienced gamblers can achieve the profit in gambling. Therefore, never expect that you can earn a good amount of money from gambling
Even not an skilled or experienced gamblers can do what other skilled player do not because you have skill it means you will not be lose remember gambling is all based by luck not how experience you already reach always expect the unexpected thing in your life.

Experience is one of the supporting factor in gambling. Of course, with only  experience, it won't be enough to succeed in gambling. There is still one very decisive factor namely, luck! Experience is needed especially when we deal with our finance, how we manage our money.
2754  Economy / Gambling / Re: Are provably fair gambling sites really provable? on: May 25, 2017, 05:36:09 PM
If they show the hashed seed before you bet, and the process using the server seed (provided afterward) and your client seed results in the output along with their server seed hashing into the hashed seed then it's perfectly verifiable.

Suppose my server seed is X and the result of it and your client seed would be tails (in a head/tails game).

I then hash the seed with SHA-256 and show it to you publicly. After you bet I reveal the server seed and boom: you can verify everything since I can't lie about the hash.

Please correct me if I have made an error in any way.

You are correct, but my point is that: is the "hashed seed" they show you, really the seed used to run the game?

for example they can just generate a random hash seed (asdbfj891y23basd) and display it on their website but then actually, their game will use a different hash seed (138sdf71982789zcxz). then when you lose, they will of course show you the server seed which solves your seed. but in reality it is totally different.
The way I see it, the seed and hash they provide might be legit, but what I feel is a source for worry is that of some dice sites having to ask players to first click some tabs to be able to see the hash. That may well be a knock on the door to alert the occupant to tidy things up before letting the one at the door in and all the while he stays, every thing would be made to look straight. I think having the hash to stream along as the game is played, should be a more convincing way a site should show they are truly provably fair since their code is not open source.

This is the reason why people need to learn how provably fair works because many have no idea how it works exactly and always assume a casino can cheat but they don't understand that the rolls are already determined before the bet is taken place.

I don't think any casino would do what he suggested, showing one seed and using another because eventually someone would of caught on and complained, they don't know whether who or not actually verifies the seeds.

I am one of those who didnt know exactly how provably fair system works. This stuff is beyond my knowledge. But, I am very sure that there are a bunch of people out there who knows exactly how this stuff works. And if something went wrong with provably fair, I do believe most of them will inform it to us.
2755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: From gambling site faucet to cash out? on: May 25, 2017, 04:35:06 PM
Has anyone successfully done this?

I came close to cashing out with primedice faucet money (150 sat) to cash out (400k sat) today but lost everything due to 1 impulsive bet (340k sat at 1.2x chance).

You already very lucky when you able to turn 150 satoshi to 400k satoshi. If I were you, instead of playing at 1.2x I prefer to play at higher payouts like 4950x or 9900x with 1k basebet. If you're lucky then you can cash out good amount of money and if you failed, you lost nothing since it's just from faucet.

2757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When to leave the game? on: May 25, 2017, 05:42:47 AM
I know gamblers will really know about this. You must leave the game when you feel that you lose a lot of your profit. You must manage your bet for you to manage what you have when you are still playing. You need to leave when you actually going to lose your profit.

This considered as the hardest part to do. When we are in a losing state, our common sense is likely to change. The desire to immediately return the money that has been lost will be stronger than our common sense. Although people who have been in the gambling world for a long time, still experience it.
2758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: May 25, 2017, 03:53:00 AM
for me, the main problem is the addiction, which makes people more greedy. but people can't insist themselves keeping away from gambling. Sometimes they win but most of the time they don't find the face of profit. it is all about addiction.
at first, you have to make yourself confident then you can make any decision about gambling, but should be controlled.
It is mainstream that people will become greedy when they play gambling either a newbie who plays more than an hour in gambling will became addicted once they lost already they will more triggered their self to place more bets once we started to play gambling we can't really insist to avoid playing in a week it is true that people will always loosing money it is like your just playing your money to get another round to bets again.
Most newbies experience that and even if we are doing it most of the time there are still time they we lose control in gambling.
We love to play longer because it's fun and we don't notice we are slowly getting addicted, until we cannot stop anymore
and will only happen to stop if we lose everything.

Most people tend to leave gambling when they already faced a very bad experiences like lost too much and there's no more way to recover it because most of thier valuable things already gone.
2759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: May 24, 2017, 06:33:26 PM
The smartest way to gamble is do only betting. I recently tried a new way putting bets on 1.01 odds. Of course don't put 1$ as your profit will 0.01$. I deposited 500$ and placed my bet on a 1.01 odd now of course it happens once in a year when a team loses with an odd of 1.01 but if you keep doing it you can earn 10$ per day easily

We can't always find an odd of 1.01 everytime we wanted to betting. And even though as you said, a team with an odd @1.01 will lose once a year, but what if you lose it at earlier attempts? you will need a huge amount of money to cover it.
2760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know if a gambling site is scam or not? on: May 24, 2017, 05:48:35 PM
You will know the gambling site if scam once you deposit and you cant withdraw your money anymore. Also, the site attracts users and promising good. Because in gambling its always luck and just play on what you can afford to lose.
This is mainstream then much better if we review the feedback of the website before we deposit our money right? And if you even don't care just to see their ads that they promise you a good comeback of money then they already fooled you with there niche. Yes gambling is all about luck and always play money you can afford to lose but doesn't mean all website are scam already all website can be scam by the end of the day depends on the developer or the ceo of the webiste.

Yep...I agree with you! It's better to read most of the review about such site before we decided to deposit at gambling site. We should not be blinded by lucrative promises without checking the truth first. And the best thing is, this forum will be enough to get the information we need.
