Hunger to win isn't enough to really win championships IMO. I'm pretty sure the Boston Celtics will now end the series later. Miami Heat already did their best but it's clear they can't stand a chance to bounce back in this series. Indeed! Wiggins and everybody on the roster especially their deadly new big three are outstanding, even though their best defensive player was removed because of the sustained injury, they are still hard to beat, and anywhere you put them they have the advantage.
The Mavericks have been playing well the entire season and keeps surprising the fans with their improvement in the playoffs until now, they are a heavy team but they just don't have the continuous consistency and the experience that the Warriors had. Well, they have proved it before and they did it again this year. This only means that they don't really need KD to win those championships before, KD needs them. What the Warriors only need is being healthy 100%. Iggy wasn't even playing, he was a great addition for both offensively and defensively. I'm glad to see them once a again on the biggest stage. I am also expecting the Celtics to win the ECF. It was a great game and Steph deserved the first ever Conference Finals MVP award. It's now 2-0, Warriors made a huge comeback in the 3rd and 4th quarter after Luka and the Mavs take the first 2.
And when we thought that the Mavs are going to even the series, look at what the defense of the Warrior did do them in the 3rd quarter, limiting them 13 points and almost double the Mavs score in the 3rd. And then finished them off with a 43-32 edge in the 4th. Looney taking advantage of Mavs small lineup, with 21-12 contributions.
Mavs have to take advantage now their homecourt so most probably, they will bounce back and take the game 3. This can be a crucial game for both teams because we know Mavs are capable of coming back from being behind on the series. Warriors made a good composure in game 2, they didn't bother about the big lead in the first half, instead they focus on the remaining quarters so they can catch up the lead and take over. Warriors have a good morale advantage here, this can be a 3-0 lead if they are able to do the same strategy they are using since game 1. Home court advantage usually a winning game and Mavs here won’t let to be upset so most probably, we will see them winning in the coming games especially in Game 3. The odds with Mavs is not that good since many expect them to be better in this finals and yet, they are still win less. Mavs should match up the strategy of Warriors also, they should know how to protect their lead since they are leading until the 3rd quarter of game 2, they could have take this win. Game 3 will be for Mavs here, I’ll bet despite of the odds. Mavs made an adjustment already, they just need some consistency.
