There are too many points that could simply be reduced to an illiterate letter. Of course, text that is readable, divided into paragraphs, and has a minimum of fluff is always welcome. But this is a forum where people write in a simple, colloquial, and convenient language for them. Some expressions are so appropriate that it seems that you are not communicating with a person in a virtual network but are at the same table.

Sincere interest and communication are always noticeable, and it doesn't matter if they are with or without mistakes.

Mistakes can be forgiven and there is no penalty for them, which is not the case with copying. An example of yesterday's ban is the feeling sound account, which created a bunch of threads here on the forum with other people's content taken from Reddit.

I wonder OP, in your opinion, whether this person did not understand that he was doing something bad?
2762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you introduce Bitcoin to people without digital literacy? on: August 05, 2022, 08:53:01 AM
If your friends are familiar with the internet and are experienced users, it will be easier than starting from scratch. But everything needs to be done step by step. For starters, they need to be able to surf the net and tell them about internet safety.

Then invite them to the forum if you write that they are interested in it. Teach them the rules and let them communicate with everyone on the forum. Practice is always better than theory. Everything takes time.

And only after everyone has matured, having read the information on the forum, and having received help from you, will people be able to approach the practice of bitcoin. In my opinion, these are very cautious, not hasty steps. By asking your friends, you will understand that people understand how to ask and about what I think many here on the forum will also be happy to help your friends plunge into the world of cryptography.

The main thing is not to rush.

This user shamelessly copies posts from Reddit. All his posts are plagiarism. Moderators, please check this post too. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1926895.msg60685684#msg60685684

This is not an isolated case.

The question is based on curiosity more than anything else. I’m not being flippant, but seriously, what if all exchanges simply shut down? What’s your plan?

What would you do? What would be your recourse? Even those that say “not your keys, …blah, blah, blah” what would be your plan to attempt to recover or exchange your coin without an exchange?

Is this situation even plausible? Could it happen? It would seem as of late that almost all exchanges are under some sort of scrutiny or investigation by the SEC or other regulatory entity. Without real regulations in place (other than the IRS) cryptocurrency is really in a weird Wild West predicament with so much uncertainty and FUD to go around. Twice.

I would love to hear some wild scenarios that you guys have thought through. Not only that, but if you are a major bag holder or a dedicated HODL’r, what would be your coarse of action?

Do you have a plan or an exit strategy should things go south?

If you had one billion dollars and someone threatens to take all of it away - how much of your wealth would you spend to save it? A small amount? Half? Most? If your choices where either keep 10% or 0% of your wealth, what would you choose?

Like it or not, there are quite the number of really big whales out there and it is in their best interest to defend their source of wealth. Sure, the banks and corrupt politicians have an insensitive to see Bitcoin fall. But someone fighting to defend something will ALWAYS fight harder and longer than someone attacking it.

Also, anti-bitcoin organizations are finding it exceedingly hard to receuit the knowledgeable people needed to further their agenda, since all the knowledgeable people end up switching to the pro-bitcoin side. Either because it pays better or simply because it is the right thing to do. BTC

No social media platform can provide these kind information for it users. And bitcointalk is going to beat any other social media in the internet soon. just a matter of time.

Sounds childish. Do not forget that people have other interests besides bitcoins. I understand your enthusiasm for the forum, but I doubt your statements, people are not obligated to like what you or someone likes. The forum is good, there is a lot of information here, but you should not go crazy and write such flattering posts that are completely understandable to users for what.
OP, thanks for the reminder that everyone here has to do something. It's very patriotic. Grin
2765  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Question] Compatibility issues on Linux Mint for Electrum & Ledger Live on: August 05, 2022, 07:31:56 AM
I use Linux systems and reinstall different ones from time to time. And on none of them, do I have problems installing the Electrum wallet. Install the Appimage and allow it to be used as a program. Otherwise, Linux is a very user-friendly system, and Linux Mint is very good for beginners; the interface is similar to that of Windows. If we talk about whether I will return to Windows after Linux, then I would answer that I will not return.
2766  Other / Meta / Re: [Report] Ban Evasion [Requesting Admin/mod to check those and ban] on: August 05, 2022, 06:22:20 AM
Okay, I presented my report here, and somehow I wonder why the user was still active and hasn't yet been banned? Then, I saw the explanation here by @Xal0lex with the same user in question reported by @_BlackStar and that's when I edited my report and if by chance any mods stumble upon this post, they should check it once again.

