2761  Economy / Economics / Re: Thailand ban using crypto for payments on: March 23, 2022, 02:24:23 PM
Due to this exchanges will be unable to deposit and withdraw fiat which will affect their local exchange if there is any. But on the other side it will create more demand for p2p trading platform which will cause more price difference than the actual Market value.
2762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how does coin price UP & DOWN @ pancakeswap? on: March 23, 2022, 08:57:39 AM
Let's say there is a coin listed on pancakeswap and not listed elsewhere. Users keep on sell and purchase the coin..

So i am curious to know; how does the price go UP & DOWN because now the coin is on DEX only...

on CEX the price goes UP & DOWN; totally depends upon demand & supply... but how this thing work on DEX?
Here also the same, when sell and buy order matches the price on point the trade will be executed but the people who are making trade orders decides the price, even if they can put $1000 for a coin which has no value at all but the thing is that order will never be executed.
2763  Other / Meta / Re: Please State What Criteria or Reasons Willing to Give Your MERIT to Someone? on: March 23, 2022, 06:44:32 AM
What is my criteria when it comes to meriting a post is if it contains some content which I can learn something new or reminding of something which I know earlier but clear explanation of what is about and everyone have their own criteria and you don't need to convince anyone just stick with your own posting habits and let the merit senders attract towards you.
2764  Other / Meta / Re: A question about reposting my own content on: March 22, 2022, 04:48:17 PM
Posting the source link is enough and won't be considered as plagiarism but you can always insert the content you're copying from your own website inside
Code:
 [quote author=(source link].....[/quote]

And add extra context which required for discussion in the thread.
2765  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Signing a petition against Putin on: March 22, 2022, 01:52:44 PM
Biden already called Putin as war criminal but he doesn't care about it, do you think signing in an online petition will habe any effect? Everyone concerned about people affected by the war but still the president of Ukraine is not showing any sign of oeace talk with neutral moodz he is still on the side of NATO join so probably Putin won't stop unless Zelensky comes down.
2766  Economy / Economics / Re: Anonymous hacker's group fight against Russia on: March 22, 2022, 01:13:15 PM
Correct, while without a doubt Ukrainian and Russian citizens are the most affected by the war as those tow countries are the ones that are directly involved in it, everyone country around the world is being affected by it, after all many regions of the world are dependent on food coming from other places to satisfy their needs, and that food needs to be moved by fuel, and if the cost of fuel goes up then the cost of food goes up as well, affecting the poorer the hardest and creating a food crisis, as we were already experiencing inflation anyway due to the policies against covid19.

For some reason even we are impacted about this but we are not even around there. I mean Turkey is close, but we are not really in the middle of the war and somehow it impacted us as well. Depends on the war really, there are wars and death everywhere all the time, but for some reason we are not really feeling them because that doesn't really matter to us, people do not care about those wars. When West decides to care about it, we are all impacted about it as well. All in all food crisis is real here as well, and things cost so much more, I am not sure if it will change soon but I really hope it does.
Already inflation made the money weaker now the sanction on Russia created mess in the supply and demand chain of crude oil so the fuel price increases to ATH on most part of the world and expected to increase further if it has been like this and western countries are still importing the Oil from Russia so this is going to be a fall of existing one and rise if new super power nation.
2767  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: If this was real!! 😆 on: March 22, 2022, 06:28:43 AM
Beware of using Google products because they keep track of all your data and selling it to companies to make money, I received ssme kind of message but its not just 1 bitcoin, its about few millions worth of bitcoins, USD,etc so just ignore this and anyone still think that they can become rich without actually doing anything will become the orey for scammers.
2768  Economy / Reputation / Re: 3accountsconnected!! on: March 22, 2022, 04:56:38 AM
You can't accuse someone without proper evidence, you need to provide something convincing like connection with wallet and abused any signature campaign by violating the one account rule.

