2761  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I have a few beginner questions regarding crypto trading on: March 30, 2021, 08:42:18 PM
Now that I've learned that all my crypto is being stored in my coinbase account, and not the wallets that I have in my coinbase account, how does the process work when it comes to transferring my crypto to my new Cobo Vault Pro FROM my coinbase account, once I get that hardware wallet and set it up? I'm asking because I've done all my trading on coinbase and not my iphone. I'll eventually figure it out, but thought it would be a good idea to ask here, while waiting for my Cobo Vault Pro to show up in the mail.

^ Just find the withdrawal option on Coinbase and transfer your BTC to your hardware wallet and find the receiving address of your hardware wallet.
If that is not a huge amount and you are not planning to store it for a long period of time, I suggest you use Electrum wallet because it is ready to use.
Nevertheless, you are right, never store BTC on exchange because that could be not yours, people here believed that not your keys, not your BTC, so storing in exchange for a long time will probably high risk that could will lost.
2762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Gambling company that did hit the jackpot during the pandemic. on: March 29, 2021, 10:25:08 PM
~snip~
What do you think ?
Will the government think twice before keeping the gambling market the same or will they revert back when everything is normal.
^ Probably government accepts that the gambling industry is a part now of the economic growth, with the contribution that gives by the gambling companies as a tax, even though the government that dips on debt by other countries through the help of gambling companies by generating revenue. I think it will never revert to normal, everything has a new normal, and the gambling industry is now very helpful to recover fast our economic growth. Nevertheless, we can deny that a casino should follow under the government's jurisdictions to protect young people not to be addicted to gambling, which means they are still regulated.
2763  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Strategies to trade new listing on top exchange on: March 29, 2021, 10:12:46 PM
Waiting for the price to stabilize is the right strategy, I personally don't even follow that FOMO, if you pay attention not all the prices of coins listed on the top exchanges have risen very high, that FOMO sometimes happens before the listing starts,
like FIS coin its price increased to $5 before listing on Binance, and when trading starts its price tends to be corrected.

It's probably best to get these assets before binance even make the announcements because immediately they do, it starts pumping and those who already have a bag will be gearing to dump it on Launch on binance or other exchanges. That's why I don't try to chase tokens on other exchanges when binance makes their listing announcement. Ideally, one shouldn't buy tokens when it's fomo time or when they just listed it unless it's a quick trade that would only be open for a short while. Otherwise, it's a no no for me.
^ Definitely right, investors get FOMOed when it is newly listed and it will pump too much, after a month or weeks, it will dump and never come back to the price that starts pumping. Even though you will look at the most newly coin listed, it will start first at the high price and then suddenly the price goes down. So we need to be careful upon investing a newly listed coin even though that is on the big exchange, most common scenario after pumping expected that there's a massive dump. Nevertheless, not all project has the same result, you will be lucky enough and consider as a jackpot if you found a good coin to invest that organically the price pumping and not just because of the pump and dump team manipulation.
2764  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2nd Part of the big bullrun is starting now on: March 29, 2021, 09:07:46 PM
Looking like we starting stage 2 of the big bullrun, target 89k
^ How did you know this?
BTC price will probably not far beyond the $50-59K range price in the market or it will probably have a stable price during this month. As I saw, there is a lot of predictions here without giving prior support to prove that their predictions are right. For me, I think $89k for the BTC price this year is quite possible and I also believed in that but we can put an exact time when it will happen. Nevertheless, there is nothing wrong if you keep holding on to it.
2765  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best TA, or combined TA and FA, on the web? on: March 28, 2021, 09:20:42 PM
Just curious about who y'all are following in the world of crypto trading analysis? Who has the best technical analysis, fundamental analysis or, better yet, combined TA and FA? It seems like now everybody and their grandma has a YouTube channel for crypto TA, but who actually does it well?
I have to follow someone's TA's but it doesn't mean I was relying on him but just to consider this as a basis to create my own TA which I think it is very important when you are just a beginner. May others will do the same but to keep reminded that not all of this will work 100%, of course, we can't really see what will happen next and that our TA's are just our won assumption and those individuals who did this also are having their own presumptions. And that is really wrong to follow their TA's as this was the same of what we do.
^ Definitely right, there is no accurate forecast on guessing the market price even how good you are in both analyses, in TA or even in FA, both these analyses will remain prediction as we are free to make our own presumptions. It will always volatile market and an unpredictable one. Nevertheless, TA and FA combining will probably great, because at least you have a reference than a simple guessing on the market price. There are too many videos on Youtube regarding trading practice, you can search them all and learn and have a better experience.
2766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has the potential to become the central bank of the central banks on: March 28, 2021, 08:45:17 PM
Bitcoin being decentralized is the main issue why banks don't use nor acknowledge it. Also I don't think that we'll ever accept giving up on the volatility of this coin where most of us take advantage to earn some profits. I would like it to remain as is.
^ There is no need for that bank will accept BTC for the central banks, BTC will not change and it will remain decentralized and the bank is centralized they are very in conflict with each other. Let say BTC adoption by most central banks, but that is it, they just adopted and that is all because of the fact they can manipulate and control it because as we know it is decentralized. Nevertheless, when we are talking about a global currency, it will probably happen but not replace its national currency and probably it is reserve for a global currency that baked by the government. However, who knows, the next 10 years id very far behind to predict.
2767  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading, is it worth? on: March 28, 2021, 07:56:30 PM
Depends on the capital that you are willing to invest in day trading.

