2161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Metaverse x Gambling on: September 11, 2021, 06:22:23 PM
Idk how else would it differ from other P2E schemes, but given that there are elements of poker embedded on it, I'm sure it will quickly gain a following and supporters. The NFT space is growing more and more every day, and with such projects like this, the growth would only accelerate. The problem is, at the end of the day, it's just poker, so it will be hard to persuade people to transfer over to metaverse just to satiate their gambling needs. Then again, the NFT space is looking more and more promising by the day, so I think there's already that for people who are still quite unsure if they should jump ship or not.
^ Definitely right, is just a poker no other different on the other poker games. There are too many NFT games now with a different concept of games and I think the NFT games that game has more exciting were most likely people be like by the players and the hunters. Probably on the other side, this will next arise, we don't know if players will have interest in it but once there's an NFT project, there will be investors but the thing we don't know if people will stay on it or jump on the ship later on.
2162  Economy / Gambling / Re: [CLOSED] ★BetBTC★ Sportsbook | Bitcoin Sports Betting | Since 2014 on: September 11, 2021, 05:54:28 PM
Changing some strategy would bring profit in the table. And 10 BTC isn’t quite high if you consider the domain name, the reputation it has built and the user they have on their platform. All together it may not be a huge amount.
Possible, but very risky. Many investors would think twice before investing because of the competitive crypto gambling market at present. I can't think of a single crypto gambling site that resurrected successfully after shutting down their business.

I think that it would be better to invest such a big amount in a popular casino's bankroll for long-term profits instead.
^ But I think if the gambling casino is trusted just like this casino, they will return the fund to the players and the investors as well.
If you trust the casino, 10 BTC is worth it to invest and it has a good return at the right time, I saw gambling casinos that allow investors are their profit depended on the casino revenue. I remember Yolodice when there is someone invested there, after that they temporarily close the investing options until such day they declare of shutting down but right after they distributed the left fund from the investors and players.
2163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jamel Herring vs Shakur Stevenson on: September 10, 2021, 10:26:04 PM
It is not a popular boxer but I guess it will get also interested to the people out there.
Shakur Stevenson previously held the WBO featherweight championship and he was depending on it and it was a little bit challenging on the side of Jamel Herring at this time. They are good both fighters and this match is very exciting to see, who is possible in a favor of most bookies on this match?
They are both on the same level I guess considering the records that they have, and maybe not an interesting match to lure more viewers and there’s no odds yet for this one. I’m not familiar with this two, based on their records and the OP, the percentage for a KO match is very low so we will see a head to head match, will try to analyze this one so I can know if its worth to bet next match.
^ Which is a perfect match.
But in my own, Shakur is my favorite bet on this match, it could be he has become a multi championship if ever he will be able to defeat Jamel here.
There is a potential that Shakur will win the fight and I think, he will become the most favorable odds in this match. Let us wait for it and for this event and prefer money to bet.
2164  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Did you profit from the dip on: September 10, 2021, 09:59:26 PM
I was caught by surprise by the sudden fall in bitcoin price!  And I did not buy the dip as I was already in red!  Although,  the indicators were reading reversal couple with the fact that the market were over leverage and there were grasp for liquidity. Those dips were opportunities for buying low! I guess full time trader would have made a kill in a very short time!
In a market situation like this, you can make a profit when there is a dip. I sometimes do scalping and do sometimes spot trading while the market is the bloody hell. But if you don't have the confidence to take a risk of everything, you can hold it and wait until the market will recover. It is very risky to look for a profit while the market is in dip, one mistake will be equivalent to how many losses come from your portfolio, it may not wipe out everything but it will surely hurt your pocket.
^ Perfect, it usually works for me but sometimes it is not, trading is very difficult to adjust and study. I already proved that there are no pure skills in trading, it could be possible you will lose, or if you are lucky enough you will win. Buying from the dip is the only solution to make a profit but the problem is others did not know how to execute it. Remember only spend what you can afford to lose.
However, there is no real assurance that we can able to make a profit from it.
2165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it wrong to be a long term holder on: September 10, 2021, 09:52:07 PM
Why do people refuse to take profits when their coins and tokens are surging so high? Should this be called greed or they simply have strong believe that the coins and tokens will worth more in future? Is it wrong to keep holding coins even when they bring 1000x profits cos everyone seem to be talking about 'greed' here and there
^ There is nothing wrong if you will hold for the long term, as long as you can see the coin on your hand is worth it in the future. You can always monitor the coins you have. Because not all of them will give profit, the project that has a real product will most likely succeed in a long period of time. Sometimes, we can't able to gain profit in a short period of time that is why I always prefer a long-term holder. Long-term holding is not greed, you will probably see a right time or a perfect time when your profit was there. Because it is insane to sell your coins under the lowest price from the purchase.
2166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My hardware store now accepts Bitcoin! on: September 10, 2021, 09:46:27 PM
I would like to thank the people who replied to my topic where I asked a few questions regarding the implementation of Bitcoin. Putting that aside, I have successfully implemented "Lighting Network" Bitcoin payments in my hardware store. Already 4 different persons have used Bitcoin as a payment today. I have not only implemented Bitcoin payments in my store but I invested 10 000$ in BTC.

