@BitcoinGirl.Club, I really don't see the point of creating another topic and creating more drama between individual members. Both of your tags are equally ridiculous and absurd, and you started it.

This is all reminiscent of the story of the boy who walks and shows everyone a finger with a splinter. He does not want to pull out a splinter because people feel sorry for him and the kid gets more attention.

What is remarkable is that Royse777 limited himself to a neutral tag. I don't know if he called for the help of lawyers.

I have Royse777 and JollyGood on my trust list, and I know they are both normal people. There have been several cases where JollyGood has changed or removed its reviews altogether. It's time to get used to his behavior. Furthermore, two reviews from one are equivalent to one.Royse777 got into history, and I think he will also successfully get out of it over time.

But your presence here seems completely superfluous to me. I haven't followed deeply, but I still believe in both of them.

Did something happen to the ignore button?

The BTC bear market has reached its final stage with signs of deep capitulation, however no bottom signals have yet been formed. Whales are accumulating BTC more aggressively than during the 2020 Covid crash or the 2018 bear market. It is important for BTC to break above $23,000 to allow ETH to continue its upward movement. ETH is the leader of the alt market, so this positive may have a good effect on the price of all other alts. Therefore, the growth of bitcoin strengthens the position of other coins in which the giants invest, so most likely the bull market will come soon. Maybe not this year, but in 2023 you can definitely count on it.

There is a funny sign: "How you call a boat, so it will float." Call it "victory" to be your winner, call it "trouble" and, accordingly, the name will let you down. But these are jokes. The main thing is not in the nickname itself, but in what kind of person wears it. I found here very, very sonorous names. One might say great ones, so what? Many have remained in the history of banned and fraudulent accounts.

Some people come to the forum just by chance. They need to solve one or two questions, but later the forum attracts them with its interesting content, and the nickname that the user has chosen remains. I literally told my story.

There are, of course, very stupid names, and this basically speaks of the property of the mind of a person who has chosen a lascivious nickname, but in general, I do not see any problems with the freedom to choose nicknames.
2764  Other / Meta / Re: Is a user able to Trust/Distrust even when they are banned? on: August 07, 2022, 03:52:18 PM
As far as I know, it's not possible for a banned user to leave a feedback at all. Correct me if I am wrong, please.
You can't leave new feedback if you get banned, but apparently you can delete feedback that you have submitted earlier before you got banned. I wonder if switching is also possible. From negative to neutral or from neutral to positive, for example. To me, that constitutes as leaving new feedback and therefore shouldn't be possible.

If nothing has changed since 2019, at the time when my account was banned, then deleting reviews was possible. Nothing else, like, for example, a change to a neutral review or a negative one, and this would mean a new action, was impossible.
2765  Economy / Economics / Re: Hyundai rolls out 27 heavy-duty hydrogen trucks in Germany on: August 07, 2022, 02:10:17 PM

I can't say what will one day be the ideal replacement for oil and gas, but I know that we can't rely on them forever because sooner or later their supplies will be used up. Accordingly, alternatives must be sought, or the world will one day stop because there will be no oil and gas that drives it today.

I agree. If we remove the current situation with gas supplies, one day it would still happen, the resources are not unlimited.  All new developments succeed in times of crisis. There is motivation to develop something new. As time shows, it's time to do it now. There is probably a period for something new, as happened with COVID. Countries were able to suppress this virus by finding a cure, proving to everyone that civilization does not stop there.

The same will happen with the alternative of using gas and oil. A good expression is, "What doesn't kill us makes us stronger."
2766  Economy / Services / Re: Any work available to earn like 100 dollars in a week or so? on: August 07, 2022, 12:43:50 PM
You have been registered on the forum since March. You also write that you have two languages that you speak well. Why not join the forum more closely, learn as much as possible about bitcoin and cryptocurrency, and improve your level of knowledge? $100 a week on the Internet without work experience is very difficult to get, and more additional knowledge is needed, so I just suggest that you start developing in your free time. Having a forum rank and earning extra income in today's times is a very advantageous position, in addition to the fact that you can meet people and maybe offer article translation services.

My thought and advice are, do not sit idle, do not wait to be found, and develop yourself more.
2767  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you introduce Bitcoin to people without digital literacy? on: August 07, 2022, 10:32:24 AM
A person who is truly interested in a bitcoin will find ways and sources of information to learn more about it. You don't need to be digitally literate to use Google's search engine. Now everyone knows how to do this, which means that it is easy to find guides and training materials for learning information about btc.