Generally, prices of cryptocurrency changes every single minute of the day without any notice. Some traders took advantage of this volatility and they engage into day trading. While it may seem tempting, the guaranty of profit is not absolute as the loss is directly proportional to the money you invest.

I remember I read an article about day traders as they lose 97% all the time and the successful day traders earn as big as someone who works as a bank teller. So, if you are willing to risk huge amounts of capital, then expect big winnings/losings at the same time.
^ I disagree with your statement here.
Gaining profit in day trading is not about the capital, it is all about the knowledge and skills that you had for perfect market price analysis.
For me, it will depend on your experience + skills + knowledge = profit, if you have all of these, then consider day trading is profitable enough for you because the chances of losing are very far on your side once you know that you are good into it. Nevertheless, it does not have a guarantee that all of the time you get profit in day trading.
2768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the official uses of bitcoin other then trading? on: March 28, 2021, 07:47:25 PM
^ For the short one, BTC is intended for an alternative currency against fiat and also have financial freedom which everyone will probably like BTC is just because you hold your fund fully control or be your own bank rather. There are too many uses of BTC but OP did not research this for further clarification. Op wanted an easy answer even though we can google this information OP wants. Nevertheless, for now, people are trying to store BTC because of the value, the goal was failed with the aim of a peer-to-peer electronic cash system.
2769  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How To Protect Yourself In This Situation on: March 27, 2021, 09:11:39 PM
Given these parameters:

Bitcoin is at 37,000 and you have a stop loss at 35,500 and then a buy at 34,900 to replenish what you sold and the market rebounds back to 35,000 before crashing again to 34,900 and taking with it your last buy.

What is the best approach to guard against this?

At the moment the price of Bitcoin was in between 51k$ up to 52, 000$ plus. Implementing scalping into Bitcoin is not applicable for \the newbies but if you think you are fully knowledgeable in doing the actual trade in the exchange platform you can apply it, but if not, never try to do it. So, if you want to earn via Bitcoin trading it is much better to hold it in the long term, this is one of the best thing you can do
now actually.
^ That is definitely right, don't monitor your investment daily or weekly, it makes you become frustrating seeing the price in the market has an up and down moving in the market. Probably the best thing to do is invest now and forgot something a year and never come back after hearing again that the price of your investment was double. There is only one way to protect yourself, be wise and smart in every decision you have to be made. Because there is no trial and errors in trading and it could not be revoked.
2770  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you guys happy if bitcoin will dropped to $10k? Why? on: March 27, 2021, 08:56:01 PM
~snip~
$10k is just wishful thinking on the part of no-coiners and tarders.
^ But no way $10k in most BTC holders.
I feel that BTC price won't even touch on the $30k price pullback and you are right, that it belongs to a big crash if that will happen which is I believed 2% out 100% the chances will become true. Nevertheless, I am not happy to see upon having a big crash on the market, probably even a short correction or a short pullback will probably happen but if that a big crash, it seems very irrelevant to the fact that BTC now is on mainstream and very trending asset that most people wanted to have.
2771  Economy / Speculation / Re: The reasons why Bitcoin price drops recently on: March 27, 2021, 08:17:47 PM
^ This was on the Coindesk article and explained it there about the reason for the recent dump.
https://www.coindesk.com/market-wrap-bitcoin-near-56k-flat-activity
It said that it could be because the U.S. Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell said, Cryptocurrency “not really useful stores of value” and that means it is included BTC. I don't know why there are too many influencer people that make the BTC price dump and pump through their words and don't know why people are listening to them, this is the same in Elon Musk's case.
2772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it smart to invest in Bitcoin? or in Ethereum? on: March 27, 2021, 07:54:59 PM
Investing in Bitcoin and Ethereum is a smart choice. Not only these 2 coins but there are several other coins that need to be included in your portfolio list such as BNB, DOT and many other altcoins that have very good potential.

