Santos joins elite PBA 10,000-point club

Wow! I'm happy for Arwind Santos, though he is not a humble player like JMF but we cannot deny he really has some special talent in Basketball. He is already 41 years old and he still keeps balling, this guy will achieve more success as long as he remains healthy as he is in a team that really values his contribution.
Congratulations to him, many might dislike him because of his attitude but this is still an achievement of his that he should be proud of. And on the other news, our very own Gilas won against India after being defeated by New Zealand. That's a way to boost their confidence after that losing game with NZ. Meanwhile, Chot said that it's unlikely Kai to play for Fiba Asia Cup.
Congratulations to them as well, India is not really a good team but a win is a win so they should celebrate. Our Gilas line up is not really that good, I like the old Gilas where Romeo was part of the roster, it really gives us an entertainment because they were playing competitive basketball even against the top seeded teams internationally.

.The old gilas are now a memory of our past, like what coach Chot said he will maximize who are available and regarding to Kai he and his agent have a different plan for his career, though before I forgot a win is a win indeed and congrats to team Gilas they are still playing to the best that they can and trying to bring the pride to our country.
I hope coach Chot will not be hired anymore to lead the Gilas Pilipinas, our team has to improve and we have to stick on the coaches that could really help the team to improve as that's the only way our team will become competitive. Coach Chot has already been given a lot of chance to prove himself, but we already see his limitation, he is only good in the PBA.

We always want our National to be more competitive and lift our country up in this kind of international competitions
FIBA Wolrd, we like to see them compete again and beat big teams like France.  Smiley
1842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: July 04, 2022, 12:06:43 PM
And then we have a shift of the odds again, very strange, I thought that Magsayo will remain the favorite, nevertheless this is where the Stake.com odds are:

Magsayo - 1.97
Vargas - 1.81

So somewhere, this is a huge money suddenly going into Vargas when they saw him being the underdog. So this is another great opportunity for Magsayo's supporters, because his odds went to 1.83 (still good), but the current odds is much better.

I like it, it is now favored Magsayo because of the odds that is bigger than Vargas. I say it favors because as a bettor that likes to bet on Magsayo, that 1.96 ML is very attractive. With this lots of odds movement, it only tells that not much money are being wagered in this particular fight.
I disagree with that, this is a world champion fight so I don't think people will not be interested in betting on this fight. Maybe there's a shark that bet big money on Vargas and that's the reason why Magsayo is the underdog again, but it does not really matter though because Magsayo will win and we will enjoy that 1.97 odds payout.

1844  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 04, 2022, 11:05:02 AM
I believe Crawford is still a free agent. He doesn't have any promoter now which makes this fight and negotiations very doable.

But from Mayweather Jr. says, he will be the one to announced if the fight will be finally deal. I suspect that he might plays a big role as a promoter for Terence Crawford. There's no official statement though but all this speculations will be confirmed later on.

We can also speculate a lot with Mayweather's personality, his deep connections and influence in PBC. It is really possible that Bud already joined Mayweather Promotions secretly and might tell the public only when the fight is deal or after the fight. Or maybe Bud told Mayweather to help set up the fight against Spence. And if he can do the job then Bud will sign under Mayweather Promotions. Or maybe Mayweather is just talking to get some attention because he is scheduled to have another exhibition match. There's actually a lot of people talking with regards to the ongoing situation like Swift Garcia another PBC fighter.

We don't know what's happening inside unless they'll confirm our speculation.

Mayweather is a good promoter, he is like Bob Arum who values his fighters, so a fight against is a big gamble because the chance of Crawford to win is 50/50 or even less. Regardless, I think this fight is already due, fans are asking it so they have to grant it.

Yeah, it's already due and I believe they have done so much promotion on this fight if that's what they are after because they keep delaying it. Now that it's announced and some celebrities are already involved, I think it should happen this year.

Crawford vs Spence, we will never forget this fight, and who knows, it might reach into a trilogy.
1845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL on: July 04, 2022, 09:52:21 AM
My portfolio is a wide net. 50% BTC & ETH. It's fascinating watching altcoin behavior in this downward spiral. Some unexpected surprises... Braintrust 😉. I haven't invested more than I'm willing to lose. Though down about 55% I'm in for the long term. HODL !!!
The two coins you have in your portfolio are a very good choice for the long term, although at the moment both coins may experience a slight drop in price during the current bear market, but in the long run there is no doubt about these two coins because they have proven to be able to provide great returns especially for long term holders.
If you are interested in investing some of your funds in altcoins when the market conditions are bearish, then BNB is certainly one of the coins worth holding besides BTC and ETH.
Not just only a slit drop, it is more than 50% now from the ATH which is a huge price reduction that has been happening. But yes, it was not the reason to have doubt in our minds, we have been in this situation before so I guess we already know what we gonna do - and that is to HOLD (as long as we can)...