I mean something that Pandu Geddon posted in known alts thread and exposing alts.
2769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HIGHLY UNDERVALUED ALTCOINS on: March 20, 2022, 07:01:21 AM
Not really an altcoin investor but still I will say you can consider ADA, AAVE and XRP ( centralized but still it adopted more by the government side). Stay away fro cheap coins and anyone see a cryptocurrency or token for few cents don't rush to it, because soon it may reach zero, invest on the established projects so you can feel less risky.
2770  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: What is Low Fee, Full Service U.S. capable exchange+wallet on: March 19, 2022, 12:30:18 PM
Hi. I'm new and I've been burned by trying to find an exchange/wallet where I can fund an account, buy coin for trading and holding (so earning higher interest is desireable) and then convert to fiat and withdraw as needed. I am currently using FTX-US to deposit USD and buy coin (problem: not all coins I want are supported) because fees are low. I will then (when deposit clears) send coin to Celsius wallet to store and earn interest until traded again. But I will again need to go back to an exchange in order to convert to fiat and withdraw. At least this is the perceived process I've learned so far. I have yet to complete this process. As you can guess, fees at various exchanges/methods have taken their toll. Any advice will be appreciated.
Exchange and wallet are completely different things, some wallets have staking features which gives small returns for staking altcoins but for bitcoin there isn't any so don't try to feed your greed and lose everything. You can choose the exchanges for trading and choose wallet for example Electrum for storing bitcoin.
2771  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Forum boards and moderators. on: March 19, 2022, 10:04:07 AM
Apart from the reporting activity and active community member the admin has the beleive they are trustworthy and will fit for moderation of certain boards will become. In recent years theymos didn't appointed any mods even though certain boards required mods still theymos didn't so it means he still don't find the trustworthiness from a member in my opinion.
2772  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▄■▀■▄ 🌟BITVEST.io🌟 💰WIN BY 🔶PLAY 📈INVEST➡🔺🎲🎰🔲 | BET CONTEST ▄■▀■▄ on: March 19, 2022, 08:30:57 AM
it is difficult to say that Bitcointalk support or marketing works at all.
There's no longer marketing on the forum, there's no support either here. But going to the website, things are continually working until the hot wallet is dry.
Other than that, if there's no new problem then it means that things are working fine and if there's a new one, just go back to the cause of it because most of them are about withdrawals.

For sure if the hot wallet will empty many gamblers starts to complain about this site and those user will quit and leave a negative feedback and then that time for how many years building their trust will be ruined forever.  But if lightlord will fix this issues as soon as possible there's a chance that the positive trust of these two sites will remain.
There are some that have already complained.
It's already been said that lightlord will get to fix all of these issues but he has said that when he gets well. He probably still struggling with his health and everyone wishes him a speedy recovery or there are really some other problems and issues that he's dealing with right now personally.
He can respond here atleast something because he is logging in often but never responded to anything that is why the suspicion begins. I hope he will recover fast if he has any health issues but making it transparent may hold the loss of trust on their loyalty customers and if he still think his private life is more important than its his own choice.
2773  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▄■▀■▄ 🌟BITVEST.io🌟 💰WIN BY 🔶PLAY 📈INVEST➡🔺🎲🎰🔲 | BET CONTEST ▄■▀■▄ on: March 18, 2022, 02:48:57 PM
Yes as long as players can play and get they withdrawal from the site that settle it, Bitvest have to build a long-time reputation and its users are well aware of that so they don't border much about the team is active on the forum. So at that long players can deposit and withdraw from the site everything is fine at that.
Have to Build a long time reputation? Bitvest had been operating for almost 10 years now and I believe that the already build their reputation , though these past years they are changing and needs to prove that they are still worth playing for.
I still believe that they will rebuild their reputation if @lightlord really wanted this to happen.

There's undeniable that they are one of the oldest running casino here and I believe they have reputation built in this community but what's really not good to see are the changes of their behaviour and issues are showing on their business. Maybe they are not gaining enough users to play already that's why we see them slowly getting some issues like what happen on the past. But I believe lightlord still doing his best to create more good things in his casino.
I think they have some issues which might be too complex to describe here. @lightlord himself is still busy with what he's going through in real life so maybe that's why he hasn't been able to come back here and explain to us.