Can choose to invest in short term, mid term or long term. Determine a target return on investment and sell when that target is reached.
^ That is definitely a good idea, investing both of them (BTC and ETH) is the best choice, you can not only focus on the one coin because both of them are potential can gain profit in the future. I saw BTC is good for storing value, in a long term there would be your profit and it is guaranteed that the x10 of making a profit will absolutely easy. ETH will probably be good for NFT's projects when volume 2.0 will successfully be launched, through a smart contract that ETH has it becomes useful. Probably it will be fixed at the time regarding the high fees that on ETH that we currently faced.
2773  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I coded a bot that buys bitcoin every time Elon Musk tweets about bitcoin and op on: March 25, 2021, 12:08:07 PM
^ I appreciated your bot project but I have a question too, is there a time frame before the bot will execute the buying point?
Because if the bot executes buy instantly after reading the tweet, it will not probably have an effect immediately. It will take probably an hour.
Nevertheless, probably this is an effective way to gain profit but I don't think it will consistently have the same result every time when Elon Musk tweeted about BTC. Just one last question, how about if the tweet is in neutral sentiment?
2774  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's 21 million limit on: March 25, 2021, 09:24:04 AM
I don't conceive it possible coz I'm a bitcoin admirer as well as its believer, Satoshi is my god and god's intention cannot be changed. provided that someone is here to change the amount of bitcoin, then maybe Satoshi will land and forbid it. Bitcoin is limited and humans won't reach a consensus of enlarging its number. when bitcoin's amount rises, bitcoin is not bitcoin any more Lips sealed
Anyone can change the codes because now everyone can learn about the blockchain and build their own. But it cannot be the original bitcoin that is what the blockchain and decentralization is about so yeah God is unique.
^ Yes, you are right that they can modify the code because that is open source code but no way that they can change it. If that will happen, it will change everything and should accept by everyone. BTC code should not change because it will create a conflict to the network that against by the users and the miners of BTC, if that will change, it will change everything. That is why we have different forked coins to BTC, they created a network that similar to BTC but actually not the same when we talked decentalization.
2775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of BTC on: March 25, 2021, 09:08:48 AM
~snip~
But every now and then, I wonder if these circumstances will last longer and improve in the future.

What are your thoughts on the matter?
^ Everything will change and everything will have improved and let us hope that one of those improvements is the transaction fee of BTC.
BTC is considered as young in the crypto industry and for sure there are too many major brands that will follow the steps of those who are very well known and the first adopter of BTC. I saw the potential of BTC that will probably have continues growth and have massive adoption in the future. The fixed amount did not reach yet and the time will come BTC price becomes more expensive.
2776  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't buy this dip yet! on: March 24, 2021, 11:49:53 AM
Bitcoin prices are below $ 55k now, for me this is a good opportunity to buy gradually at this level,
^ If OP bought BTC at this level price, OP will probably have now a profit of at least 2% from the initial capital.
I know that after a short pullback there is a resistance, BTC will not down beyond $50k. It will not down straight as I have noticed with the price movement in the market. Nevertheless, that is my personal assumption, it will also change in a different direction.
However, it is very hard to know when is actually a dip in the price, just buy BTC and wait until 5 years, guarantee there is a new ATH.
2777  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who's gonna buy Tesla using Bitcoin? on: March 24, 2021, 11:35:09 AM
Would you buy Tesla using your Bitcoin or you will wait to $100K?  Roll Eyes
^ If I am not in hurry I will.
But I will prefer to choose HODL than spending using to buy a new car, once I saw my profit was doubled that is the time I will buy a new car but not Tesla.
Ferrari is my dream car. When they will accept BTC?

^ I saw Yolodice gambling site was still there and you did not mark it as close. They stopped operating last month.
Another concern, can you more add gambling sites that come from here in the forum? I saw most gambling site there is not familiar and Luckyfish gambling site was there as heard, they don't have a good reputation here. Nevertheless, suggesting adding bustadice and bustabit.