We commit mistakes before as the majority are selling their Bitcoin instead of holding. Maybe we have to use that scenario and make that a reason why we have been encouraged to HOLD.
1846  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Almost all NFTs are scam on: July 04, 2022, 09:09:19 AM
This is exactly what NFTs are today, everyone can create theirs.
As they are welcome to do so as they did with ICO.
NFT's got an interesting view at the start but in the long run, it was a trap, people are losing, and not just like that as it ruins the image of the crypto market.

As being aware of these things, therefore, we have stayed away from them. Ignore their sweet promises as they won't give us back what they say -- it is all about marketing strategies to fool greedy people.
1847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH gas fees are low....A great time to get in? on: July 03, 2022, 11:15:26 PM
This is a bear market, ethereum really deserves the gas fees to decrease because most investors take profits and then leave ethereum leaving small investors who trade. As long as gas fees are cheap, it is very suitable if you want to trade on ethereum because I believe gas will be expensive again if the bear market is over.
You can never expect the gas fee will remain that low, we somehow know the fluctuation of demand and network transactions that will affect it. It moves back high again if there is heavy network traffic which makes some people and traders put more gas to get the priority and this will start the gas fee high again. We can see the deduction of gas fees because of low market transactions and a good time to transfer your altcoins. Yes, as to the moment that the bear season will be over, fees went high as well, even in Bitcoin has also been affected.
1848  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are we going to recover or continue to dump? on: July 03, 2022, 12:15:30 PM
What are your current opinions on the cryptocurrency market?

The market is in transition, Bitcoin is under attack by the fiat system. HODL

And if you are a trader, Exactly follow the levels and charts. Trade with discipline, have a diversified portfolio, I mean not shitcoins.
Have a higher awareness of what you are doing. And it's essential to choose the right direction
It was just time that the market turn down low again. We can speculate and blame other things as the reason for its decline but this is really how it works, it drops and pumps for many reasons. Now, if we are not able to understand it and accept this thing, it really makes us down and disappointed.

However, not all are quitters, many still manage to take risks despite their loss experience and that is because of the belief that one day the market turns bullish again making them recover from their losses.

So this is already a rematch?

Sorry, but who wins the first fight? Honestly, I don't know that it's already a rematch, but regardless on who wins the first fight, I think I will still bet on Nietes to win. By the way, do we have the betting odds already on this fight?
1851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounty programs or airdrops more profitable to participate in? on: July 03, 2022, 08:35:46 AM
Well, you can decide if you are going to participate in them or not but never you will think it give you decent rewards after completing the task, many are got disappointed with the result (that was the truth). On the other hand, they are not reliable to pay you back for your effort, mostly it was just wasted.

Airdrops and Bounty promotions still exist - some get benefit from it but some did not, that will depend on which bounty and airdrop you've joined. You should be having a deep search, otherwise.

1852  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Beware]New scammer scheme using exchange on: July 02, 2022, 11:16:06 PM
...
Here’s comes the magic trick, When you create an account on the exchange, There’s 2 method you can choose which is via email or via wallet connect, You will never gonna create successfully an account via email method and you will be forced to connect your wallet instead to create account which we all know that it will lead to exposing your private key.

This is the part to prove that he is a scammer. We can't really trust strangers especially when it talks about money.
He can't afford to do KYC but he can afford to scam people into thinking that you are stupid and innocent in about this. He got in the wrong person.

Scammers are too desperate by now, I don't know how these people still living in the darkness rather than find a moral job and work religiously they'll somehow be respected.

1853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Opposite always happens on: July 02, 2022, 10:45:38 PM
Everyone is saying that the BTC bottom isn't in yet, this is literally what everyone is saying and most times the opposite of what people are expecting is what always happens in the crypto space, do not sleep on 10k per BTC, it may never happen.
People tend to keep positive despite the decline just for the sake of boosting themselves and keeping their faith still strong. But saying it is always the opposite, that is to happen if your analysis is wrong. Of course, we can never expect a bullish trend at this time, prices went down but never I think this will lead to the worse scenario reaching $10k. I will say the worse scenario cause I was just expecting $15k as the bottom price, not $10k. But we can't hold it if that will happen, yet we can't be hopeless as well knowing that there is still a chance to recover even do it drops more.
1854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 02, 2022, 11:35:32 AM
So now the Jazz has twin towers? Rudy Gobert and KAT? not sure if this is a good combination and what will Rudy bring to them? I think this is a bad trade for the Wolves, except for his defense, I don't think Rudy offers something that will change the course of their team. On the contrary he might be liable again when small teams going to take advantage of Rudy in pick and roll and then simply get past by him in iso play outside.

Seems a bad trade but they could make this roster work. KAT will have to play PF and put Rudy on the Center position. This might work, however the game of NBA today has changes so much that the scores might usually comes from a three pointer. The Wolves might have a strong inside presence but might not work with an opponent who have a lot of shooters.
The wolves could also put Rudy on the 2nd squad.

