2761  Economy / Speculation / Re: Drug Money and the Rise and Rise of Bitcoin on: October 17, 2017, 03:16:09 PM
Ok, I know you're probably saying 'WTF man!', but here me out because it could be plausible.

I just saw the movie called 'American Made'.  It's about this pilot named Barry Seal who smuggled drugs for Pablo Escobar, and then guns for the CIA.  The thing is he made a lot of money that...  Like 'he doesn't know where to put them' a lot...  He buries bags full of cash in his backyard ffs, just like how Escobar did it.

Anyway, then I thought, it would be cool if Bitcoin was around during that time because they could easily store all that value in a USB drive.  Lol.

Then it occured to me...  Drug cartels today are bigger and better, what's stopping them from buying all the BTC they can get their hands on?

What do you guys think?
They can buy all the BTCs available that's for sure but it would be hard for them to buy what they need in real life using Bitcoin since they need to convert to fiat through legit exchanger which may give away their identities because exchanger would suspect the large amounts of cash out that is going to be requested. It is possible that they can go through other way of converting their BTC to Fiat but that will cost them more.
2762  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Longest wait on: October 17, 2017, 10:00:32 AM
My longest wait is almost 48 hours then I decided to use Viabtc's transaction accelerator. It didn't work at first because whenever I try to enter the transaction ID there's a message that says limit has been reached for the number of transaction submitted or something like that. If its stuck with no confirmation use Viabtc's transaction accelerator. BTC.com also offers transaction accelerator but there's a fee and it depends on the number of bytes. Last night I tried to use it for a $200 transaction and BTC.com is asking for $22 fee for their transaction accelerator service.
2763  Economy / Services / Re: Make up to $50-$300 per day. [EBook Giveaway] on: October 16, 2017, 05:45:55 PM
You want to make $50-$300 per day? No you can earn from an ebook giveaway! You will earn from your hard work. Those who sells books, conducts seminars and tutorials are those who are once having a hard time selling and they made it, they share their idea to everyone but its not for free, nothing is free nowadays. Our CEO used to say, if you want to earn more, spend more in learning and expanding.
2764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good time to buy ETH now? on: October 16, 2017, 04:56:58 PM
Depends on your plan and depends on the amount of BTC you have because if you plan to wait after the hard fork and wait for the air drop then don't buy yet. But if you think you will earn more and gain more if you buy ETH now since the price looks very attractive then Buy now. If you have enough for doing both then get both, keep enough amount of BTC in your wallet and buy enough ETH while its at discounted price.
2765  Economy / Lending / Re: lending services on: October 16, 2017, 04:47:55 PM
with all these  smart contract decentralized  lending services  I was  thinking how  could  you trust to lend money?

For example  there are  lending decentralized  DAPPs,  I would like to  know  how do they work.     What  happens for example if someone steals  my  data  and  he asks a  loan in cripto in my name?

That's why you need to make sure that your account is secured from hackers so that your account will not be used in any form like lending without your approval. The only time they can borrow using your details is when they use your account. They cant use another account and pretend to be you.
2766  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: My faucets ba ang ethereum? on: October 16, 2017, 02:55:02 AM
Nagtanung ako yesterday sa altcoin discussion pero walang nakasagot gusto ko lang po matanung dito na nagbabakasakali maka kuha ng sagot dito.

•San kaya yung legit and safe website kung san my faucets ang ethereum?

2767  Economy / Economics / Philippines will start Investigating Proliferation of Bitcoin and other Cryptos on: October 16, 2017, 02:47:34 AM
Here's a photo of the House Resolution filed by a nothing to do House Representative to investigate the proliferation of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies for the purpose of "protecting" the rights of the investors. The house representative is representing the 1-Pacman partylist (nice partylist name), his name is Congressman Michael L. Romero and according to the news article 1-PACMAN party-list solon is richest congressman in 2016 SALN shows he is the richest congressman in the Philippines with a declared assets and liabilities of $369 Million USD.

Looks like in the Philippines Bitcoins is being used in Ponzi's and this guy passed a proposal or a bill to further regulate Bitcoin.

2768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest now or wait a while? on: October 16, 2017, 02:28:35 AM
Maybe that's the same question that pops up in the mind of Jaime Dimon a few years ago and now that he realized that he made a mistake not jumping to Bitcoin when it was still in the early stages so he just made a negative comment about Bitcoin and somehow the market was affected and price dropped to $3,800. Bought some during the dip and now price is $5,600. Nice and easy profit. Few days ago he made another comment that those who buy Bitcoin are stupid, yeah right!  Roll Eyes
2769  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Safely on: October 15, 2017, 04:45:35 PM
-snip-
You can also consider, aside from setting achievable goals, one must learn how to stick with their goal and stick with their plan. When they feel that price may surpass their target, they would change their goal slightly higher and then something bad happen, price dropped and profits scaled down to zero.

