2741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Commey - December 11 on: November 20, 2021, 01:19:02 PM
This is why I think it is going to be difficult to see that fight, I really do not think that Lopez is tying to avoid Lomachenko, we know that fighters say a lot of things to try to hype up the fight but as soon as it is over they give each other a hug and then they give praise to their opponent on the post-fight interviews.

However it seems to me the problems of Lopez and Lomachenko are real and this means Lopez will do everything he can to not give Lomachenko a chance at challenging him for his titles.

Lopez's only chance of avoiding a rematch is to move to a different weight class. If he does not do this, then sooner or later he will be forced to enter this fight or give up the belt. In addition, such avoidance of a strong opponent is always bad for a boxer's reputation, and should not be abused.

He needs to take care of Kambasos first, he should not underestimate his opponent now because Kambasos has not experienced a loss in his career yet. Most likely if Lopez will win, he will move up in weight as he does not want to give Loma a chance for a rematch, he already stated that in the past.
2742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to avoid all scams? on: November 19, 2021, 11:33:39 PM
Do you think it is possible to completely get rid of scams?
That word completely get rid seems impossible knowing the situation that not all are aware of this or even they are but they still fall into scam tricks because of greediness.

Quote

What do you think, is it possible to somehow get rid of scams among crypto projects?

it is personal, we can't touch others' life and help them to avoid investing in scams because, in the first place, they know what they are doing but never helped themselves. We can't rid these things out of crypto and in fact, it sometimes happens that even promising projects will turn into scam (exit scam trick). They will still exist no matter what we do and that is why we should be careful and do searches first before investing.
2743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 19, 2021, 02:07:24 PM

Put him on a different team and he might dominate again. What I think is wrong is that, the system of Coach Tim Cone isn't working for CStand for some reasons that is why he isn't as dominate as he was a few years ago.
C. Stand is not also impressive during his stay with the North Port, so I can really say that he is not what we are expecting him to be. He played with SMB, I guess that's where his numbers were up but later he was traded for Tautua, so I don't understand why a good player is traded from time to time.
Hmmmm didn't he played very well when he is in NorthPort??

I mean when he joined NP, the team is just one of the few teams that are in the 8th seed that defeated a top seeded team and he has a huge contribute to that. If I remember correctly, he averaged double double that conference as well. Trading him from SMB to NP would be better for him because he can't use his skills that much in SMB since he is just a 2nd unit and they are focusing on Fajardo. They know as well that CStand has a huge potential that is why they traded him. Well, at least that is what I know.
I am not sure if he played well with NP, maybe I missed some of his games because North Port is not exciting to watch. I like the NP when Romeo and Pingle were the star players of the team, but when they left, I already lost interest in the team. Also, if C. Stand was doing good in NP then NP should have kept him, so I think they were not satisfied with his impact on the team.
2744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slot forecast on: November 19, 2021, 01:39:39 PM
Slot is one of the most preferred gaming game in most casino houses and online gambling platforms but one of it major defector is the fact that players can not give an accurate forecast of the outcome of the game and how the probably fair system works in favor of the house. Apart from dice that it outcome can easily be predicted slot on the other hand is unpredictable.
It's because just as dice, it's a game of luck. Coming from the word itself, forecast, you're just giving possible results but they're not accurate at all.
As result, as you've said it is unpredictable so the house is always having a high chance of winning. There are gamblers that are lucky with this game but in most of the time, it's all about the house.
Slot is a basically luck game but in most casino house the house edge is always high and that result in player's always losing to the house because the slot machine are set to favor the house. I will prefer to play dice instead as it outcome is more predictable.

This online slot are hard to cheat, so no one can use his skills here to win.

I saw some video on the real slot that there are people who are consistently winning, but they don't win in an honest way, they won through cheating.
You might want to check the video. == https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ts70LHeJXU4&t=2002s== Just check the other episodes if there is, I watch it already last year, I feel I like to share it here.
2745  Economy / Speculation / Re: will we witness year end bullrun or bull trap? on: November 19, 2021, 12:13:05 AM
If we were following main markets they are predicting upto 10% off in the end this year.    We already had great gains, it doesnt continue forever without people profit taking; why because half the money is gambled with leveraged or borrowed cash.   Holidays especially prompt people to step away and close out the trades, we can rise over xmas but imo it requires the sell before that occurs first.
Well I don't think holders the same thinking of profit-taking though you are right that there is no continued rise forever of the crypto price I am confident that there is no time yet for dropping the bitcoin price. We have had a lot of great news recently that makes bitcoin price becomes healthy and rapid growth and perhaps it will continue even until next year. I will consider that this was a bull run, not a hype, and not a bull trap. Though the price is unpredictable you can feel that there is no sign of having a bad market.
We can have that kind of optimism and belief because we trusted the market so well. And we have also witnessed the spike of market demand and adoption that could certainly uplift prices and keep on high. The next stop for Bitcoin will be $80k, I speculated this to happen this year.
But can't hold the market to show crashes just like now, we turn back red once again. However, I can be hopeful that this will end up shortly and rise back stronger to make bullish again until next month.

