2741  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: cryptocurrency trading is safe than forex trading on: November 15, 2021, 05:49:40 PM
That's right, crypto trading is safer than forex trading.
No, it won't and that is because of the volatile nature of the market. Perhaps, I don't compare the two when taking risks as they are both risky and could make you lose if you are not careful and not good in your decision.

Quote
This means that there is still a solution if we are wrong in analyzing as long as there is enough patience in waiting for the market to recover. Forex for me if the market goes against the analysis when opening a trade then the end result is a loss. There is no solution to hold back.
We can apply TA, chart analysis and etc...as they are all just the same. In fact, we can make use of the same strategy.
We can hear different opinions and suggestions which is safer and I understand that they use their experience as the basis of this. But if you are in real life, forex is the safer one. It was just because we are familiar with the market trend and take this an advantage that is why we choose crypto trading over forex.
2742  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: They will try to stop Bitcoin on: November 15, 2021, 02:58:12 PM
I think that when renewable energy will be widely used even to mine Bitcoin. People will be more calm and optimistic about Bitcoin. While it is being mined consuming so much dirty energy that pollutes our environment, there are a lot of people and organisation that are against crypto, but I think that  it will become greener soon and people will change thier tune.
I can't blame the government as they are also fair in using energy and not sacrificing the needs of others while giving prioritizing the mining industry. It was now the battling issue where to find another source of energy that could sustain the needs of this mining industry. Strict implementation of the rules makes to stop illegal mining activities and that it saves some energy as well. I think they are doing right and it wasn't mean they are trying to stop but instead, they'll find a way to become sustaining.
2743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where is BNB going!!! on: November 15, 2021, 02:13:46 PM
I think Binance is revolutionary in looking at the current and future crypto market and I wouldn't be surprised if the price of BNB continued to creep up, BNB has been very successful in their mission of building an exchange market and an ecosystem within it, especially after launching BSC I am very optimistic to see great progress as many projects adopt their chain. Regarding the issue of BNB prices, I will not doubt and am optimistic that their prices will continue to increase as the number of cryptocurrency users and Project grows.

This project has a brighter future than the others. The promising look that it has given a reason why many investors are making their way and risk their money on BNB. This project has been once ignored like Bitcoin before, I have to admit that I'm one of those individuals who never believe this project. But it was very fortunate and we can't imagine the sudden growth of its price makes us be surprised of.
Now, this project become more valuable and we can expect more from BNB in the future just like what we think about BTC and ETH.
2744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: November 15, 2021, 01:09:44 PM
In the fight of Logan vs Mayweather, there is still no official result so it's the same thing that will happen here....
I don't think so, there are already betting odds that are out this early so I expect that there's a winner in this game. If an exhibition fight does not declare any winner, it would be boring and fans will not likely support it, and if that's the case, then maybe we need to see someone get KO'd just to know who is the winner.
Yes it would be practically uninteresting to watch if there's if no one is going to be declared winner of the said exhibition fight. In terms of seeing a knockout, it's indeed good to see one in this match but don't think it possibly happen. This match will just be pure entertainment only and no one will likely injured badly, besides I believe that this is just a commemoration of the legendary Mike Tyson.
I bet Logan Paul will lose this match and sadly this will be an addition to his career.
Same here, I think Logan Paul will lose this fight, he has not faced a fighter like Mike Tyson before who is aggressive and knows how to handle himself under pressure. Logan Paul has not proven anything yet, so why would anything think that he would win this fight? Maybe because of his youth? but I guess that's not enough to beat a legend.
2745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter - Nov. 20 on: November 15, 2021, 12:19:18 PM
I'm really excited for this clash too! Both are talented, skillful and tough that's why this is also a must awaited fight after Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant match. And yes, we know that this match will be a close one and it's very unpredictable in all aspect to know who's going to win and who's going to lose, but it's going to end via knockout or split-decision. It's just it saddens me that most of the viewers and analyst are looking down on Porter because he's tagged as an underdog compared to Crawford who is a champ and has a clean record.
But we'll see who's going down this weekend  Grin
Even I pick Crawford, but I'm not underestimating Porter isn't good boxer since he's an underdog here. As you mentioned Porter is tough and experienced, there's chance will be upset but probably I'm not confident since he fight with Crawford.

Crawford is insane his last 5 fights win by TKO, but I guess this fight he will win in unanimous decision... it's hard to knock down Porter.
Agree, Porter hasn't been solidly knock down or knock out in his career, it's all like he was knock down due to fatigue in the fight. So I doubt that Crawford can put a dent on Porter's chin here unless he really hit him so hard that he didn't expect it.

So this might be ended up in a UD for Crawford, but a very tough and rugged fight for him. It will not be an easy fight. Porter might win a couple of rounds as well.