Each time you create a report, you must submit it to a moderator. It is not enough just to write in this topic. If you have evidence of more than one person violating the rule, report each one.

But I noticed that if the first time the moderators did not respond and did not block the user, then your evidence is insufficient. Try to find something more compelling. I don't know how it works, but in my experience, re-reports don't work well. Try to check everything so that there is no doubt.
2767  Other / Meta / Re: How important are you on this forum? on: August 05, 2022, 05:47:49 AM
OP, I've looked at your trust, and you're the one who probably lacks recognition. Isn't it? What do you want to hear from users here? An outburst of vanity? For someone to recognize themselves as an important person?
The strongest people are usually quiet and modest, they do not need to shout and exaggerate their strength, which is not the case by looking at your trust.
First, a person must respect himself, namely respect, and not seem respected. People see sincerity, a desire to help someone disinterestedly, and it is because of this that a person becomes important, as you put it, or rather useful. But this should be talked about by people who consider him as such and not by himself.

Myself and the likes of Lovesmayfamilis would surely miss you and she will likely create a thread in reputation for you. She did it for Nutildah Grin

I really hope this doesn't happen, but if it does, I'll hand over the baton to you.
2768  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't sit on your hands on: August 04, 2022, 03:39:56 PM
Whatever we discuss here, everyone will have their own strategy, and whether it is right or not, we will find out in the future. Someone is waiting for a low price, but time shows that if he regularly invested despite the price, he would be in more profit than just waiting for a low price.

In fact, those who wait, seeing the rise or fall, may be very late. Bitcoin is unpredictable and we have seen it. Investing so much that you don't lose money, as well as making a plan for a certain amount of time, would be much more profitable than just regretting your doubts in the future.

You have money, but your sister does not. Your phrase "why should I" speaks volumes. Why are you posting here? What would you like? For us to tell you that you are such a nice, cool dude?

Just help your sister; it's scary when people save five bucks. Give her a gift, tell her about bitcoins, and don't think about why you should. If such questions arise, then do nothing; let everything be OK with you because you don’t owe anything to anyone, right?

You know, there is such a sign-when you give, you receive. Today you help your nephews, and tomorrow someone will help you. The rule is working.

I belive that Switzerland  is one of the most crypto-friendly countries in the world. Switzerland was one of the initial shining stars in the world of cryptocurrencies. In 2018,  Switzerland is known for many things. In the realm of finance, it is known for Swiss banking standards, which allow for high levels of privacy with low levels of risk. The government recognized bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as legitimate digital assets, and Bitcoins are even valued as legal tenders in some regions. Individual traders who hold and invest using their own accounts are not liable to tax in Switzerland. And if you buy or sell through the authorized professional traders, then it is considered a business, and you will be taxed accordingly. A city named Zug in Switzerland is famous as a crypto valley. The city acts as a literal magnet for fin techs and other blockchain-related startups.

Bitcoin is a digital exchange currency born in 2009.Everyone needs to be cool on bear season .Only newuser in crypto  afraid to the current price of BTC.but old member know this very well about this situation. becuase they see this type of price fall many time and they face this and know how to handel on this situation.More and more businesses accept Bitcoin in exchange for their products or services and its adoption has become massive, especially in electronic commerce. You can buy from video games to a package Tesla. That’s right, you can take a car with zero kilometers paying only with your bitcoins.Bitcoin’s first “big” jump happened in summer 2010. The price rose from a fraction of a cent in the spring to $0.09 by July. Very few people, except for very niche tech experts and finance enthusiasts, knew enough about Bitcoin to buy the currency. By October, 2010 the price was about $0.10. now 22k so you have to undestant how  much it popular , under 10 years .

