2761  Economy / Services / Re: John (John K.)'s escrow service (previously known as johnthedong) on: January 08, 2014, 01:34:39 PM
Tis troubling that he hasn't at least popped in to say that he is busy. Does anyone have John K's contact info?

As I said on previous page, pekv2 migh have his contact details (because he leaked John's email address few weeks ago), I also found John with those info on facebook but haven't bothered saving the info anywhere, so I wouldn't be able to contact him now.

I edited the OP few hours ago to warn others but he edited it back, if he does it again I will move his topic to Trashcan.

2766  Other / Off-topic / Re: Thinking about naming my baby girl Bitcoin.. (due in 3 weeks) on: January 07, 2014, 11:59:21 AM
Go for it, OP, when she's older she'll appreciate it. That's almost like sharing a common name with a celebrity.

You could also consider getting her a tattoo with a QR code but I would wait with this until she's older and can consent to this.

Would you have been happy if your parents had name you 'Dollar'?

Get a grip man. Giving her bitcoins: yes, cool, go for it. Naming her 'Bitcoin': not so much.

My grandma calls her cat "Dollar", and the cat doesn't seem to be raising any objections.

pekv2 might have his contact details if you'd like to remind him of the BTC he's holding.

Keep it "hypothetical" Smiley

If you're not admitting to doing it and only throwing ideas around... hopefully theymos would be OK with that.

But it would be better if he responded.

Keep in mind that openly sharing your knowledge regarding these matters can render it useless if too many people start using it (especially if you decide to be very specific).

Clicked on ops link, virus checker immediately shut it down saying trojan. I would advise those on desktops to steer clear of that site.

Yeah, the website is compromised. The original owner sold it and the new one installed malware.

I don't have the link handy, but the original guy made another one with a slightly different name that's safe, malware wise.

See post #8 in this thread. Anytime they ask for more, it's 100% guaranteed to be a scam.

Well, he asked me for more when I lent him initially, obviously I refused, but I was still repaid in time. Someone PM me if he doesn't repay in time, and I'll contact him by email.

The Administrator coin is already removed from his username, this is more scary, he is holding the 100 btc from the coinroll raffle
would someone can give me his email address to contact him??

(I think) he's no longer an admin not because he is untrustoworthy (I'd still trust him even though I have never done any business with him) but because he's not been very active in the past few weeks, and there's no need for inactive accounts to have admin privileges.

It's only enabled in Mining, Trading Discussion, Marketplace and Alternate cryptocurrencies boards (and in their child boards).

Jak chciałem w tym celu wynająć akademik dwa lata temu, to niestety okazało się, że mało prądu można z instalacji pobierać.
2779  Other / Meta / Re: *Petition* Add Bullion/Numismatic Child Board *ie Marketplace > Goods > Bullion on: December 31, 2013, 02:26:13 PM
We don't just have to take the first page into consideration. I'm sure there's lots of other things that could have their own sections, but would probably look a bit bare in the grand scheme of things.

Sure, take a look at previous pages, if a type or group of goods starts to become a considerable percentage of the overall listings, then it often means it deserves to have its own child board (this is why we have Computer hardware and Digital goods).
2780  Other / Meta / Re: *Petition* Add Bullion/Numismatic Child Board *ie Marketplace > Goods > Bullion on: December 31, 2013, 01:24:56 PM
I don't think there's enough to justify its own childboard. There's a lot of people selling consoles too, but they don't really need to be separate.

Not as much.