I am fascinated by Bitcoin and I will definitely stay active in this amazing forum.
^ That is awesome and let us hope that there are the same as you using BTC as a payment of store or merchant.
I had like to know how you set up the process of the accepting lightning network, I think it is difficult to implement but since you are there, I truly admire people like this. Well, good luck with your business and we must be thankful to you because not only do you help BTC and also the community as well to spread the BTC as the most recognition on BTC.
2167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greatest Gambling Losers on: September 10, 2021, 09:28:56 PM
I can sense how much emotional trauma those guys must have gone through. I actually felt for Akio Kashiwagi  who Lost $19 million and was murdered in his home and it could be as a result of debts he could be owing. It's really sad how people get so trapped by gambling addiction and get so engrossed in that that help becomes an impossible mission.
^ There is always such kind of people, greediness will always be the main reason why there are some people have the greatest losses on their whole life.
I don't know how they overcome such a story and do your think that just because they have a lot of money they will probably continue their gambling activity whatever happens. They possibly trap because they don't have a self-limit. I gambling it should be their mind that it is always a have entertainment not the way how they will profited on it,
2168  Other / Off-topic / Re: Corruption and Sports on: September 10, 2021, 09:16:16 PM
The house or the sportsbook only accept bets, they might get some information on fixed games but they cannot control the game. The ones that could potentially fix a game are those who are playing the game, the players, even the coach, and the referees, as their decision making could be vital to the outcome of the game.
^ I am quite curious how they have information on the game, it is probably an insider who wants to make a profit. But that is right, there is no such way that they will get an accurate result, they make it all by there selves. Fixed games are often happening in sports because as for me, they are also fighting their dignity not only for money. If you have a very strong team, it is possible to get lost. However, anywhere as of now, there is always a corrupt.
2169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not make curiosity to people around you while you are playing gambling. on: September 10, 2021, 09:02:15 PM
Responsible parents should never gamble when their kids are around Still, this is not enough. Nowadays, most kids have smartphones with access to the Internet so they will be exposed to gambling advertising.
So, apart from keeping your gambling activities secret as much as possible, you should also keep a close eye on your kids and monitor their smartphones to see what kind of websites they visit. Using parental control apps is also a good idea to block gambling websites and ads.

I have to agree with that as it might gain curiosity from them. That much better to keep away from them but it wasn't good to hide from them about what we are doing. May to educate them will give them some insight about gambling but for sure they will still forget it as their interest is not for this stuff. yeah, it was best to keep them out and never to teach them how to gambling as this has no positive effect but gonna be on the negative side.
^ Something like this, you can hide from the minor age but it is good if you will always open to your family older than you to seek advice and guide you not exceed the limit and if that will happen, possible you belong to the possible addicted people in gambling. But this is commonly happening, your lifetime habit will always depend upon your surroundings, if you are in a bad community, possible that you are bad too, the same on the gambling, it will influence the people and make curiosity on it.
2170  Economy / Gambling / Re: wanna start your crypto casino ? casinostart.io on: September 10, 2021, 08:57:37 PM
You should either a) provide a more user friendly/low cost way to start your own casino or b) offer a more premium service that ensures that there will be no disputes about revenue into the future.