They make that decision so I believe they already know their weakness and strengths. Keeping both big man in the team, that's a big advantage if they will play big as they will own the paint, but let's see if it will work in the actual game as in paper they look good now.
1855  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading is good for traders with passive mindset on: July 01, 2022, 11:23:04 PM
Trading can be a hectic endeavor must, especially for those who are not persistent in their trading journey, but those who put all their time and mind into trading will develop skills over time that makes them more stable in trading. So in conclusion trading is for the passive mindset and not for the laggy mindset.
Trading welcomes everyone but only those who have the capability to understand and are also those who are willing to change their mindset will stay and succeed. Even if we have a positive mindset but if we don't have skills and knowledge, that is still useless. Just like Lanatsa said, it requires ample time and effort to do trading as it was not an easy job to make.

Though it welcomes everyone, somehow there are so many reasons why many had failed, not just only having a negative mindset.
1856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is right time for investment ? on: July 01, 2022, 10:44:01 PM
Hi everyone hope you guys are doing great i just want to ask a quick question in last days Elon musk tweeted about the meme token doge and after that the meme tokens are trending so i found one good project named Hippoinu.io the first web 3.0 aggregator where user can earn rewards in all meme tokens and i think investing in this project is legit and they have a presale on pinksale on 26th june 14:00 UTC i am thinking to take part in the presale but i am scared of losing money so i need suggestions from you guys should i invest in it or not . I also share you website and website link
website: https://hippoinu.io/
whitepaper: https://hippoinu.io/whitepaper-en.pdf
Meme coins are very known because of Elon Musk but as he leaves the market, the dump is about to start and the majority went off and die.
I suggest not to try to invest in this project as you will just regret it after. Don't get fooled by the fake development and promising offer, of course, they will make you encourage to invest but in the end, they will leave you (exit scam).

If you are looking for better investment and profit, never consider meme coins on your list. They give you nothing but only stress.
1857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 01, 2022, 12:45:28 PM
I think Nets should go on a rebuilding journey again with Kyrie most likely traded and KD looking to opt out of contract as well. The could get future no. 1 picks and for now, just aim to get into playoffs. Could be a franchise defining move if they can find the next LeBron James.

Rebuilding? does not sound like the right word to use. With Durant, they won't be a different team because they have Simmons who is also a superstar, so this team is still going to be a playoff contender or a championship contender, and as long as Durant is healthy, this team will easily get into the playoffs.

Letting Irving go in exchange of more players, that will help them increase their depth and their rotation.
1858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons why people avoid KYC in gambling casino ? on: July 01, 2022, 12:07:38 PM
Like everyone said here,it's because of privacy and security. You know, some people just want to have fun gambling and not be weighed by those complicated procedure and some people do some shady things that would incriminate them if they give their identities.Casino is mainly for entertainment,so if the customer is not entertained by the way the casino doing business, they will simply avoid it.

And KYC is not fun because it beats the purpose of gambling in crypto which should give us an anonymous gambling experience. I don't know if there are some who would just comply with the KYC, but I believe majority of us here would love to keep our privacy.

The Cryptcasino industry is thriving because gamblers preferred anonymity and privacy, there are instances where gamblers should do KYC on specific situations, like verifying if you made abuse or if you deserve the prize you won because of age legality, this is because of the casino's compliance as a requirement for their license, but there is no requirement when you signing up or depositing.

It's okay if that is the main intention, but if it's only to mislead us or cheat us in order for them to witheld our winning, then that's really a big disadvantage on us because not only they will get our winnings but we are also at risk of our information getting sold in the black market.
1859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana drop up to 5% on: June 30, 2022, 11:11:47 PM
solana is quite great investment sometimes better than the likes of avalanche and matic.
But if you could accumulate at the right moment basically at the time solana losing majority of its value then you're gonna be making tremendous return of investment at the time of bullish.
just observe its current value and compare it with its ATH, if you see it's already down more than 60% maybe it's a great time to accumulate after all coin like solana eventually goes up.
Solana is in a huge price deduction a good time to buy indeed. But before we decide to buy this we must be sure that we are also willing to wait for the recovery, that possibly a long time. It was spectacular that potential coins are in the huge dump, however, people are still in doubt if they will buy them or not while they are also buying them during the bull season.
Well, even I have the money to invest in crypto, I will still not choose Sol at this time. I have some of it already, so I think that was enough. I'd be rather focusing into Bitcoin and ETH at this time.
1860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Downfall still possible? on: June 30, 2022, 10:35:02 PM
Some very good coins out there have lost 95% of their value already is it possible to see more down fall? I'm throwing this to those that are present in last bear market, marketcap and volume is over millions of dollars and price is 95% down?  Shocked :I downfall still possible? For example Metahero.
It was indeed to have a downfall experience as this is a part of the crypto market cycle. Everything has been declining and dumping more, and only the projects that have a fundamental will stay while shitcoins believe to dump worse or may die. I'm afraid about this Metahero, I've never heard it honesty. I suggest you OP take a look at its performance and the capacity of the projects in order for you to assess if this really has a fortune or not. To remind you that it was too risky investing in shitcoins.