Are you sure that all the sources that Google gives out today are trustworthy? How about advertising fake wallets? And that's what Google does.
I believe that whoever seeks will find it. But self-study takes quite a long time compared to getting information from a person who can explain everything "on the fingers".
It is easy to explain what bitcoin is and how to use it metaphorically; what is close to people, and after understanding the essence, explain it completely. But both those who study on their own and those who have a teacher still need to be prepared for mistakes and losses. Specifically, mistakes are the best teachers.
2768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have started teaching Bitcoin to my Neighbors on: August 07, 2022, 10:07:55 AM
I have read here that some do not agree that the motivation for learning bitcoin from young people will be to make a profit. And what's wrong with that? The OP doesn't say that the first thing he teaches them is how to invest, of course, there will come a point during their training period when they need to start practicing. The theory is not always clear without practice. One of the students already owns his own store, I think he will be interested to start selling for bitcoins, and of course, as it is written, after gaining knowledge.
OP, my respect for you. Not everyone these days is so open to taking the time to explain, and I hope the teaching has been multiple times. Video materials, as was also mentioned here, cannot be complete training without a teacher who can directly explain all the incomprehensible points in simple language.

I don't know this guy at all, but he looks like a person who hasn't read the unofficial list of (official) rules sticked on this board before posting here.

He learned about the rules, but it was too late, he was banned.
And his second account also learns about the rules late.

it seems that it is important for us to provide free education about bitcoin, especially when the world economy is experiencing a decline, and indeed very many people provide education about bitcoin for free, a simple example is to families who do not know about bitcoin. because I myself have experienced something like that. because at first I also didn't know about bitcoin, until finally my own brother taught me about bitcoin, until finally I was interested in investing in bitcoin. and also I think it is important for everyone to know about bitcoin, especially when the world economy is in a downturn, because bitcoin will open up opportunities for those who are interested in investing in bitcoin. for long term or short term investment. and uniquely investing in bitcoin can be started with small capital or large capital. so it can be reached by everyone.

It's been discussed 100s of times here. But for the most part it seems to come down to taxes. If you can move large amounts of money in whatever form without the government knowing then they don't get their tax revenue. So they try to regulate & control ways of moving money so they do get their cut of it.

Anything else is all smoke an mirrors and excuses.

2770  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Question] Compatibility issues on Linux Mint for Electrum & Ledger Live on: August 06, 2022, 10:36:37 AM

Linux Mint works like magic in my laptop as compared with Windows LOL

This is not surprising since the RAM requirement : "Minimum 512 MB of RAM for Cinnamon, XFCE and MATE shells and as many as 2 for KDE" for Linux Mint is much smaller than for Windows. I think that you used the 64-bit version, which requires a minimum of 4 GB plus the ever-tracking and slowing down Windows trackers. If you don't need the Linux frills, you can always choose the XFCE version. There will be no animation; everything will be quite modest, and this also increases the speed of Linux.

There are so many of these systems that any user can find the most convenient for himself.
2771  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Self-custody isn’t for everyone: WisdomTree exec on ‘be your own bank’ on: August 06, 2022, 10:16:03 AM
The fact that people cannot be their own bank is equivalent to how much today's civilization has become spoiled with various services. A person is lazy by nature. This is more than suitable for this topic. Everyone is used to shifting responsibility to someone else. Children also want to rely on adults. Is there a difference between these? I think no.

Trusting an organization that can change its shoes and changes its rules for a client at any time is much more dangerous than turning on your brain (sometimes at least) and deciding how to keep your money safe.
2772  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Error Analysis in Bitcointalk Forum on: August 06, 2022, 09:43:11 AM
There are too many points that could simply be reduced to an illiterate letter. Of course, text that is readable, divided into paragraphs, and has a minimum of fluff is always welcome. But this is a forum where people write in a simple, colloquial, and convenient language for them. Some expressions are so appropriate that it seems that you are not communicating with a person in a virtual network but are at the same table.

Sincere interest and communication are always noticeable, and it doesn't matter if they are with or without mistakes.

Mistakes can be forgiven and there is no penalty for them, which is not the case with copying. An example of yesterday's ban is the feeling sound account, which created a bunch of threads here on the forum with other people's content taken from Reddit.

I wonder OP, in your opinion, whether this person did not understand that he was doing something bad?
2773  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you introduce Bitcoin to people without digital literacy? on: August 05, 2022, 08:53:01 AM
If your friends are familiar with the internet and are experienced users, it will be easier than starting from scratch. But everything needs to be done step by step. For starters, they need to be able to surf the net and tell them about internet safety.

Then invite them to the forum if you write that they are interested in it. Teach them the rules and let them communicate with everyone on the forum. Practice is always better than theory. Everything takes time.

And only after everyone has matured, having read the information on the forum, and having received help from you, will people be able to approach the practice of bitcoin. In my opinion, these are very cautious, not hasty steps. By asking your friends, you will understand that people understand how to ask and about what I think many here on the forum will also be happy to help your friends plunge into the world of cryptography.