A lot of people already suffers from the effect of these world events, covid-19.Despite the coronavirus pandemic, in 2020, the world’s five wealthiest individuals saw their collective worth increase by more than $260bn. Financially, those on higher incomes have suffered less than low skilled, low-income workers and the young, who have been hit especially hard. Not only is the pandemic’s economic impact likely to linger, global inequality is worsening, with no obvious remedy in sight. This is very unfortunate. It does seem that bad events affect people with fewer resources more heavily than others, but it's another thing when someone is actually profiting from a situation that causes lots of suffering to others. The COVID-19 pandemic has become a disaster for the lower middle class and vice versa as a big big business sector for investors to pour funds into hospitals. Yes, the production of masks and hospital equipment is a big target. I think trends of wealth and wage inequality have persisted for some time before COVID.Rich people/families on the other hand had the chance to extend their hands to businesses that were booming during the pandemic such as pharmaceuticals, online selling, and other stuff that was the trend during the pandemicthe majority has been suffering.

PARAPHRASING WITHOUT INDICATION OF THE SOURCE.

Bank of America believes that the recent increase in crypto outflows from exchanges and stablecoin net inflows indicate "bullish" market momentum.
he bank went so far as to state in the July edition of its Global Cryptocurrencies and Digital Assets report that "fading sell pressure" had now shifted to "buying."
This shift in mood can also be observed in an 11 percent increase in the digital asset market between June 29 and July 26, despite a 56 percent year-to-date decline.
"As risk assets surge, investors are exiting the sidelines. Tight supply and persistent net outflows of currency imply that investors continue to HODL "According to the research.
What's more, the current uptick in prices follows extraordinarily high CPI figures and the Federal Reserve's decision to raise interest rates by the most in 20 years.
Despite this, Bank of America believes investors have adjusted to the present macroeconomic turmoil and are ready to return to risk-on terrain.
Bitcoin, Ethereum, and FTX's native token FTT have all seen significant inflows to wallets and outflows from cryptocurrency exchanges.
This is commonly interpreted as a positive indication since investors generally remove assets from exchanges when they are just interested in retaining the item (rather than selling).

When looking at Bitcoin, for example, the top cryptocurrency had a remarkable $508 million in outflows from exchanges in the previous month. During the same time period, it increased by 19%, rising from $19,300 on July 2 to $23,160 on August 1.
According to Bank of America (BAC), the recent increase in crypto outflows from exchanges and stablecoin net inflows indicate "bullish" market momentum. And the "waning sale pressure" has given way to "purchasing."

Blaming your parents for being poor is a sign of your own weakness. If your childhood didn't suit you, make it better for your children. Only after a person achieves something can he blame someone. In my country, there are many families who live without thinking about the future. Only a few succeed with the help of the mind or fraud. And here, everyone can make a choice for themselves. Is he ready to learn, or is he ready to get rich by deceiving people?

After all, everyone knows, and let's not dissemble, that not all successful and rich people were born into prosperous families, and not all the property of rich people was earned honestly and with their own minds.
2773  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why People Use Bitcointalk on: August 02, 2022, 06:04:14 AM
Asking people the benefits of the forum they are registered on is like asking why people chose a particular profession. The answer is simple: it's better here. You will probably get the same answer on another forum. Therefore, I will not repeat all the benefits described by other people; the choice is always up to the user. And the OP most likely came here for the merit that would help him participate in the bounty.

Counter question to the OP: Why are you here?
2774  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: All newbies are welcome to this forum on: August 01, 2022, 05:29:41 AM

I actually follow some local Telegram and FB groups in the Croatian language, so that wouldn't help you much.
As for crypto forums, I only follow this forum because it is still the most relevant place for crypto information and discussions.
What I really wanted to say is that the younger generations no longer follow Internet forums and prefer different crypto groups on social networks and Telegram, and for a long time there has been a decline in activity on this forum. I think that this trend will continue because this way of communication is clearly not interesting and attractive enough for younger generations.