Right now your service is stuck in between the two in a sort of no mans land.
You are right. No one will be interested to keep their service at the stage of now. But there might be lower the risk of the service if they provide premium service and/or provide manual service. If there is no manual service then there will have high risk for the site either for you or for other developers.
Creating your own casinos should have a long term plan and having this kind of service might not be enough so if you’re going to invest better to do if with your own team who can control everything without using any party, by this you can really know how the casinos work and your profit are more secure. Anyway, this may be a lot more cheaper but still not a safest one, investors should go for more good options.
^ Probably there is no secure way of making a profit if you are a gambling owner. Everything is at risk especially if there is always a big check out that comes from your gambling and you cannot able to replace it. And I agree, running a gambling company is not just easy, if you are new to this business, building a reputation will take some time just to achieve it and next, there should a plan that you must follow and separate and calculate the possible expenses and you will see your profit.
2171  Economy / Gambling / Re: Where can I sell my crypto gambling account? on: September 09, 2021, 10:23:01 PM
Only stupid people would buy crypto gambling site accounts from others. The fact is that gambling itself is a risky proposition due to the house edge against you in literally every single game.

Purchasing these high level accounts seems tempting, but your chances of earning profit in the short-term and long-term drastically decreases due to the added risk factor involved here. Don't be stupid people.
^ I worried about upon buying and after a few hours using, it will ask again a KYC verification because of the IP address changed. If not asking KYC, it will freeze for further investigation because the IP address has changed. In the long run, a gambling site staff will probably start monitoring your account. This is very risky to buy an account on gambling, though it is tempting but if I were you don't risk your money. There is also a chance that OP will recover it after selling it to you. However, trying your luck to sell your account is not bad at all here since there is no rule about that, don't forget to use escrow for both parties are safe.

Also, you can guys ping me here in bitcointalk if ever you have questions one technicalities in doing artworks. Just don't ask me regarding on what concept of Roobet art you're going to use, but other than that I will be happy to help.
^ Great, probably someday when I want to join again.
I was there participating in the art competition before but my art was so common and I know it is too far to get spots from those winners so I decided to stop. But in fact, I really happy that I have an entry there showing my participation and what an inspiring entry was made by you. I don't know how to make art the same as yours but hopefully, I can approach you someday on how it will start and what is a strategy that you use to have a better result. I like the sexy stuff too and I want it sexier than yours but the problem is I don't know how to start it.
2173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [WARNING!] For gamblers using coins.ph on: September 09, 2021, 09:59:21 PM
As suggested by some members here, use this kind of format when gambling.

exchange - electrum - gambling site.
gambling site - electrum - exchange.

The strategy is time-consuming and you also have to pay more charges on transaction fees, but that kind of flow makes your account safer against the rules for illegal gambling activities.

It's really not time consuming actually, especially these days when fees are 1 satoshi only (not that it matters w/d from an exchange). But yes, from an exchange especially, always send to your own wallet because they will sometimes ask for proof of ownership (which is easy to do with screenshot or signed).

I would even not link immediately the same input from gambling - electrum - exchange
^ There is still risk even if you will follow the pattern, the pattern is very simple not unless if you will use a BTC mixer for this that surely you are safe and not will be linked to the gambling site to your wallet. If an exchange wants to find a loophole they had a valid reason to freeze your account and probably your fund cannot be able to withdraw. Probably it is recommended as always if we will use mixers if the exchange is very strict or else find a better exchange that did not have strict about where the fund comes from.
2174  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling license on: September 09, 2021, 09:51:20 PM
Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I'm looking to rent a legit online gambling license. What's the best way to do so?
Acquiring your own license would be more safe if you want to start a business rather than renting license. You have to do some research if rental is legal rather than believing that someone told you that it is legal. I would do as what LUCKMCLFY recommended. Renting license could be a problem if ever the one who rent you the license decides to stop letting you rent his/her/their license for gambling business.
^ Definitely you are right and it should must your license, not on other names.
I suggest to OP to read this article on how to get an online gambling business license, there is no need to rent if you can afford to get your own.
https://meliorgames.com/gambling/online-gambling-license-how-to-get-it/. And I also suggest getting your own lawyer for this and understand first the jurisdiction in your country or in any offshore country that you may choose because they had different rules and laws.
2175  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE IS STEALING PEOPLES MONEY AND BLOCKING WITHDRAWLS SCAM on: September 09, 2021, 09:18:46 PM
^ That is good advice above, just follow the advice and also the correct format of submitting a scam report. Since you have compiled all your evidence this is valid to the scam accusation board and as much as you can, you can also sign a message with the BTC wallet that you have used to deposit on their site as another proof of ownership that the screenshot is yours. I heard many issues towards them and I think they are selectively scamming their users for the shady activity, a fraud gambling owner like this will must shut down and don't let operate again, or being ban from this community is enough.
2176  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🔥BFG is listed on CoinGecko|⚡️Free BTC+BNB|🔔Polygon & XRP release on: September 08, 2021, 09:53:30 PM
Go BANANAS on BetFury
~snip~