The main thing is not to rush.

The question is based on curiosity more than anything else. I’m not being flippant, but seriously, what if all exchanges simply shut down? What’s your plan?

What would you do? What would be your recourse? Even those that say “not your keys, …blah, blah, blah” what would be your plan to attempt to recover or exchange your coin without an exchange?

Is this situation even plausible? Could it happen? It would seem as of late that almost all exchanges are under some sort of scrutiny or investigation by the SEC or other regulatory entity. Without real regulations in place (other than the IRS) cryptocurrency is really in a weird Wild West predicament with so much uncertainty and FUD to go around. Twice.

I would love to hear some wild scenarios that you guys have thought through. Not only that, but if you are a major bag holder or a dedicated HODL’r, what would be your coarse of action?

Do you have a plan or an exit strategy should things go south?

If you had one billion dollars and someone threatens to take all of it away - how much of your wealth would you spend to save it? A small amount? Half? Most? If your choices where either keep 10% or 0% of your wealth, what would you choose?

Like it or not, there are quite the number of really big whales out there and it is in their best interest to defend their source of wealth. Sure, the banks and corrupt politicians have an insensitive to see Bitcoin fall. But someone fighting to defend something will ALWAYS fight harder and longer than someone attacking it.

Also, anti-bitcoin organizations are finding it exceedingly hard to receuit the knowledgeable people needed to further their agenda, since all the knowledgeable people end up switching to the pro-bitcoin side. Either because it pays better or simply because it is the right thing to do. BTC

No social media platform can provide these kind information for it users. And bitcointalk is going to beat any other social media in the internet soon. just a matter of time.

Sounds childish. Do not forget that people have other interests besides bitcoins. I understand your enthusiasm for the forum, but I doubt your statements, people are not obligated to like what you or someone likes. The forum is good, there is a lot of information here, but you should not go crazy and write such flattering posts that are completely understandable to users for what.
OP, thanks for the reminder that everyone here has to do something. It's very patriotic. Grin

I use Linux systems and reinstall different ones from time to time. And on none of them, do I have problems installing the Electrum wallet. Install the Appimage and allow it to be used as a program. Otherwise, Linux is a very user-friendly system, and Linux Mint is very good for beginners; the interface is similar to that of Windows. If we talk about whether I will return to Windows after Linux, then I would answer that I will not return.

Okay, I presented my report here, and somehow I wonder why the user was still active and hasn't yet been banned? Then, I saw the explanation here by @Xal0lex with the same user in question reported by @_BlackStar and that's when I edited my report and if by chance any mods stumble upon this post, they should check it once again.

Each time you create a report, you must submit it to a moderator. It is not enough just to write in this topic. If you have evidence of more than one person violating the rule, report each one.

But I noticed that if the first time the moderators did not respond and did not block the user, then your evidence is insufficient. Try to find something more compelling. I don't know how it works, but in my experience, re-reports don't work well. Try to check everything so that there is no doubt.
2778  Other / Meta / Re: How important are you on this forum? on: August 05, 2022, 05:47:49 AM
OP, I've looked at your trust, and you're the one who probably lacks recognition. Isn't it? What do you want to hear from users here? An outburst of vanity? For someone to recognize themselves as an important person?
The strongest people are usually quiet and modest, they do not need to shout and exaggerate their strength, which is not the case by looking at your trust.
First, a person must respect himself, namely respect, and not seem respected. People see sincerity, a desire to help someone disinterestedly, and it is because of this that a person becomes important, as you put it, or rather useful. But this should be talked about by people who consider him as such and not by himself.

Myself and the likes of Lovesmayfamilis would surely miss you and she will likely create a thread in reputation for you. She did it for Nutildah Grin

I really hope this doesn't happen, but if it does, I'll hand over the baton to you.
2779  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't sit on your hands on: August 04, 2022, 03:39:56 PM
Whatever we discuss here, everyone will have their own strategy, and whether it is right or not, we will find out in the future. Someone is waiting for a low price, but time shows that if he regularly invested despite the price, he would be in more profit than just waiting for a low price.

In fact, those who wait, seeing the rise or fall, may be very late. Bitcoin is unpredictable and we have seen it. Investing so much that you don't lose money, as well as making a plan for a certain amount of time, would be much more profitable than just regretting your doubts in the future.

You have money, but your sister does not. Your phrase "why should I" speaks volumes. Why are you posting here? What would you like? For us to tell you that you are such a nice, cool dude?

Just help your sister; it's scary when people save five bucks. Give her a gift, tell her about bitcoins, and don't think about why you should. If such questions arise, then do nothing; let everything be OK with you because you don’t owe anything to anyone, right?

You know, there is such a sign-when you give, you receive. Today you help your nephews, and tomorrow someone will help you. The rule is working.
