2765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin protect? on: March 26, 2016, 01:31:06 PM
Always Use two way authentication if you are using Web wallet. And you are safe.
In the Hard wallet, you can use Core or Electrum.
Paper wallet is most secure if you dont lose the Pass phrase.
yes its safe, but i dont think that was safest way to protect bitcoin from on web wallet, how if smartphone or computer that used for two way autenthication is gon, burried or lost your device?its will more complicated.

Two professors at the Department of War Studies at King’s College London have published the results of their deep dive into The Onion Router, or Tor, network, which is designed to make it difficult to track the activity of online users.

The study found that websites offered illicit goods and services in 12 categories, including finance, and that bitcoin was still the digital currency of choice for conducting a wide range of other transactions.

“Bitcoin is the most common currency employed in all Tor hidden-services trade,” wrote Daniel Moore, a cyber-threat intelligence engineer in the Department of War Studies.

The report, "Cryptopolitik and the Darknet,” which appeared in the February-March edition of Survival: Global Politics and Strategy, analyzed about 300,000 web addresses, identifying 5,205 live websites, out of which 2,723 were classified as illicit with a “high degree of confidence.”
most popular not mean most used by people on dark web,i'm sure paypal also have so many user, bitcoin become popular becuase this currency still new and paypal earlier, but we must be keep focus to make bitcoin more popular on dark web and in real life.

Hey there every1 i wanna know how can i safely store 6.xx bitcoins of mine? Please don't recommend hardware wallet as they are waste of money as i ak sure there are some other safe bitcoin wallets.I want a wallet that is independent means even if some service shuts down i still have control of my bitcoins. Is blockchain.info wallet safe? As they say they always get our password in encrypted form.is that really true?is there service shuts down will i still have control over it?Please help me friends how can i backup my wallet and store it in say usb drive and store it somewhere safe.is that possible? or any other best bitcoin wallet? and yet don't recommend desktop wallets which can easily be affected by malware
i never hear about any wallet got hack or stolen,so i think every wallet is safe, even i use coinbase, but i'm sure so many wallet also really safe, blockchain is safe too,i ever use that. if you want to know what is safest, juct check out on end of comment, and then count what wallet was used by people here,i think its the safest wallet.

Title.

So. Electric cars are gaining in popularity, therefore the popularity of gasoline will be going down. Won't the price go down, leaving the oil industry in trouble?
yes i think so,and maybe oil price will gong down because this, but i think it wont happen in nearly years, some countries still not use electric car,and i also think conventional car will never lost their lover, oil will always have big market.

cause everyone is greedy, they wanna make easy money with fun, so people prefer making money in this way, but most people failed because casinos have house edges, we lose in the long run, so we should stop when we earn, although it is difficult for us

2776  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: March 25, 2016, 03:02:18 PM
A lot of people here gamble to become rich, but some do it for fun.

The question is, if you wake up tomorrow with 50 million dollars, would you still gamble for fun, or would you forget about gambling and do other stuff? Personally I think I would still gamble. I do it now, and I know I realistically will never get rich off gambling, because I barely do it and I don't risk much money, just for fun sometimes, to test my luck.
So if I had a lot of money, I would do bigger gambles, but they would still enter in the "for fun" amount (for the new 50 million standard). For example, gambling 1K a month would be irrelevant, and winning with a 1K bet can give you big rewards if you are lucky. It would still be fun, in fact more fun, and it would be as non risky as it is now, in terms of going financially bankrupt.
yes maybe i will keep playing gambling, even i have som much money, but it will different decision when i play gambling,if now i playing gambling to earn money, then if i were rich,i will playing gambling when i'm boring, just spent money for some adrenaline.
2777  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Buying bitcoin for the first time on: March 25, 2016, 02:54:37 PM
Any suggestions on how to buy bitcoin being brand new?

I was buying bitcoin from Bitquick.co for the past year. Now they are down for an undetermined amount of time and I would like to purchase some bitcoin.

I am not looking to get ripped off, is their a way to do escrow?

If there is a thread on topic I apologize.
if you dont want to buy bitcoin on exchange, you should buy on people in this forum, sent your money first to trusted seller, and get the best escrow to handle your transaction, its fast and safe way to buy bitcoin.
2778  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Does Trading Work? What Are good sites? on: March 25, 2016, 02:52:08 PM
Still fairly new to BTC, and only make them with signature campaigns. However trading is obviously a major role in bitcoin. Can someone explain to me how it works, and how I can get involved?
yes, trading is major role in bitcoin, bitcoin trading is simple as we see when people buy on low price and sell high, but when we do it,i dont think i feel same like people,i dont know why, trading just get small profit. is suggest you to trade with big amount of bitcoin, and you will have chance to make big profit.
2779  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 3 confirmations in 10mins with minimal fees!!! on: March 25, 2016, 02:39:38 PM
Just moved some bitcoin and had 3 confirmations within 10mins.  i paid the minimum fee that core required which was 0.00001433.  i think bitcoin is working fine, and tells me that the transactions waiting confirmation must have no fee what so ever, would you agree?
yes i'm agree,so far i'm fine and never felt long time confirmation, but honestly i never use that small fee,its really small fee,do you sent that bitcoin from blockchain wallet?because i use coinbase and can't set minimum fee as small like that.
2780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In 2010/2011 Bitcoin was really exciting! on: March 25, 2016, 02:26:08 PM
People used to talk about "losing sleep thinking about BTC all the time", and it wasn't just about money.
We wanted to set people free.

In 2010/2011 Bitcoin was really exciting!
Are you excited now about the Bitcoin project/economy?
Why or why not?
i dont know about it,i know bitcoin not on that year, and i never dream and predict abut bitcoin on that year. but now i also relize that bitcoin is all about money, trade it,hold it,its for money, and i wondering how "bitcoin life" on 2010/2011,can you share your story when you meet bitcoin on that year?