Porter is not an easy fighter, more on aggressive type of style. If Crawford mismanages him, the chance of knocking him down is also possible.

But, I can say if we will see the same Crawford in this fight, ending this with UD is much expected,
he knows how to control when he thinks that he can lose the fight, he will adjust and play the safe style.

He can do some jabs and then move away from Porter to avoid hitting him with a wild shot,
the kind of punches that can take him down.

Crawford is quick, while Porter is maybe strong but he is very predictable, therefore it's easy for Crawford to avoid the power punches of Porter and he will just counter him  to score. If this fight ended up in the judges scorecards, then most likely Crawford will go home as the winner.
2746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 15, 2021, 11:50:53 AM
I watched the second half of the Jazz - Heat game last night. And it was very delightful to watch I must admit. In the third quarter, Heat got a great series and the quarter score was 21-37. They were 95-69 ahead before the start of the last quarter. After seeing this huge gap, I took it for granted that Heat would obtain a comfortable victory here. But Jazz made an awesome comeback and decreased the gap to even 4 points when there was a little time left to the end (105-109). Heat made two free-throws and it came to 105-111. And Jazz missed a very critical three-pointer which caused them to lose the game by this score. But I was delighted with the efforts of both teams.

One thing I've learned this season's games is that there are not comfortable lead, any team sitting on a 20 point lead going into the fourth quarter is not totally safe. We have seen huge comebacks as early as less than 20 games already.

Good observation there. I have seen many come backs before but as time passes by, a 20 point lead is nothing when the other team is hitting desperation threes or the leading team's defense becomes lazy.
One of the good reasons why a huge lead cannot be sustained is that most players in the NBA today has become more efficient in hitting 3's, young generation are explosive and can do damage from deep or inside the paint.

And that's always possible if a team is a good 3 point shooter, Jazz is one of the best 3 point shooting team in the NBA, they only lose because of their lack of defense but their offense is great. Their starters are great 3 point shooters,

1 Mike Conley
2Donovan Mitchell
3 Bojan Bogdanovic
4 Royce O'Neale

All these 4 players are good 3 point shooters, plus they also have Clarkson in the 2nd unit who can explode anytime.
2747  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Are More Whales Moving Their BTC? on: November 14, 2021, 11:58:07 PM
Whales are transferring their funds into the exchange to buy more before the next ATH hits again, that's what I think.
This is a little alarming but nothing to worry about but this gives an insight that there is a possible surprising thing to happen in the market a few days from now. We have to still calm down and have to prepare for what happens in the coming days. For now, it was a need to monitor the progress of this movement since we don't know where it comes from and what is the real purpose of that.
2748  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Take stock or hodl ? on: November 14, 2021, 11:10:38 PM
Hodl is just ideal to the people who bought with the dip already and they are just waiting for the right time to pull out their investment that kind of people does not watch to match the market if you have some time and are currently active on the market you can make an investment every time the market dips and pulled it out when you think it's profitable. Base on my experience i go for the option one because i have time to make a reinvestment not only with the coins given.
Well buying when the dip is a long time that must be given this is an opportunity with the long term but we must not be swayed by bad market trends later, in essence we are buying for an ideal investment for a long time not for a short time.
But for me, who always monitors market developments every day, it is a trade that I do when it goes down buy a little up I will sell it, this is a skill that I do with a short time but we continue to make small profits every day.
I do hold sometimes but not in the plan to hold long-term because that seems not profitable anymore as we lose some profit opportunity. This is only applicable for those who have another job and work to do but if you are focused on trading, that certainly wasn't the best option to do.
Buy low and sell high, this can be normal practice to most of us and this is a profitable strategy.
If we closely track the market trend and apply TA, it can be easier for us to make a decision. And it was fast to grow your investment if you are not about to miss every single opportunity to sell at a high price.
2749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we buy tokens for young projects? on: November 14, 2021, 10:34:47 PM
I think this is a difficult question, isn't it too big a risk to invest in projects that are just being developed? On the other hand, if the project has a good roadmap and a promising team, then you can invest and get good profit in the future. By the way, it seems to me that the CheckDot project, which is associated with the verification of other crypto projects, may be quite promising in terms of investments.

