I have been trying to get this miner to run with my RX 480s today.
I dont seem to get the batch file to work, i feel stupid because i have been doing this alot during the years.
I want to mine eth at suprnova, could someone help me sort out a batch file ?
If i run the original batch file that comes with the miner it is starting up right away but when i change something in it the miner cant connect to the pool.
Do you have the right proxy version set? suprnova is finicky. hmm not sure, i tried to use the information available on their site in the help section. But i am not sure if i get the batch file done right either. This one does not look like they do usally. Pasta your bat file. I am at work right now and the rig is shut down back home. I just found some good stuff at ethermine.org/ regarding the batch file. I will try to remake it when i get back home, if i dont get it to work i paste it here. I have posted the command for Claymore in the header of the pool: Claymore: ethdcrminer64 -epool etc-eu.suprnova.cc:3333 -ewal suprnova.1 -epsw x -esm 3 -allpools 1 -allcoins 1 Is it not working for you ? |

i ve tried to test expense too, as my 380's are unstable on etc & eth but miner crash at start when it try on pool exp.suprnova.cc but i don't understand why some miners crash on etc and others working fine all 380 2 gigas gpu's asus ring 5 gpu they working fine, + 1 solo xfx working fine too but my xfx 6 gpu ring just get crazy at start or after few minutes on etc and some more on eth before it get errors and the 5x sapphire can few minutes or couple of hours before get same errors  so weird Can you post me the message how it is crashing ? Maybe it is using the wrong Stratum Variant ? Miningrentals is full of ETH and ETC but no SHF.

I know that it is not a pool sub - but it is much faster to get an answer here I mine dual ETC+SC with CDM My pool is nanopool. I'm getting about two time less estimations on nanopool (ETC and 25% less of SIA) compared with https://www.whattomine.com calculator My rates are 118MHs - ETC, 2300MHs - SC. Luck is OK1) Nanopool Estimations ETC - 1.826 per day SIA - 4,786.902 per day 2) Calculator ETC - 3.938171 per day SIA - 6,420.437005 per day Is it known issue, smth wrong with their stats or anything else? ETH and SIA calculations are pretty much ok, for ETH I was getting best results on Dwarfpool. For now ETC network is extremely volatile with some pool disconnects, orphans and stales. It will sort out in time for sure. Which ETC pool is best for you? I tried many pools, the rejection is between 15 to 30%. So I gave up.l Try: https://etc.suprnova.ccEfficiency is > 99 %, stratums in multiple locations and if you're still having problems, just come into #suprnova IRC on freenet and we'll find out whats wrong. i am asking out of curiosity... is etc facing the same problem what happened with eth/dao i thought that etc will not have the same problems especially after the hardfork if i m wrong correct me pls ETH is secured from the "effect" of the DAO. That is that the stolen coins are returned. But it still suffered massivly due to panic and lost trust. ETC is suffering the DAO effect, consdiering the stolen coins belongs to the hacker. There will not be a new DAO on any of the chains. ETH has to regain trust. ETC has to survice the hacker dump. Im not sure what the status is with replay attacks.... its all a f***n mess. The Hacker dump... Maybe see it from another side, some clever guy (the one who exploited the Dao bug) has merely unlimited money now for funding... If he's double clever, he rents some skilled people and develop features which make the price even rise more and the coin good |

Hi thanks for your reply. I was actually talking about actual vs expected earnings. Probably ETC mining difficulty and new comers reduce the reward significantly which is not reflected in "whattomine"s calculation
Unsure about this, but diff and nethash has doubled in the last 24h which literally halved rewards |