Another is don't trade with your profits. You may set aside a certain percentage of your profits but make sure you set aside those some of your profits so if shit hits the fan, you didn't lose everything, just your capital. Profits still intact.
2770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's happening with LBRY Credits? on: October 15, 2017, 04:36:39 PM
The trend is very downfall, I trust this project, but atm the price is going down... Why the price is falling? I really don't have arguments, but how do you think LBRY will make out in the next months?
Is this a good moment to buy? I'm sure in december the price will increase, but I don't know how much the price will increase. I hope it will surpass the highest price of this year.

What do you think?
If you see LBRY credits going down, look at the other token or Alts if they are also suffering the same fate with LBRY credits. Also, look at the dollar equivalent because the BTC price may have dropped but if you check the equivalent in dollar it might still be the same because of the price of Bitcoin lately climbing to $5,000.
2771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: October 15, 2017, 04:32:48 PM
I guess the best way to play smart in gambling is set a limit on how much loss you can take and a goal on how much profit you can earn. Its the same thing with trading, your number 1 enemy in gambling is your emotion. Some gamblers don't know when enough is enough. Bringing someone with you when you play is a good idea to remind you if you reached your limit.
2772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitconnect the biggest scam on: October 15, 2017, 06:25:42 AM
I've been invited y my friends to join this Bitconnect as it promises 1% a day interest to the BCC invested in their lending platform. What they are not telling to their investors just let their investors find out is the the BCC invested cannot be withdrawn at a certain time. The minimum investment is $100 but you can withdraw your capital after 299 days.

They also brag that Bitconnect is now ranked #9 in coinmarketcap but their rise into the ranks are not really organic but because of HYIP. Good luck to those who invested and pray that they don't run away with your money.
2773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to mine in apple? on: October 15, 2017, 06:18:52 AM
Your Iphone or any Smartphone is not designed for heavy calculations like mining, its designed for communications and other small tasks. i've seen a youtube video of a man with several smartphones in front of him used for mining. This will definitely shorten the life service of the phone itself and i think the earnings is not that promising compared to mining using GPUs.
2774  Economy / Economics / Re: Does this mean Cash will be extinct? on: October 15, 2017, 06:00:29 AM
Imagine a City without electricity or maybe something happened to the grid like a disaster and electricity will be offline for 12 hours. While it sounds like a good idea because its good for the environment but going paperless or cashless needs 24/7 access to electricity without it, going cashless is not possible.
2775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning enough with Bitcoin without Job ? on: October 15, 2017, 05:46:42 AM
When Bitcoin price started to climb to $3,000 versus 1 USD thats the time when Bitcoin started getting attention specially those who are in real life trading. If you are planning to leave your day job and consider joining signature campaign as your day to day work, its not a good idea. Its a good side job, but one that pays the bills? No! Maybe not yet. Consider learning how to trade alts.

2777  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▂▃▅▆█ BITSLER █▆▅▃▂🎁 LOTTERY 🎁16 BILLIONTH BETS PROMOTION🎁 on: October 12, 2017, 03:07:35 PM
I can't open the site and even cleared my browser history. Anyone else facing this issue?
Question is are you able to reach the log-in page where it will ask you to enter you username, password and the captha? If you didnt reach that page or that page is not available, try deleting page view history and enter the site again. If still not then maybe you got banned. Do you play using free BTC only? Sorry, no offense for the question, just asking and trouble shooting.
2778  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can buy some altcoin?? on: October 12, 2017, 02:59:50 PM
You can buy Altcoins from either Poloniex and Bittrex, depends on what Altcoin do you plan to buy because not all exchanges offer the same list of tokens or coins but Poloniex and Bittrex I think have the most extensive list of alts and tokens. Minimum transaction on both platform is 0.0005 BTC. Enjoy the red days while you can.
2779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Antshares/ NEO [NEO] on: October 12, 2017, 02:55:06 PM
NEO is now gone back to previous level before the pump 550K. I expect it to go further down
Expect other coins to follow as more and more Altcoin holders are dumping for Bitcoin. They want to grab more Bitcoin in preparation of the fork for Bitcoin Gold and since Bitcoin already breached $5,000 USD, some will try to cash in thinking that price may go down to $4,000 level again. If you have the chance to enjoy both worlds (Alt & BTC) I'll take advantage of the red days and hold BTCs too.
2780  Economy / Speculation / Re: $5000 is already breached on: October 12, 2017, 08:32:40 AM
Don't celebrate yet as always there will be market correction that will follow after this and this is something that will not last, I assume after the fork price of Bitcoin will go back to $4,000 USD. But, if it stays at $5,000 up that will be great. With 13 days to go till fork, $6,000-$7,000 USD is very possible. problem with this is those alt holders are the one suffering.