What do you think about this issue? Do you invest in young and just starting projects?

if you are going to make sure that you invest the right coins/projects, this is not the best idea to follow. No, you have to wait until it was finally formed and launched on the market coz their performance is the basis to see if that project has the potential or it is another worthless project. We don't need to get hypes and rush because this will just lead to nowhere and lose your money. We need assurance and that is why we have to choose those reliable projects as well.
CheckDot? That you need to have further research before making a final decision. But my suggestion is you have to wait until it was done.
2750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you invest in new projects? on: November 14, 2021, 10:09:32 PM
With the volume of new projects available in the market I'm been too careful with how I go about investing in them and lately I rely solely on hype or trusted recommendations and with the hype I still do a little more research before ever taking in any risk.
You should and it is a must otherwise, you might lose your money on the spot.
That we don't need to rush, everything must be done in research coz this is the only way to avoid losses or that to stupidly invest in scam project. Even it was recommended by someone, I still don't make it but have to undergo any background check for market verification and to make sure that we are investing in the right and potential coin.
2751  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain Bitcoin to Newbies on: November 14, 2021, 03:08:42 PM
I wouldn't know how to put it in a simple term for a beginner to get it without much confusion, because in my case, I discovered btc and crypto in general on my own with constant research and reading online,
For a newbie to quickly grasp and understand btc, there must be a willingness to research personally, it will make whatever explanation given by someone else to sink in quickly,
Am not a good teacher hence the emphasis on self research which is the best approach to understanding btc and crypto easily.
It doesn't matter if you are a good teacher or not, even without a teaching background could be able to explain it but the problem is how to make it simple and so it was very easy for the listeners to get the idea and could also be easy to understand. In fact, even most of us here don't actually understand clearly and many were still in doubt.
However, learning won't just take a single day, a single session nor do we just rely on one source. But with the help of the internet makes these newbies gain additional idea and information as well.
2752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: November 14, 2021, 01:35:25 PM
I have recently seen a TikTok video of Mike Tyson sparring "practice fighting" and he looks great... just have a look at this Youtube video of him preparing for the fight ==> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qy7s-ct-qqA

I think Logan Paul is creaming his pants, because I predict a Knockout in the first round for him. After all, Mike Tyson will not want to go all the rounds to the end at his age.  Cheesy

I just hope that Mike Tyson would still show the same strength as he was younger in this match. Just like Manny, being an older boxer has a little disadvantage because the younger player could move faster unless Tyson would show off his legendary moves.

You can't compare this fight to the fight of Manny against Ugas, that was a professional fight and Ugas is a champion as well. This match is a pure exhibition match and if we look at the experience of the fighters, clearly Mike Tyson has the advantage and that fact that he is still fit now, I have a feeling that his chance of winning is higher against Logan.

Agree with that, Logan Paul although young but we cannot say that he is stronger than Mike Tyson.

His record (https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/896698) clearly shows that he is a nobody in boxing, he is only popular because he brought his youtube followers in boxing, but that would not change that fact that Mike Tyson is better than him.
2753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: November 14, 2021, 01:04:55 PM

The arrangement might be giving way to each other, if they both win from these mandatory fights,

Calling for Inoue or other fighters from the same division will be their next target, though both of them need to win first before
thinking about the next blow.

Gaballo may give some hard time to Donaire. He is also aiming for this big break for his career. If he wins, then the belt will remain
to another pinoy champ, something that the pride will continue to celebrate.

I think either Casimero or Donaire will going to fight Inoue will definitely give a boxing fans a very exciting fight but since Casimero and Donaire seems to be under the same promotion maybe the much awaiting rematch between two Filipino fighters is somewhat impossible. However, if boxing organization like WBO would going to order for a rematch it would be possible. In my prediction, both Donaire and Casimero will going to win in their respective matches but its undeniable that Gaballo is not also a fighter that will easily give up.

Casimero first then that would be enough for me, don't get me wrong, I just don't want to waste time because I've seen Donaire vs Inoue fight and the result is likely the same if they'll do a rematch. If Casimero would fight, at least it's more unpredictable and Casimero might pull at upset.
2754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Today I helped 2 non-crypto people invest in bitcoin on: November 13, 2021, 11:11:00 PM
I hope you will also teach them how to sell at the right time.

Look, the market is bullish now so profit is guaranteed, but remember that it's not always bullish every day and we can be in times also where the market will struggle and that is the bear season, so let's see how they would react in a bear market situation, will he gets frustrated or will still continue to hold.
I think, that he needs to do next. A good explanation to the right person has no reason to fail but clearly, be understood. As these people were his relatives, that could be easier for him to guide them. They have an interest in crypto investment it means that they are also willing to follow what their teacher say's or else, that it gives them the reason to frustrate themselves and then blame back to the person who's telling them.
This can be a sad story but I see this different view based on OP.