But I don't think @lightlord will abandon what he built years ago because he has earned a good reputation with his two sites. We don't know how much longer he will be back here and hopefully, this year will be a good time for him and his team to get things right.
No matter how long their are operating, it won't take too long for the people to lose their trust on them and there are tons of examples are out there. I don't know what is going on but remaining silent will make the customers more frustrated and at some point even their loyal customers will think about switching to new so act fast is the solution.
2774  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: How do death taxes on btc work? on: March 18, 2022, 01:11:21 PM
Actually it was unacceptable one to pay tax for our btc works. We are promoting the project in the campaign. Why should we need to pay tax for it. If any country start to implemente this.It will decrease the price of bitcoin. Because huge taxation on the bitcoin users will automatically reduce the involvement of the investment. When we made a huge huge tax, the country won't developed with the corrupted politicians.
Not only for BTC earnings, we are supposed to pay taxes for everything we earn and if we don't then we are evading and we considered as criminals as per the laws. Paying taxes doesn't really affect the price unless the tax is not really fair rate for example people will avoid paying taxes if goverment ask 50%.
2775  Other / Archival / Re: Husires - Abuse of creating duplicate themes on: March 18, 2022, 09:50:30 AM
That's what merit hunting is. Smiley

Actually it is not the violation if he deleted previous before posting the same content but its pure plagiarism and the intention is not really good so moderator should take some action atleast a temp ban will serve as a warning for everyone who intend to do like such activities in the future.
2776  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How has trading been for you during this Ukraine and Russia war on: March 18, 2022, 07:21:38 AM
Didn't trade during this time but got decent profits with p2p trading because we can have better margin due to more demand so people from the p2p trading are ready to pay little more than actual Market value and ready to sell for little lesser than actual Market value.
2777  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you think DEX is safer? Here is why I don't on: March 18, 2022, 06:34:14 AM
Your wallet connected with DEX via smart contacts some exchanges trick the users by getting the access for the contract forever so their wallet will be connected with the exchange forever so it is very important to choose the right DEX and if you're not having intensive knowledge then just better go with centralized exchange but you have to compromise your privacy.
2778  Other / Meta / Re: Ukraine and Russians should have a joint board on: March 17, 2022, 03:32:41 PM
Nothing is going to change if we create a common board for both countries because I beleive there is zero weight for people's opinions on both sides only leaders take the decision and everyone is suffering from that which is important to select the right leaders when we have that opportunity.

And you know war benefits someone for sure that is why kings extended their borders now the leader so there is no difference.
2779  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is my wallet still safe??? on: March 17, 2022, 02:41:49 PM
Is it possible that my wallet can be hack even I sent only the wallet address to scammer?  I never realized he was a scammer at first because I thought he was a legit support from a token airdrop until he asked and demanding via link address my seed phrase, of course I stopped to proceed coz I realized he was scammer trying to hack my wallet and scam me.

I want to insert image here our conversation but i dont know how.
You're safe unless you didn't send any of the private keys or passphrase of your wallet also make sure that you didn't click any phishing links if you received any such things from that scammer.

To insert image, first you need to upload the image to image hosting sites like imgur then copy bb code link of the image and insert that ink here with

2780  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are we saying the value is more important than quantity on: March 17, 2022, 11:26:05 AM
i made a thread on bitcoin is a game of quantity but majority are of the opinion that bitcoin price is all that matters neglecting the opportunity of that comes with the dip. My question now is what is the need of investment if the amount of coin before the dip is exactly the same during the new bump. I strongly believe if as an investor the major concern is centered only on how much you are making with your capital neglecting the chances of increasing your amount of coin in your wallet then such is more of a gambler and less of an investor
Quantity and value of the asset is not really different things because the value of an asset comes from the demand sonif more quantity means less value but the ultimate goal is to make profits if we are talking about investors. Not everyone is having the same strategies everyone have their own and try to make money with that.