2747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 18, 2021, 01:12:35 PM
Cavs seems to have a fighting chance against the Nets or is it just the Nets are having another bad day?
That third quarter was when the Cavs almost got near the lead and I saw Harden being really bad at his position as point.
You can see obvious dimes that was always intercepted by the guy defending him. I think Coach Nash should change some of his strategies.
Harden should not always handle the ball whenever he is on the floor. Mix it up to lessen the turnovers. Make him shoot more.

If they only have Irving playing, Harden does not need to carry the ball.

Harden was effective in handling the ball but since he cannot anymore fish a lot of fouls, his production has already been affected.
What's important in that game is that the Nets won, they have some struggle within the game but they still finish it strong, and by the way, don't forget that the Cavaliers is also a decent team this season.

If they only have Irving, but the Nets have managed to win games without him already.

Harden is still effective though, he can still go shoot for 3's. And if he really wanted to go to the free throws, all he has to do is penetrate.

I do agree though, Cavaliers is very different team this season, and even without Kevin Love, they've always fought very hard and win close games.

They are much better with Irving, he is very consistent and since they already build chemistry, it will be easier for them to win.

There are no rumors yet as to when Irving will return but I hope he keeps practicing with his teams so if unvaccinated players are already allowed, he can play right away because he is already fit. sometimes I think it's good that Irving will rest as the Nets will need him very much to be healthy in the playoffs.
2748  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's Recent Drop Below $60K Is Not Worrisome, Analyst Says on: November 17, 2021, 10:26:59 PM
In fact, it was just a small correction, we've been in almost 50% market price deduction before. Those who trust that Bitcoin will be long-term, this can't be worrisome but those doubtful individuals will possibly think negatively and start to put a sell option.
Dumps, market correction...everything will happen in crypto. Volatility hasn't to deal hard because whether we like it or not, it surely comes and we have to adopt such changes or else, this becomes a reason on your losses.
2749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 17, 2021, 10:56:01 AM
Didn't expect a blowout win for GSW, Curry showed his superiority against the best team in the East, he made 9/14 from beyond the arc and that's very impressive, there's should be no debate on who is the greatest shooter now, Curry is just on a different level this season.

Better luck next time Nets, bounce back if you ever meet again this season.
Not even a fighting chance. I thought it was going to be a close game because Durant can answer Curry's madness in the 3 point line if ever he will.
But my expectation was not met and KD had a bad game 6/19 FG and 2/6 outside shots. That's a bad off night game for him.
Although, it's not just the difference between the 2 team. It's also the plays made by the Warriors that is difficult to stop.
A well written play from the old playbook of Steve Kerr but Steve Nash seems to have a hard time stopping it. Congratulations to the Warriors team.
He has a horrendous shooting night, but we should give credit to the defense of Golden State. They really scout him and the play that Nash has for him, so they are ready to trap him as far as the three point area. So it's either he gave up the ball, or has an unforced error, or shot the ball badly.

So for now, we could say that Steve Kerr has Nash's number, and the GSW really perform very well in this game as it wanting to proved that their lost was just a fluke against the Hornets.

Not only coach Nash, Kerr also knows Durant very well as he coach him before so he was able to do the right strategy to limit him. This is their first encounter but most likely Nets will not struggle next time as they already saw the play design against them and they'll certainly make an adjustment to beat the Warriors.
2750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A positive evaluation of gambling. on: November 15, 2021, 09:46:04 PM
Absolutely, despite the negative words that we've been heard from the people around we are also getting back the benefits that they never have. And it is all about building ourselves to become a better person internally and having a positive mindset.
I'd found myself now being a patient and risk-taking personality which I had never seen before. Too many changes have been made and I could be proud of it.
2751  Economy / Speculation / Re: Tesla accepting Bitcoin payments and ..... Doge ? on: November 15, 2021, 08:59:51 PM
How I wish that it needs someone to confirm that he use Dogecoin to buy a Tesla car but too unfortunate that there is none. Even the use of Bitcoin and ETH can't find anyone.
Well, if that is really true, then that was good. I know and I believe that someday the use of crypto to buy stuff is fully accepted and one's must have to take an action first as the others will follow next. I hope this was a real market deal and Tesla will continue to accept crypto not just Dogecoin as first stated by the owner.
2752  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: cryptocurrency trading is safe than forex trading on: November 15, 2021, 05:49:40 PM
That's right, crypto trading is safer than forex trading.
No, it won't and that is because of the volatile nature of the market. Perhaps, I don't compare the two when taking risks as they are both risky and could make you lose if you are not careful and not good in your decision.