Nice to see another partnership, as the others have mentioned Apeswap is one of the fastest growing DEX around so this will generate a lot of extra interest for the BFG token and Betfury itself. With the bounty campaign they held on this forum, I have some BANANAS that I now can use to mine some extra tokens  Grin.
^ That is quite a good partnership, I never thought that Banana is popular now when they run a signature campaign here I have a token but unfortunately, I sold it earlier because I thought it will be grown. But look at now, they even have a partner like a gambling company and probably there is a lot more. However, it is a lot of progress BFG team, there are too many tie-ups and it becomes wide accepted of cryptocurrency which makes you become popular and so on.
2177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Setting up a gambling business on: September 07, 2021, 10:00:01 PM
It will not be an easy task to establish a reputable site as it will require lots of effort and computer programming knowledge, gambling business environment has been a competitive one lately and you will have to hire the best set of computer programmers to help build a suitable gambling platform.

yes, definitely will need a programmer and a designer
you can search on these freelance websites maybe? like fiverr or upwork
better to hire someoe that has a track record and worked with other clients before if you're looking to do something professional.

good luck!
^ Must be a professional programmer and designer that won't ever let you down.
It is really hard to find someone at this moment, that is truly working hard for you and never scams you in the end. I suggest finding near you first before looking at random people on the internet, it is better if you will interact with the programmer physically than the virtual one. We never know you are dealing with the scammer all your money will be gone as your capital. So be careful too.

And you are saying to read TOS in this website before create the account. If you have visited their website, you should know that you will not get any information without registering on this website. So if you want to read TOS, you have to register first!
^ I hate a casino like this, you can able to read the TOS as a guess and you are right, upon visiting the site I did not found the TOS there so you need to register before you will the TOS. Supposedly, TOS is visible to the guess who will visit the site and you should know first the TOS before diving in. That is why I did not get interested to register the site because this is not common, most common is we should know first the TOS and read carefully before we register. However, we hope that this will probably have an address to the team and disclose first the TOS to the guess of the site.
2179  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cryptolottostore.com - TWO NEW MILLIONAIRES MADE IN ONE DAY! on: September 04, 2021, 09:57:05 PM
Lottery games, the attraction of this forum is still lacking and only casinos are much interested in let alone a few games that are combined on one existing site, but indeed this thread focuses on lotteries so it doesn't invite many people to try it and maybe only outside the forum This is what actively promotes it so that the OP is not online too often at all times.
Never even responding to this thread anymore.
Never responding into their own thread could neither only have two possible things that happened whether they dont visit this place anymore and focus marketing outside or simply

they had stopped because they arent making money anymore and lottery is just really that good when it is done on national lottery but here on online it doesnt really
get that much players so these sites do eventually die not like into those casinos that offering other games.
^ I have been here for years and most likely I have seen a crypto lotto that won't survive. Probably people think that the chance of winning is very slim and that is the reason people did not attract to this kind of game. However, there are a lot of people still hoping that they will hit the jackpot and join purchasing tickets, like I said, they will not stay longer because after choosing the number to bet it needs several hours to wait. Kinda boring to them, probably there are people who patiently wait until they will end up hitting the jackpot prize. In lottery, there is nothing to update is just about the result, so we don't expect a regular update on this thread.
2180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is only new to the newbie on: September 04, 2021, 09:35:08 PM
It's all just their unwillingness to learn new things. Such people need tangible evidence in their immediate environment that has been successful in bitcoin. And open their eyes and open their mindset about the real bitcoin. And explain all the differences. If they can't accept it then it's our job to only spread good information. Maybe they are one of the many people who are losing money because they don't want to learn new technology.
^ The problem with them is lack of knowledge that we should fulfill, we can teach them those who are willing to listen but if those who want to insist, let them free and forget them. Provide some evidence that proves BTC is not a scam. Only those people using BTC to scam others and I hope they will understand this. However, those who are willing to listen are yours, explain to them very well that BTC is not a good source of income, it is a currency that we can probably good alternate to fiat.