It's a matter of taste. For example, I do not trust telegram channels at all. What do they have? How long will they live? Is there at least one channel that compares to the forum? Is there a history to the free access of such channels?

I prefer the complete library over clippings from articles, as with these channels. This is something like real food and its likeness. The whole point for the owner of the telegram channel groups is to gain the number of subscribers and cut down on the same amount of money.

The youth you are talking about are hanging out in other venues, just lazily. There are, of course, rules that are not to everyone's taste.

But again, I'm not insisting. Tastes could not be discussed.
2775  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Benefits of been a bitcointalk member on: July 31, 2022, 09:11:32 AM
The advantage is that here you get a huge number of people interested in cryptocurrencies. Communication with them, with the ability to ask questions you do not understand and receive answers in several opinions,

Where is there such a thing? Telegram groups? I don't think it's any more convenient. All communication eventually goes down in history, and it is simply impossible to take an interest in all the posts of a person who has become interesting to you. After all, telegram groups are notorious for having numerous people seeking to deceive someone.

If we say that many articles have been written about Bitcoin and there is a lot of information on the Internet, then in any case, through communication and repetition of the incomprehensible, in other words, information is better absorbed. That's what this forum is for.

But to all the pluses, of course, I will add the motivation to receive some financial benefits.
2776  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Random tips for beginners/newbies. on: July 31, 2022, 08:54:47 AM
I disagree. The Forum is not a school where students must attend every day. This is a free forum, and one should not be in a hurry to become famous. Your advice to the OP may be taken by some to mean that the more often you catch the eye, the better. But this is not at all necessary.

The study and love for bitcoin come gradually. It is possible to accidentally register on the forum, forget about it, and return after a while. I don't see anything strange. Interests are different.

I'm talking about my own experience. Once I registered on a forum (not on this one), saved my login and password in Roboform, and three years later, I returned to that forum again. Registration became paid, but I was an old member.

Therefore, you should not limit people's freedom.

After all, when the text is placed in the form of a picture, it is very difficult to check for plagiarism. No verification system will be effective. What a blessing for plagiarists Grin

Extracting text from an image is easy. Use Yandex or another similar site. Insert a picture, and in the field, you can check the text for plagiarism. In this example, I think it was taken from Twitter.

After all, we don't know the age and subtleties of his relationship with his mother, so why condemn him. That's not why he shared his story. I am sure that OP has already heeded to many constructive advice given to him in the discussion of this topic.

Are you offended? I did not mean to offend, but I read all the posts and was surprised by the variety. Simplicity will save the world. Have you heard about it? You don't need to reinvent the wheel to store your seed phrases. You just need to be careful. Likewise, you can also lose a piece of metal. In the same way, Mommy will throw away a piece of paper with colorless ink, so there will be nothing to reproach her with.

The age of the account suggests that the OP is not a child, registered in 2016, and he is still at a loss about storage. Do you really believe it?

And also, I just imagined an evil mother who would not listen to her son; nevertheless, she would carefully clean his table.

Reinstall the entire system, and format all drives, because if you use Windows, only one drive is formatted.
Are you sure about this part? I always see the option to format other drives when I'm reinstalling it.

That's exactly what I meant. Sometimes people leave one disk and install the system on the second one. It can go unnoticed out of habit, which is why I pointed it out to the OP.

But I think that the owner also might not be interested in leaving his history and completely formatting the entire disk.

You're right.

I just didn't read your post and gave credit. Since I always respect those people who understand that the forum is not a dump, and we must start with ourselves. I also deleted posts that belonged to bounty reports and others. I didn't lose anything.

In addition, you do not have to explain to us the reason for deleting your posts. Whatever you do, the forum archives all your posts, so whoever might be interested in the story one day will still leave an imprint of posts that are not deleted.

But you are on the right track and merit support.