Quote
This means that there is still a solution if we are wrong in analyzing as long as there is enough patience in waiting for the market to recover. Forex for me if the market goes against the analysis when opening a trade then the end result is a loss. There is no solution to hold back.
We can apply TA, chart analysis and etc...as they are all just the same. In fact, we can make use of the same strategy.
We can hear different opinions and suggestions which is safer and I understand that they use their experience as the basis of this. But if you are in real life, forex is the safer one. It was just because we are familiar with the market trend and take this an advantage that is why we choose crypto trading over forex.
2753  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: They will try to stop Bitcoin on: November 15, 2021, 02:58:12 PM
I think that when renewable energy will be widely used even to mine Bitcoin. People will be more calm and optimistic about Bitcoin. While it is being mined consuming so much dirty energy that pollutes our environment, there are a lot of people and organisation that are against crypto, but I think that  it will become greener soon and people will change thier tune.
I can't blame the government as they are also fair in using energy and not sacrificing the needs of others while giving prioritizing the mining industry. It was now the battling issue where to find another source of energy that could sustain the needs of this mining industry. Strict implementation of the rules makes to stop illegal mining activities and that it saves some energy as well. I think they are doing right and it wasn't mean they are trying to stop but instead, they'll find a way to become sustaining.
2754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where is BNB going!!! on: November 15, 2021, 02:13:46 PM
I think Binance is revolutionary in looking at the current and future crypto market and I wouldn't be surprised if the price of BNB continued to creep up, BNB has been very successful in their mission of building an exchange market and an ecosystem within it, especially after launching BSC I am very optimistic to see great progress as many projects adopt their chain. Regarding the issue of BNB prices, I will not doubt and am optimistic that their prices will continue to increase as the number of cryptocurrency users and Project grows.

This project has a brighter future than the others. The promising look that it has given a reason why many investors are making their way and risk their money on BNB. This project has been once ignored like Bitcoin before, I have to admit that I'm one of those individuals who never believe this project. But it was very fortunate and we can't imagine the sudden growth of its price makes us be surprised of.
Now, this project become more valuable and we can expect more from BNB in the future just like what we think about BTC and ETH.
2755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: November 15, 2021, 01:09:44 PM
In the fight of Logan vs Mayweather, there is still no official result so it's the same thing that will happen here....
I don't think so, there are already betting odds that are out this early so I expect that there's a winner in this game. If an exhibition fight does not declare any winner, it would be boring and fans will not likely support it, and if that's the case, then maybe we need to see someone get KO'd just to know who is the winner.
Yes it would be practically uninteresting to watch if there's if no one is going to be declared winner of the said exhibition fight. In terms of seeing a knockout, it's indeed good to see one in this match but don't think it possibly happen. This match will just be pure entertainment only and no one will likely injured badly, besides I believe that this is just a commemoration of the legendary Mike Tyson.
I bet Logan Paul will lose this match and sadly this will be an addition to his career.
Same here, I think Logan Paul will lose this fight, he has not faced a fighter like Mike Tyson before who is aggressive and knows how to handle himself under pressure. Logan Paul has not proven anything yet, so why would anything think that he would win this fight? Maybe because of his youth? but I guess that's not enough to beat a legend.
2756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter - Nov. 20 on: November 15, 2021, 12:19:18 PM
I'm really excited for this clash too! Both are talented, skillful and tough that's why this is also a must awaited fight after Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant match. And yes, we know that this match will be a close one and it's very unpredictable in all aspect to know who's going to win and who's going to lose, but it's going to end via knockout or split-decision. It's just it saddens me that most of the viewers and analyst are looking down on Porter because he's tagged as an underdog compared to Crawford who is a champ and has a clean record.
But we'll see who's going down this weekend  Grin
Even I pick Crawford, but I'm not underestimating Porter isn't good boxer since he's an underdog here. As you mentioned Porter is tough and experienced, there's chance will be upset but probably I'm not confident since he fight with Crawford.

Crawford is insane his last 5 fights win by TKO, but I guess this fight he will win in unanimous decision... it's hard to knock down Porter.
Agree, Porter hasn't been solidly knock down or knock out in his career, it's all like he was knock down due to fatigue in the fight. So I doubt that Crawford can put a dent on Porter's chin here unless he really hit him so hard that he didn't expect it.

So this might be ended up in a UD for Crawford, but a very tough and rugged fight for him. It will not be an easy fight. Porter might win a couple of rounds as well.