Only I can suggest keeping them not hypes and never invest in a huge amount if they do not totally understand how this works.
2755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: are crypto owners naturally paranoid? on: November 13, 2021, 10:38:31 PM
With the available technology and security features it is possible to keep the crypto holdings in a much safer way. There is nothing to be paranoid, if you've made the holdings secured in a well planned way. Hacks are common, and for the same no need to worry that it'll happen with everyone. Rather than hacks these days phising sites resembling the original platform is the way to take control of user wallets. So, it is good that we use only the trusted link to enter any crypto platform.
Not anymore, even you use a hard wallet, that couldn't give the 100% safeguard of your accounts as hackers might find a leak that leads them to track and get your funds. It is really becoming serious, hacking has been our biggest threat and we can't underestimate these people as they are really smart and have the highest level when it comes to computers. Every single mistake that we have, that certainly their pathway to success and that we need to avoid, perhaps, it was really hard.
2756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 13, 2021, 01:18:31 PM

I didn't expect this trade though I already know that the "Death 5" will be breaking as they are old already. What are your thoughts with this?

Nothing personal here, it's just a business and we have to accept that it happened.

I'm also surprised at first knowing there's another trade from the SMB roster, and Cabagnot being a clutch guy is traded for Enciso, I guess the SMB are looking for youth that's why they traded their older players.

Cabagnot is 38 years old and Arwind Santos is 40, they are already veterans, so we can understand the decision of the management.
Yeah TBH I already expected this as well and I think that they themselves also expected this too since they are old already and we know how SMB works with regards to trading.
They've made controversial trades back in the years. The likes of Danny Siegle, Danny I, Caidic are some of the players that they traded even though they have great contribution to the team.

I will not be surprised too if Ross and Lassiter will be traded to other teams as well. I'm not expecting Fajardo to be traded as he can still play for at least 2-3 years with the team.

That was only one bad conference and they decided to trade some players, I think it's not fair as these veterans contributed big time during the times when the SMB won championships. BGSM is different from SMB because they value their veterans, they even keep Mark Caguioa until now and Jayjay Helterbrand were given a chance to retire in Ginebra.
2757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 13, 2021, 12:35:37 PM
Dennis Schröder finally had a game that he proved he is worthy of a big contract.
yes, but that's just one game, he needs to be consistent so he will be renewed and will have a chance for a bigger contract.
I'm not sure if the Celtics had already max their salary cap, but if they want to increase Schröder, maybe trading Brown would be a good option.

He led the Boston Celtics in an overtime win by contributing    38 points, I guess this is his best game so far this season.
With this contribution, I think the Celtics will find a way to give Schröder more touches on the ball.

yes, together with Tatum and that win really help Schröder as his effort would be useless if they lose.

----

Anyways, Curry is the real MVP and GSW will be the champion this season. I've seen enough, I'm convinced 100%
2758  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is not meant 4everybody on: November 12, 2021, 11:41:57 PM
That is the reality...we all are welcome but somehow, only a few were able to reach their goal while some are quitting at the start when suffering heavy losses and difficulties. Yeah, that honestly wasn't hard to start but at the moment when you are in actual trading, there you can find the reality about trading where you often lose than to make a profit. It is all about how to manage yourself from this situation, but if you have to gain more knowledge and are familiar with the market situation, that is pretty easy for you to deal with and adopt the changes.
2759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming on blockchain is the future on: November 12, 2021, 10:54:11 PM
Gaming industry has been here already even before the rise of these NFT-based or P2E crypto gaming platforms. So with this, I believe, blockchain gaming will survive even during bearish season. Now that a lot of gamers are finding a way how to earn from their passion, this will survive long. It is just in the beginning phase in terms of blockchain gaming.
Yes exactly, one gamer fall in love with the game, they will play it again and again. Moreover, if they can earn money from this.
But aside from gamers, from the tokens itself, for the general investors, it will depend on what game and also its progress development for the project itself. If this is about continuity, I believe that it will be still going on.
But about the token or coins itself, it will depend on how hype or how condition in the future about gaming projects, whether it is still profitable or not.

Gamers will still be in love with games even they can't earn money but the opportunity comes now and this likely it encourages non-gamers to get addicted. I hope this couldn't make a change in their life and still have their self-control. Because this could not be considered that a source of income but it happens nowadays, many people had got into this.
But I think we should have to remind especially those newbies that it a need to keep in balance and have to think this is risky and anytime, we can possibly lose our money if we fall into the wrong gaming platform.
2760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: November 12, 2021, 09:32:22 PM

Casimero could potentially face either Donaire or Inoue if he wins against his challenger, it's a task he cannot say no and he cannot lose if he wants his dream to be realized.

I think he will likely face Inoue as his promoter would not allow that to happen.

This is probably the scenario.

If both Donaire and Casimero will win against on their respective challengers, then one of the could fight Inoue, if one of them lose, at least there's still one left that could fight Inoue, in that way, both fights would give good money to their promoters since Inoue is popular and he will attract the fans to watch the fight.