Porter is not an easy fighter, more on aggressive type of style. If Crawford mismanages him, the chance of knocking him down is also possible.

But, I can say if we will see the same Crawford in this fight, ending this with UD is much expected,
he knows how to control when he thinks that he can lose the fight, he will adjust and play the safe style.

He can do some jabs and then move away from Porter to avoid hitting him with a wild shot,
the kind of punches that can take him down.

Crawford is quick, while Porter is maybe strong but he is very predictable, therefore it's easy for Crawford to avoid the power punches of Porter and he will just counter him  to score. If this fight ended up in the judges scorecards, then most likely Crawford will go home as the winner.
2757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 15, 2021, 11:50:53 AM
I watched the second half of the Jazz - Heat game last night. And it was very delightful to watch I must admit. In the third quarter, Heat got a great series and the quarter score was 21-37. They were 95-69 ahead before the start of the last quarter. After seeing this huge gap, I took it for granted that Heat would obtain a comfortable victory here. But Jazz made an awesome comeback and decreased the gap to even 4 points when there was a little time left to the end (105-109). Heat made two free-throws and it came to 105-111. And Jazz missed a very critical three-pointer which caused them to lose the game by this score. But I was delighted with the efforts of both teams.

One thing I've learned this season's games is that there are not comfortable lead, any team sitting on a 20 point lead going into the fourth quarter is not totally safe. We have seen huge comebacks as early as less than 20 games already.

Good observation there. I have seen many come backs before but as time passes by, a 20 point lead is nothing when the other team is hitting desperation threes or the leading team's defense becomes lazy.
One of the good reasons why a huge lead cannot be sustained is that most players in the NBA today has become more efficient in hitting 3's, young generation are explosive and can do damage from deep or inside the paint.

And that's always possible if a team is a good 3 point shooter, Jazz is one of the best 3 point shooting team in the NBA, they only lose because of their lack of defense but their offense is great. Their starters are great 3 point shooters,

1 Mike Conley
2Donovan Mitchell
3 Bojan Bogdanovic
4 Royce O'Neale

All these 4 players are good 3 point shooters, plus they also have Clarkson in the 2nd unit who can explode anytime.
2758  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Are More Whales Moving Their BTC? on: November 14, 2021, 11:58:07 PM
Whales are transferring their funds into the exchange to buy more before the next ATH hits again, that's what I think.
This is a little alarming but nothing to worry about but this gives an insight that there is a possible surprising thing to happen in the market a few days from now. We have to still calm down and have to prepare for what happens in the coming days. For now, it was a need to monitor the progress of this movement since we don't know where it comes from and what is the real purpose of that.
2759  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Take stock or hodl ? on: November 14, 2021, 11:10:38 PM
Hodl is just ideal to the people who bought with the dip already and they are just waiting for the right time to pull out their investment that kind of people does not watch to match the market if you have some time and are currently active on the market you can make an investment every time the market dips and pulled it out when you think it's profitable. Base on my experience i go for the option one because i have time to make a reinvestment not only with the coins given.
Well buying when the dip is a long time that must be given this is an opportunity with the long term but we must not be swayed by bad market trends later, in essence we are buying for an ideal investment for a long time not for a short time.
But for me, who always monitors market developments every day, it is a trade that I do when it goes down buy a little up I will sell it, this is a skill that I do with a short time but we continue to make small profits every day.
I do hold sometimes but not in the plan to hold long-term because that seems not profitable anymore as we lose some profit opportunity. This is only applicable for those who have another job and work to do but if you are focused on trading, that certainly wasn't the best option to do.
Buy low and sell high, this can be normal practice to most of us and this is a profitable strategy.
If we closely track the market trend and apply TA, it can be easier for us to make a decision. And it was fast to grow your investment if you are not about to miss every single opportunity to sell at a high price.
2760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we buy tokens for young projects? on: November 14, 2021, 10:34:47 PM
I think this is a difficult question, isn't it too big a risk to invest in projects that are just being developed? On the other hand, if the project has a good roadmap and a promising team, then you can invest and get good profit in the future. By the way, it seems to me that the CheckDot project, which is associated with the verification of other crypto projects, may be quite promising in terms of investments.

What do you think about this issue? Do you invest in young and just starting projects?

if you are going to make sure that you invest the right coins/projects, this is not the best idea to follow. No, you have to wait until it was finally formed and launched on the market coz their performance is the basis to see if that project has the potential or it is another worthless project. We don't need to get hypes and rush because this will just lead to nowhere and lose your money. We need assurance and that is why we have to choose those reliable projects as well.
CheckDot? That you need to have further research before making a final decision. But my suggestion is you have to wait until it was done.
